Eden Designhotel Maastricht Review

Nice hotel with great rooms and friendly staff. Conveniently located in the trending part (Wijck) of Maastricht, close to the station and within walking distance of the center.

Professional, nice and helpful staff, multilingual Dutch English German, rooms with some a bit unusual cut to design, with us the bathroom very open in the living room, air conditioning a bit too cold, no parking, but parking garages nearby. Food in the restaurant and breakfast very tasty.

Nice location near the station, delicious Rituals products in the room. Perfect for a weekend away

Fabulous, funky, comfy, arty hotel with great staff and lovely personal touches. The Flo bar/restaurant was excellent too, tasty and adeptly executed dishes, and a lovely bar experience too.

Fine and friendly staff, top room (comfort xl) and hotel within walking distance of the center. We will definitely come back again. Thx folks :-)

Nice hotel and good food and room full of air conditioners

Even during this difficult period in time the hotel staff made us feel so welcome. The hotel is made "corona proof", but I was so happy it was not awkward (like in many stores). For dinner you could order delivery and have it dropped off at the reception. Breakfast boxes to pick up for in the morning, for your room or to go. Overall, great stay, nice room and the little present for our dog in the room at arrival topped it off. Will definitely come back!

Mixed feelings with this design hotel. The staff at the reception was nice and attentative. My room was quite big, which I liked a lot. However, there are quite few buts:

1) The bathroom is attached to the sleeping part and has no door
2) Somehow the pipes of the heating system run next to my room making it really hot (even with the windows open and 2 degrees outside)
3) The shower in the bath is really low and did not have any power

The next morning I told the staff about these things. And although they were aware of these things I did not got the feeling that it would be solved in the near future.

Breakfast was average by the way. Staff during breakfast was more busy making jokes with each other than with their customers.

Great location near the centre, friendly staff, good rooms.

A nice and well-appointed hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff from reception to cleaning. We enjoyed it with the brothers, sister, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. And after checking out on the last day also received a voucher, to pick up a delicious Limburg pie from the bakery across the street.

Great rooms with everything you need. Close to train station too.

Hotel near the station with spacious and attractive rooms

Had a super nice stay at this hotel. Location is perfect and we had a balcony where we sat a lot in the sun. Staff very friendly and breakfast was good. It felt like we were staying abroad for a few days. Compliments!

We have just returned from this hotel and immediately went to the reception because we had a very bad night, normally your room should be completely darkened, but curtains and drapes that still let in the morning light, I ask myself during and during the evening I thought we had a window open, room 106! , but it wasn't! what a hell of a noise! so bye ... sleep..and just that we needed so badly! to which the lady at the reception said .. yes we know that, but this is normal with a city hotel! Hey !! we go more on hotels in cities across Europe .. but we had never experienced this before! for the rest .. friendly staff .. rooms sufficient .. but what we have paid then I think this is not correct! Like a response from the manager or owner.

Nice, well cared for and modern hotel. With a good location to the city but also for public transport which is within walking distance.

Innovative hotel with good comfort. Partly the rooms are probably very warm by uninsulated heating pipes and can not be cooled. In the courtyard the kitchen is loud and can be heard until late. Nevertheless: I would come back for a short trip

Very close to the train station. Short walk to the core area. Breakfast was awesome. Service was great. Rooms were spacious.

Nice hotel, location is perfect in relation to the station and the center. Breakfast was delicious and the service extremely friendly and welcoming. Recommended to visit maastricht.

Nice hotel. Delicious breakfast. Room on the busy side of the street. Not pleasant. At next visit ask for quiet side room. Hanos dissolves below. Hope noise.

The place of the hotel is very good, it is from one side not far from rail station, from other side close to downtown.
The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is very good. There is also pub and restaurant in the hotel. When I came to my room , I found a voucher to a drink to the pub. I can recommend this hotel.

Modern and cozy hotel. Very close to the Maastricht station. The breakfast is worth it since it is very complete. The center is about 10 minutes away on foot. Near the hotel there are enough restaurants and cafes to eat.

We had a super night at the hotel. The location is really super and next time in Maastricht we will definitely return to this hotel.

Right in the center of Maastricht. Easily accessible by public transport.
Modern in design, nice breakfast and nice rooms. Too bad the shower is in the bath. Small downside.

Top hotel, nice rooms if you have more to spend at least, wonderfully fresh but not overly breakfast, nice staff and very customer friendly. Hospitable environment in a prime location in Maastricht. Cleaning may be better.

A nice hotel in the city center of Maastricht, located directly at the train station and about a 10-minute walk to the market and the pedestrian zone. Clean, tidy, small but nice rooms, breakfast good. We were there for the second time and would love to come back.

Great hotel for a visit to Maastricht or the MECC: close to the station, center and MECC within walking distance. Nice bar, great breakfast ,, nice beds.

Friendly staff. Located nearby the train station. Hotel is clean. However, for a design hotel the looks are ok. In terms of practicality of the designs aren't well thought out. Too much light coming into the rooms through the window in bathroom, so it's not dark enough for bed time.

Very good hotel. I only stayed there for one night but the room was big and clean. The bar is not very big but the drinks are good. The breakfast was buffet style and plentiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Super hotel !! The rooms were spotless, neat and the bed slept wonderfully and as an extra the nespresso machine. The staff was extremely friendly and breakfast was super arranged despite the corona rules. Highly recommended.

Rooms are nice, cosy and clean. The size of the Comfort XL room is pretty good, and it even has a Nespresso machine in the room

Not cheap. But very well. Parking garage at 5 minutes. Annoying if you get a ticket when unloading. So pay attention. You will not receive a receipt on your window.
