It is well-known worldwide that the Dutch have an idea of architecture and, moreover, are artistically talented. Here to see in this converted to the hotel, former monastery. The rooms are spartan and simply furnished, which is intentional as it used to be a monastery. Apart from that, the interior of the Kruiserenhotel's is spectacularly designed. In the lower area the bar with the Christmas room, the restaurant area located in the upper part (here I ate the second best filet of all time). Time and again changing exhibitions of local artists are changing the face of this special hotel. It is not for people who just want to be hoped for and where the cellar with the fronds runs after, but for creative thinkers who know how to enjoy a variety of change.

A beautiful hotel a beautiful contrast between a church and a modern art decoration. The restaurant is in the most beautiful part of the church high up near the stained glass windows. Just the price of the restaurant a little high for my taste, but delicious and refined cuisine. we keep a very nice memory of this hotel.

Disappointment ... The baggage handlers and employees only help or pay attention to you if you drive in porsche or large sedans. Rooms other than suites do not reflect the place where you are. Housekeeping is lacking in the corners of the room, the TV did not work half the time, the wifi is not available in the rooms but only at the reception. The room was not heated when we arrived. To summarize, a room quite in the standard, and the style of all hotels (see even below, no wifi) absolutely not justifying the asking price.

This is a spectacular hotel built into an old church in downtown Maastricht. Peace and quiet reign in this space that is modern and has all the amenities that one would expect from a first class hotel. It's the historic nature of the building that drew us in and will make us repeated guests everytime we're in town. They've integrated the cloister into a lovely space where you can host a reception or simply take a break over a cup of coffee or something a bit stronger if you prefer!

What a disappointment this hotel. Worth 3 stars and no more stars. Everything is up, old and worn out. Walls everywhere broken and ugly. Beds a disaster. In the room, everything on, old and worn out. Showering by climbing in the bath and then discovering that there is almost no water pressure. Air conditioning piece, seems like a Boeing 747 all night. Roll Curtains broken and full of holes in the test of time. Mosquitoes and flies in the room and mountains of dust. Your nose is full after 5 minutes. Parking (sick expensive) 5 minutes walk because you are not allowed to stand in front of the hotel, no permit for the night? it appears to be reserved for the guests of the restaurant .... Upon arrival, a half-shaved employee will be waiting for you! Inside the corridors all carts and junk of many days that you have to walk around that is really everywhere and you already hit your head because everything is low and there is no light but a kind of disco lights in 4 colors. What a huge disappointment this hotel. Really worth up to 3 stars. Price / quality completely out of balance. Too expensive. Ibis, Holiday Inn or Vd Valk much better. Do not go to sleep here if you think you will get 5 stars. It is really a total travesty and owner should be deeply ashamed to ask so much money for these sleeping lofts!

A suitable place to spend the night in Maastricht if you have more money. This hotel is located in an old monastery and has been beautifully renovated. In addition to the beautiful location, there is also art and delicious food.

16th, 17th Century cathedral converted to a modern hotel located very near the city center. Given the building s existing architecture and stipulations on what can and cannot be renovated, each room is unique and there is no fitness center. However, guests have access to a local gym within walking distance. Member of the Marriott Bonvoy program.

I only ate a drink at this super nice hotel but I was upside down about the location. The service was extremely polite but very friendly and inviting. A wine list to say goodbye to you and an environment like a princess.

Beautiful setting, nice restaurant & bar with good food. Good breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was excellent (first floor large room). Cleanliness of the room could be improved slightly but not bad. Some street (pedestrian) noise on the first floor. Overall, a very pleasant stay in an interesting hotel.

We were with 8 people on the "highlight day" of Masstricher carnival on Sunday in the restaurant and spent a wonderful evening. It was just fine, from the attentive welcome, great ambience of the unique hotel / restaurant of the location, the qualified service staff and the food eaten. Great products, harmonious composition and arrangement. The corrosponding wines very well selected and presented. The price-performance ratio absolutely fine.
We certainly were not there for the last time and would gladly come back.

The hotel is definitely worth staying in for the architecture alone. We had dinner in the restaurant, excellent and very good value. The staff were lovely. However breakfast was very expensive and not good value. Also keep in mind you cannot park your car outside the hotel. They offer valet parking which is 35 Euros.

Tried to go for a drink inside at the bar with four other people. It seemed like the staff wasn't allowed to be friendly; greeting & smiling was too much for them. Taking an order as well; we sat there for 10 minutes, they saw us sitting, eventually even nodded at a waiter behind the bar and he simply refused to take our order. We eventually decided to leave, no response either. Not the first bad experience here btw. Shame on you!
