Excellent hotel. Friendly staff, super helpful concierge helping the best places to visit and getting around, room service top, 5 star restaurants and great comfort. Location far away in the hubbub of Amsterdam's Dam Square, at the same time near the Trams or Buses that take you everywhere. Highly recommend to all.

The hotel staff gave us a warm welcome (personalized word, fruit and macaroons). The suite was classy with a breathtaking view of the lake opposite! We also enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel

The hotel has failed with us. At the beginning we were told that our room was ready at 3 p.m. so in the end we were only at 6 p.m. because the room was not ready. In addition, there was always after the cleaning women there the room was tidied up but the things were totally messed around everywhere, and some things were damaged ....

We mainly chose this hotel as we were using Marriott points for our stay. They put us in a very average small room on the second floor right over the main entrance, not so good for Platinum Elite members. The room was dark and the bed was not comfortable at all, way too soft for our liking. The room had very uncomfortable chairs so sitting to work on the computer or read a book was not easy. The carpet was stained and coming apart. And the shower had no door so water went all over the main bathroom causing it to be very unsafe.

We would never stay here again and it is a good sized walk to public transit or areas with more restaurants.

Chic hotel close to the old town / center, Rijksmuseum and Co. Chic rooms, with a canal view, delicious breakfast, chic bar. Good address for a weekend trip, even if you like walking. Also parking and bike rental at or in the house.

Quick book in with a very polite receptionist, room 537 good size and comfortable. Everything you would expect from a business class hotel, double comfortable bed, nice bathroom, desk and free WiFi. Fantastic shower in the bathroom.

A little way out of the city centre but a 5 minute walk to a local tram stop will get you into the city in about twenty minutes.

Nice place. Door keys didn't work on two occasions. Smaller restaurant understaffed. Bartender was also the waiter, server and had to run food from the main kitchen. He did an admirable job though. I would stay again. No ATM machine as usual.

The hotel itself is very nice, with a boutique type of design. The bathroom was spacious and well furnished. The elevator made strange noises however and the French restaurant was very overpriced with a rather user unfriendly menu. The staff was fantastic, nevertheless. I would stay again but eat elsewhere.

Room was nice and comfy. Breakfast was excellent. View from dinning room but stunning. I would be very happy to end up here with this review. Unfortunately I had lots of problems with reception service. First, hotel staff couldn't find my company's card details so I had to pay with my private card. Than I had to ask for correct invoice twice. And at the and they charged me 50 euros more (as a security deposit) without any information. Luckily after few emails everything was sorted out. But still didn't expect such bad service for 218 euros per night.

Room Tip: go for a room with canal view, they seem to be nicer than ones with parking lot view

This place is just tops for the location, it's quiet and beautiful, only 5 minutes away from museums quarter by bike and lots of fun places to visit around.

Rooms are neat and spacious, good WiFi signal, but empty minibar kinda spoiled my mood when I checked in at 2 am.

Nice hotel, from the outside it looks a bit old .. on the inside it is super modern and actually from now on, you don't expect it at all!

The price for tea and coffee is something to be ignored, the experience is worth eating and drinking on the water!

Me and my friend were burgled at this hotel at the very first day of our stay here. All (!) money were taken right from the safe in our room and suitcase lock was completely destroyed. Hotel staff do not want to investigate the case and do not offer us any compensation claiming that this is not their responsibility - guests security is out of their responsibility here! You even can't feel safe in your room because as they say "the door to your room may be opened by force" any time.

This cute boutique hotel on the canal just outside the Central canal district is a great location. It is easy to walk, Uber, bike ride (bikes available), boat or Metro anywhere in Central Amsterdam. The rooms are modern updated and the restaurant is literally on the canal so breakfast can be had relaxing overlooking the morning canal traffic.

Speaking of breakfast, mine was included as part of my status with Marriott but it is well worth it as the Buffett is extensive. And the espresso machine is ALWAYS working!!

Enjoy the local park, Beatrix, just a short walk from the hotel or visit the Troost Brewery as your first stop- it s just across the canal and the folks are super friendly.

Enjoy your stay in Amsterdam!!

Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood, a little bit away from the hustle of the city. While the hotel is nice, they seem to get overwhelmed with tour bus crowds with the rooms taking a little bit to be available. Also, likely because it's a Tribute Property, don't expect much recognition for being Elite.

I'm an SPG Platinum and was treated accordingly as an "SPG Ambassador." Chose breakfast as the welcome gift, which is well worth it. Normal breakfast buffet with bakery items, fruits, yogurt egg station and some meats and smoked salmon. Was given the "best available room" upon checkin because of my SPG status, which ended up being a corner riverview room. Room is decent enough size with good view. Pillows were a bit small/square style, but when we asked for more pillows rectangle ones were provided. Location is good. Plenty of things within walking distance and close to the local trams. Maybe a 15-20 minute walk to the main museum area and maybe 30-40 minutes to the downtown/central part of Amsterdam. Also about 7-10 minutes to coffeeshops.

Hotel is very beautiful once you get inside, there isn't much decor on the outside. Rooms are nice as well and the bed is comfortable. The girl at check in was very nice and called after we settled in to make sure we were comfortable. Concierge was also great and helped us plan our day and where to go.

The hotel was right near to the local shops and the RAI centre was a short walk away which was convenient. I couldnot fault the service of the reception staff who were very welcoming and gave me allthe information i needed during my stay. The interior decorations were cery stylish also, especially the executive room i stayed at. Definitely recommend room 635 for the view!

The first time I visited this hotel, I had a very negative experience with the front desk during a late-evening check in. I was told a specific room wasn t available, when I could see on the Marriott app that it was available, and generally treated rudely. However, the staff during the day were so good natured (it was night and day) that I returned and had no issues...I was sure to check in much earlier, though.

Great stay. Beautiful funky interior, lovely view from the spg room, and great service from Claire, who left a handwritten note hoping I had a good time at the concert I mentioned I'd be attending. That little touch really made my stay, so props to Claire and the team at Apollo.

The suites have spacious, beautiful bathrooms with a deep tub and walk-in shower. The bed is also quite large by European standards, and the linens/towels/robes are quality. I would recommend the breakfast as well.

Nice location - we were staying at this hotel for a meeting. The room was large and clean, the bed comfortable, best with a view of the jetty. The staff was eager, the breakfast buffet was not special, no special selection, whole small fruit cups. The rest was organized with us. Parking fees at the hotel extremely expensive.

A laid back hotel in the inner rings of Amsterdam, the Apollo provides a relaxed atmosphere with its own closed off parking lot, as well as being in close proximity of supermarkets, restaurants, and public transit.

Stayed in a junior suite. It had one of the best views I ve ever seen from a bedroom...directly on the canal. The staff were wonderful. As a Platinum member, I called the front desk to see if they had any additional benefits, they said not officially, but give me a free drink anyway. The food on the terrace was amazing. I ordered a blue cheese sandwich with added Serrano ham. Also the Harbor Club Burger at the Harbor Club restaurant was spectacular. The gym is small but has Technogym equipment. One of my favorite hotels in a long time.
