It is a great place with an enviable infrastructure. The beauty of the well-planned areas, providing comfort and privacy required, the shuttle service with solicitous drivers, the attendance of the staff is impeccable. The beauty of the infinity pool and the view looks like a postcard.

To be clear, there are two ways to stay at Resorts World Bimini, either at the Hilton or as a direct guest of the resort in a condo (usually privately owned and returned by the owners to the rental pool). My family and I just recently returned home after spending a week at Resorts World Bimini, both in a condo and with two family members staying in the Hilton.

While I have been a user of Trip Advisor for years, finding the information here helpful and almost always accurate I never felt the need to post a review myself, until now. Resorts World Bimini should be ashamed at the product they are currently marketing vs. delivering. If you visit their website you are inclined to believe that should you visit their resort you'll be enjoying a lively, well maintained property with numerous pools, gorgeous beaches, friendly service and a happy environment. But upon arriving you are in for a heck of a shock!

The state of affairs is so poor that it makes me wonder how this property has managed to stay a Hilton flagged hotel. When you think about the Hilton brand you think about consistent and reliable 4 star experiences. Well, the Hilton at Resorts World Bimini is anything but. The property endured some damage over a year ago from a hurricane that produced water (not wind) damage due to storm surge. The result is water damage is evident in many of the common areas, with peeling wall paper, peeling paint, base board coming apart, etc. Think about the mold factory that must be hiding in plain sight. The reason why I mention that this occurred over a year ago because there has been plenty of time for a company like Hilton to get this mess cleaned up -- but they haven't!

The property is very, and I mean VERY poorly maintained. Everything from dirt and trash around the common areas, garbage all over the beach, lazy and disinterested employees, damaged marina facilities, damaged lighting with exposed electrical (creating a serious life safety issue), most of the facilities such as restaurants and shops are closed (it would seem closed permanently based on their appearance, chairs on top of tables and covered, etc), and the list goes on. The casino was only open a few hours a day and was generally a ghost town making it less appealing to spend time socializing or gambling in the space.

My family was looking forward to enjoying the beautiful pools at this resort, again, based on the pictures and information found on the company's website. What did we find upon arriving? The "Infinity" pool is typically closed with the restaurant there always closed, the Mega Yacht Pool is no longer heated because resort management refuses to pay to run the heaters, and the filtration is poor leading to dirty and cloudy water. Never once did we see anyone clean the pool area, meaning lounge chairs were left in the most disorderly way possible for days, and I presume months, at a time. There was no life guard all week, and no employee handing out towels. The hot tub at the Mega Yacht pool was so cold it couldn't be used, we were told that the hot tub leaks and management is not interested in fixing it -- the water apparently drains so quickly that it's impossible to keep the lines primed so the filters cannot reliably work.

The roof top bar is gutted at the pool looks like it was last maintained the day the hotel opened.

The ground floor Hilton pool was closed during our stay and was green. So can't comment about that space other than that it looked nice minus the green pool.

My entire family was so disappointed by this experience, I was embarrassed for having recommended it. It was expensive too. Next time I'll book my family at a well established all inclusive owned by a group that actually cares about the quality of product they are selling.

What a nightmare, avoid at all costs until management gets their act together.

Lastly, I have to wonder if the recent positive reviews are planted, This property deserves negative stars.

Not a lot to do, shops, or alternative restaurants in the island. Most businesses closed (allegedly due to some hurricane). You're subjected to hanging out at the Hilton, subject to some pretty exorbitant prices and its not very welcoming staff. Concierge is useless. Tram loading to the ferry very disorganized with people pushing and shoving to get in along with their bags. Ferri service OK.

This place has great food, great service and the people on the island are so friendly that you won't want to go home. The beaches are awesome, the water is pristine and it is a 2 hr ferry ride from Miami.

Are very slow with check-in & check-out. Room did not get cleaned. Room main entrance door was damaged and the room was also missing the main sliding privacy door that separates the restroom from the rest of the guest room.

Beautiful hotel with great views from 5th floor pool, some of the workers not so nice Jermaine from Tides restaurant is an awesome young man, Robert barman is great as well. If you go to Luna beach look for Chistine she makes a mean Bahama Mama better than the hotel bartenders. If you go into town avoid C Js the women there are nasty and rude go next door to Sherrys. Also visit Dolphin house, very cool place.

The area needs more upkeep. The pools were unattended leaving the bars and restaurants closed. The large pools fountain was off all weekend, while the walkways around the pool were cracked and in poor condition. Very few amenities to enjoy aside from visiting the Hilton.

This place does not belong in Bimini. I know it creates jobs but its like they took a hotel out of miami. They should have made it more like the marinas and restaurants in the abacos. Should have kept something like this in Miami. Keep the islands natural. This is bringing the wrong crowd/

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary last weekend. It s no Bahamar by any means! The hotel is very presentable from the outside but in the inside it just didn t meet our expectations. Escalators and bathrooms in the lobby were out of order. Our room was missing the entire bathroom door, decorations on the wall were falling apart and the lagoon had been completely drained with yellow caution tape all over it. The employees at the front desk extort tourist and are super rude. There s maybe 3 restaurants in the hotel and it all taste like theme park food at best! I expected a lot more out of this hotel. It just didn t meet my standard by any stretch. I don t think I ll be booking with them again. I did find some amazing rental places on air bnb

Tremendous laundry of twine. I do not complain about the laundry of twine anyway, I complain that they attend poorly. All rw services were heavy. They put people who are not suitable, I know it is cheaper labor for the laundry but please put staff with a few neurons that work.

Resort Hilton almost at the end of the island.

Resort Hilton almost at the end of the island.
The swimming pools close to the rooms with the docks for attaching the boats.
Bar inside the swimming pool.
Lobby with a big movement of guests going up and down.
Elevator available. Golf cars available for rent. Driving flow similar to England. Two main beaches in opposite directions.
Luna Beach is the best one.
Local restaurants with a variety of dishes with betters prices. Small groceries and liquor stores available.
Small casino close to the hotel.
Passport needed to enter and get out from the island. Very safe and quiet.

My wife and I are very disappointed in my recent stay at the Hilton Bimini resort. From the moment we arrived there had been a constant problem. We were promised connecting rooms at check in and then displeased to realize we were in completely different floors. The rooms were not in any condition I find satisfactory. There had been sand in our sheets without us have even stepped on the beach. Moving on, to our check out, we were told that our 200 dollar deposit would be refunded within 15 days and honestly we were still waiting 20 days after for our refund. When we called the resort they came with a conclusion that they took half of our refund and used it for resort fees without our consent, even though we had already payed this fee with the other couple we had booked with since they were charged our fee as well. Now, the other couple needs to resolve this issue and fight for the extra deposit they paid for. I m honestly disappointed and had higher expectations from a Hilton.

This place is awesome. The perfect jewel for such a small island , so tranquil and majestic , you forget the island is only 7 miles long. Don't feel like catching a flight, " no problem"! Jump in your boat , and enjoy the luxury of a mega marina . You have the option of parking right on the front door , Have a drink at the lazy river bar or, step inside for sushi at a world class sushi restaurant . Hilton at Resort World Bimini is a true diamond in the rock.

The 30% tax (12% vat and 18% on all food) is a bit much... $30 resort fees/day $70/day for a golf cart to go into the city for us to walk up order two pizzas and be charged $76!! BUT THAT VIEW and the locals at Joe's and Stewart's conch stand make it all worth it!!
