Misleading/misrepresentation,false

They had an open box item being ICON stage 1 kit for ram 2500. Pictures even should a kit and was describe as in new condition. Open box kit was $795 and purchased this. When arrived one shock only arrived. Not one phone number is a good number to talk to a person. Had to do online chat and requested a refund. Got an email saying it was approved for store credit. Hmm heck no, I do not ever wish to do business with American Trucks (Turn5) again. There ad was false and misleading defrauding the consumer myself. BEWARE

Seriously Stupid Reply To Problem With Headlight Condensation

I purchased a set of Axiom Projector Lights for my F150. Immediately after install, one of the headlights developed condensation inside. I reached out to American trucks for a solution to correct the problem. Their reply was priceless. See the screenshot of the reply. I will never buy from these buffoons again.

This has been the worst experience I’ve every gone...

This has been the worst experience I’ve every gone through with a purchase. I purchased the bumper and paid the extra money for the professional install. After the install the check engine light was on in my truck. I called the install company and was told that it was not their problem and that check engine lights can’t come on from changing a bumper. The owner told me that she did not appreciate me insulting her installers when I said "well it wasn't on before I dropped it off to you, so it has to be something related to the install. She then proceed to go off on me yelling at me and trying to give me a lecture about how she know how to run a business and she won’t tolerate being told her installers messed up. Which I didn’t say. So I called the install company, install connect, the company that handles the installs for American Trucks and had a new installer scheduled to resolve the check engine light issue. The new company told me that the original company did not install the wiring correctly and it was a hot mess. So they fixed that but did not know why the check engine light was on. So they directed me to my local Ford dealership. After waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, on April 20th, I got in and Ford told me the bumper is not compatible with the truck and that the only solution is to remove the bumper and put back on the stock bumper as it did not have the proper wiring harness or mounting brackets to install the trucks existing wires that have sensors for the engine. Because those wires and sensors are not plugged in, that is what is causing the check engine light to come on. So then I had to call back to American Trucks and tell them that we are missing a wiring harness and the parts needed to connect the existing wires and sensors on the truck to the new bumper. They said they didn't know about that and would have to contact the manufacture. I was sent an email the next day that the part I needed was being shipped and would arrive on the 1st of May. So I rescheduled an appointment with the installer for May 5th to have the new part put on to resolve the check engine light issue. On May 2nd I was sent an email that they needed me to tell them what part they needed so they could ship the product. Unbelievable! After 4 calls into customer service today May 3rd, to which I was hung up on and got no resolution. I then contacted customer service via online chat and as told the same thing, I need to tell them what parts I needed. So I again told them to send me any parts that are needed to connect the existing wiring harness to the new bumper. I will now have to cancel the 3rd install and reschedule. I still don't have a completed install almost 2 months later. Horrible experience! I would never recommend American Trucks!

Garbage

They sent the wrong product. After weeks of back and forth emails. They still only issued a partial refund, sticking me with a 30 dollar "handling fee"

Poor quality and service

$1600 in bumpers. Front came damaged twice and the rear is rusting in multiple spots after only 3 months. They refuse to exchange or be accountable in any way

Never again will I order from here. Customer service is a joke. No answered emails. Lies on top of lies. Got an exhaust and all the hardware was missing. Shipping says 3-5 days I didn't get my exhaust for 12 days. Email after email I got no answers till I had to threaten them to dispute the charges with my credit card company. After getting an email back finally they were going to exchange it for me they have yet to send the new one out. My original order went in 7-5-18 it's now 8-1-18 and I still dont have my exhaust.

Yes- open box deals are a bit sketchy. It's an OPEN BOX! The more its discounted the more risk it is. Most of the time however they will tell you the issues in the description ie "missing hardware, scratch, dent, etc...."

Small Print supposedly about POSSIBLE missing parts. I could not find it. I guess nobody there can read a parts list or count to 4. Bad business model. Told I was out of luck. For shame. Disgraceful. Received a damaged exhaust. Damage was only noticed by the install shop, after removing my factory exhaust. They could fix the damage but I would be paying the labor. I asked for money off my order, but AT refused and would only exchange the item, causing me to pay more labor to remove, replace, and reinstall the new item once it arrived. Not to mention, while shopping, they had NOTHING in stock. I was forced to go to 3rd and 4th options for several items. I will never work with them again.

My details are simple - This company has ZERO competency in customer service to the point of leaving you wondering how they are able to stay in business at all. We purchased a brush guard for our son on November 24, 2018 and when it arrived it came just by itself, no packaging and no mounting kit. I contacted American Truck right away and was advised they would send out the mounting kit and it would either be to us by the end of the week or on the way to us by the end of the week (maybe taking a week to get to us). Appropriate response to the problem and I hung up feeling ok with that. However, when the item didn't arrive in that week period and week after week went by with still no delivery, I reached out again and was told by another staff member that it was on the way but would probably be another two weeks....holidays and all etc....fast forward to today January 10, 2019, almost 2 months since we purchased the item and today I was told by yet another staff member that they just found out YESTERDAY - that sounds truthful, not so much... that this item (the mounting kit) is out of stock and they have no idea when they will have it in stock again. Wait??? How is that possible?? it's already been confirmed by 2 of your staff members that it's on the way! The response was "I have no control over the warehouse". Ok, who does? I'd like to speak to them. Would I like to speak to a supervisor? YES I would! After being on hold for a brief amount of time, I was advised that sorry but the supervisor is too busy to speak with me, they are short staffed now for about a month and maybe, hopefully, someone would call me back in 24hours! This is the kind of service we received from this company and this is what anyone who is thinking about doing business with them should keep in mind. So the end result as of today is that we purchased a brush guard we can't use because it came with no hardware and American Trucks response to the problem is that is not in their control and we are too busy and short staffed to address the issue. I reached out via social media to their CEO Steven Voudouris since I was unable to speak with him via phone...their corporate office for Turn5 in PA has an operator voice mail reply that says this extension can not receive messages at this time and their dial by name directory says there is no extension for the persons name I entered which was Mr. Voudouris's. This somehow doesn't come as a surprise...given my experience so far. Looking at other reviews, it would appear my situation with horrible service is not isolated!

We need to take a second and congratulate the owner of this company for winning the world neck beard championships in Pennsylvania this year. If the owner spent less time competing in neck beard competitions and more time focusing on customer concerns, the company would improve their ratings here. If you have been ripped off by this company, try reaching out to the manufacturer, have had some luck with that. When putting a review here, make sure you add one to the better business bureau as well. There are literally pages of them about this company. As well utilize PayPal protection if that was your payment method. They must have a full time customer service staff to deal with better business bureau complaints alone. It's brutal when you read the employee reviews on Glassdoor. If they treat their employees that way, not much chance of us being treated fairly either. Said it was 2 day shipping as well.... well 2 days later I still have no exhaust. Attempted to contact them to get tracking and they tell me to wait 48 hours to submit a ticket to
Figure out what s going on.... and then told it ll take another 72 hours. One rep will day one thing, another will say something else.

Order was advertised and promised to have "Free 2 day Shipping" and to have been at my door by Friday. I placed my order on Wednesday 3/21. and it is now Friday 3/23 (when it was supposed to be delivered by) at 11:49am EST, and it still has yet to even leave their warehouse.

I chose American Truck over one of their competitors specifically for the faster shipping, even though they were a little more expensive. The order was delayed, no notification was sent out, no update from UPS or American Truck. I had to take time out of my day to try and track down where my $1000 order went. When speaking with the first online chat rep, she was very friendly and trying to help me out, however as soon as her supervisor got involved, the who thing went down hill. They offered me $10 off of ONLY a future order. That's 1% of what I just spent with that company. I simply asked for a 20% refund (182.8 off of $914), since that was the sale price I had with a competitor. They denied that offer on my end. They continued to try and better their offer on ONLY future orders, with them, and then offered me 6% refund. I declined all of their offers because at this point, it was just disrespectful and the supervisor was rude.

Given the fact that I had cheaper options through a number of their competitors, I essentially wasted my own money to give American trucks my business. The disrespect and "offers" to make their results of "dropping the ball" on their end, "right" were just a slap in the face. Any company that isn't willing to take care of a customer that just spent close to a $1000 with them, won't be taking care of anyone, period.

There's plenty of places to buy truck parts out there with FAR better customer service and prices. Give them your business instead, your money is hard earned, don't waste it on companies that don't value or take care of their customers.

Customer sent me a link of the bed cover he wanted and I mistakenly purchased through this site instead of manufacturer. Came damaged called and was on the phone for two hours with no results. I went straight to the manufacturer instead who was very helpful and straightened the whole thing out in 5 minutes. TERRIBLE

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!! STAY AWAY! Ordered a part. A week later, I get a voice mail from "UPS Freight" - saying I need to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT for delivery. NO ONE told me that would be required AT TIME OF PURCHASE (and yes, I was talking to a person live on the phone from American Trucks to place the order.) So "UPS Freight" leaves a phone number. Was before 1:30 pm on a Friday. I returned the call within 20 minutes. NO ANSWER. Got a voice mail that said for me to leave info and they would call back. NEVER called back for the rest of Friday. CLOSED Saturday. Closed Sunday. NEVER CALLED ME on Monday all day. NEVER CALLLED me all day Tuesday. So I called American Trucks and said I'm cancelling the order/want the amount credited back to my credit card. They said NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you KIDDING me? And I NEVER got the item. We're talking over $750 !!!!!!!!!!!! After got off the phone with American Trucks (half hour of my time WASTED), made the appropriate calls immediately!!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

If I could choose 0 stars I would! Ordered a set of fender flares which arrived damaged. I notified American Trucks and they sent me a return number but no shipping label. I sent the package back at my cost of $250, which I expected to be reimbursed for. They have refused, claiming to have sent me return labels on 2 separate occasions...never received them! I asked for proof of these labels which they have not be able to provide. Instead, I am told they went out of there system to create the labels and can not provide the proof I am requesting...yet still no reimbursement. Instead they choose to send me a second set of flares which AGAIN arrived damaged. Sending these back as well for a full refund but still fighting the for the reimbursement. This has been a terrible experience. The customer support manager is totally incapable of handling this situation professionally. I have been mislead, lied to and ignored for the last week. I have also requested to have this escalated to a senior manager, that hasn't happened either. So no fender flares, and I am out $250 because American Trucks could not ship a product in acceptable condition in the first place. Take my advice...shop somewhere else.

I recently made a purchase from these folks and will not buy from them again. They sold me items under false pretenses and backed out after I received them. Now I am left trying to figure it out on my own or return them at my own cost. I ordered the ready to wrench service (which their website stated Was available in my area) only to find out it wasn t true after receiving my item. I am disabled and needed the install service which I explained to multiple people there. All of this after trying to reach out multiple times and waiting almost 3 weeks. Finally I got a refund on the service but am stuck with the item or pay out of my own pocket to return. Horrible customer service.

I was finally able to get in touch with someone and they told me I'd have to send pictures to the support email address....wouldn't you know it that address doesn't work and they won't do anything without me sending this email to a address that doesn't exist. At the moment, it seems I'm screwed out of a couple hundred dollars with no other successful methods of getting into communication with these folks. Just got somewhere else, it's not worth the gamble with this "company"

I have purchased an open box bumper with minor scratches.
When it arrived, it was just the bumper itself with the shipping labels attached to in no box nor protection whatsoever

and it was bent.
Knowing the open box policy, yet receiving a far more damaged item than advertised, I have requested a return which after many attempts it was approved under the form of a field destruction.
I've asked for clarifications and after many back and forth they've concluded that painting it with neon green paint would be accepted as an undesirable item.
I've complied, bought the paint did it the best I could yet they( American truck) find the images unsatisfactory thus, I quote Tia the customer service rep; " sir there is nothing I can do, sorry "
At all times I've requested a return label from them so they can get the bumper back.
Even if the bumper was in good condition I still would not recommend anybody to purchase any of those items because they are so flimsy so poorly put together it's going to be a waste of your money

Will never order from them again. Have ordered a brush guard and a set of running boards. The brush guard did not show up when it was supposed to. Took two weeks not the two days their website claims and couldn't get a answer where it was. The running boards showed up in two days but was a running board, as in only one was in the open box. Both times UPS did the shipping. Yes it's UPS that is more to blame, but when their customer service puts down it was damaged not missing then holds your $470 dallors until after they get the item back ( not like they have a tracking number they can verify its on its way with) I'm done spending my money with them. Customer service also fails to tell you once they start a return that's the only option to fix the issue. I drive trucks OTR and I wasn't home when the running board was delivered. I was not sure what all was missing from the box. Once my wife went through it and we realized it was just missing the one running board, I called and asked if it would just be quicker to send me the other running board and was told that was no longer an option. It was only a half hour later. So now I'm out my money until UPS gets it back to them. That is if they don't damage the box and loose the other one.

Honestly after reading the reviews on Google I am completely shocked at other people's experiences. I have ordered about $500 worth of products from this company And have not had any issues. Now granted these were all interior accessories. Floor mats for my F-150 and my Fathers, seat covers, tailgate damper but still shocked.

These seat covers are outstanding! The comfort and feel of them is amazing. It took about an hour to install the front and rear. Two items of note if installing in the 2015-2019 Ford F150: 1-The rear split bench seat (behind driver) WILL come down. Let seat up first, look behind the back of seat in top right corner. There is a release latch (small silver button) that you pull UP to release the back seat. Once released, let seat down and back will also come down. 2-The middle seat belt in the rear that is bolted to the floor behind the rear seat will have to be taken out (one black screw) to slide your new seat cover on, then screw the seat belt bolt back in. This allows a smooth fit for your rear seat cover. Installing the front seat covers was very easy and straightforward. Note: Do not mix up the headrest covers - keep front covers with front seats and back headrest covers with the back seat. Enjoy your seat covers. I have pictures that I will upload with a Google review.

I ordered running boards with brackets. I paid more for the boards with brackets yet I did not get the mounting brackets. The box looked as though it had been damaged in shipping. My wife texted with a rep named Karen who told my wife that they would send out the brackets. I have a bad back and need the running boards. After a week my wife texted Karen again and she told my wife to give it a couple of more days. My wife texted Karen again and she said that she looked it up and the brackets have shipped. After another week my wife spoke to different rep who was very nice and insisted that we misunderstood and must have purchased boards without brackets. After he looked at our order he insisted that we misunderstood Karen because they wouldn't ship brackets. My wife emailed him the transcripts of the texts, James said he was very sorry and he would try to get us brackets. Seven days later and still no word. I will not recommend this place for anything. It's a shame. I should have just shopped Amazon.

It has been almost three weeks since ordering and they have done nothing except try to charge me twice for an item I have not received. Also the box was destroyed when I received the bumper and I had to repackage the bumper at my own dime. What makes me even more nervous is the bumper had literally no protective packing in the box whatsoever except the ends where wrapped DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! THIS IS COMPLETELY GARBAGE COMPANY!

When searching for new bumpers for my truck I decided to go with the matching front and rear off road bumpers by Barricade. The front bumper was not in stock, so I requested a notification from them to let me know when it was back in stock. About a week later I got the notification that the front bumper was back in stock. I ordered both bumpers, skid plate for front bumper and few other items. I received all items, but my front bumper was missing... I was told it had shipped, then I was told it was damaged and then I was told it was backordered. I look back on the website to see if it was showing to be in stock and I couldn't find the same bumper. However I didn't find the same bumper rebranded as Bulken for several hundred dollars more. Now I'm told via email that the bumper is 8 to 12 weeks before shipping. I'm stuck waiting, because the back bumper has been installed and I'm sitting on a skid plate that goes with this bumper. Something tells me that I will never see this bumper because it's not even on the website anymore. I wish a real person with real answers would call me and discuss options.

Purchased Two products from here, American Trucks Windshield Banner as a gift. Seems to be a good product so far. Bought the barricade tailgate assist for my 2020 F150, product is made cheaply and started to damage my tailgate cable, the product also wouldn't extend to proper length. Website says they don't except returns from Canada, i will be going OEM and won't be spending another cent with this company

Not worth any rating the service sucks they can't get the part within a reasonable time frame and when they do tell you a definite date of shipping they can't even find the order being shipped but they will take your money within 24hrs. the star should be a minus.

I purchased a K&N breather intake for my 2015 ram 1500 Eco diesel. i read the reviews and it was supposed to increase horsepower and give the engine the whistle sound. I installed the item and I don't feel the horsepower but i definitely don't here a whistle. I contacted american trucks and asked my questions and they did not have any answers. i would think you should know the parts you are selling. I asked about returning it, and they said once its installed you can't return it and you have to pay the return shipping and a restocking fee. So hummm, how am I supposed to know if it works right if I can't install it? Every other auto parts out there you can can return product it it doesn't operate properly.; I stick to amazon, at least I can return it there and as long as I purchase from the right places I don't have to pay the shipping to send it back.

I will never shop here, or refer someone here. I should have stuck to amazon.

I will bet buy from them again and you should not as well. Now they won't even reply to my emails. Sad company.

Horrible experience buying rims from them. Sent me chevrolet rims for a f150. Promised to have the correct rims to me by Friday, didn't have ups pick them up till Thursday.... In California, for delivery the next week. In the end, I drove to Pennsylvania and just picked them up. Since it would be 2 weeks before I could get a refund. And was even asked if I had brought the incorrect rims with me before they would give me the correct ones, even though they already had acknowledged they had received them by ups. Will NEVER shop with them again.

Ordered a leveling kit for my Silverado. Price and shipping was very acceptable. Website description about product was it was direct fit for the truck with no issues arising. When mechanic installed the items, it was direct fit, with extreme bias. It capped out the control arm to the bump stop, the rear struts, and ball joint almost broke. A few minutes after install, the parts were then removed off the truck, cleaned as much as possible of the debris and sent back for return. Before this, I had made a phone call and asked what can I do, etc for some advice. I was told once installed you cannot send back. I found it very unfair, reason being, how was I supposed to know it would cause my truck many problems until after installation. And from what website said, I was not supposed to encounter those issues. So, I went ahead and requested a return label online and they sent it, I mailed the package back in. After a little over a week I had heard nothing and then the unimaginable, the package was resent back to my house from their returns department. They did not even contact me to speak about the situation. I found that to be very unprofessional. My family owns their own company, their number 1 concern is customer service, reputation is everything for them. This was handled very unprofessionally. My advice is there are MANY other website with truck parts, do your research on their reviews and then proceed. Goodluck. Shame on you American Trucks.

Bought a T532120 - Barricade HD Bull Bar w/ Skid Plate & 20 Inch Dual-Row LED Light Bar; Textured Black from AT and it arrived three days ahead of schedule. Installed it in about 2.5 hours by myself and it compliments the truck nicely. On the way home last night I tried the 20 inch LED's and "holy hell" they light up EVERYTHING. So far,so good.

Two months since i installed the Bull Bar/Light Assembly and it saved me a ton of money. I frequently am on back roads in my area and this area is known for its deer population. I use the lights on the back roads because they illuminate way in front and also the sides. These lights prevented me form hitting a deer saving a lot of body damage to my truck not to mention a dead or wounded deer.

Then I get an email from them stating that they no longer have the exhaust and they'll just have to give me a refund. The second time I decided to order a tonneau cover. It had arrived with 95% of the hardware missing and the cover arrived damaged. I contacted customer service and they said there's nothing they can do and I'm out of luck. Terrible company.

Horrible experience. Ordered mirrors and received 2 of the same thing. I should have listened to the reviews about them sending 2 of the same thing and not the other part of your order. Definitely won t be using this site anymore.
Also their customer service needs some improvements.
Called in to return order to get the right mirror. They won t expedite your order at all, even when it s their own fault. CS telling me they can t expedite my order because it comes from a vendor. Please... I work in logistics. You can drop ship anything from any vendor....ESPECIALLY when shipping UPS.

I ordered the wrong part because the manufacturer recommended the wrong part but American trucks did the right thing and took the part back and allowed me to purchase the correct part weeks later. They did the right thing without a spotlight. This company and Dan have integrity. I highly recommend this company.

I order a set of tail lights for my truck and after about 3 weeks of waiting I was told the item was out of stock. So I called and talked to someone to cancel and change the order and they said that they swapped out the lights for a pair that were in stock. Turns out that never happened and I ended up canceling the order and reordering the lights that they said were in stock..after a week I get the lights and BOOM!! They don't fit my truck. More specifically the BLIS hardware holes didn't even come close to alignment....all around horrible experience with this establishment

I absolutely would never recommend buying from this company!
I ordered three items from them, a cold air intake, fender flares and nerf bars. Two of the items came in a timely manner but the cold air intake was missing bolts and washer (easy fix). The second item, a set of fender flares was missing the entire hardware set. They offered to replace it (nice of them), but when it came down to it the hardware set was back ordered with no expected time for replacement. Third item was a set of nerf bars that got lost in shipping, we agreed on a cancellation and refund. All of the sudden 2 weeks later a package is delivered. I admit I was a bit exited but come to find out it was the wrong set of steps. Now I have to return the unexpected item before I can even see my refund!!!
This is completely unacceptable! Do not order from this company.
