This school is at the level of high school intended for those especially men who want to devote themselves to serving Catholics by becoming priests.

It is located not far from Magelang, Central Java. Right on the street of Yogyakarta Magelang, if from Yogyakarta it is on the left. Not far from the T-junction or the crossroad of the Yogya Magelang Borobudur.

The front yard is quite wide, especially inside. Complete facilities as with other educational places. There is a library, sports facilities from a soccer field, sports hall and others.

In this place, students are taught to be honest, disciplined and responsible, and have a healthy mind. Interested? Prepare yourself to be a servant of God.

Have lived here, tried to cultivate God's call for 4 years. 2005 - 2009. Life, not just school. That's why the process in seminary is called formatio, not study. A bit of a jerk, look at the review saying "good place for study" (ha brarti kw gojekan tok)

For junior high school graduates, the formation is served for 4 years. First year: First Preparation Class / KPP / Class 0, second year: Class X, third year: class XI, fourth year: class XII.
For high school graduates, formatio is served for a year, namely in the Upper Preparatory Class / KPA.

Each level of formation has a separate dormitory & class area called "Medan", which means "place" but describes a journey that is not easy (ex .: through steep "terrain", advancing to "battlefield" war).
First year: early 2000s, the name Medan Pratama, but now Medan Tamtama
Second year: early 2000s, named Medan Madya 1, but now Medan Pratama
Third year: early 2000s, it was called Medan Madya 2, but now it is Medan Madya
Fourth year: Main Medan.

The facilities are very complete, ranging from dormitories, teaching and learning facilities, music & orchestra, sports (soccer field - international standards cuy, basketball, futsal, volleyball, badminton, etc.) to the most special: spiritual guide.

For me personally, this Candradimuka crater is where Boss Brewok guides and forms me, repairing relations with the late. Father, and bring immeasurable blessings to my life and family.

St. Middle Seminary Petrus Canisius Mertoyudan Magelang, famous for the name Mertoyudan Seminary, is a house of formation for prospective priests. This is a place of education and self-formation of prospective priests established since 1912 in Muntilan by Rm van Lith SJ and Rm Mertens SJ under the name of patron St. Petrus Canisius.

Petrus Canisius deserves to be appointed as the protector of the Mertoyudary Seminary because he paid great attention to the education of prospective priests and founding seminaries.

During his life he has established 18 colleges, and composed 37 books. Through his sermons, he played a major role in helping to rebuild Catholicism in Germany. In addition, an important contribution that is noteworthy is his great concern for the education of prospective priests to support the building of the Church. This last thing is the main reason why Peter Canisius was appointed as the protector of Mertoyudan's Intermediate Seminary. His life and enthusiasm inspired many of the priests' education.

The atmosphere is welcoming. It has enormous spots center.

Schools with antimainsream education. Here is not only school about theory or learning but also living school. This school has good character formation. Although it is located close to the highway, the atmosphere inside is still quiet and cool because of the many trees.

I hope that I can enter this seminary when I graduate in 2 years. New class 8
