I have now tried 2x with 2 different cars to take out insurance via independer. The first time the model supposedly did not appear in the system and insurance was not possible. And the 2nd time I was rejected for unclear reasons. And that while my current insurer is never difficult.

A clear overview of which it is easy to choose. And then unexpected extra coverage and continuous support if you need it. So all in all much better than I expected. 100% sure that someday I will switch more in a different way than via Independer.

Only accessible via chat. Adjusting car insurance through their website is a disaster. After 2 hours I thought I finally found it and then it appears that they do not take VW Golf insurance. At ING it was so easy. Worthless shop Independer, very customer-friendly.

We have very unpleasant experiences with Independer. If you have damage, you can whistle for your money. You are incorrectly counted and agreements are not met. I advise everyone not to take cheap insurance through Independer because it can cost you dearly!

And if you try to explain this neatly then they just hang up in your ear, that's a waste of your time! Have to wait 6 hours for approval and then this.

We had to pay 195 for an insurance policy that costs 2.50 per month. These were hidden costs that were not clearly communicated. From these costs we could have paid the insurance 6.5 years. Customer service and compliance is lousy.
