The quality of service has a lot to be desired, I have experienced incorrect VAT amounts, wrong advice given and lengthy unacceptable delays in responding to communications despite repeated chasing, resulting incurring unnecessary additional costs. Avoid at all costs.
I wanted to use Boox as they were local instead of Crunch but the two reviews were odd it's way less than others and he reviews are easier to get then good ones. When I looked abit further both the reviews are by people that were employed by Boox, seems like blatant self promotion on Google reviews ...
So far i have had really good experience with BOOX. They are quick responding on emails and provide great support also over the phone. When ever i have had any issues they have been patient and gone through all the processes with me.
Used to rate them highly - but more recently they miss things, give poor or wrong advice and seem to be overloaded with customer enquiries. I switched to Gorilla Accounting. So much better.
Some of their staff behaves as if they are working for free. Rude and unresponsive to multiple emails. Paying more than the going rate and getting a second rated service. I'll be leaving them soon
The team at Boox go out of their way to make everything, from starting your Limited Company to understanding how to raise an invoice for a client, really easy. Justyna, my client accountant, was so patient when I seemed to find everything complicated. It's a real load of my mind now.
Hopeless. Literally paid to do one job and didn't do it. Got a massive fine from HMRC because they didn't file a tax return I paid them to file. Taking money for things they haven't done. Robbing cowboy outfit.
