I've used Young Subaru for a few different occasions. I've had parts replaced on my 2002 Subaru WRX, quotes of different things i want done and simple oil change service. Most recently i went in because i had a noise develop on a belt that had been replaced. Every time I've been in, my car has come out in much better shape than when i brought it in. Each time Nathan Kester has provided me with excellent customer service. No one likes car troubles but at Young Subaru they've helped me out and made my experience one that makes me want to come back any time i need something. Thanks!

So we bought a car there and it was in good shape. We get a call a year later telling us they would like to buy the car back and upgrade us. They tried to low ball us and make us go under on our loan because the value went down. We get a call six months later saying that they found the perfect car for us. They still wanted us to trade In the car. They said that they had options and ended up showing us one car that we didn't like and they never bothered to show us anything else. We went back because we thought the service would be better and they never bothered calling.

I went here to Young Subaru not sure which model I wanted. Jake Phippen was amazing in answering all my many, many questions and let me test drive several different vehicles to make sure I knew exactly what I wanted and what each different model could offer me.
A couple months ago, we needed to replace a car for my daughter that had been totaled. Nathan Walker was amazing. He worked with us to use the insurance money we had received and found a Kia Soul on another Young lot that worked perfectly for her. No pressure.... and felt like he was just doing all he could to make the experience great. We have bought 3 cars now from Young Subaru and always feel like we are being taken care of.

I found Young Subaru to be very thorough very patient and very professional in all aspects of my decision to buy a car. My specifics were it had to be a blue car and it's a beautiful blue car Subaru Impreza I am thrilled my dog is thrilled he was even comfortable with the salesman and my dog doesn't like a lot of people in general. Would I refer people absolutely my niece referred me so turned out to be an excellent decision.

Went in to look for a car that had sold that weekend, Quin helped me find a car that I fell in love with. I now live out of state and would still make the drive to Young Subaru and see Quin.
We purchased a new 2012 Forester and enjoy it's handling on our snowy and icy road. We have had a few issues with it and returned to Young's for service. I was disappointed when twice the initial reaction was to suggest that a warranty issue was our problem or fault. The matter was addressed and resolved, and our seat covers were replaced; however, after re-installation, the drivers power seat control failed to work properly. I made them aware of that and a replacement was promptly ordered. I felt that the technician should have function tested it and not left it for me to discover. Because it is a 75 mile drive from our home to the dealership, service calls are not convenient. Veronica Blake was pleasant to work with, but she too could have asked if we had snagged the seat cover with something rather than suggesting that it appeared that we had. There is a difference in exploring an issue and accusing or assigning fault. On a very positive note, I must mention that the facility is very close to a major shopping area and the shuttle driver will drop off and pick up, which allows us to make good use of our wait time. I will continue to get service from them and would recommend them to others, but there is room for improvement. 2-18-2013 - Today's service was excellent. The work was done promptly and very satisfactorily. Over all the work was prompt and any discrepancies are immediatly addressed, so I will say - Very Good.

The financing went smooth I had a preapproval and they did not pressure me to use their in house financing. over all a great experience and I would buy a car here again!
They don't listen to you and only focus on selling you a car for more than its worth. I asked to get preapproved and they never got back with me on how much i was approved for. Instead a salesman focused on selling me a car that was overpriced by 3,0000 that wasn't even certified. Will i go back? Never. They try to bring you down to their level and make you give in. If you like being manipulated come here. If not there are plenty of other better Subaru dealers nearby.

My husband and I used to highly recommend Young Subaru. Now we tell people to avoid Young Subaru and the Young Automotive Group. We purchased two new cars from them and had all of our maintenance performed through their service center. This since has stopped and we will avoid Young Automotive Group all together. The reason for the poor review after years of recommendations is because of issues that came up just this year.
- We took one car in for routine services at the beginning of the year, months later we took it in for a recall and left with a laundry list of major repairs like head gasket repair, replacing three running lights, oil pan reseal with level sensor, etc. This is the first we heard of it and of course our warranty just expired. The expense to repair was going to be thousands of dollars. We took this car to a Subaru certified repair shop for a second opinion and told them the issues Young Subaru cited. They were surprised at the repairs Young Subaru told us needed to be done. They said if the head gasket was leaking it was very minor if at all. The main issue was coming from the oil pan gasket, they recommended a reseal, but they didn't know why a leveler was needed. Then they said could not agree with the recommendation to replace three running lights, they confirmed one needed to be replaced but not three.
- Our other issue is with the sales, we needed to sell our other car with no known issues. Due to COVID there was such low inventory the year and make of our car could not be found anywhere in Utah. My car was in exceptional condition and had low mileage for the year, accident free, etc. Hannah from Young Subaru customer service/sales reached out and said her Managers were desperate to get a car like this and they tend to make a "very aggressive offers" to get this type of car back into their inventory. She wanted to schedule an appointment for an appraisal. I said I am only interested in scheduling an appointment if they are truly going to be "aggressive" with the offer. I scheduled an appointment through Kelly and when I got there no one knew about my appointment. They were able to locate someone to help me out. Their offer was on the low end of KBB, then they wanted to deduct $1200 for a cracked windshield, including recalibration of the EyeSight. I expected the crack to reduce the offer price, which I completely understand. I researched the replacement cost before my appointment and multiple reputable windshield replacement companies were going to charge anywhere from $500 - $600, including calibration. It is probable that Young Subaru has the calibration equipment and they can likely get the windshield at cost, yet they deducted twice the amount it would be to replace it on my own. It is a reflection of how off base they are with their offers. After a 5 minute conversation with the sales rep I left and never looked back.
We do owe a "Thanks" to Young Subaru for making a bad offer and motivating us to pursue a private sale, which yielded a significantly better result.
This is THE place to buy a new or used car. They really care.

When my GF's daughter called me quite distraught by the manner she had been treated at several SLC car dealerships-Subaru ones included. I knew there was only one place I wanted her to get her first car from a dealership. I emailed Bradlee and last Monday we all met at Young Subaru. Bradlee introduced me to Devon, the used car manager who introduced us to Jonah who helped us with the process of selecting a car. Everyone was immediately sensitive to the needs and concerns of a 22 year old woman buying her first car from a car dealership. She was immediately treated with complete respect and she felt very comfortable during the purchase process. I didn't intervene and just watched as she went for several test rides. Everyone was patient and fully explained things to her when she had questions. She was never once "pushed" toward one car or another. She chose her new car (a 2016 Subaru Impreza hatch) and the next steps were just as painless and easy. Pricing from Devon was perfect of her needs and Bradlee of course finished her purchase paperwork with a simple, complete explanations of each step. He [Bradlee] was even able to get her a better rate at her own financial institution than what she had pre-qualified for. Awesome!

Bought a 2019 Ascent from them. I was not impressed. They offered a decent base price, but they nickel and dime you on additions without keeping you informed of what they're doing. High-pressure, hard sell, not customer-friendly. I started with a good quote, but ended up paying more here than I was quoted for a newer model with fewer miles at Nate Wade. But I never got the chance to step back and compare final prices because of their aggressive sales techniques.
Then we noticed windshield chips the day after we brought it home. Young basically said "we didn't see them before you bought it" and they wouldn't replace the windshield. So even after we over-paid for the car with all these "extended warranties" and extra protection, they gave us the middle finger as soon as the first issue came up. So yeah, go somewhere else.
I have worked with Alex Weeks for a few years at different companies and he has always been great to work with. I was happy to hear he is working with Travis and the Young Automotive Group. Alex's customer service goes above and beyond and he really takes care of his customers.

I had been in an accident, was looking for a new car, and was tired of dealing with other dealerships. I looked up the car I wanted on their website, scheduled an appointment, came in, test drove, bought it. Kyra was awesome to schedule me in fast and was very accommodating to anything I needed at any time( including texting me answering questions super fast). Levi was the salesman I worked with and he was awesome. Super friendly and made the process really easy. I believe I spoke to their manager for awhile as well and he was also so great to work with to come to a price that worked for the both of us. The week that I bought the car, I got a rock chip in my windshield. I didn't buy any extra services and they covered that no problem. Two weeks later I needed sensors in my car, also covered with no cost to me. If you come here, ask for Levi!

If you are looking for a new/used car look no further. My car was on its last leg and I still owed 3500 on it. I know nothing about cars and was nervous about going car shopping and getting taken advantage of by a car salesman but then I went to Young Subaru and talked to a salesman named Kolby. He was awesome! He took his time and helped me find the perfect car for me with low miles and helped get me financed. I was even able to trade my car in and get some money for my trade and roll the remainder of my negative equity into my new car loan and stay at the payment I wanted. I am so happy with my purchase and will recommend Young Subaru and Kolby to anyone I know looking for a new car.

At first I had a hard time deciding whether or not I should trade in my current Subaru for a new one. I had the opportunity to speak with Cameron who let me know not only the pros but the cons associated with a trade in and getting me in to a new vehicle. (The honesty was definitely a big plus for me) He really opened my eyes to the possibility of getting me in to something updated and provided a great experience for me while I was there! This was a very pleasant experience. I came in later in the day on a Saturday (It s the only time I could ve came in) and Quin did an excellent job. They were able to do the best they could for the value on my trade-in which was something a nearby dealership just completely shot me down on. The car I wanted was sold just before I got there but he helped me find another one at another lot in the group. Quin even drove me there in a sweet new Subaru! (They are so cool by the way). I drove the Dodge Dart back to Young Subaru from Young Chevrolet and of course I liked it. We didn t get done with the financing till about 830 ( hour and a half after they closed) and it wasn t a problem for them. Quin didn t pressure me into buying anything else and I actually felt like a person and not a sale. I would highly recommend him to anyone that goes into Young Subaru!

Typical dealership. They dont bring up any of the final numbers so make sure you read every page they want u to sign. My trade in experience was awful. I had 5500 dollars left on my 2015 Crosstrek and traded it in for a 2017 Crosstrek. I am now 18,000 dollars in debt vs. 5,500. I should of never traded in my car. Jeremy the finance manager doesn't return any of my calls/voicemails. My first experience with them was great when I bought the 2015 Crosstrek but this trade in experience was an absolute nightmare.
I originally went in right before closing and they were still willing to help with my damaged tire. I stayed nearly an hour and I think because of the lack of people working they tried to rush and things were missed. Because of that I suggest going in earlier or waiting until the next day.
I noticed issues with the tire immediately after leaving but when I called after the weekend they were immediately willing to help. They replaced the tire for FREE and even loaned me a brand new Forester. I definitely plan to go back for servicing and any issues that may arise.

Didn't honor online price and tried push us to a different vehicle. Wasted an hour of our time saying "let me ask my boss" only not to honor the price. Find a different dealership there are plenty of subaru dealers here in Utah.

I was interested in purchasing a Subaru Outback because my friend had recommended for me to check out Subaru since he loves his new Impreza so much. It wasn't long after a little research that it was a no brainer lol. I went to Young Subaru and I was very surprised how nice and pleasant their staff was to me. I met my salesman Clayton Sunley and he was so helpful and friendly almost as if he was a friend that I had known for years. He wasn't pushy at all like I expected him to be. He helped me pick out exactly which sub model Outback with the accessories I wanted! Aaand they even had my first color choice in stock! :) We went for a test drive and he told me about all his Subarus he owned and I was very impressed with how much he knew about them. It was just a great experience. When we went back we discussed price which I already had an idea of what I was looking for (I'm kind of a haggler lol) ;) but this time it really wasn't needed. My favorite part of the whole experience was that everything that I was paying for was laid out for me and it wasn't rushed. I know I didn't get ripped off like what you commonly think of a car dealership. Everyone I met was super friendly and helpful! Now I just hit 3,000 miles on my Outback and I CAN NOT be happier with my purchase! :) Now I'm a Subaru buyer for life and I actually love and enjoy the car I'm driving now. For the first time I feel a connection to this car. Normally you only hear people making negative reviews about goods and services but I'm so happy that I just had to share my experience with you guys!
