I was really impressed with the service I received from Amit. He processed the intake of my computer really quickly and communicated efficiently about the need to order parts . My computer was ready faster than I expected . I used OOBE as my computer was still under warranty but I would happily pay for their services in the future.

Extremely rude and slow service. 3 weeks before they even assessed the computer (stating long queues) and another week to fix. Due to the lack of authorized Apple repairers I am switching to PC. Especially if I can avoid returning to OOBE Wellington.

I was really disappointed with the service I received at this store. I had updated my phone the day before and it was stuck on a boot loop. The lady working there told me that was due to the screen repair I had done the previous week even though the phone was working perfectly up until the update. She was adamant it was a problem with the screen even though I was positive it was a software issue. She blamed me for going to a third party to get my screen fixed (which had way better customer service) and offered only two options; either I get it sent off to apple for $240 to see what the problem was or to buy a new iPhone 7 for $600. She did not listen to me at all and insisted it was the screen even though she did not even look at the phone or ask any further questions about the software update. It felt like a money scam so I left immediately and sought advice in another phone repairs shop that was UN-AUTHORIZED by Apple. Here they told me how to correctly restore my phone by plugging into iTunes and it was so quick and easy! They didn't even charge me a cent. Sounds like Apple Authorized doesn't mean much nowadays.

- Now reading the reviews it seems like half of these are fake. It's beyond me why anyone would give this shop 5 stars. The lady in front of me in the queue seemed to get horrific service like I did.

Great service, couldn't fix it my phone so they replaced it no problem within a few days. They kept me well informed through-out the whole process through texts and emails. Highly recommend.

Booked via apple website for a battery replacement, on Tuesday, and I drove 2 hours to wellington on Saturday and was told ... "oh you booked from the apple site? look we don't have one in stock, if you want i can order one for you and it could take a few weeks" .......you gota be kidding me ? i thought i have booked and as per the email "You re all set. Your Apple Authorized Service Provider is expecting you." DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME

Id just like to say the big thank you to your sales rep Daniel, was very resourceful and helpful solved my iphone issues, customers service was 10/10 and had a response to a majority of question i had, definitely would recommend asking for him if your ever requiring apple product help

I only went to this store because they are an Apple-authorized retailer, and they do not have the expertise or professionalism I would expect from an apple store. They kept my phone for 2 weeks and made no repairs on it, and stalled repeatedly until I had to demand my phone back. When they returned my phone the display was discolored at the top, due to some damage they did while opening it, and now I have to take the phone somewhere else to get it repaired. Avoid this store.

DO NOT USE THIS STORE. I dropped off my MacBook to OOBE Wellington on 18 Feb to have an issue investigated (under warranty) and was told there was an 8-10 day wait for service. I waited 12 working days, then on 6 March started emailing and leaving messages daily asking for updates. I also used the online system to request updates. On 12 March someone finally answered the phone (no-one ever replied to my messages), 'found' my laptop out the back, and emailed me to let me know the job was now 'in progress.' On 17 March I emailed for an update with no response. On 18 March I went to collect my laptop from OOBE Wellington. They had not diagnosed the issue. At 9:30am on 18 March I took my laptop to The Apple Guy in Manners Street and they diagnosed the issue immediately. At 11:30am on 18 March I collected my repaired laptop from The Apple Guy. OOBE Wellington had my laptop for ONE MONTH and were unable to repair what turned out to be a 2-hour job. DO NOT GO TO OOBE WELLINGTON.

Japanese people, if your Apple product breaks, please never repair it here. Please return to Japan for repair. They paid it in cash, saying it was a software problem that cost $ 250 and could only be paid in cash. Furthermore, the personal computer itself wasn't cured, and it was still broken, so I asked you to see it again. It was nice to have a receipt at that time! After all, the cause was a hardware problem. Then cash should come back! However, no record was recorded anywhere, and the person in charge was retired. If I didn't go to get a receipt at a later date, I would have been crying and falling asleep with no evidence! The next morning, the person in charge contacted me and asked me to return the cash at the supermarket. He committed a crime! The Japanese are foolish and I think they can be easily deceived! be careful.

Great experience! I ruined my Mac and staff in OOBE help me repair it and retuen it to me in 3 working days. They are very friendly with patient and provide excellent communication via email.

Took an apparent mint condition iphone x in to have sent off to apple for warranty repair on screen and they refused to send it unless they could mark it as physically damaged after they found a 1-2mm chip in very bottom of screen. They told me that I would without doubt be charged for the repair when apple recieved the package. Thinking that was incorrect I contacted apple directly. They sent me a box to send them the phone, the screen was repaired under warranty and returned in a matter of days. Very dishonest store, would not recommend to anyone.

I was looking to replace my iMac and was impressed with the level of knowledge and effort made to explain the range of functionality between models. Rather than up-selling they took the time to establish what my needs were. I brought in my external hard drive and they uploaded everything very promptly to the new iMac. i would have no hesitation in recommending this store and its staff from my experience with them.

First, it would have been nice to have some kind of warning that the store isn t opening at normal times. I showed up at 8:30 to see a notice that they re not open til 10. Nothing on the website, nothing on google.

Then when i finally got my product back I found out they broke my case and didn t think to check, luckily I d gone through Apple so I made a complaint. Not using these guys again, ever.

Booked in for IPhone 8+ screen replacement as they are a authorised apple retailer. Handed it in and the worker told me one week - I said that was fine and thought nothing more of it. A week later I go in to pick it up and a new worker tells me no it s not a week it is 5-8 working days. Even though I m annoyed, I say that is fine as it is a Monday and he says it will be ready Thursday. Wednesday I decide to call first to make sure (they have a online job tracker which he told me wouldn t work for my job - waste) the worker tells me that 5-8 days to be looked at not including repairs and that my phone is still in line and hasn t been looked at. Once phone is looked at then repairs are only 2-3 days. Annoyed again as my initial answer was a week I accept that and am happy that I haven t gone in store to be told that. I then get a quote 2 days later that my screen replacement will cost $853 which I decline and ask to pick my phone back up - I receive the phone 16 days later from drop off with a $59 bill just to get it back the way I dropped it off. That same day I took it to a different place where the screen was fixed on the spot for $500 cheaper. Ultimately a useless company who s workers lack communication skills and systems that are a waste of time - will not ever go back there for anything (if I could click 0 star I would)

I order a MAC Bluetooth Mechanical keyboard and I was supposed to pick it up from the Wellington branch. I sent a couple of emails to them asking when my order will be ready but they never replied to me. The original eta was 2 days, but I ve been waiting for 18 days now. Today the called me saying that the keyboard was ready to pick up. When I arrived they said that they didn t have it anymore as they sent it to my address, even when I explicitly said that I didn t need that.
They have a lot of communication issues.

Spammers and lousy service. Replacing my iPhone battery took 1.5 years: took many emails, calls. Lost my paperwork twice. Then added me to their mailing list, which is illegal in NZ. I now get monthly email. Lastly unsubscribe fails. If you get spam, google DIA spam, and complain.

Brought Beats Solo 3 from Spark, 11 months later the hinge broke, rang apple care they told me it was an issue with manufacturer and to book an Job so i picked these guys, cause they were closer, come in hand my headphones in first thing he said was "these are not covered under wty" told them Apple care told me they are and i have chat logs .. the sale guy said "apple care can give out false information, - if i didn't challenge it. i would still have my faulty headphone - but it looks like its been replaced with a new pair....... not coming back to these people for anything was looking at getting the latest beats too and pass these to my partner already told my workmates about it word of mouth goes a long way...

Oobe is a mixed bag. It would be great if they were more open and up-front about the fact that a battery replacement takes half a day there when their competition do it in half an hour.

The store attendant at our visit was also much more interested in reiterating the store policy than to provide good customer service. Luckily he was overruled by his colleagues and I was allowed to pick up my underage son s phone without him being there after having presented photo ID and email correspondence with my son.

He looked at the iphone, and discovered that a particle was lodged in the charging slot. He removed it and then allow me to stay in the store for an half hour while he charged my phone. He did not charge me for the service despite my strong insistence that I be charged

7 October 2017 10:00am. Had a known camera fault on an iphone 6 plus that is covered under warranty. He didn't want to check to see if the part was in stock because they were not doing repairs on a Saturday. Said it could take a week to do but if I paid him $50 he would do it same day. I asked what the extra $50 was really for. He told me other customers would have to wait longer for their phones to be repaired. Later found out it is a 30 minute repair. I consider the salesperson condescending and a charlatan.
