This hotel and location are beautiful! We stayed in a corner suite with 5 of us. We had plenty of room. Husband and I enjoyed our private bedroom. 3 kids slept in the main tv area. 2 girls on the sofa sleeper and had a roll away brought in for our son. We enjoyed being outside most of the time. There is a nice park just down the road with swimming, play ground and kayak rentals. Also jet ski rentals right out front of the hotel. Several eating options and starbucks across the street. Room service was delicious as well. Really a great place! Will not disappoint.

I visited Beach Cafe for happy hour in the bar. I was shocked at how bad the service was. I frequently needed to walk to the bar to get service. I had four different servers who said that they wanted to take care of my table, they would take an order and forget us. I am sad that such a beautiful spot does not have five star service.

Great staff catering to your needs, friendly area and beautiful scenic view! Shopping nearby by foot, gorgeous waterfront walk, beautiful view and great little town center within the complex. 5 star!

Still Spa Review (only)

There is a lot of little details about the spa that I personally believe lower the overall experience of the spa. The women s locker room has a beautiful cedar sauna for use but there is no drinking water anywhere in the locker room. If you want a cup of water you have to get out of the women s locker room and walk all the way to the relaxation room (30 ft maybe) but still a lot of work for a glass of water or to refill it. There is also no visible extra towels, you have to ask the receptionist and then she shows you they are in one of the personal lockers (unmarked). They have a lovely rain shower, personally I had never used one like the one here. I could not figure out the temperature and there was not instructions anywhere in the locker room.

The water drinking station in the relaxation room (which is behind a curtain) has tea selections, tea cups & sugars but no hot water. If you want a cup of hot water you need to ask the receptionist which she was nice enough to get but the front desk is at the entrance to the spa (obviously). The entrance has a large door and windows (not tinted) to a busy waterfront street. Personally i don t like walking around in my robe just to ask for a 6oz cup of hot water (tiny cup). Also since the receptionist is the only taking drink orders (yes she also gets the champagne) she isn t always at the desk. When we arrived to the spa it took 5-10 minutes before she greeted us.

The relaxation room is a shared coed experience with a tv fireplace. It has 4 comfort chairs (each corner of the room) and 2 smaller chairs ( uncomfortable chairs). If you want to enjoy the experience with someone by sitting next to them one gets a comfortable chair and the other does not unless you sit across the room. The fire place looked like a gas fireplace that should be admitting heat but it didn t. The women s locker does not have even one relaxation chair if you did not want to take part of the coed experience.

I got a Bliss massage they had 4 options of aromatherapy. I thought all options were great. I always requested medium pressure at all the places that I go and my massage therapist did great at keeping the pressure. However she did not properly uncovered me when I turned from stomach to back. She uncovered me standing over my head. I also thought the room was personally to cold and when I ask for more heat she said it was at the highest.

My friend got a deep tissue massage and when she entered the room and told the therapist she wanted a firm deep tissue massage the therapist told her that she needed to inform the front desk. We are not sure why since that s exactly what we had reserved and when filling out the paperwork she had also requested firm on the form. Either way the therapist came back and my friend felt the massage was not firm enough(verbalized it too). My friend mentioned that the therapist talked the whole time which was not her preference. Her therapist also uncovered her inappropriately around her hips.

Overall I think I had higher expectations for this spa based on price, location and that it s attached to such a lovely hotel. I know that there is worse spas out there but the quality this place is trying to achieve is lost in the little details and it s hard to relax when the little things add up. I personally would not recommend it.

Great place to stay in Kirkland! Right on the water and surrounded by restaurants and shopping. It was awesome that I was given a glass of champagne at check-in and the staff was super friendly and helpful with local things to check out. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again! Only 30 minutes from downtown Seattle.

Located right on the lake with proximity to restaurants. 20-minute walk from Kirkland downtown. Good service, e.g. champagne on check-in and chocolate in the room. Daily change of towels. Overall, very positive experience. Good for romantic stay, especially in a room facing the lake.

I was looking for a weekend getaway hotel. Something approximating a lodge in quality but for few hundred bucks. This place for the bill.

If you look at pictures of the exterior, you might think this place looks dated. Don't let this stop you. It's really quite luxurious feeling on the inside.

They provided body pillows in my room because I was pregnant, they were there waiting for me. It was so nice to have my needs met without having to ask. Clean, quiet atmosphere with beautiful views.

Attended a holiday party for work in the Marina room. Hors d'oeuvres were okay. Dinner was buffet style and all the food was excellent. Alcohol was plentiful and selection was good. There were casino games and a DJ. Overall good service and excellent venue, although considering the number of people attending there should have been more sitting tables, which could have been moved out to make room for casino stations.

The spa is tranquil and the staff that work there make the experience unforgettable. My 90 minute massage was by far the best I've ever had and I loved being able to take home some of the custom made lotion made in house, right in front of me. There's also champagne and chocolate covered strawberries offered in the waiting room before and after the massage. Such a treat!!!

The Woodmark is a beautiful hotel full of luxury amenities while still maintaining a homely feel. Its like a 5 star bed and breakfast with the capacity and facilities of a grand hotel. Rooms are elegant and comfortable with all the amenities you'll need right in your room. Beds are soft and pillows are plush. The bathrooms are beautiful and clean and have some of the softest towels and robes you'll find. Onsite restaurants are excellent and free access to the onsite gym exceeds expectations. The hotel has gorgeous views of Lake Washington with free kayak rentals for hotel guests. Their late night 'raid the pantry' is a unique and welcomed perk. This hotel is perfect for business stopovers, small conferences, weddings, or a weekend getaway. I've stayed at thousands of hotels around the world and the Woodmark is on the top of list of my all time favorites.

The location is conveniently close to Google and next to a beautiful water view. It's clean, somewhat secluded, and convenient. I have not partaken in the services because I am a poor college student, but I'd like to come back later to use the spa.

My best friend and I went on a girls getaway and chose the Woodmark and it turned out to be a great decision. We are both coming back with our husbands as soon as we can. We almost gave them five stars except for one glaring fault. Let me explain... Booking was easy and the staff helped us get exactly the suite we wanted. We booked a month out and made several changes along the way with no attitude at all from the staff. The hotel spells out their reasonable costs at every step of booking so no one should be surprised by the fee's and parking costs which is common in the industry. And the Woodmark gives you more than most for their amenities fee. Coming in the valet and bell service is exceptional. Prompt and the same person that parks your car hops your luggage. I always like that you're handing your belongings to just one person. At check out they have your car waiting for you as the same person takes out your luggage from your room. We got a glass of champagne to sip while checking in and it's more like a personal concierge than a check staff. The room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious; with gorgeous views of Lake Washington. The bed was more soft than I like but still nice. And you can pick what kind of pillow you like. We took advantage of the spa for massage, pedicure, and manicure. Other than only one bathroom at the spa it was a wonderful experience at a fantastic price. We enjoyed the staff immensely. Included with your stay you can get shuttled around Kirkland and Bellevue (with in 5 miles of the hotel) in their very fancy suv with a knowledgeable driver. Free late night snacks, a library for relaxing, and a whopping 3 restaurants on the premises. Let me recommend the french toast and a very hot pot of coffee from room service for breakfast. Best french toast I've ever had and the coffee stayed hot in the carafe for hours. The beach cafe's food and cocktails are superb. We especially enjoyed the crab cakes. Yum! Sadly the glaring down side of the house keeping and maintenance of the hotel. Both handles of the two toilets in the suite were broken and you had to hold down the floppy handle to flush, there was absolutely no light at all in the dining room. We had to move a floor lamp out of the bedroom to have a light. The deck was so dirty you got grime on your feet if you didn't wear footwear and spider webs covered everything and in every corner. One cabinet door actually fell off in our hands and there was no microwave with the mini coffee/refride area if you like to warm up left overs from room service or meals out. Sorry Woodmark but you really need to talk with your house keeping and maintenance staff. The little things like this do matter when you're staying in a higher end establishment.

This is a very nice hotel and spa in an awesome location! I mean awesome. Our company holds an annual event here so I have been multiple times and stayed the night. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is that it has gotten a bit tired. It is ready for an update. In addition it's a bit a ways from anything in the Seattle area. You need to cross the bridge for Seattle and most of what one would come to Seattle to do.
