Good location in Seattle and the hotel is very nice. If you can avoid it, I would not bring a car as it is expensive to valet it and if your just checking out the city, you won t need it.

Typical overpriced big city hotel - the rooms were nice, but nothing amazing, and the restaurant is extremely expensive when looking for breakfast fare. We spent $30 per person for essentially a continental breakfast that is free at most lower-priced chain hotels. Couple that with the curdled creamer left in my room, and the cost of parking, even for guests, and I'd say you're much better off staying somewhere else.

This hotel is is a good (not great) location for exploring the city. The accommodations are great the room was very clean the and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. I was able to walk to everywhere I wanted to go, but on my next visit I might try to stay somewhere a little bit more centrally located. I didn t eat at the restaurant or drink at the bar, so I can t offer any recommendations there, but it s a short walk to Pike Place Market.

Everything was clean and well taken care of. The staff was very helpful and friendly, too. The hotel is on top of the hill from the waterfront so it could be an issue for people with mobility difficulties.

Pros: The rooms are clean, and they have great TVs. The lobby is calming and the staff is always friendly. Across the street from the Courthouse and the library.

Cons: Wi-Fi is not free. The beds are weird, sit on the edge and the springs collapse inward half the time. The rooms are nowhere near soundproof; we could hear our neighbor's kid having a tantrum and the sirens and construction outside. The bathrooms are lacking for a lux hotel. It's about six blocks to the convention center down a pretty steep hill. Housekeeping comes around ridiculously early.

I went due to a society event for school. I am doing this review through Google opinion so I haven't completed my trip yet. However, they did let us get some rooms early and there have been no negative experiences so far.

Nice location but beds are too small. I asked for a rollaway bed and was told no because the room was small. Room service came by early and was supposed come back at a later time with new towels but never did. First time and last time staying here.

I knew id get in trouble if I proposed in a public place so I tried thinking out of the box and ended up out of town at the Renaissance. I had flowers delivered to the front desk and the hotel discretely kept them cool until I had a chance to prep the room. The hotel staff was excellent at dealing with my special requests and not giving the surprise away. In the end she said yes. Also, the location was wonderful and you can easily walk down hill to the core shopping district. I'm sure we will be staying there again. Thank you so much!

Clean and stylish. The library themed lobby is a little overdone. Was here for a conference on the 28th floor. Conference accommodations were very nice and what a view we had. I was day use only so did not see the rooms.

No hot tub, no pool, no breakfast, Internet is $12/day, parking is $40/day. The bed was moderately comfortable. The parking garage had some extra mattresses sitting around, which might come in handy if you're stuck in the garage after paying $40/day to park there. Why is this a 4-star hotel?

We loved staying here. It was very centrally located and just 15 minutes from the airport. The service was amazing from check-in to check-out. I'm a Marriott Gold member and the Club Lounge was fantastic. We have our 1 year old boy with us and one of the hostesses working in the Lounge went out of her way to get him a high chair and bring him a banana. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

The service was awesome. Everyone on the staff was kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and the food was very good. The beds, however. Horrible. My entire group woke up multiple times throughout the night complaint of back pain. The mattresses were extremely hard. The hotel tries to make up for it with the soft bed linens, but alas. It's like sleeping on the floor.

The hotel was absolutely great. The hotel staff were so kind and helpful. The rooms were very nice and room service was very prompt and the view from room at night on the 18th floor facing the East was stunning. You csnnsee galf if Seattle moving at night.

Terrible! I spent 2 nights at this hotel, while on business in Seattle. While I was running on treadmill at 5:30am, I was approached by a hotel staff person and asked to cease running because the guest(s) in the room directly under the gym was complaining about the noise. I am 5'3" and weigh 120lbs. Other gym users were awed by the request. When I complained to the front desk, I was advised that the manager would be made aware of the incident and that I would receive a telephone call. I have not yet been contacted.

In addition to this incident, there appears to be problems with people being given rooms on the "freeway-side" of the property. Apparently, the freeway noise is bothersome to hotel guests. This issue has been identified on other review sites.

I do no recommend staying at this property. I will not stay here again.

Very very nice hotel. Clean, quite. Staff are respectful and efficient. Club upgrade available with buffet style breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and desserts. I stay often and recommend the upgrade if you feel like you are always on the run and then stuck waiting for a table.

Staff are all so friendly it's almost unbelievable. Beds are comfy, rooms are modern and clean. We had breakfast at one of the restaurants (fig and the judge) which had suprisingly reasonable prices with good portions including your own coffee carafe ... (You know the way to my heart!) Hotel is in a great location near the library and easy to walk to downtown sites. Wish the parking was a bit less steep given parkade is open to public but it's comparable to nearby hotels and you can leave your car until 6 the day you check out which is great for getting in a few last minute sites. If it had a pool it would be our go to all the time! Definitely feel it's one of the most over looked and under rated hotels. Give it a try!

Great hotel in the business district. Although it's next to the highway, you really don't get the highway sounds. It's also adjacent to the famous Seattle public library. The rooms are spacious and in great shape. The concierge lounge is beautiful with a stunning view. The food is on par with other Rennaissance hotels. Good staff. The gym is really nice too.
