I was thoroughly impressed with this bridal shop! Definitely going to recommend this place to everyone I know!!

Had the most amazing experience with our consultant Stacy. I traveled about four hours to this particular location to try on a certain dress (they were the only boutique in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana & Tenn to have this particular dress to try on.) I am a regular women size 10, however this designer is known for making dresses very small, so although the dress I tried on was nowhere near my size, our consultant made my experience amazing and really made me feel great and have a good idea as to what my dress would look like on me. I felt so included, I went out to try on other dresses at a place down the road and when I came back they let me try on the dress again before purchasing. The customer service in my opinion (from someone who has a high end retail background) was above and beyond.

What a Absolutely Beautiful Boutique!!! The Wedding Dresses to choose from were Awesome and there was so many to choose from!!! The Young Lady with long dark brown hair is the one who helped my Daughter!! She was Very Nice and Patient with All of Us!!! She was very thorough with each dress we were interested in and especially the one we bought and all the paperwork!!! We also got a big discount on my Daughters dress with the PERMITION they had going on at the time!! Her dress don t need much alteration but we re also getting that done there for a small fee!!

Literally every single dress in White Lace & Promises is so gorgeous! There is no way you can go in there and not find the dress of your dreams. Rebecca helped me during my appointment, and I could not have asked for anyone better! (Even though everyone there is super nice and helpful). Rebecca helped me stay within my price range. She saw me looking at a dress that I was about to just leave on the rack without trying on, and she said, "That dress is so pretty on!" So I decided to try it on. I had picked out several dresses but decided to try that dress on first. I was instantly in tears and didn't even want to look at any of the other dresses I had picked out because I knew this was THE ONE! I was set on not wearing a veil because I didn't think I looked good in them, but she put one on me that was as long as my train on my dress and I fell in love with the whole look! I wouldn't have found my perfect wedding dress without Rebecca! I would definitely suggest White Lace & Promises to every bride!

I had the best experience in the store. I walked in with no appointment & the girls greeted me with smiles and quickly began to find out how they could help me. They showed me through the salon and gave me helpful insight on the designers they carry. Their dress selection is beautiful and the store was so clean. I had visited other stores in the area and this was by far best. Once I found the perfect dress, they did a special cupcake ceremony. My consultant was very knowledgeable and helped me through the whole process. I love that they offer alterations as most of my garments need to be altered. My seamstress was very knowledgeable and she altered my dress perfectly. I had even lost weight while planning and the seamstress made me feel at ease about altering it to my size. I visited close to 15 different bridal boutiques from Nashville to Bristol and everywhere in between before FINALLY deciding on "the dress" at White Lace and Promises. I actually visited White Lace two different times before making my final decision, obviously I am very indecisive and thorough in my decision making. However, all of the staff members were super helpful and did not put pressure on me AT ALL to decide on a dress or even to buy from their store. I was there for 2 hours the second visit deciding between just 2 dresses, and they were so incredibly patient with me. They even stayed after closing time to finish the ordering process. Chasta was the sales associate that helped us both times we were there, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding dress. The quality of their dresses, the amazing customer service, and the lovely atmosphere at White Lace create a perfect bridal boutique experience.

I cannot say enough great things about White Lace & Promises. They've got the best selection in Knoxville. My consultant was Debbie and she was wonderful. I told her what I was looking for and she basically just brought "the one" to me to try on. Her expertise is like none other I've experienced at any other bridal shop I visited. The experience was flawless from the moment we walked in the door to the purchase of the dress. A+ on all levels.

I went to a few different bridal boutiques, but when I walked into White Lace and Promises, I 100% fell in love. My mother went with me and they made us feel SO special and everything was high quality. Everyone there was extremely sweet and encouraging. I recommend this bridal boutique with my whole heart. I have to say, I was not excited to go dress shopping. I thought I'd love the experience but after going to a few stores with no luck, I had a bad taste in my mouth. My consultant there, Debbie, could sense it. I AM SO GLAD I CAME HERE! she was amazing, made me feel comfortable and eased all my anxiety. Theu had great clips and a pedestal so that the dresses would look good even though I'm short and very petite. I found a dress but wasn't completely sure. I felt no pressure to make a decision. I ended up coming back and tried on the same dresses as before. Everyone was helpful and great. Can't wait to go back for fittings! Thanks WL&P!

This bridal shop is really beautiful, well organized and all around top notch! They had a great selection of plus size dress, which you can't find just anywhere. It makes a curvier bride feel included in a world that sometimes overlooks us, so I really appreciate that. My consultant was Sheri and she was so welcoming and fun... the kind of gal that makes you feel comfortable like you're shopping with a friend. I was really impressed with her ability to wrangle those dresses and efficiently get you in and out. Haha! I would recommend any bride visit this shop for a really great experience.

This was my 1st time wedding dress shopping and it was everything a woman dreams of when choosing a dress! I had Tori and she was so sweet and understanding and made everything seem so easy going! I was able to say "yes to the dress" even as a plus size bride and I couldn't have had a better experience!

White Lace and Promises offered amazing customer service! I was fitted into an appointment last minute, and still had one on one attention through the entirety of my stay with a stylist. Everyone was so welcoming, positive, and helpful. After visiting several boutiques, I decided to stop my search for a bridal gown at White Lace and Promises. Also, Sherri was excellent to work with. She had such a happy personality and offered great input when helping search for a gown. Thank you all!

I LOVED that WLP offers high-quality bridal separates. I found my dream dress there. I did experience some confusion about ordering and alterations during the whole process (my misunderstanding), but when I asked, the owner took time to look in to the questions I had, responded quickly, and had great answers. My experience at White Lace & Promises was amazing! My mom & I had been to every store in Knoxville & I was convinced I would never find one. When we walked in I immediately felt welcome by everyone & there were so many dresses to choose from. Chasta was who helped me, she made my appt so fun & relaxing. Love Love Love!! Best experience ever. I'm getting married NYE, and we needed to find a dress off the rack in less than 9 days. We found one in 2 days. Its beautiful!! And with the donation to their charity for the holidays we got 20% off the dress!!! The original off-the-rack price was 850$ but with the discount it was 680!! Perfect for a bride like me on a budget. The staff were amazing and made mom and I feel right at home. Perfect place, I didnt wanna leave.

I would love to have another wedding, just so I could buy another gown from White Lace and Promises! Their service is exceptional. I needed a dress for a family wedding in a specific color, a modest style, and an uncommon size. The saleswoman knew exactly what I needed, and ordered a dress that was just right. The seamstress, Kamesha, is delightful, and a true professional expert. The entire staff is outstandingly friendly, competent, and easy to work with. And, they are up front with you about all the costs, including alterations- no hidden fees, no nasty surprises. The prices are very reasonable considering all they give you. If I ever need another formal gown made, I would eagerly go straight back to WL&P.

Walked in didn't get a high hello can I help you, little blonde said we close in a hour an a half.. an I don't have anyone to help you right now, even the ladies that came in right behind me, got the same storyline. We Walked out an will never go back. If I'm gonna pay $$$$ for a dress it won't be at white lace & promises! An the ladies that walked in behind me I'm sure felt the same!

My family and I absolutely loved our experience at White Lace and Promises! The staff made us feel so welcome and comfortable! My consultant Debbie was very helpful, patient and kind! It was my first time trying on dresses, but I had an absolute great time! I would recommend WLP to anyone. The dresses were great quality with great prices! My daughter just got her dress here and then the bridesmaids dresses. I have been very disappointed with the customer service. My other daughter got married last year and we couldn t have had a better experience. Whatever happened between then and now has NOT been for the better. My daughter works with brides herself and has said she will not brides to White Lace. It has caused a lot of unnecessary stress. I will say about the only positive has been Kaylee. We had a great time with her.

I had appointments at a couple of other bridal places first and they just didn't feel right and nothing really felt like "my dress." I didn't even know if anything was going to feel like my dress since I had no idea what I wanted. We stopped into White Lace and Promises because we happened to see it driving by, and they got us in without an appointment and were so sweet and found me a dress that was more perfect than I could've imagined. They were extremely helpful throughout alterations and everything. I just had my wedding this past weekend, and everyone was blown away by the dress, and I felt like a fairytale princess in it. I bought my wedding dress here and had a pretty good experience. Unfortunately I ve also bought 3 bridesmaids dresses here and had awful experiences.

I ve heard the staff and alterations speak negatively about other people, including people associated with the weddings I ve been in.

When purchasing a dress for a recent wedding we were discussing sizing. I know they hear I ll lose weight all day every day but when commenting on what I d need to order, due to potentially being pregnant, the young girl helping said oh you want to lose weight? You can t make assumptions like that and you should never be the first to mention someone s weight.

The next time I was there, to officially order my dress, I walked in right at opening time and when I walked in there were several girls behind the desk talking and laughing and it took longer than necessary for them to stop talking to each other and recognize me.

I will no longer recommend this store to people. They need a more mature staff who realize a customers needs are priority

Worse bridal shop we went to treated like we where not even there. We had a high budget and walked out and went down the street to Gilded gown and was treated like a queen. No selecton at all and no help.

Went to David's Bridal and got the cold shoulder, was ignored, came here as a result and got the best service ever, thanks David, you lost out on a sale!!!

I can t say enough positive things about WLP! I went dress shopping with family and never found what I was looking for so I decided to book an apt with WLP by myself. I was so nervous about not finding something but Chasta immediately took on the role of a trusted friend and worked with me to find the *perfect* custom dress! If you re looking for support, vision and honest opinions, you need an apt with WLP.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! First of all, the store in GORGEOUS. Even the bathrooms are beautiful! The set up of the store is perfect. You have privacy while trying on, tons of mirrors, and a podium to stand on to make you feel like a true princess while showing your bride tribe your dress! The dresses are wonderfully organized and browser friendly. Also, they are very affordable! I was shocked that the prices were so low because these dresses are the real deal. Great quality! Tori was my consultant today and she was amazing and genuine! She listened and carefully narrowed down what I was looking for and pulled all the right dresses for me. This was my first time trying on any dresses and I had no idea what I was wanting. Thanks to Tori *and everyone else in the store* I left the store with the dress of my dreams and the assurance of knowing that WLP has me taken care of. Today was the fairytale day I have always dreamed of and I cannot thank this store and Tori enough. I am on cloud 9!

I had to sum my long review up, BUT...The dress I bought from here had detachable straps so my stylist put the straps on me, took pictures and then took them off so I could see both ways. I started walking around with it on and instantly More

I had a good experience at WLAP. I went there for the first time trying on wedding gowns, and struggled to find the right style for me, even though I had a lot of pictures. I ended up going back a couple days later after trying other stores in the area, and ended up getting the second one I tried on that day. I wish the first time I went the sales associate helping me put more input in trying to help me find the right fit the first time. She was much better the second time and I love my dress! I even got 15% off and 10% off bridesmaids dresses!

I drove 3 hours to get to this location. I could not make an appointment because no one picks up the phone. I left messages and no one would return my call. It took forever for someone to help me. Then when they got to me they were rude.

Wasn t pleased. Went with one of my best friends to start looking for wedding dresses and the women at the front of the store weren t welcoming and were very obvious about talking about other customers in the store and laughing about it. The woman who helped us didn t listen to the price point that my friend stated and instead chose dresses that were double her budget. She wasn t very helpful and acted like she had much better things to do and places she d rather be than helping us. She was extremely rude to us the whole time we were there, and didn t seem to care about getting to know the bride or learning anything about her wedding. Really disappointed in this experience.

Amazing, wonderful experience! At first, nervous because I did not want to "paw" through more wedding dresses...again. My stylist, Debbie Feehan, took note of what I'd written in my appointment request, in addition to what I was saying at the appointment, and found the wedding gown that fit my personality and our wedding day to perfection! I'd spent so much time looking and printing off pictures and keeping track of item codes, and in the end never needed to at White Lace & Promises in Knoxville, TN. Thank you so much!

DO NOT order extra length on your dress if you are over 5'10" as it will be too long (even with heels), will cost you additional money, and will cost you even more additional money to have it hemmed. They DO NOT offer any reimbursements for these fees. I was stuck paying an additional $120 for an already pricey Jenny Yoo bridesmaid dress.

Beyond disappointing! TOOK MY MONEY WITHOUT DELIVERING THE SERVICE I PAID FOR. The management is in change at this location, and it shows. During my times here to shop for a wedding dress, college girls were in there playing "dress up." One of my bridesmaids and I came in to look at a veil, and NO SALES ASSOCIATED BOTHERED TO HELP us with this potential $300+ purchase. I got my dress from a boutique out of state, but needed it altered in Knoxville. The bustle came undone within the first 15 minutes of my reception, much to my disappointment as I had made sure to ask that it be secure enough to dance. I called to ask for a solution to this problem, as it RUINED MANY WEDDING PHOTOS. They offered half off preservation, so I paid the remainder and asked that the box be sent to where my dress was (out of state). IT NEVER CAME. 3 weeks of unreturned phone calls, emails to Elizabeth (former manager) and voicemails, the NEW MANAGER NEVER CALLED ME BACK. A sales associate LIED and said the box had been shipped out, a few weeks later another sales associate told me THEY NEVER HEARD OF MY ORDER REQUEST. The manager knew I was trying to resolve an issue that began with Elizabeth and NEVER MADE THE EFFORT TO CONTACT ME. I have yet to hear from her or the owner, who worked with Elizabeth on this issue. A sales associate finally credited my money back after I explained I would NEVER TRUST THEM WITH A WEDDING GOWN.

My experience at White Lace and Promise was fantastic. Debbie was wonderful and very experienced. She helped me sort through all the different types of fabrics and also gave tips of how they would alter/fit on the day which I found very helpful. I felt incredibly comfortable the entire time I was there, which was very important to me because shopping is not my favorite thing. She was also very receptive to what I liked and didn't like. Highly recommend White Lace and Promises and Debbie!

The best experience!

I am the most indecisive person on the planet, so I was really stressing about finding the "perfect" dress for my big day on 12/28/19. I was also worried being that I had 10 people come with me to my try on. White Lace made it SO easy for me. They supported me in what I liked, they encouraged me to try on different types of dresses, and they made me feel comfortable in my own skin, which is priceless to someone who struggles with body image. I would recommend WLP to any bride who wants to feel cared for, understood, and confident in their dress!

I went to this store the day after Christmas so my mother could see my dress since I live out west, having pruchased debutante dress here years ago. When I arrived everyone was nice enough, but upon discovering that I would not purchase my dress there my experience was awful. No one helped me carry my dress to the front of the store so my grandmother could view it. And my bridal consultant was disinterested and rude the entire appointment. This was very disappointing since my family does live in locally and would have loved to purchase other dresses from them, but since our experience was so lacking in attention, hospitality, and customer service we will be purchasing elsewhere.

They are very organized and the ladies know how to get what you want and need for your wedding or party !!

I said YES to the dress with Chasta today! Honestly, I ve tried on at other places and this was the best. Being plus sized I was worried, but she made me feel like a size 2. All dresses could be made to fit me instead of having only a plus size selection. The dressing room area was large which made it feel more intimate with me and my friends and mother while we were discussing options and not on type of the other brides! Thank you so much for making me feel amazing and taking the stress out of finding my dress.

This store is fantastic. I came in to find a wedding dress during my bridal appointment and found a beautiful wedding dress that I can't wait to wear. The bridal appointment I scheduled gave me my own private room to try on and show off dresses and they treated me fantastically. I did not have to try on every single wedding dress in the store unlike other stores. The consultant, Debbie, was very knowledgeable and understood what I want as the appointment progressed. In addition to wedding dresses, I also found a huge selection of bridesmaid dresses . The variety of bridesmaid dresses and colors surpassed any other retailers in the Knoxville area. They even let my bridesmaids try on dresses at my appointment to find the perfect one. I would recommend making a bridal appointment at this store!

Walked in with credit card in hand to buy the perfect dress . I was in there for more than 10 min and no one even as much as greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. (There were literally 5 employees standing behind the counter chatting ) I approached them for assistance and was greeted with judgemental eyes and a feeling of unwanted. I was excited to visit this store as I had heard numerous ads and Knoxville has limited wedding stores. Went across the street to David's Bridal and spent over $1000 on dresses for my bridal party. Word of advice to the workers lose the b*tchy attitudes and your store will be way more successful, I hope no one ever make you all feel the way these females made me feel at this special time in life .

Great selection of dresses and sizes. Kennedy assisted with my daughter's appointment on 2/10/18, and she was wonderful. Very personable, knowledgeable, and really took the time to answer any questions we had.

We went there today for my best friend to find a wedding dress. We had Debbie as our consultant and I cannot say enough good things about her and this company! I called a day before and they got us right in the next day because we were coming from out of town! Compared to other bridal appointments, hands down the best. Made us feel special and delivered incredible, friendly service. My family member ended up with an incredible dress and a great experience.

So disappointed in the altering service and customer service. I had bought my wedding dress from White Lace & Promises obviously for my wedding. I paid $300 for alterations only for my dress hook on my skirt to fail the day of my wedding. I had to walk down the aisle holding my skirt up (it was a 2 piece ). When I called White Lace and Promises and explained what had happened, the response I get is "well when you were here for your final fitting it didn't fall off so there is nothing I can offer you, you can bring it in and have it fixed if you want". WOW is all I have to say about that response. Why would I come pay your company more money to fix what the alterations lady Clearly put on wrong in the first place. Terrible customer service and would not recommend this store to anyone!

I arrived at the shop very nervous and self-conscious. The girl helping me decided to educate me on the fabric of the dream dress I wanted. She told me that the dress would show my cellulite, stretch marks, and unwanted fatty areas, but said I still had time to workout. Very rude. I almost left the store immediately. She didn t help me find dresses or make any suggestions. I hope the next person had a better experience than I did.

ZERO STARS. SIZE YOURSELF Honestly the worst customer service I ve ever experienced. Was sized in the store, by employees and the dress DOESN T FIT. They told me I ate too many mashed potatoes. They use the wrong size chart and won t admit it. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE.

They spent all the time they could with me, making sure that I was going to leave with the dress of my dreams. The day I got my dress I was supposed to have just been looking, but thanks to my family and Debbie, I found my dream dress and left so happy. I would recommend them to anyone! They are wonderful!

I found my dream dress here! Everyone was incredible to work with. I came in 9 weeks before my wedding and they were able to get my dress in and tailor it in a short amount of time, even though they were booked up. I like that they have you walk around and pin dresses so that you can decide if you like them before you try them on. My dress fit like a glove, communication was superior, and our consultant, the ladies at the front counter, and our seamstress were all so sweet. So worth it!!

Worst customer service I have experienced. I went into the store tonight around 5:30 PM and two ladies working tonight were the rudest people I have dealt with ever. My wedding is in 3 weeks and I needed to find a dress as soon as possible. I told both of them by situation and they just told me to make an appointment. I explained to them that my current wedding dress is messed up and that I couldn t wear it in 3 weeks! They both reminded me that the store closed at 6 PM. I saw a dress that I loved and the lady told me that I couldn t just buy it because someone that had an actual appointment might want it. Horrible customer service. I would never recommend this place. If a bride came in and needed a dress and was desperate I would help her out but these ladies were rude and ready to leave work by 6 PM. Would not shop here and will make sure to pass this information to all my Knoxville alumni s about to get married.

Absolutely on point. The whole team was amazing but our assistants Holly and Taylor were not only helpful but joined in our excitement and made the whole experience amazing! They had a huge selection that was priced to fit any budget and the bridesmaids selection was equally stunning. This is a one stop boutique. And while our special bride Megan Monday was trying on her dresses we were quite comfortable in their viewing room. WAY TO GO LADIES.

This was a great experience. I was able to get an appointment quickly. They helped me shop within my budget and did not try to upsale me. I really appreciate the friendly, professional staff. Sheri helped me try on dresses that were flattering to my shape and height. I already bought one dress but was second guessing my purchase so we compared more dresses. What a relief it was to make a final decision.

My daughter-in-law was recently a bridesmaid in her friend's wedding. She was measured and was told they were ordering a SIZE 2 dress. Now she is a very petite young lady but she wears a SIZE 6!! They were told that if they didn't order that day, the dresses wouldn't be there in time.....they came in just 2 weeks later. So obviously the dress doesn't fit because they ordered the WRONG size. It was a simple chiffon dress with lace on top but was still a $200 dress. She was told there they wouldn't be able to do any alterations for her because "they waited until the last minute" to get the dresses. ALL the seamstresses in Knoxville would never be able to alter this dress so that it zipped up like it originally was meant to. I had to move the zipper down, let the sides out as much as I could AND add loops to draw it up like a corset. BEWARE LADIES WHEN THEY WANT TO ORDER A DRESS THAT IS MUCH SMALLER OR BIGGER THAN YOU NORMAL SIZE! They should always tell you ahead of time what needs to be altered and how much!

I had the absolute best experience (shout out to Sheri!!) I really appreciated that the consultants didn t try to just say that s so pretty on you! to every gown I put on. She acted like she was a friend and gave me real opinions. She kept it a very positive experience and I can not thank her enough for all of her help! I absolutely loved my experience at white lace and promises! I initially came in with my friend to get a feel of what I wanted and felt no pressure and it was overall a very casual experience. I left feeling uncertain about one particular dress and decided to come back two days later by myself and Debbie helped me make the decision on THE ONE. It s crazy how you go in with one idea of what you want and leave with something completely opposite. The second time I came in was much more crowded but I never felt rushed and the experience was truly tailored to what I wanted from my experience.

From the moment we walked into the shop I felt so welcome! Holly who was helping me was so welcoming and sweet! I felt like we were already friends! Everyone was very sweet and accommodating about my budget. A lot of the time you re sharing a pedestal with another bride, but it felt very personal here. I had my own mirror and sitting area for my mom and future mother-in-law. And there are SO many options! I definitely recommend this place for any bride!

White lace and promises was such a good experience for me as a future bride. Morgan was so sweet and made my time there go so smoothly without any pressure. I had been to a few other bridal shops without any luck, but thankfully WLP had lots of different designers and styles to choose from. I am just so happy with my dress! Had a great experience at White Lace and Promises! Alexis was my consultant and she was really helpful! She made sure to help me in the dress and clip it where it was supposed to fit! So happy with my dress choice! I paid in full, only to realize the next day that a card I wanted my wedding expenses on came in the mail!! I called them and they were happy to switch it over for me for a small fee! Chasta and Morgan also went out of their way to help me and I really appreciate their customer service! I would recommend this store to any bride!
