Outstanding service and excellent food, along with a great view of the lake.

Very nice upscale restaurant on great location overlooking the river. The service is excellent. This is definately a place to take anyone you would like to impress.

DO NOT GO BASED ON REVIEWS THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO TASTE BUD AND ARE INCOMPETENT IN FOOD JUDGEMENT. It has prices of a five star restaurant and food quality just below of an o-charleys! I ordered a sirloin steak (medium rare) and received a well done beef mass. Filet mignon we ordered was OVER seasoned. The pimento cheese appetizer was sour and curdy! Just do not go here ! Way overpriced

I hate to even write this post because this is one of my favorite places to do celebrations and do family events. We went to Lakeside for my oldest son's birthday we had a party of 10 and the service was less than, the food was average and it did not seem to matter to anyone that our experience was lacking.
Do not get me wrong, every restaurant has their down days and that was definitely a down day. I will be back to give it another chance. I have very rarely been disappointed while eating at Lakeside Tavern.

Our waitress was awesome and the food was fabulous. View in the outside eating area was beautiful.

Very busy on Sunday for brunch. Wait time 30-60 minutes

For as packed and busy as this place was, our food came out super quick! Couldn't have been 15 minutes!

We have dined here many times over the years & enjoy the experience. This time we asked to be seated outside. As we were seated, we began raising the sun umbrella & were told we couldn't open it due to the wind. We have been able to raise the umbrella under more powerful winds there before with no issues while we dined. Our food was good, but we asked our waiter for salt & pepper 3 times & a to-go cup, which we never received. He also kept bringing lemons with others' teas after they kept asking for orange slices. We will probably give Lakeside another chance, but it will be a while.

Food was mediocre and on par with several others in the same niche. Marina view was lovely but inside was a little gloomy.

Location is great. Food was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definately return.

Was told by family how great the food was. Took son and his family for son birthday. Was disappointed in the breakfast part of the brunch . Eggs had no flavor and hash browns and gravy were just avg. I might have caught them on a bad Sunday. Rest of family seemed to enjoy it.

Fabulous restaurant, excellent food and quick service. The property is beautiful, on a hilltop overlooking a marina. Call ahead reservations are recommended.

First time coming out to this restaurant, and I have to say the ribeye tasted like charcoal, and when I got a new one, it wasn t even close to done enough. I wanted a mid well. And it was still mooing. And it still tasted like charcoal. You can t even taste the steak is was so bad. Wish I could give this restaurant a 0 star. I don t recommend the key lime pie either.

This place is great all the way around. Food is fantastic! I ordered the crab cakes that were the best I ve had. My family ordered steaks and pasta that were absolutely delicious! The staff is beyond great. Super friendly and helpful. I was one of those pain costumers that had a birthday dinner there and everything kept getting changed on our end and they never got frustrated or was rude about it. So helpful and friendly. It really made my MIL s birthday special. We just moved to Knoxville days ago, and I already found our favorite restaurant!

I recently went there and was completely disappointed. we waited for an hour for a menu that is very limited and the bread was way to salty and so were the fries

The brunch was beyond outstanding! Will be back to try the regular menu. Go if you have the chance.

Stopped by after being out on the lake. We have a boat there, and stop by often. We were thirsty and hungry and looking forward to dining there.

My wife, son and I were seated immediately. Then sat for 12 minutes, nobody came to see us. The table beside of us had a waitress chatting with the table for about half the time. Vacations, clothes, etc. Never asked us if we needed anything.

Table of 6 came in and sat behind us. A waitress was taking their drink orders as they were sitting down. Still we sat there with no service.

We got up and left, clearly frustrated. The hostess at the front desk could tell we were frustrated and said she could get someone for us. Too late at that point. 12 minutes is far too long to sit with no service. It was not very busy either. Went to Longhorns in Turkey Creek and had a great dinner.

We plan to visit Lakeside again this Sunday for brunch before going out on the boat. Hopefully it's a better experience.

Beautiful restaurant. Love the patio seating areas with views of the lake. The service was very good. We had high hopes for the food and it didn't end up quite hitting the bar, but it was almost there. My husband got the ribeye and it was cooked how he asked and did have a chargrilled flavor, but it was a little overbearing & not very well-balanced with the seasoning. My fish was a little on the dry side but the flavor was good. I almost feel like it was kind of a fluke because it just seems like a place that produces top notch dishes. We'd definitely be willing to try again if we're in the area again in the future.

Great service, wonderful food. Ate outside on a 90 degree day and we're quite comfy in the shade with ceiling fans!

Food is always really good. It would be nice if on busy evenings, they would have someone to refill drinks. Just thinking out loud :)

Ask for rare cooking and received medium well. Waitress did not offer to accomodate.

You cant beat dinner and an amazing view. I always love coming here and order the Tavern Po Boy every time. SO delicious and always fresh.

Great service and excellent food, Loved my spinach artichoke appetizer and Hawaiian Sirloin entree, I recommend this location for a nice quiet dinner.

Last night was my first time eating here, I loved the location. Very clean reasturant, the food was exceptional, I had the blue crab cakes and stemmed broccoli. Friendly staff and excellent service.

If you're looking for excellent food, incredible view and ambience, this is your place. If you go during a busy time (Sunday brunch, Saturday night) I recommend call-ahead seating. Otherwise be prepared to wait 45-60 min. We've waited that before though and it's still so worth it. Plenty of seating and scenery to keep you content during that wait time (and we have two little kids). We love Lakeside Tavern. Also, Andy (server) is awesome.

You definitely have to try the all-you-can-eat buffet wonderful food great atmosphere and good service.

5-star service, 5-star view, 5-star meal...unless you live in west Knoxville this is not just on the way to anywhere - but is worth going too whenever possible. I love their salads but there are all winners on the menu. Lunch, brunch or dinner this is a rea$onable place to eat.

We don't get to Farragut as often as we'd like, but when we do. one of the must do's is the Lakeside Tavern. This time I had their steak and it was done just right: red and cool in the center; in other words, I asked for rare and GOT rare. The others at the table enjoyed their meals as well - Lakeside is prepared for any age, even 3 and 7 year olds! The views of the lake and marina are beautiful. So is the service and staff attitude. Our tall waiter got down on one knee to talk to us at our level - I've never seen that before!

Relatively new to area. Got great recommendation about Lakeside Tavern so decided to go for date night with hubby. Wait staff is great. Did not rush us in ordering which was wonderful as we wanted time to relax and enjoy. Food came out and as someone else noted, portions are generous. Yes, across the lake way in the distance there was a train that went by. But to us that added to its charm. We will definitely be return customers. May even be where we go for family celebrations.

This was the first time I ve dined here. Had high hopes. We got in right away to the bar area. Food was good. Service was horrible. It was a Saturday night but food was served and that was it. No one checking on how we liked it or if we needed anything. We sat there with empty glasses majority of the meal. Not the experience I was hoping for?

Beautiful view. Two hour wait to eat. Not very welcoming. They made us feel like we were an inconvenience because we came as a large group.

The patio was awesome. The crab cakes were ok. The fish and chips were pretty good.

Food was good. Had the pork loin. Was real good. And our server was awesome!!
