I could not have asked for a better experience! Cassandra made me feel so great! She helped me find the most perfect dress! She was so helpful and kind. She let me look through the store, worked perfectly with my budget, and learned my style. I did not feel like she was pushing me to make a purchase, but that she really wanted me to have the best experience shopping. I definitely reccomend!

Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience. After coming in, exactly on time for my appointment, I was told to wait several minutes for a consultant. Once with the consultant, I was given a tour of the store, then told to find my own dresses. As opposed to the consultant pulling dresses for me in my budget range. Then, in the fitting room, I had to take the dresses on, off and hang them up myself. On top of that, the consultant did not at all listen to my needs. To make matters even more worse, I could not get most of the dresses I tried on past my knees. I am a size 10 woman. I should be able to try on wedding dresses. The sample dresses were NOT inclusive which is incredible wrong. After the service I had received at other bridal shops, I was very uncomfortable here. After only being in the store maybe 25 minutes, I left. I was not at all interested in continuing to feel unimportant, uncomfortable, and poor (though my budget was $2,000.) In the future, please cater to the brides in your store and better develop your consultants. White Lace is one of the most shopped bridal boutiques in the Knoxville area, I am so sad that other brides get this experience that is equivalent to David's Bridal. Do yourself a favor and go to Lillian Ruth for a more intimate, hands-on, and thoughtful bridal appointment.

SIZE YOURSELF or get professionals to size you. These ladies are not using the correct size chart for their Bill Levkoff bridemaid dresses. SO disappointed by my experience because I really liked the dress-- had to get expensive alterations to fix the problem they created for both me and the only other bridesmaid that used this bridal shop. I'm 5'2 100 pounds and could not fit into the 0 size dress they ordered me, they suggested my body had changed and assumed it was on my end. I got remeasured and we called around other bridal shops and discovered-- If they had gone off the public published size chart I would have ordered the correct dress in the first place-- they claimed they had a special size chart from the designer. (it was a whole size off!!!)
First bad review I've ever left, anywhere-- I hope they learn something from it...and I hope both me and another bridesmaid get our dress altered in time :(

I was referred to White Lace and Promises by a few Brides to be, I have to say this was the BEST experience I had shopping for a wedding dress. I worked with Gracie the Manager and she made me feel comfortable and allowed me to choose my dress versus "suggestively" pushing me into a dress. I have gone to quite a few bridal store and after one experience with a larger bridal store I was about to give up.

The process was very simple and Gracie walked me through the entire store explaining all of the sections of the store. As a plus size bride there were still a lot of options for me to choose from. All of the other brides to be that came into the store while I was there received the same one on one treatment and no one felt crowed with each other. It was warm and inviting and didn't feel like a mass rush during Black Friday.

I purchased my wedding dress from White Lace and Promises, and it was a better experience than I could have ever asked for! I was nervous about finding the right dress, but Debby was so helpful and knew exactly what kind of style I was looking for. The entire staff was friendly and so excited for me as I said yes to the dress! I would highly recommended this store as the place to go to someone looking for that perfect dress. Thank you!

Amazing Place! We had called ahead to schedule an appointment and was told we didn't need one that day due to it being a slow schedule. When we walked in, the front girls said we could look around and if they could work us in, then they would. We approached another woman (Chasta) that worked there and told her the situation. We were an hour and a half out of town. She actually happened to be the store manager. She worked directly with us the entire time, was absolutely phenomenal and patient. I said Yes to the Dress! and I got a cupcake!!! BEST. DAY. EVER! She also worked with me with the pricing so I could afford the perfect dress. This place had so many choices and they are all beautiful, and definitely worth the drive!!! Thank you White Lace Promises for making my dreams come true!

I've had the most amazing and memorable experiences here! I was so well taken care of searching and eventually finding my dream dress. They emailed me and called me as soon as it was in to try on and view. It wasn't until I came to this shop did I finally feel like a Bride and get my wedding jitters! If you need a wedding gown, go here!

Holy Moly! WLP is AMAZING! I was nervous about dress shopping and wasn't sure what the day would be like... I have watched shows and heard horror stories from brides before. Well my experience was one of the BEST days of my life! Paige immediately got my style and the vibe I wanted to have on my wedding day. She went above and beyond to pull dresses that fit that exact style while also pulling dresses out of comfort zone (which I loved). She wanted me to leave with no regrets. Today when I left WLP I felt such ease and at a peace. I will forever be grateful to Paige and the WLP team for making this day better than I could ever have imagined!

I went and got my wedding dress from White Lace this past January and I had THE BEST experience! Morgan Putty helped me find my dream dress and made me feel so comfortable! She scheduled my bridesmaids for a date when she could help us and they all loved her as well! I would HIGHLY recommend coming here for all your dress needs!!

I never give google reviews because I m lazy so I m the fact that I m writing this means my expectations were more than amazing.
Walking into White Lace and Promises is like walking into a dream..
First of all, you walk in and it smells like the angels from the sky blessed the whole place with the most loveliest scent.
Second, the dresses are beautiful, they are so elegant and I felt like a queen in the 7 dresses I tried on.
My stylist, Hayley was so welcoming and sweet. She made me feel so relaxed about finding my wedding dress. She definitely deserves a raise because this girl goes above and beyond.
I also was blessed to work with Sherrie (sorry if I misspelled your name) for a few minutes. She also deserves a raise and a higher discount or something of that sort lol
If I could give this place a 10 star I would.
Please, before you go anywhere else, come to White Lace and Promises first :)

Beautiful dresses, helpful employees, and the owner loves what she does

I have never been so disappointed in the customer service displayed by White Lace and Promises. The brides mom and sister drove all the way from Florida to help shop for wedding dresses. We happened to find the dress earlier in the day at another bridal store. When we called to change the appointment from a bridal gown appointment to a bridesmaid appointment they were happy to do so. Later in the day, they sent a text canceling the appointment and said that they do not offer bridesmaid dress appointments on Saturday and we could reschedule for another day. They did not even have the courtesy to call. Knowing that the brides mom and sister drove 8 hours to be here today, we went anyway. Upon arriving they were extremely rude and told us we can only look and not try on dresses. After reiterating how far family drove to be here with us, they said we could look but would have absolutely no help from any of their associates. It was very disappointing to feel like we were treated so poorly simply because we found the brides dress at another business.

This store was a savior! I had been looking at so many stores to try to find a gown. I started with David's Bridal and went all the way to Bridals By Lori. Nowhere had anything I was looking for. White Lace and Promises has an absolutely stunning selection of plus size gowns. Truly the biggest selection of gowns above a size 12 that I have ever seen. And everything was so beautiful! Even though the shop had a lot going on, the manager helped me try on the gowns and was very attentive. I have not purchased it yet, but after looking around, I am sure that my dress will be from White Lace and Promises! You will not find a more wonderful, budget-friendly experience anywhere. I will be recommending this shop to all of my engaged friends. I can't wait to order the dress!

I was super nervous about finding "the" dress but the ladies here are wonderful and help you every step of the way to find what suits you perfect! Pretty much any style of dress you can think of White Lace and Promises will have and they wont break the bank! Thank you all so much for such an awesome experience! <3

Beautiful inventory and I have had many brides tell me they used this store for their gowns.

I went in there in hopes of finding my dream wedding dress and I did just that! Sam helped me and was absolutely amazing!! First dress I tried on and it was the one! The selection of dresses was astounding and all the consultants were amazing! Sheri was the consultant for my appointment, and she was seriously the best!! I tried on some beautiful dresses, but I found the most perfect dress! My experience could not have been better and I am so thankful!

We had an appointment with Tori, and our experience was magical! She was helpful and kind to my sister, it made our day! Dresses are beautiful and very affordable!!!

I bought my wedding dress here and absolutely loved it! Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Chasta was my consultant for my appointment and was amazing! She pulled as many dresses as I needed and a little extra just to have fun. I said yes to the dress at the appointment and they also gave me a little cupcake at the end of the appointment. I would definitely recommend this store if you re looking for your wedding dress. Their dresses are beautiful and they have a wide selection to choose from.

I just recently got my wedding dress from White Lace & Promises. This was my first outing to try on dresses and only the second store I went to. I honestly was not expecting to be able to find a gown in my price range, but they were having an amazing sample sale! Morgan Putty was my stylist and I could not have asked for a better person to have helped me through the process. I had just come from a place that made me feel very overwhelmed, I felt like the consultant did not listen to what I wanted, and she kept barging in the dressing room. Morgan was like a breath of fresh air! She made me feel welcome and excited to try on gowns. Their selection of gowns is incredible. They have something for every bride. I had a very specific style in mind and easily found several dresses. In the dressing room, Morgan made me feel so calm and comfortable. If one dress didn't fit, the way she handled it was so graceful and I never once felt self conscious. I ended up going with the second dress I tried on! They gave me plenty of time to think and went WAY out of their way to help me make my decision. Morgan got the seamstress to come out and personally talk to me about the alterations she could make. She got her manager to help show me the bustle options. They even got a male mannequin to put up next to the dress so I would feel confident knowing what the dress looked like next to my groom. I never asked for anything of this, they just took initiative and had the best attitude the entire time. I would HIGHLY recommend White Lace & Promises to every bride. Even if you don't plan to buy a gown from there, the experience they provide is what every bride deserves.

The first time I went in here it was amazing. However my most recent experience was not. We got there right On time, like they expect you to do. But the stylist that was supposed to help me was unavailable. They left me alone for 20 mins with absolutely no help and barely any talking. Finally once I was helped, The bridal stylist was not helpful, was not listening to what I wanted, and didn't seem to know much or really didn't care. I am giving it a three stars because I honestly love their dresses so much and their designers are amazing but as for experience, I would not go back to spend that much on a dress when I felt like they could care less if I was there or not.

I will NEVER go back here. I was charged 100$ for a 2 inch hem that could have easily been done at home. I was not made aware of this until after it had been done. I was told I would pay based on the amount of work needed and this obviously wasn't true. When I asked to speak with a manager I was rudely told that was not possible and they could do nothing to explain why I had this incredible fee FOR A TWO INCH HEM. I have told nearly everyone I know not to go here, they overcharge you for average quality work. There are definitely better options in the Knoxville area.

White Lace and Promises was the second dress store I went on my wedding dress search and I looked no further! They were so nice and helpful about fitting me in last minute and Kerres was just absolutely wonderful! The selection was so much more unique and personalized than other nearby shops and I found the perfect dress for me. Wedding dress shopping can be so stressful but with White Lace and Promises it was a breeze and I 100% recommend them!

I got my dress from here in July and had the most amazing experience with Morgan Putty! Just came back for my first fitting and it was equally amazing! So happy with my choice here.

Absolutely gorgeous dresses. Tori Farmer helped me while I was there and she went above and beyond for me. She was very attentive and understanding of the style I was looking for.
