Purchased a new Sierra Denali crew from Walser Buick GMC in Bloomington in September. They did paperwork on the wrong VIN, and they have yet to complete my title and registration. I am about as easy as they get and yet they have made the experience as difficult as possible and turned a 30 minute purchase into a month long ordeal. At this point I would have to recommend staying away from this dealership, and possibly the Walser group as a whole, since they seem to have an "it's not me its the company" stance.

Very disappointed. Wife bought a car 2 months ago from nissan in Burnsville and its been a great car but the customer experience was horrible. Felt forced to buy the car. Told the sales person 15 plus times we don't want the extended used car warranty but he would not come off it. Sales manager and used car manager were very condsending. Plus the only reason they have 1200 5 star reviews are because the salesperson forces you to write them or at least that was our case. He made sure we pulled out our phone and opened up Google maps where he reached over and punched a 5 star review for himself and made sure we wrote his name and how great our experience was. Very disappointed and will never buy a car from them again.

Found a car on their website. Drove 130 miles to see it. Was met at the door by a nice salesman. It was 100 degrees that day, and he offered me a bottle of water. My salesman was Shaun Ricci, nice young guy. Very helpful and we got a deal done. Call him up if your looking to buy a new or used vehicle. Painless. Great Place!

I just bought a used car at Walser Nissan and enjoyed the great customer service from Joe Pfau. The loan process was quick and the rates were very competitive. I drove away in my new car that day and I am loving my Ford Focus.

Curious as to whether the practice of pulling a credit report without a person's permission when they've told the sales person they have approved outside financing is common with Walser? You know that's illegal, right? Just happened to me yesterday at one of your dealerships and the sales guy asked me to sign my approval at the END of my sale long after they had pulled my credit report- maybe while I was out doing my test drive. I said "What is this? Why would you have pulled my credit- my loan is already done." And he said "Oh, we need to make sure you are who you say you are." Are you kidding me? More communications to come.

We put a deposit down on a car on Saturday to pick up the car on Monday after work. One hour before we were to pick up the car we received a text message saying they sold the vehicle earlier that day. Not sure how a company can take your credit card and run all the finances just to sell the car hours before you are to pick it up, and then in a text message without any remorse or willingness to work with us to correct their error. Edit - after this we spoke with the manager. They were willing to work with us and were able to find a vehicle with lesser mileage in a compromise In both sides for the situation that had occurred. He did a good job of rectifying the situation as best as he could.

Don't bring your car to wabuick GMC Buick if you want your GMC fixed right the first time. I do most of the work on my own vehicle but when it came to my AC I decided to take it to what should have been the professionals because they built the truck and it has been a nightmare ever since. The first time I took it there I had them do a 83 point inspection that I have never received the results for beside the obvious things, an oil change that ever since my truck reads check oil level everytime I start it and to fix the AC which they filled and said that there was a " small leak " so come back in 2 weeks so they could find it. Four days later I turned the AC on to find out that it didn't work again. I give Matt a call in the service area I was told that he was busy and he would call me back in 10 minutes when he got done with them so I decided to take care of a couple of things when I waited for his phone call back so I could schedule a time to bring my truck back so they could look at it. 45 minutes later without a return call I decided to pay them a visit in person to take care of the problem once and I was hoping for all because once again they are " the professionals ". So the second time I brought it back and needing to close my business because of no vehicle. They told me that it needed a high pressure valve and that would fix it. So I had them do it since they had it. After I got it back I did some research and talked to a friend that has worked for gm for over 20 years and found out that the almost $200 they charged me was for a $11 part and that they should have easily seen it the first time they had it so it would not have leaked into the environment. After all it was fix or so I thought but once again 3 days later my AC was not working again. So once again I gave them a call to see what they want to do to fix the problem and I scheduled another appointment to bring it in. So now it is the 3rd time trying to get my AC fixed from the so called professionals. I get there and talk to the service manager kelly to find out that they want me to sit around and wait for them to diagnosis the problem again instead of letting me have a loaner vehicle so that I could take care of my business. The least they could have done because they have inconvenience me for the third time trying to get a problem fixed that I have put about $500 into and still has not been fixed. So I sit around for about 90 minutes for them to get me and tell me that I needed another $1700 to POSSIBLY fix the problem for the last time. I asked kelly the service manager what kind of deal they could work out with me considering they have misdiagnosed it and I have spent $500 paying the so called professionals to fix it RIGHT the first 2 time and have not received anything to fix the problem properly. He said that it was a different work order so he could do nothing so I told them to give me my truck back. I left and call another gm dealership to find out what the parts would cost and found someone else that would do the labor in the total of $1000. I decided to give walser corporate office a call and they said that I had to talk to the dealerships gm so I had them send him a message and I left him one myself. He called back and instead of me talking to him on the phone we decided that it would be easier for me to come in so we could talk in person so I drove in for the second time that day thinking I might get this figured out. I sat down and told him the story to find out what he was willing to do to fix the problem and be done with it so I didn't have to keep bring my truck in and having to close my business with letting him know that I could have the same work done for $1000 and get a loaner vehicle for free with the repair. He went to the service area to come back and let me know that they couldn't take a loss so the best they could do is $1400, it would take 2 days, and get me a loaner vehicle when they had it. I told him I didn't want anything for free but they had to do better than that he responded with I can't so I left.

Bought my 2018 4runner from these guys. The sales guy was nice. Went out in -0 weather to get the 4runner for me to look at. Did not feel pressured to buy. Answered all my questions and fixed some issues I had with my bank's financing. Never pressured me to go though Toyota financing. Have not been to the service department yet

I bought my car from this location Nov 2017 and I enjoyed the service . They are well equipped with technology to locate their cars on the parking lot so you don t have to wait to long to check out their inventory . Their customer service reps are very patient as well and help you locate the car of your choice . I have since taken my car here for maintenance ( oil changes and all) and their service is top notch! Would highly recommend it !

Went for an oil change and tire rotation on my Mazda; it had been awhile since my last dealer visit. They did the oil change and rotation without any aggressive upselling and I was on my way in about an hour! They replaced the wipers for $10 each as well.
The only reason this visit didn't get a five star was their waiting area - it's in nice condition but the amenities are sparse. Basic coffee and popcorn, no other options. The temperature is kept cool and the wifi was unsecured :/

I am leaving this review with the expectation that
(1) my dispute will be resolved as soon as possible, (2) no other buyer will go through this experience, and (3) training will be enforced regarding protected data moving forward.

TLDR: Walser Burnsville Mazda is in violation of the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) for pulling my credit without my consent until they properly submit the required Inquiry Deletion Request to Equifax. Additionally, there is a lack of expediency to ensure closure of their wrongdoing.

The Full Story: I visited Walser Burnsville Mazda on Saturday October 12th with the intention to test drive and pay cash for a specific vehicle. The test drive went as expected, so I gave the green light and was ready to complete the purchase (my last vehicle was purchased from this dealership, so I felt comfortable giving them my business). The sale close-out procedure is where my confidence and trust in this dealership was damaged.

Paying cash (check, specifically), I expected the process to be quick and painless - no financing, and thus, no credit or rate checking required! This is where I was WRONG.

I was provided a FINANCING Application, with the assurance that Walser requires a credit check to verify the identity of their purchasers. As someone who works in Corporate compliance and interprets contracts for a living, this was a red flag for me. I politely read the FINANCING Contract verbiage, expressed my concerns on why I would need to sign a FINANCING Application when I was paying cash, and was told the contract was simply to cover general verbiage.

I quickly inquired on alternative options, EXPRESSLY stating that I did NOT want my credit pulled and would NOT sign that contract if that was the intended outcome. Walser confirmed that a certified check would be a suitable alternative in place of a credit pull, so I obliged and was willing to continue with the sale. I just purchased a home and started a small business, so I am in after-care treating my precious score with kit-gloves.

This is where the entire experience went south. As I was waiting for the final numbers to cut the check, I received a notification on my phone that a new hard inquiry had come in from Walser Burnsville . Imagine my surprise in that moment when I had signed NO paperwork for them to run my credit! Naturally, I brought the inquiry to my Sales Representative s attention, to which he replied that they had NOT pulled my credit. I showed him the new inquiry so there was no confusion in reviewing the hard (pun intended) facts.

Though apologetic, the line that really affirmed the situation for me was when I was told, and I quote, The good news is you have EXCELLENT credit and we won t need that certified check! A. I know I have excellent credit, which is why I use credit sparingly and monitor my score. And B. If running my credit was the only option to purchase the vehicle, I would have immediately taken my business elsewhere. I felt taken advantage of, mistreated, and overlooked until they could see with their own eyes that, wow, this person can actually afford to pay cash. Congrats!

I was quickly assured that this would be handled ASAP - which, hey, mistakes happen so let s get this resolved! It was a Saturday, so I patiently waited for normal M-Fri business hours to kick in for Walser to do their part with Equifax to put this behind us. Over a week has passed, and calling Equifax (DAILY), the Inquiry Deletion Request has yet to be properly submitted.

Equifax has confirmed that the same system Walser used to pull my credit is the same system they need to leverage to submit the inquiry deletion request. Though the Walser GM s correspondence has been friendly, the delayed responses and actions exhibit this is not being handled with the expediency that is required to right the illegal action done.

I need to be contacted with confirmation that this has been resolved by end of business Monday, or I will have to proceed with legal action.

Walser is great because I can find out what they're asking for a car that I'm interested in, take that price to the dealership of my choice, and request that that dealership meet Walser's price. That usually works out well.

January 2017 my fiance and I purchased a 2007 f150 from walser. March 2017 (2 months!) The rear differential goes out. I called walser and they were not willing to help at all. The only offer was brining the truck in and they would send it to their repair people (which costed me $1,200). Fast forward to march 2018 (current) and the rear differential is going out again. Once again....no help offered. Their first "core value" under their mission is to "do the right thing". Thanks for doing nothing.

I had a great experience working with Josh P at Walser Toyota. He held a used vehicle for me to look at. And was able to send me pictures of it they were not posted online yet. Once there it was an easy decision and I left with my new-to-me 4Runner in less than 2 hours.

I recently purchase two cars from Walser Mazda Burnsville, a 2017 MX-5 and a 2016 CX-5. During the buying process, I was working with Aldo, and I alerted him to the fact that there was 50-60 paint chips in the hood. I told him that I would be interested in the car if it got it fixed. Aldo advised me that he received manager approval and then he would call me in a couple days to set up an appointment. Several days later I received a call from the clear coat provider, and they advised that I should not get the clear coat until I get the paint fixed. Fast forward a week, after having to call the dealership, they finally set up for a time for me to come in. I thought that they would have a paint guy do some professional work....nope....

A sales manager guy did the work with a touch up paint pen. Where I used to have chips, I not have messy paint bumps. Dude was just working in the back lot using a skillset that I would wager Walser is definitely not paying him for. I didn't object to the work when they showed me the results, I just wanted to get out of there. I shouldn't have to nag a dealer to make good on a promise. I paid well over market value for this "Mazda Certified" car and did not get any deals for purchasing two cars at one. I now have a quote for $1K to fix this. I'm not happy, so I am sharing with everyone.

I was put in contact with David Berwald, the General Manager at Walser Mazda in Burnsville. He acknowledged the issue and worked for resolution. I was given a loaner at no cost and David worked with an actual body shop business(I believe it was Walser collision). After working to buff out the touch up paint, (which unfortunately did not work), the repairs to the damage was done with a full re-painting of the front in and I am happy to report that it looks fantastic and exceeded my expectations. I understand that while individual employees may from time to time make mistakes, a good company makes good to ensure that those mistakes are corrected. I am glad they took this seriously and I will definitely consider Walser for my next purchase.

Walser Automotive Group/BMW makes buying a vehicle...

Walser Automotive Group/BMW makes buying a vehicle the most satisfying car buying experience for EVERY buyer. Our salesperson Michelle was knowledgeable about the vehicle, the buying process and service after purchase. We never felt pressured or coerced in any way. Don't sell yourself short by not visiting the dealership. The cars they have are ALL in pristine condition. They have vehicles for nearly every buyer from a first car to something that is just extra special for an elite buyer. The mechanical review done prior to putting vehicles out for sale, is done by brand certified mechanics, so if a vehicle is not Walser ready they don't sell it. From our initial greeting to driving off the lot, I can't express how impressed our family was with the Walser experience. We are proud to now be members of the Walser BMW family. I can't wait until it is my turn because we definitely will be coming back. This dealership is located in wichita, ks.

My experience with Walser owned Sixt Car Rental at MSP was a Bad Choice!! Received no invoice at drop off then was emailed the invoice a day later. Saw the charge was 50% higher than expected and called to complain. Guy said he agreed and would see what he could do. The original charge disappeared off my credit card pending charges and I thought they were adjusting the charge or going to write it off. 2 1/2 months later the original inflated charge comes through on my statement. I call my credit card company who conference calls me with the Sixt rep. He tells me about charges that don't even match the charges on the invoice and then says if I want to talk about an invoice adjustment, I can call him back in the morning and he can give me another number to call for billing customer service. I said I wasn't going to call in the morning, just transfer me or give me the number now. He said no... I would have to call him in the morning. I disconnected from him and told the credit card company to dispute the overcharge. There is no way I am going to let this company scam me out of the money. Do not roll the dice with these people.

I have been looking for a new car and found one on Craiglist. Yesterday I called on it. The sales guy said it was a great clean car. It was at Walser Automotive Group in Owatanna.
I drove an hour and a half to go see it.
When I got there, they said they sold it yesterday. They got me. The old bait and switch. When I left, I actually wasn't mad for some reason.
Rather I was really sad that someone would think 3 hrs of my time is not worth anything. Please consider this when car shopping in the future. This is how Walser Automotive Group practices business. Very unethical.

Wasn't all that impressed with their sales associates. Didn't seem to know much about the Leaf. Went up to the Walser in Wayzata. They had a guy who was up on his knowledge on the new leaf and spent a lot of time with us on our test drive. The associate in Burnsville just took us up the road and back on their test drive. Not all that impressed. I stop by here regularly to use the fast charge, but it only works half the time. Fortunately they have multiple options for charging.

I would recommend staying away from Walser. We purchased a vehicle (Friday evening) and the next day (Saturday) it was making a groaning/vibration noise when turning. I contacted the dealership that day (Saturday) and they said I should bring the car in on Monday. The dealership stated they would take a look at it. We brought the vehicle in as requested, but to my astonishment they would not have service look at it, but said it was not an issue. This all happened within the famous return & exchange period that is listed on the Walser corporate site. I asked what my options were and wanted to return for refund, but was told this was not an option. The person I spoke to also said don t worry this is a quality car that will last a long time. Skeptical, I contacted an authorized dealer for the make of the car and had it inspected. Turns out needs tons of repairs totaling $2,642.17. I brought this estimate back to Walser and the manager said our experts thoroughly go through all vehicles before they are placed for sale and if the work needed to be done it would have been done. Keep in mind this all was within a bit over a week and I was holding the inspection sheet and estimate from the real authorized dealer experts, but he did not even want to look at it. He stated they would not fix the issues. I told him I wanted to return the car for a refund and was once again told no. The best they could do would be to exchange the car for something else. One question, is Walser intending on placing this car back on the sales floor with these issues and hoping the next person will not hear the noise, why not fix it? Ok, now to the exchange nightmare. First I was informed that the money we received from our trade on the original deal, would not apply to this exchange. What does this mean, where did the money go, did Walser just steal my old car? The vehicle we traded was already sold at auction. I looked through all vehicles available at Walser and identified one that might work for us. We drove the vehicle and it pulled severely to the left and I mean it could take left turns like it was a self driving car (the experts must have looked at this one as well). The salesperson helping me then decided he would drive it and guess what, he said it was perfect, no issues. He also said the roads are bad around here so that s probably the issue, you cannot make this stuff up. The sales manager at this location said he would check the alignment. It came back from the test as passing but when he drove it, he confirmed the mysterious issue (his words). They asked if I was still interested in the vehicle and I said that I was not interested in a vehicle with mysterious issues. I started to think about it and I was done with trying to select a different vehicle, one I do not even want. It felt like trying to pick the best of the worst. I have purchased other vehicles from Walser in the past, but never again as I have completely lost faith in this dealership. I m done please fix the car or return my money.

Update 6/28/18 - Spoke with the manager and Walser is now reluctantly willing to have their service department look at the vehicle, but was told they can not take into consideration the independent inspection and repair estimate from the authorized dealer.

Update 6/29/18 - Dropped vehicle off at Walser service and was issued a loaner car. Gave them a copy of the inspection from the independent authorized dealer to use as a reference.

Update 7/3/18 - The manager at Walser confirmed that the repair estimate/inspection done at the authorized dealer was accurate and they are now ordering parts.

Update 7/12/18 - Picked up vehicle from Walser and the manager asked that I remove the review. I drove it back to the authorized dealer to verify the repair was done right. They found that Walser did not tighten both lock nuts on tie rod ends after alignment, so this had to be redone. They also used the wrong type of PSF after replacing the steering rack. Rating remains 1 star.

When I was searching for a truck, I found Zach Marino and he was very helpful. He showed me some vehicles that were in the market I was looking at and I found one in particular that interested me.
Unfortunately, Zach wasn t working the day I called on this particular truck, and I visited the dealership in Brooklyn Park, Walser Experienced Autos.
I met Ka at the door and she had the truck ready and waiting for me when I arrived. I looked it over, drove it around, asked some questions and made my decision to purchase this truck. It was exactly what I wanted, with pretty much everything I wanted, and wasn t stuck buying more than what I needed!
It really worked out the best I could ve hoped for. I ve since used it to pull my pontoon around from Brainerd to Minnetonka and to a few other lakes and it s performed perfectly. I am very happy I contacted Walser and both Zach and Ka worked to my satisfaction and did Walser PROUD!
The Walser group has worked with me on a few little items and everything has worked great.
I can say I would definitely go to Walser again without hesitation.
Thank you everyone, especially Zach and Ka. Doug is ok too!!

Mike Benincasa at Walser Nissan in Wayzata was great. I most appreciated his clear communication and ability to work out most of our new vehicle purchase and trade in remotely during this time of social distancing. He made what could have been a stressful experience go extra smoothly with a focus on our needs. Thanks.

This is the worst dealership in the country. Don't believe the 5 Start reviews, they are fake. I had such a horrible experience at this dealership. Horribly managed, no one knows what's going on. They recruit the most rude people and every time I call I get a different answer to the same question. They refused to give the phone number to Walser Corp to let them know about my experience. Stay away from this dealership!

worked with walser Buick gmc in Bloomington. i think it is important to note that they can offer different pricing versus their sister location in Roseville.
Be smart and look at both. Had good online pricing with no hassles. My experience was in my internet searches that they were extremely competitive.
Offer a $25 coupon for a test drive. it is not texted to you. it is emailed and printed. You don't get an email copy of it . If it is not provided they will not honor it even if you ultimately buy a car. Feel a better off with an emailed or texted coupon but that is why i shaved off one star.

I am extremely happy with Walser Honda and the people they employ. I worked with Miles and Matt to purchase my vehicle. They were patient and friendly. After I got my used vehicle home I noticed some things that needed repairs. Darren helped me get everything taken care of right away. Thanks for everything! I know little about cars and the process of purchasing but it was a breeze and everyone was so accommodating. I would recommend Walser to anyone I know.
