Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The views we're amazing and the layout was very nice. It had a professional yet cozy feel to it. It felt like a modernized piece of history the way it is built.

Great staff who are super friendly, professional and always there to help. The rooms are nice and clean, albeit, slightly dated which they seems to be taking care of through an ongoing upgrade. Breakfast buffet is nice but, as usual, no hotel seems to be able to get the scrambled eggs right and they end up over cooked (I am very picky about my eggs, so take this with a grain of salt.)

The property... is just out of this world beautiful!! We happened to be here this last time in the snow and it was picture perfect!

This place is always going to be my first choice in the area.

The service is adequate. The food is decent. The grounds are nice. Nothing wrong with the room or bed. The place accommodates a large conference nicely. There is really nothing to complain about it, but honestly I was expecting more. Except for the nice grounds and the interesting look of the buildings, everything seems a little generic.

The grounds were beautiful. Reminded me of a favorite British movie. The staff were very professional and courteous. The room was excellent. Very clean and so comfortable. The only issues were, as reported by another reviewer, outside noises such as hallway chatter and closing doors were fairly audible and could be bothersome for some people. Other than that, it was a pleasure to stay here. I'll be coming back in the future.

I had the great fortune to be checking in for a week long training session when Courtenee was at the front desk. She was gracious and professional. I asked if I could have a room with windows that faced east so I could enjoy the sunrise all week. She did something that I have rarely seen during all my travels.... she smiled and said "Sure, I can do that." Wow. Courtenee really made my week of training so much better just by granting that one wish. It made all the difference.

Customer service was atrocious! The front desk manager was extremely rude if not downright hostile...Did not honor my wife s reservation and offered no solution. Customer is never right at this hotel. Stay away unless you want to be treated like garbage.

I have been to this hotel in the past because it s easy on and off the highway...but never again.

The scenery outside is awesome.... three rooms were very nice but you can tell the building itself was in need of updates they need to implement before it becomes a hazard. The elevators are extremely old and very show. There were doors that were visibly damaged and light polls that looked like someone hit them with a vehicle and would fall over any second.

Great hotel. Stayed for a spur of the moment July 4th weekend getaway. Most beautiful landscaping and surroundings i've ever seen! Everything was perfect. Didn't want to leave!! Looks like the perfect wedding spot which my boyfriend and I are keeping in mind. :)

Excellent hotel! Pet friendly with spacious grounds, every different part of the hotel was prettier than the next. The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating, both in the restaurants and the hotel in general. Parking was a little bit of a pain as they were pretty filled up but the rest of the hotel certainly made up for it. Definitely recommended!

The only reason im giving this hotel a one star is because of the restaurant experience and also how comfortable my bed was i have stayed at this hotel on business trips and family trips so ive stayed here numeroys times but i will never ever come back here and will not recommend anyone going to this hotel. On saturday morning after breakfast befor going back to my room i stopped in the ladies room i was unsure someone was cleaning it and well as i was going in she was coming out and this lady named Cynthia was very rude with me she scolded me like i was a kid and told me to GO DOWNSTAIRS TO THE BATHROOM DOWN THERE BECAUSE SHE HAD ALOT OF CLEANING TO DO IN THE BATHROOM SHE WAS IN ....she mentioned that she always has to do so much work because of people she works with does not do there job. This lady cynthia clearly reeked of alcohol....i could smell alcohol on her breathe very bad . I am not sure why this hotel allows people to drink on the job but they do and that lady cynthia made me very uncomfortable by scolding me like i was a child along with explaing to me why she had to do so much work in the bathroom. I do not feel that me as a guest needs to hear about her issues ....i am highly offended by the smell of alcohol on her breathe . I WILL NOT RETURN OR HAVE ANY OF MY FRIENDS FAMILY OR ASSOCIATES SPEND MONEY AT THIS HOTEL . WE WILL NOT COME BACK . And no one for tht matter should stsy at a hotel where they allow there emplyees drink on the job. If i could smell the alchol i know other people could.

I came here for a conference with my real estate company. The only negative was the sit down dinner we had the night before, food was cold and service was slow. However, loved the location and the meeting room and the fact that for 2 days I didn't have to go anywhere. Food was better for every other meal.

Looooooove this place. It was not a planned stay but was available when we needed it. It had a resort type of feel with gazebos, golf and a beautiful pond. We slept so soundly and when I needed help finding ice in the middle of the night the staff came through in a pinch. We loved this place SO much, we are going to make a special trip JUST to spend a little more time here. Can't wait.

One of the best comfy beds we ever slept in. This is our third stay here. The staff or hotel seems to be inconsistent with each visit. We didn't get a complimentary breakfast this time, so we have to find a place to eat. They have a breakfast buffet, but if all you want is a bagel with creem cheese, you must pay $15 per person anyway, that is $60 for 4 toasts or eggs or bagels! :-) Other than that, we highly recommend, and we will return.

We visited for a wedding and it was beautiful. Staff were very nice and even took their time to teach my son to fold napkins (he thought it was the coolest!) We didn't stay overnight but we're in one of the conference rooms, had pictures taken on the grounds and visited the bar. Everything was fantastic.

I have been staying at this hotel for years, and since it changed ownership, it is not the same. I used to stop there on the way to the beach and have a drink on the patio. However, they now close the patio way early. I barely have time to grab a drink. The vibe is just not the same anymore. It's the same thing about the pool. The Wyndham times was fun; we would go to the pool at any time if we were. It is now dark and abandoned. I used to stay at this hotel because of the pool and the bar convenience. Since things have changed, my new spot will now be the new hotel up the street. I will at least walk to the bar and restaurants across the street.

Attended a conference in one of the ball rooms. The staff is extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. And the food served to the conference guest was top notch and constantly being replenished.

This is a beautiful hotel. Rooms are very clean and have a pleasant smell. Lots of hotels are musty. The front desk guy was very helpful. I had an 11pm check in and it can be confusing finding the correct building. The site location is beautiful and well maintained. Beds are comfortable and clean. I'm very picky on my hotels. The last Embassy Hilton I stayed in yesterday in Savannah was not good.

Came here for a conference. Stayed in a 2 queen room and it was fine. Pretty much what I expected, but clean and comfortable which is what really matters.

The conference portion was excellent. Facilities for the conference were great, food was good. Loved having everything all in one place.

This hotel is a giant property with lots to do on it! In one house is the suites, in another is check in and the third one we went into was the bar/restaurant lounge area. It's so peaceful and quiet! They do have lots of bee's around but honestly, that seemed like all of Ashland/Glen Allen. All and all we'd definitely stay there again!

This hotel is like a small campus and that makes it an interesting hotel. The building style is old colonial but the buildings were put together in the 80's. Connection between the buildings is quite novel, you can use the outside walkways or there are two tunnels going through the main building. The tunnels contain pictures and art works which are scenes from all over America.

I used the Tavern bar for some food and although what I ate was adequate the menu is quite limited.

The rooms are still in the process of being updated but the room I was in was finished and was in good order. Good sized bathrooms and plenty of drawer space and a slightly small closet, but it worked for me. If you get a room with a garden view you have won out, the rooms on the other side have a great parking lot view with about a dozen containers in sight, that is probably due to the ongoing renovations, so try and request the garden view.

When using the tunnels and the associated elevators there is a distinct damp smell but you are underground.

Gym is a good size but no nearby bathrooms or showers.

When I woke up on the first morning there was no power but there were storms the night before. I am surprised that there was no generator at least for some of the lights etc.

Pros: bed was comfortable, room was quiet other than the noisy refrigerator fan & very clean. Decor was pleasant but worn.
Cons: Couldn't open room's door all the way because the duct taped door control was broken. Bathroom door kept swinging open, wouldn't stay put. Floor in front of the shower was soaked and very slippery after showering.

Beautiful exterior and grounds, great breakfast, interior rooms were definitely aged but the hotel was recently acquired by Hilton and they do have placards explaining upcoming updates to the hotel.

Wyndham Virginia crossings hotel is an amazing place to have conferences and meetings of sorts. The place is huge with excellent staff. The conference room we used was pretty big with all the resources we needed for the meeting. The lunch buffet was very good with a great spread of food items. The deserts were too tempting, I usually don't eat any desert but I could not stop myself there.

The room was large and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room could have used some minor repairs/updating. Some of the caulking was loose in the bathroom and the cover for the bottom of the bed was visibly worn.

Stayed here few weeks ago and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was amazing and friendly - I would like to thank Selena, Roma (made amazing omelettes), Leonor, and Tracy. Also, the front office and housekeeping team were very helpful. Hope to see you guys again soon when we come back to the Richmond area.
