My parents (then in their 70s & 80s) stayed here often when visiting over holidays and during the summer. Loved the place... and we have since stayed here on a couple 'getaway' weekend, and loved it.

Quiet country club and neighborhood area near shopping and restaurants. Though near I-95, you really do not hear any noise at all. My folks put this place at the top of their preferred hotel list, and would have kinda freaked out if it was booked up when they wanted to come.

Pricing for hotel rooms here is actually fairly amazing... like 4 star accommodations at a 2 star price. They loved the Sunday breakfast buffet and also the food and drinks at the Tavern.

Neat, classic place to stay. Nice staff. Good housekeeping. Excellent food. Outstanding price. Very recommended.

Okay, Covid-19 changed a lot of things. And as much I may dislike that, I understand it. No pool? Fine, after all, public pools are kinda gross anyway. Mandatory Masks in public areas? Great, it is a requirement of the state. No, turndown service? The manager explained they were limiting the number of people going in and out of the room. Okay, make sense. My issues come from the fact that the bed was hard as a rock and the sheets seemed dingy. One of the pillowcases had a stain on it. The bed itched. Also, the room was dusty.
Nevertheless, there were some good parts of the hotel. The landscape was beautiful. I watched the sunrise over the golf course, it was like being in the mountains. Moreover, the restaurant was amazing. They made the best mimosa I ever have ever had, and the service was great. Still, I had to sleep with my clothes on, so there is that. And I was up at sunrise. That doesn t happen.

Stayed here a couple of times. Beautiful property. Went over twelve hours this weekend without hot water. Was refused a refund for the stay. Charged for Saturday night after trying to checkout Saturday morning.

The hotel property is expansive well groomed; rooms were impeccably clean. The property and its buildings provide the feel for the historic nature of the property and Virginia. Upon entering the main lobby you are greeted by luxury and charm. Jule, the front desk staff member greeted us very warmly and in rather quick fashion had our key ready, provided property layout and welcomed us to the area. Excellent hotel; will definitely stay again if in the area.

Terrible. Difficult to find. Poor check-in parking situation. Understaffed front desk - took literally 20 minutes to check in. Understaffed restaurant - horrible service, out of first 2 food options and first 2 beer options.
Then got to sweat through the night without AC in my room. In-room refrigerator wasn't working.
Not a 4 star establishment

This hotel truly deserves every star it was an amazing experience my mother, sister and myself stayed there for 2 days ( it was originally supposed to be overnight but we were so blown away we decided to stay there one extra day) and it was by far the best hotel that we stayed at during our road trip not only was the staff helpful they went out their way to just make you feel welcomed the breakfast buffet was amazing the staff in the dining area was just as nice and helpful and on top of everything the young man named Jewels that works at the front desk I am so glad that this hotel has him there he is such a sweet person he was extremely helpful and he went out his way to make sure that we were enjoying our stay by far the best front desk personnel that I have ever come across and we stayed at a resort and other hotels none can compare. one helpful hint that I would tell everyone is to make sure that you're getting the best price because it was actually cheaper to book directly with the hotel then it was a hotel website. The decor is amazing and if you have never been to Richmond Virginia I would definitely tell you to check out this hotel because it will make you feel like you have stepped back in time or you are royalty.

I had such high expectations after reading the reviews and seeing pictures of the "grounds". Not only was the place run down and both the pool and "hot tub" freezing cold, but the toilet in our room didnt even flush and nobody was suprised when we let them know. We had to call for the plunger everytime we used the toilet, and walls in the bathroom had mold on the walls. The people there were nice, but everything was an inconvenience, even when we asked for more coffee for the room since the pots in the lobby were not there one single time we looked during our stay. I would also say if you wany to go grab drinks you visit the bar/restaurant, but the food we got(what wasnt dropped on the floor by the waitress) was completely ineatable. I really wanted to like this place, but next time i visit Richmond i dont think i will be staying here

Great venue for professional conferences! Attentive staff, including A/V specialists. Wonderful event catering: breakfast, snacks, lunch, heavy hors d'oeuvres, desserts. Some attention needed to HVAC system to ensure a consistently comfortable atmosphere in all buildings and on levels.

I enjoy this hotel. Whenever I visit, it is never packed. It is in a golf course, so the grounds are beautiful. It is more a conference center location with many conference rooms and a very large dining room.

The dining hall is separate from the actual hotel rooms so beware, if you order room service, they have to wheel it on a cart from one building to the next. So you food may no longer be hot. It is just something to keep in mind. It is better to just walk there to eat.

There is a fitness center with a fair amount of equipment, medicine balls and a pilates ball. It is very clean and neat.

One thing I really like is the bathrooms are well lit. Ladies, you can actually put your makeup on in there.

When traveling in the cold months, the bathroom does not get warm.

All in all, a great and enjoyable stay!

A year ago I stayed here while with a group for a wrestling tournament and it was ok. This year for another tournament my group arrived before I did. I walked in to register for a stay for the next night. I provided the two ladies (one young, one older) with all my info (Honors #, Drivers License, Credit Card)...The whole time, I'm thinking that the reservation is being made. I started to get a little aggravated by the back and forth laughs and giggles between the two while they were entering my details (so I thought). They told me I was all set for my tomorrow checkin.

Next day, I returned to check thinking I had a reservation while my group was waiting at the lounge. Needless to say, I never checked in. The front desk clerk (older lady) played this whole song and dance pretending to look up a reservation that she knew she didnt enter. I let the charade go on for about 15 minutes as she pretended to act like I never stopped in there the day before although i repeated the dialogue from the day before and even stated the other clerks name which she was laughing and giggling with the day before.

At this time another guest came in and that's when she literally tried to look past me to assist the other guest.

Now this is approximately 25-30 minutes dealing with this lady and the only thing she could say was "are you sure you came in yesterday and made a reservation because we dont see you in our system". At this time, I was furious and asked her what did she do with all of the information I needed to provide them with yesterday. She persists to act stupid by saying I never was in there the day before and that I didnt make a reservation.

The guest who came in behind me who was waiting patiently began to ask if I was alright because it was visible what was going on. I told him it was a case of being too dark!

Even in the midst of all that, since, according to her, that I never made a reservation, not once was the offer made to create a new reservation until I grabbed my ID back and told her exactly what I felt about the situation (my being too dark and in my coaching gear).

To wrap this up, because of the profiling and BS I experienced at this establishment I ended up at the Residence! So I have the staff at Virginia Crossings to thank for making that happen and I doubt if I will ever stay at another Hilton! I know my group will reserving at other establishments because of the ordeal I went through!

Average hotel. In need of room renovations, specifically the bathroom. Had lots of bad caulking to correct gaps around the tub. Bathroom would steam up due to poor fan. Shower control was quirky and did not work well from overuse over the years. Parking was lacking...good luck if you get back from a late night wedding. The grounds are nice and it could be a much better place. Kind of like an interstate 95 hotel plopped onto a country setting with a golf course. What was the worst for me was they charged $50 to my card for incidentals? To be reimbursed upon checkout? Never heard such craziness. So upon checkout we had to go to the front desk in ANOTHER building? Such a mess. No express check out. Would not recommend.

Fantastic place and hidden gem that we've found on our long trip from CT to FL. HILTON-level of room comfort and cleanness, perfect place to sleepover or a having a conference. And breakfast were fantastic - even in covid times.

The Service was outstanding, room service was great I worked room service in college for Marriott in Milwaukee and this hotel has a great staff. I will take full advantage of this great place every time I am in Richmond.

I was pretty disappointed in this hotel. I understand that parts of the world are still in full-on pandemic crisis mode, but the reality is that a lot of places have begun a return to some semblance of normal. Not the Virginia Crossings Hotel. Upon arrival, I learned that none of their restaurants were open to serve any food....be it carry-out, dine-in, or room service. What kind of full-service hotel is like that? No way to secure a dinner at the place where you're staying? Given the mark-ups that hotels put on their food service, it only makes sense for this to be one of the first things to return, as things begin to re-normalize. Not here. Hilton Honors Gold member comped breakfast was even worse. All they offered was a bunch of pre-packaged, cardboard-tasting muffins and croissants. Want to make a piece of toast? Forget it. It was hard enough to get a hot cup of water to make tea. On top of the food nonsense, the room that I was assigned couldn't access television channels on the tv in my room. I started to wonder if the pillows would be safe. The next time that I'm in the Richmond area, I'm pretty sure I'll be looking to see what the Marriott properties offer.

A little confusing to find main office due to the multiple buildings that make up the hotel property. This is Wyndham's best hotel of its chain and it was a beautiful place to stay. I would recommend this place to everyone for a nice romanic/relaxing weekend

This place is absolutely stunning and serene. There are plenty of places to pray, play, or socialize. The guest rooms are traditional decor, but they are welcoming and full of sunlight. There is a reading niche with a sofa chair. Breakfast was great but is not included in stay; it's 15.00. The conditioner sample was amazing. The shower was hot. Our room had a mini fridge. There was no microwave or safe. There is a pool and jetted hot tub outside. The only real negative is the lack of parking.

Bad experience. Was looking forward to a great stay at this fancy resort. Instead, was given a room with inoperable TV. After calling for service, no one showed up. While waiting, a passing storm knocked out electric power further creating additional problems like no elevators to 3rd floor and no kitchen service and no available food.
Couldn't even leave property to dine due to full to capacity small parking lot. No where to park on return. SAD!
