This hotel is like a small campus and that makes it an interesting hotel. The building style is old colonial but the buildings were put together in the 80's. Connection between the buildings is quite novel, you can use the outside walkways or there are two tunnels going through the main building. The tunnels contain pictures and art works which are scenes from all over America.

I used the Tavern bar for some food and although what I ate was adequate the menu is quite limited.

The rooms are still in the process of being updated but the room I was in was finished and was in good order. Good sized bathrooms and plenty of drawer space and a slightly small closet, but it worked for me. If you get a room with a garden view you have won out, the rooms on the other side have a great parking lot view with about a dozen containers in sight, that is probably due to the ongoing renovations, so try and request the garden view.

When using the tunnels and the associated elevators there is a distinct damp smell but you are underground.

Gym is a good size but no nearby bathrooms or showers.

When I woke up on the first morning there was no power but there were storms the night before. I am surprised that there was no generator at least for some of the lights etc.
