I went there for DVG's annual Integral Prime 2016. It's a television broadcast and film expo that has show rooms and seminars about new equipment and technology to show for the year. The location was pretty amazing, looks wise, and the catered lunch was even better. The event could have used another entire room of vendors. I felt like there wasn't enough to show off. Again though, this location is pretty awesome too bad about the event though, it could have matched the vastness of the space.

Beautiful Colonial hotel! We stayed here as part of a work-related conference. This is in a nice suburban area of Richmond. The room was clean and comfortable. The Glen Restaurant had a great breakfast buffet. I missed lunch, but appetizers and drinks at the Tavern were very good. The conference room was setup nicely. All staff has been very accommodating and professional. Would love to come back.

I have been here a number of times over the years. I alway enjoyed this hotel, it is a little out of the way but had nice amenities and a good restaurant. Last visit was told it had undergone an ownership change and I have to say not for the better. Was disappointed in the menu and while they were undergoing some remodeling it just didn t have the same feel.

Buyer beware.. hotel advertises an outdoor pool as an amenity, however, front desk agent explained they are not allowed to comment at this time due to the covid-19 pandemic the status of their pool. As of this review hotels in this area are indeed allowed to open their pools at managers discretion so best to contact another hotel in the area who is able to comment on their amenities and provide them your business instead.

This hotel offered a comfortable, worry free stay! The staff was very friendly and so helpful throughout our (2 adults, 1 toddler) 3 night stay. The room was very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The cleaning staff did a great job of keeping all parts inside and out of the hotel looking great. The pool was so refreshing and clean! I can't say enough positive things about our stay here.

Nice rooms for the price we paid. We we're just staying the night as travellers up 95, so did not have time to enjoy the property or amenities. Took a while for us to find the check-in desk. Parking was sparse. Other than that, we had a fine stay.

LOOKS ARE DECEIVING

LOOKS ARE DECEIVING

I'm in room 451.
The place is beautiful & has a romantic aesthetic.
Rooms are great.
Beds are very comfortable.

**BEWARE: Internet isn't free, it's an extra $10 a day PER DEVICE.

It smelled of Marijuana, when I first stepped in the hotel.

Housekeeping staff are extremely loud.

The doors SLAM (loud boom) shut.

The people above me, in The Presidential Suite, were SO LOUD. Literally, pounding running footsteps of kids. Children crying. It's a madhouse!

The staff did NOTHING to help the situation!

I wish I could have rested...
I have a week here & haven't slept well.
Very, very, disappointed & unhappy customer.

My wife and I have lived in the Richmond VA area for 30 years and never had thought about this place since it is so close to where we live. With Covid and not being about to get away for the summer with our sons, we thought we'd try this place for our Anniversary. It was great. Very clean and different from your usual 'big box' hotels. Beautiful grounds everywhere. Food was excellent and prices great. Try their Brussel Sprouts. They are to die for. Wow.

For families with young kids or teenagers, it may be too quiet for them, but for those that are in their 30s and above and want something different and great for quiet and beautiful grounds this is the place for you. Sit back and relax.

Such a lovely place. Spacious, well appointed rooms. Clean, crisp, new, fresh and the most comfortable beds and bedding ever. The grounds are immaculate and such a joy to explore.

Happy hour is a great place to meet friends for a snack and a good place to make new friends if you re so inclined. The breakfast buffet and omelet station was first class as well.

Beautiful architecture abounds, both interior and exterior. Conveniently located for a quick weekend get away or a full fledged business conference. You can not go wrong with a stay at Virginia Crossings.

This is a great hotel. If you like historic Virginia, this is a place to stay. I'm biased because I'm from Virginia, but I've lived out of state for more than 20 years. This was a wonderful experience.

I travel for work and could have stayed at both Marriott or Hilton properties for free using points. I am so glad we chose not to. Stay here.

The accommodations were superb and the food was on point. Everyone at the hotel was welcoming, friendly, and more importantly genuinely nice. I also noticed how clean the meeting rooms were and the bathrooms. This place definitively lives up to its name.

Beautiful location, nicely appointed rooms, fast free internet. Breakfast was mediocre. My biggest complaint was the bathroom. Water pressure left something to be desired and they really need to install exhaust fans.

Wonderful hotel! Staff was great and accommodating to what we needed. Hotel room was great and pillows were super fluffy. Beautiful area, waking up to trees and the lake made each morning. Breakfast buffet was delightful and the staff were caring and attentive. Overall, beautiful grounds, front doors automatically open, would stay again.

I stayed one night at the Virginia Crossing to attend a symposium on-site the next day, but would have loved to stay longer mostly due to their amazingly kind, friendly and helpful service. The staff were wonderful. The rooms are a little dated in terms of design, but were spotless, comfortable and offered anything you could need from a refrigerator to usb ports next to the bed. It s a little off the beaten path and only has a golf course within walking distance but it d make a great get-away for the night or beautiful spot for a wedding. The food we were served from the restaurant was delicious and the servers were wonderful.

The rooms were filthy and old, the restaurant was very good and grounds are pretty. But who cares about that when it's time for bed or shower. Don't waste your money here or take chances on illness from horrible maid service and management!

This is a wonderful place to stay. I was very surprised at what I got for my money since the price was very fair for this area. Comfortable clean rooms, good A/C, nice staff just to name a few things. They have just about all the amenities you would need including a pool, hot tub, volleyball sand court, basketball court, amazing restaurant and tavern all on site. The food is amazing and the tavern staff are the best.

Stayed at the hotel and attended a conference at the conference center. I must say it was a marvelous experience! The staff from beginning to end were fantastic! They did not hesitate to accommodate us once. Taylor at the front and Eli at the tavern were phenomenal! The rooms were beautiful, bathroom was a great size.

We checked in late and the attendant was very helpful and polite. The room was nice and roomy with very comfortable beds and the shower was nice with good water pressure which is getting hard to come by it seems. Would definitely stay here again and wish we had more time on this stay.

Really nice atmosphere, clean spacious rooms, pool and hot tub. Quite crowd, places for dog walking, restaurant and ball room. Check in/out was really quick and easy, staff is polite and helped me out tremendously with location of the pool and issues with one of my room cards.

One of the best hotels I ve ever been to! Went on a weekend where there were no conferences for a personal getaway, and I couldn t have asked for a better experience. The room was beautiful, grounds were fantastic, and breakfast is well worth the price of $12.00. Ended up not spending much time anywhere else because the hotel was so great! Super friendly staff as well. Was originally thinking of booking a more expensive hotel in downtown Richmond, but I m so glad I didn t.

Looking forward to coming back in the spring and seeing this place in all its glory with the pool/hot tub/etc.

If you re on the fence- just book it. You won t regret it!!
