Our agent was Andy Harris, he was super responsive (even on the weekends). This was our first home we were purchasing and he was always there to help us and provide advice through the process.

I first contacted Andy on January 2015. I got an offer on my house and I was ready to buy a new one. I searched for different mortgage companies. Nobody offer an expedited service and rates as Vantage did. I heard that local lenders made sense. The sale of my house failed and I had to back off... This happened again, and it was after the third attempt that I was able to sell and then buy. Andy had the patience of the world, the second and third attempt was not a start over. All the documents pretty much were on file. Out of the stress of selling the place, my relief was the assurance and support of Vantage. Selling my place took eight months!, I had the opportunity to search around for new quotes. There is no rival to buy local and Vantage Mortgage has a stellar and highly competitive service.

We have had the pleasure of working with Vantage Mortgage Group on two home loans now. They came highly recommended and live up to every expectation. They are thorough and expedite/communicate in extremely timely manner. In the future if we ever need another home loan, we will definitely be return customers, yet again.

I just refinanced my home through Vantage Mortgage Group. Best experience I have ever had with mortgages. Andy and his staff were excellent from start to finish. Communication was outstanding and prompt, all questions were answered, and the process was painless and quick. Closing costs were very reasonable, and the interest rate was the lowest I could find. Thanks to Andy's expert knowledge of the wholesale mortgage market, I was able to consolidate my (5-year old) 30-year fixed rate mortgage (4.875%) and HELOC (variable rate) into a single 15-year fixed rate mortgage (3.125%). My total monthly payment (including taxes and insurance) on the new mortgage is the same as what I had been paying on the old mortgage plus HELOC. My home will now be paid off 10 years sooner (setting me up for an earlier retirement!) and I will save tens of thousands in interest costs over the life of the new mortgage (as compared to the old one).

Andy was referred to me by a very old and trustworthy friend. He was very quick to follow up on communication with me from day one. He spent the extra time to fill me, having been completely new to the process of buying a home, in on the abundance of details. Working with Andy Harris and team was one of the best decisions we made when buying a home. He was very responsive and always had answers to our questions. We had to run several different estimates on homes and we always received then within a few hours of sending him the address. This review is a bit late, we closed in Sept. 2014. I can't say enough good about Andy. This was my first home buy, a foreclosure, and there were a lot of hoops to jump through with the bank. We closed on time, I never once was waiting for a response to a question I had. Any time I called him, day or night, he would answer, happy to help. Emails would get responses late into the night.

Everything was paperless as other reviewers have said. He really knows the landscape to make it as efficient as it was. He's extremely sharp, and gave me a ton of confidence. Absolutely honest as well, and it takes a lot to earn my trust when it comes down to even the smallest deals. I never once detected a shade of anything to raise my suspicions.

And to top it all off, when all was said and done it was the cheapest option for us.

We will absolutely work with Andy again, we will absolutely recommend him to others, and I wish him the utmost best with his business as it is clear he has a passion for high quality service.

Andy and Vantage Mortgage Group are phenomenal! My wife and I are both currently in the military and the Army decided to move us to Washington where we decided to purchase a home. After shopping multiple lenders, to include all the big names, Vantage Mortgage was the most honest, upfront, helpful lender we could find. Their rates, pricing, and more importantly honest transparency were something to be applauded. They truly look out for the consumer and fight for the best deal all the while walking you through the process and educating you on all the details. Truly can't thank Andy and his team enough.

Most positive experience ever. VA refinance process completed much faster than original estimate and everything was exactly as described from start to finish. Andy is a great communicator and there's no such thing as a dumb question. The only surprises we had were pleasant one's. First off, I have to say that this team is AWESOME!! Amanda and Liz are the epitome of professional and responsive!!

A bit of background- I had paid off all of my debts after selling my old house, but my credit score was still not where I thought it should be. Amanda thought the same thing and did a little digging. She was able to uncover that I had a medical bill that went to collections during my move across the country, unbeknownst to me. She was able to give me amazing guidance on how to get that removed. Once I was able to talk to the collection agency to get that deleted from my record the credit score went up 100+ points!!!! AMAZING!

Fast forward to actually putting offers in on houses, yes myriad houses! This team is second to none! If I asked them to run numbers on this property or that property I knew that those numbers would be waiting in my inbox in a timely manner. They were there to talk to the listing agents to make sure they were representing us as best as possible. This made a difference and I believe that it was one reason the sellers accepted our offer.

They always had kind, supportive words to get us through this crazy Portland market. Even when we were rejected 4 other times they kept telling us that "the right house is out there and you will find it!" As hard as it was to accept the rejection they kept us going.

Now on to the Corona-virus craziness! This team called me multiple times as rates were bouncing all around once the offer was accepted. They gave me all the information I needed to make educated decisions on the best product. Once I decided to lock in they took over and kept us updated throughout the entire process. Even when there were some things that might have delayed our closing they kept in contact and we were able to bring this 11 month adventure to a close (figuratively and literally!!). I highly recommend this team as they are there to make sure you get what makes sense to you and your situation!

I cannot say enough good things! We worked predominantly with Yumi and a little with Andy while buying a home in Salem, Oregon. Both were incredibly responsive. For example, when we needed a new offer letter or had a question we generally recieved a response in 15-30 minutes, even during evening hours. This was appreciated because in a hot market, you often need to make offers and negotiation-related decisions quickly. I did some rate comparisons before choosing a lender and found that their rates were generally lower than others. As first-time home buyers, we had a number of questions and Yumi was always very helpful in providing valuable information up front and helping us weigh the pros and cons. I will be referring our friends and family.

We recently wanted to take advantage of the low interest rates and decided to refinance. Todd Gydesen helped us with our home a few years ago, but had moved over to Vantage. We started with our original lender, but did not have a great experience with their customer service. Thankfully, I kept Todd s email with new contact information.
