I just refinanced my home through Vantage Mortgage Group. Best experience I have ever had with mortgages. Andy and his staff were excellent from start to finish. Communication was outstanding and prompt, all questions were answered, and the process was painless and quick. Closing costs were very reasonable, and the interest rate was the lowest I could find. Thanks to Andy's expert knowledge of the wholesale mortgage market, I was able to consolidate my (5-year old) 30-year fixed rate mortgage (4.875%) and HELOC (variable rate) into a single 15-year fixed rate mortgage (3.125%). My total monthly payment (including taxes and insurance) on the new mortgage is the same as what I had been paying on the old mortgage plus HELOC. My home will now be paid off 10 years sooner (setting me up for an earlier retirement!) and I will save tens of thousands in interest costs over the life of the new mortgage (as compared to the old one).
