My experience with the City of Madison Water Department was not what I expected. The service was extremely poor and the staff seemed uninterested in helping me with my issues. I had to wait for hours on the phone before getting any assistance. I hope they improve their customer service in the future.
The water quality provided by the water department is satisfactory. However, I faced some difficulties in reaching out to their customer service. It would be better if they improve their response time.

I had a fairly average experience with the City of Madison Water Department. The customer service was decent, but nothing really stood out. The water quality was fine and I didn't have any major issues with billing or maintenance. Overall, I would say it was an average experience.
HORRIBLE customer service & billing department. They can't do their job. When asked to TRANSFER account another family member for an installment plan which they said they will do... They didn't. Instead, they dropped the ball and how did they fix THEIR mistake? They pushed it onto the taxes as a lump sum. When we called and asked them to correct the error they said NOPE and it's up to ourselves and said "good luck". Thanks!
Communication is poor and billing cycles are confusing as all get-out. Website is poorly setup and counterintuitive. The people are generally pretty helpful though.
