very satisfied with uc. Especially the savings system every year for 350 euros because I take out health insurance and energy. Last week I had a chance call from someone to save money on whether or not I wanted to make the switch. After their offer with which I would receive energy via budget, it was not seen because I was more expensive. So now I know for sure that I'm good with united consumers!

fucked-up company, have been a member of for years, for reasons I have started to fall behind with payment terms, get a letter that they will stop the delivery after you have contacted them, and you should not worry that they are going stop the delivery, because you have been a customer for years, then you have paid the amount, you are back at zero, you will receive a cool message that they are going to revise whether or not they want to keep you as a customer, if they don't very quickly in a day, go find another energy company, otherwise you have a chance of a fine of city, for me never again united consumers, NO AGREEMENTS AFTER

Very nice that you build up discounts and can pay this out as extra pocket money.

And the more products that you place at an affordable price, the better your piggy bank. Everything is neatly arranged.

Never seen anyone say that I had better wait a while to transfer the energy contract to them. But they said I had a good contract and better wait until this ends. And so it happened.

Now also have energy via united consumers. M curious!

After a long wait for payment of the accrued disco...

After a long wait for payment of the accrued discount, I find out that the account number after which United consumers has transferred it is not my account number. Because there is 1 digit missing in the account number in '' my united consumers ''. Strange, because premium has been debited monthly for 5 years. In that case, the debits do go through a member insurer of united consumers, but they have actually received the account number to debit from united consumers. If you contact me about this rather strange incident they give me the feeling that it is my own fault, I would have given an incorrect account number. Or I want to prove what my account number is by sending a copy of a bank card or bank statement. I chose to do this today since a solution without this action is apparently not possible?

If the further processing goes quickly and smoothly, I will also report it here, as this case is not yet over, I think that is fair.

I have now offered a correct solution and the discount has been compensated. Top!

electricity and gas decreased from April 2019, so I expect to receive an annual overview around the same date April 2020 and possibly get money back according to my calculation, no overview seen in May 2020, I just called one and was told that when reading was a failure at the supplier so it did not work, while I do get the monthly usage overview, ok, I have to believe that, but it was immediately said that they have legal time 8 weeks after April 2020 to only then the overview and so I do not get a refund until ..... .. I don't like that, I get the impression that a refund is just being held for a few weeks. or am I saying something crazy? I will wait, it will make me wonder. I'll let you know. I do not receive a response to my email

The worst service anyone could hope for. People in the customer service are unfriendly and not willing to help. Plus, the offers they have seem more like a scam. It takes more than 1 month to process a contract which was made and eventually, they harass you with some arbitrary deposit.
Thanks for nothing.

What a worthless and non-people-oriented society. Last year switched to UC for energy (gas and electricity). This year in February we decided to sell our house because of new jobs for both. Unfortunately our new house is not yet available, so all contracts must be canceled. No problem for anyone except UC. We are not entitled to our discount which was concluded with the contract, not even a small part of it. And finally we get a fine because we allegedly breach the contract and it is "our problem that we have no other home". Ridiculous. Never again a UC service in our house.

I would have lost my many years of claim-free years because I just fell outside the period stated above. Thanks to UnitedConsumers, through a leniency request from UnitedConsumers to the insurance company, I have recovered my 10 claim-free years.
I think this is true service and commitment to the customer.

Sending you unsolicited LIES emails with them that the energy would be 400 euros cheaper, is not listed per year or per 5 years. If I really want to know who is the cheapest, I go to an impartial energy supplier site myself and I did that by entering my postcode house number; 1st place Welcome Energy 1249E per year / 8th place United Consumers 1343E per year !!! and the most expensive in 10th place GreenNL 1352E per year. So that 400 Euro cheaper is a BIG LIE! this must be 100 E per year MORE EXPENSIVE than Welcome Energy which is the real cheapest. This whole company is a BIG LIE!

My mother was a client with them and had a contract for 3 years. She died early January and yesterday I received the final bill. I am surprised to see that they charge a fine of 50 for breach of contract for both the gas bill and the electricity. The post is addressed to the heirs.
Immediately called and the lady was very nonchalant about this, "oh that ks weird, I'll go find it out"
I now receive a new note ,. So next of kin: look carefully at the bill, you can imagine that you think it is true, make sure that they secretly put some money in their pockets.

Good system to build up a discount. Unfortunately you don't have to rely on the information on site. It says "between 10th and 15th the discount will be paid, if you indicate it before the 10th" It will then usually be later, it would then be omitted.

I switched to UnitedConsumers last year (reimbursement policy in combination with supplementary insurance). In the end I am not happy with my choice. I thought I was well insured, but too often situations have occurred where I do not consider myself helped. Declining went very smoothly a number of times. More often, however, I was told that I could not count on my money.
A situation occurred in which I wanted a partial reimbursement for a treatment for my back. This treatment would fall under my supplementary insurance. However, they did not have contracted practitioners for the treatment I wanted (one that is recommended by the scientific community based on review studies). One option, but through Google it turned out to be 'out of business'. I had already found a suitable practitioner myself, but I was not allowed to go there, while the practitioner has an excellent reputation. I was finally treated by her (to great satisfaction), but I had to pay for it myself. Keep in mind that UC has lost as much money as there is or is not a contracted party because there is a maximum reimbursement at a time. Very bland.

UPDATE: I have since received a response from UC to my review as can be read below. I would like to express that I was already aware that the aforementioned treatment does not fall under the basic but the supplementary insurance. My problem is not that the reimbursement policy only applies to the basic insurance, but that UC could not offer me a suitable contracted practitioner. Because I did need the treatment, I was finally treated. The practitioner where I ended up turned out to be one of the best I have ever had with my back problems. Very competent. But I have not received any reimbursement from UC. Due to UC's own rules, a maximum reimbursement per treatment applies. So they had never lost more money on my treatment than with a contracted party. I, on the other hand, had to pay for everything myself. In my eyes, this indicates that UC is not doing its best enough to help me get the care I need.

Insurance taken out based on information on website. Info was incomplete and turned out to be different (Website still under construction they said). Insurance should be canceled anyway, according to the website, but you guessed it, this was not so easy, but certainly not as stated on the site.
They are certainly not the cheapest, but the worst in execution!

He hangs up after the 6th time! WELL DONE! Otherwise I would have done it! And oh well, 1 star for his dignity to hang. Maybe next time just no more calls!

I have been a member for over 12 years. I saved 2700 on my expenses during this period. If I have a question I will be helped nicely. I have good insurance with VGZ and have a low premium through united consumers.

I also find VGZ a very customer-friendly organization. During a change of employer, he had decided that my collective insurance with CZ would be converted to a private one. I had registered with VGZ myself again. CZ refused to cancel my insurance which I had not even taken out. When I reported this story to VGZ, they canceled my registration and refunded all payments. I find that customer friendly.

Further discount on refueling with my fuel card.

As far as I'm concerned keep going on.

We have just moved to the Netherlands from the USA and applied for insurance through VGZ UnitedConsumers. We were accepted very quickly, and they have been great about emailing me in English, which I really appreciate. Obviously as we deal with coverage in the future, I will edit my review accordingly. But so far, the process has been super easy and I've been very impressed!

We are very satisfied with UC, firstly because the prices are sharp and tidy: we always get a nice amount back because we have a mobile subscription and two health insurance policies through them.
But also because the service here is good: we have had serious problems with Tele 2 transferring our mobile subscription (because Tele2 does not cover 4G everywhere but does not put it in their terms either, so the only way was to leave it : buy off all 11 remaining months) and that was not due to UC. Lucy Maduro from the customer service has put a lot of energy into it and through her the contract could be dissolved at Tele2, something we really hadn't succeeded !! Lucy, there is a treat on your way because we are very happy with all your help & the clear communication from you to us! Enjoy it!!! Well deserved!

No idea what this business, but I do not take me seriously by them. I have taken out insurance through them but has since been beset with advertising messages. If you want to unsubscribe from the emails, you will be directed to their website where you can sign out everything. But a few days later be laughing all the advertisement mails registered for you. Despite several cancellations and emailing back and forth with promises that I was now really written, "I still receive advertising messages. I am not helped here. This already takes 4 months.

They increase your monthly amount without consultation. They believe they can already see what you are going to use after being a customer for 1 month !!! They do this based on historical data. They do not give advice "it seems wise to increase your monthly amount" but do that themselves without consultation. With me a lot of measures have been taken for saving energy, you have to explain that to them on the phone before they want to reverse it. Totally the wrong method, the world turned around!

Yesterday application but no confirmation received. Called over this morning: 'you have to request it again'. If that did not work, it was also possible by telephone.
Not very customer friendly but ok. Filed again. According to the site, I got a rate of 174, -. Nowhere does it say that the discount will only be paid after one year. The confirmation states a term of 194.00. Nowhere is the difference explained.
Called again: 'yes you can request the discount after a year'.
I find this utterly misleading. The request has therefore just been canceled immediately. Still looking for a supplier that does not save with my money.

Very poor organization that only wants to recruit participants, but once connected, the misery starts and they no longer do anything for their 'participants'. United Consumers has regularly been negative in the news with all kinds of consumer programs such as Radar where attention was paid to these malpractices.

I myself have experience with the health insurance branch. Years ago I took out health insurance through UC but when I moved to Spain I was obliged to be insured there. I canceled my health insurance policy (which was very difficult via UC) but in the end this seemed to be done. A few years later it appeared that this health insurance policy was never canceled and that is why VGZ registered me with payment arrears. At least once a year I receive an e-mail in which UC reports about an alleged payment arrears, but when you ask for something substantively and you try to tell your story over and over, they refer you to VGZ. They are not allowed to make any announcements because of the 'privacy legislation' Unbelievable if you were a member of United Consumers 'as a participant'. After all, they write in the mail:

"As your intermediary, we are interested in why you have not yet paid your premium. If possible, we will help you to resolve the situation. If you have already paid your premium, you can of course use this email as consider not sent. "

Employees of United Consumers are short, not customer-oriented and often even rude. They are not at all interested in a reason, let alone offering a solution.
I will therefore consider this umpteenth e-mail again but not sent.

In short, don't be tempted by all kinds of nice talks and telephone offers. This party is unreliable and not service oriented.

For me, this organization is nothing more than a bunch of cowboys. Complaints could be made by telephone both according to their own website and according to the general conditions. In practice, the staff is instructed simply not to accept complaints.

The tone that is used by the employees is shameful and UnitedConsumers sends shameless emails with advertising. That is what they call information facilities and newsletters. The advertising code committee will certainly have a different opinion about this.

Furthermore, the conditions in themselves are best described as vague. And if there is a dispute, then as a customer you do not have any rights, and all articles that are to be arranged properly are completely ignored when UnitedConsumers does not suit. For themselves, however, the general conditions are sacred and they invoke themselves accordingly.

Stay away! Simple souls who absolutely do not know how to act fairly and fairly.

You choose for it, stretched a lot.

United Consumers calculates a term amount that is ...

United Consumers calculates a term amount that is 50% higher than the actual costs. Whatever I try, United Consumers does not reduce the amount and continues to write off more than 300 instead of 200 euros. After a year I will get 1200 euros back. A far too high advance amount cannot be the intention. Don't fall for it. Moreover, United Consumers only gives 1 invoice per year. For small business users, who regularly make VAT returns, this is very inconvenient. You want to settle your energy costs regularly but you don't have any invoices for that.

United Consume responds with a standard answer. "We get your advance data from the consumption of the last 5 years." Lovely people. I am a brand new customer. My consumption data (200 euros) per month comes from my previous energy supplier. United Consumers adds 100 euros. I've already called twice. Nothing has changed. Of course I sent my old annual invoice. It is a good appearance.
