I had a great experience at this dealership. I've been dreading the car shopping process prior to visiting this dealer. I was recommended to request Noe Enriquez for the Salesman with Toyota. It was a great choice. Noe was very patient, nice and helped answer all of my questions, he made the process very smooth and painless. I didn't feel pressured into any purchases, just that he wanted to help! His manager, Mike Aly, helped make me a great deal with the vehicle. I stayed within my budget and left completely happy! I would highly recommend. Thank you!

Best deal out of 4 dealerships on my Tundra. Friendliest employees, NO PRESSURE! As easy an experience as it can possibly be. Lamont Perry is an excellent sales associate and the finance guy, Dave Farner, was a pleasure to do business and chat with. So glad I drove the 97 miles!

They will have a sandwich made for you if you get hungry!

I went into Toyota of Tampa Bay with one goal in mind, buying a new car. I went in kinda anxious because I had never bought a car before. My first car was a gift from my parents and I have been driving that ever since. I went in with the vehicle to trade and was OUTSTANDINGLY helped by Gabriel Forehand, who in my honest opinion is the hardest working man there. I wasn't pressured into anything, I told him what I was looking for and what my price range was and he took everything into consideration when selecting a vehicle for me to test drive. A few hours and a down payment later and I'm driving away on my NEW 2018 Toyota Camry LE. Gabriel, the great worker he is, made sure I had everything I needed all set up and ready to go. From my Entune 3.0 system to my bluetooth connectivity. I will definitely be sending some of my friends, family and even total strangers to Toyota Of Tampa Bay and telling them "Go see Gabriel, not only is he gonna get you a GREAT deal on a car but he isn't going to rest until you are 150% Happy.

I love having my car serviced at Toyota of Tampa Bay. All the representatives are extremely nice and friendly. They often provide humor as well. The staff are always willing to go above and beyond for me. In fact, I was recently there for an oil change, tire rotation, and to change my air filter. After I paid for my services, I realized one of the coupons I had was not applied. After showing the receipt to one of the reps, he saw the mistake and sincerely apologized for the mistake and rectified the situation by giving me a complimentary oil change for future use. Which I appreciated greatly. He didn't try to "shrug" me off or even try to argue with me (I've experienced this before at other places). He listened to me and solved my problem. They truly understand what customer service is all about. I also like that while customers are waiting for their car to be serviced they have access to the movie theater, video games, and can receive a complimentary massage or even a manicure. I have never seen a car dealership offer all these things free of charge before.

Overall, I enjoy coming to this dealership for servicing. I have and will continue to recommend people to go to Toyota of Tampa Bay for their car's needs. Keep up the good work!

Thank goodness for late service hours. I went to start my car only to find it was making a weird noise. Luckily, I was able to get it towed to Toyota of Tampa Bay before 11pm for them to be able to work on it so I could get it back the next day.

Overall I had an absolutely horrible experience at Toyota of Tampa Bay. I went into the dealership on a Sunday afternoon knowing exactly what vehicle I was going to purchase, I was paired with a new salesperson who had only been on the job for a week. He seemed like a nice enough guy at first, but 5 HOURS LATER after dragging his feet and not knowing the protocol for the sale, he flat out sexually harassed me when I was getting ready to leave. If he would have just stopped at asking me out it wouldn't have been that big of a deal, but instead he climbed into the back seat of my just paid for new car, asked me if I'd like to join him, and proceeded to make a gesture that I feel is to inappropriate to mention in this review. Needless to say, I was blown away!

The next day I called the manager (Anthony), to not only share that experience, but also because I found two dents in my car that had not been pointed out to me. Anthony apologized and said, "We will fix the dents and would you like me to have the sales person send you an email or call you to apologize for his actions?" SERIOUSLY??? No, I said, just fix my car. The next two weeks were a real hassle trying to get that done and aside of that first call or two, Anthony would never answer his phone to address the issues, he would only text me, an obvious avoidance tactic.

The repair was finally taken care of, but since then I have called to try and talk with the general manager in order to figure out if I can get my oil changes and maintenance checks done at a different dealership but no one will answer or return my calls. At this point, I'm going to have to look into other options to get them to respond. Honestly, I could add even more about my awful experience at this dealership but this review is already too lengthy. What it comes down to, is the unprofessionalism of this dealership is appalling. I would highly recommend that anyone, especially women, visit another Toyota dealership when looking to purchase a new vehicle.

I just purchased my second vehicle from this dealership. My first vehicle buying process was smooth, simple and fair. During this trade/sale there was an issue with the terms and the manager David Farner came out. He was very forthcoming, direct and fair. I have done almost all of my services at this dealership as well which has also been great. Friendly and fair.

2017 edit: Wish they would stop calling me. I obviously don't like you.

Mostly dissatisfied. My vehicle has had some recalls, so I take them into the dealer to repair, and was always happy. I decide to get an oil change there based on my previous free experiences, was not thrilled. I had a coupon for oil change and tire rotation. Nearly done, and the service advisor comes in to tell me that my hub cap lock key "broke" and that they were unable to do the tire rotation. I was then showed the broken key and he said 'there's a number on it here, you can probably buy a new one by searching that", bullshit, how about YOU give me a new one? They obtained said key, by the way, by going into my glove box without my permission. I was then charged full price even though they invaded my space, broke my stuff, and did not perform the services paid for.

So I drove off, hoping to never return. I get the car up to about 20 mph, wheel starts shaking. so unfortunately I had to return. I pull up, get the service advisor, and he says "...They didn't even touch the tires...I don't know what to do" Smooth. They take it in and fix whatever they screwed up, and made me late to work. Thanks Toyota!

One star cannot possibly describe the extent of my dissatisfaction with the experience I had at Toyota of Tampa Bay with one particular manager. I was in the market for a 2016 Toyota 4Runner and was attended a salesman by the name of Sami, who was excellent and knowledgeable. However, when I went inside to receive a quote, the business manager Paul Shuvra refused to consider even matching a competitive quote I received on the same spec vehicle from Clearwater Toyota. When I asked him to give me a competitive price, he responded by asking when we planned on purchasing the vehicle. When I answered that it would be the next week he replied shortly with "Then I'll give you a price next week." His response was rude and unprofessional. How am I possibly supposed to purchase a vehicle from them when he refuses to give me a price competitive with other dealers? As we left, a sales representative came up and apologized for his behavior. I am amazed that Paul is in a position where he is dealing with customers, not only because of his terrible attitude, but also because of his utter incompetence at selling cars. Due to the experience that I had with this man, I am no longer even considering purchasing a vehicle from Toyota of Tampa Bay.

I went in to Toyota thinking i was just going to look around because my credit score isn't at its best, but instead i drove off with an SUV!!!! Thanks Johnny De Micco you REALLY gave me and my lil ones great service to even making sure my lil ones felt as comfortable as possible!! Your the Best!

Humberto and his team were considerate of my time constraints and financial limits for this particular service visit. My truck was serviced as promised and washed 20 minutes ahead of time. I likely caught a lull in activity, but I felt as though the team pushed through the work due to his emphasis on my timeline. I greatly appreciate it when the service team makes good on timeline and expectation of price for repairs.

I can only say good things about Toyota of Tampa Bay. Our new 2013 Camry is the 3rd Camry we have purchased from them since 2002. Have ALWAYS had the best service that any customer could ask for, Clifford Sharpe is always somewhere in the service area to greet me, and over the last few years Jay Nigro has taking care of setting up all my service needs and has always been so very helpful.
In the past, I avoided having any type of car repairs done at a dealership because of all the bad rap I had heard of overpricing etc. HOWEVER, I have always felt very confident that any service that is needed on my vehicles is surely what needs to be done at a fair and resonable cost. I look forward to continuing to enjoy the confidence of having my new Camry taken very good care of at Toyota of Tampa Bay!!

Every time I go to get my car serviced the staff has never let me down. They are quick to get me in and very efficient with the job. While I wait, I am provided with everything from the free coffee to the movie room upstairs that has Netflix. And if i choose to sit downstairs there are electric outlets just below my seat to charge my laptop or my phone. They also provide the free WiFi so I get to handle a few of my business transactions while I wait. The service team at Toyota go above and beyond to make me comfortable.

I was traveling through the area and noticed one of my headlights was out. I normally attend another dealership. Mersaidis approached me as was so eager to help me even though it was after 5pm on a Saturday. She quickly replaced my headlight bulb and had me on my way.

Mersaidis, thank you so much for your courteousness and efficiency in my time of need.

I am very disappointed in the service provided by the Used Car managers. I purchased a vehicle from a little over a month ago and have had nothing but issues with the car. I live out of town and have had to come back to get things fixed yet weren't fixed, my battery was completely dead after a few weeks of purchase. When i call I get the run around. No one has answers. The general manager has not called me back after multiple messages left. I bought my car there because Toyota is a corporate well known dealership but I fell like o bought a buy here pay here car.....i definitely expected better service and a running car!

I went here for a $26K cert. used Tacoma and they tried to up the price to $33K. Finance manager tried to short me $3K for my trade in; they don't tell you they charge $1600 additional to certified the Toyota. This place is a ripoff joke. Salesman was nice but the Finance Manager was a JO. Don't go here without bringing someone savvy with you or you'll get screwed.

I can't say bad things at all about this dealer and team. I had a really good sales associate (Kevin Zapata) he helped me throughout the whole process and still does , The financial department helped me so much as well (David F). If you looking for a car Toyota of Tampa Bay is the place to be at.

Went in for an oil change and was told I need a new rear hub and would cost $650. $400 for the part and 2 hours at $125 an hour. Went to O'Reilly's got the part for $100 and did myself in 45minuted with hand tools. Had an ABS light indicator on they wanted $135 an hour to check it. O'Reilly's checked it for free in less than 3 minutes.

I went their service center this week as my car LR tire has pressure issues and maintenance of car..service manager was good and listened to my issues .i waited around an hour to find whats wrong with tire. He told me your tire cannot be repaired as it is punchred by nail on near to valve and asked me pay 225$ if i want to purchase new tire. I refused to do it and asked him to do tire rotation and oil maintenance. In another 15 minutes my car was ready and he told me tires are roatated and oil maintenance is also done . Since he said tire cannot be repaired i started searching new tire but i wanted to check with mechanic before i purchase new one so i went to one. To my surprise, tire was still on LR end and it seems tires were never roatated.Nail was there in my tire but it was in middle of tire and we all know that can be repaired easily. He fixed my tire in $15 and car is running well..i would never step my foot in this location, they are just lying to people to make more money...

The sales man that took care of us went above and beyond for us! His name is Richard Cosme. Me and my husband went in looking to upgrade from our Toyota Corolla to something bigger. We didn't have anything specific in mind. We just wanted something bigger and newer since our family grew. But our only strict request was to stay in our budget. Richard showed us several potential options in their inventory, worked hours getting us estimates on every car we liked. He advocated for us like if he was the one paying for it. He presented different options, the pros and cons of buying a new or used car and the benefits of leasing without pressuring us. At one point I told my husband "I am hungry" Richard went and bought us some food!!! And refused to get refunded. I was amazed with his dedication and quality of work. We ended up getting a Toyota Highlander with the monthly payments that I wanted from the beginning. I will recommend his service to everyone looking to buy a car.

The facility has gone through many changes throughout the months, but it's clear those changes were related to their improvement of quality!

I bought a car here a few years ago and they were really helpful. I also had to take that same car to the body shop for repairs after 5 different accidents (They weren't all my fault! That car was cursed. Lol) They always did a great job with the repairs and it made it much easier having a Geico rep right there on site. Their service department was really good too.

6/6/20 - I am amending my response from a while ago from two stars to one star. Toyota of Tampa Bay Service Dept. has gone from bad to worst. As a long time customer who has purchased several vehicles from this establishment, I will no longer patronage for any future purchases or vehicle service. I take the blame entirely for continually having my vehicle serviced here and expecting a different result. It has taken me awhile to realize "Chris, you're just not getting it....Toyota of Tampa Bay will not change." I am now resolved to not having Toyota of Tampa Bay harsh my mellow any longer. I am simply going somewhere else.

No doubt they are very good at the initial point of sale. Many of the customer reviews reflect this. They are also good at accosting customers, there solely for vehicle service, about getting into a new vehicle at or below what they are currently paying (this is highly dubious). I find the practice to be predatory and highly suspect. They certainly put a great effort into their selling tactics, yet put very little into the "customer experience" at the Service Dept. My opinion is to simply avoid Toyota of Tampa Bay all together and go somewhere else. Why pay someone to frustrate you? Life is good at dishing out frustration for free.

Great on the initial point of sale, but the subsequent service has been absolutely terrible. And my wife and I have dropped 50k on two new vehicles with them Late on payoffs for the trade-ins, which put us into an issue with the bank. We now have expired dealer tags because we haven't received anything from the State. No doubt they are way behind on their back office duties. Both of our initial service appointments for our new vehicles have had issues. We received our vehicles in very dirty condition. My wife's interior was stained with grease or oil. I received my vehicle back with dust or soot covering my interior and to top it all off, they handed me the keys for me to hunt down my own vehicle after the service. I had to do that with a car seat and three year old in tow. Everyone else there that day had the vehicles brought up to them. So far my wife and I are not very impressed with them.

I switched this back to a 5 star review. My sales representative Abe is one of the best guys out there. Normally, when going to a car dealership you get alot of talk but no straight answers. Abe sat me down and went over my realistic options available for me and gave it to me straight with no smoke and mirrors. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to him.

-I left with a smile on my face today, Darrell was awesome! He gave me a rundown of the issues that were in my car and gave me options on what I should do next, but he also was very understanding if things could not be done right then and there, which is very rare usually going into dealerships I feel like I m being pushed into things and I end up feeling uncomfortable but not here. I felt comfortable with the prices for the services that had to be done they weren t too high which is also a plus as a college student. And they even offered a free car wash and have my tires filled up! I love it here, will definitely come back in the future!

Just ok, I take my Scion here to get serviced because it very close to home and work. Second time in a row that the service hasn't been 100%. They talk a good game but once you've purchased, you're just a number.

Just had a wonderful customer service experience with your service department. Big thanks to Josh Fuller for making my day today! There is a reason my family has purchased four vehicles here, and why we get them serviced here - excellent service, friendly staff, quality vehicles, and a consistently positive experience with every aspect of your dealership, from sales (shoutout to Clayton Spanos) to service. Thanks again!

I would never go back, I went 3 weeks ago. Since I arrived, the seller, a very friendly person approached me and we started talking about the car I was looking for(a used car). Once I did the driving test with the seller and he realized that I liked the car, the tricks began, first, once in his office, another person from the dealer passed and call him, when the return, he told me it was a shame but that there was another person interested in the car and that he had done the test first. Second, he tells me that the certification was optional, when I told him I did not want it, because the toyotas are eternal, that friendly person changed, he left again and returned with a supposed manager who started talking as if I had offended him, saying that the certification was mandatory and that his car had 67 computers(A space ship?). I went with a loan from my bank and told them that I was taking the car but without the certification, they did not want to. After another of his tricks, once he left, the salesman calls me and tells me to give him a few minutes that he will talk to the manager to try to sell me the car without the certification and he comes back telling me that they already sold the car. My recommendation if you want to buy, to go with your eyes wide open or knowing that they will cheat you.

I just got off the phone with Greg Willard (GM of Toyota of Tampa Bay) I was threatened with, and I quote, you re not going to like where this conversation is going. When I asked him what that meant there was a bit of talking in circles. My vehicle was serviced yesterday at this location and after I received my vehicle from being serviced, there were interior cosmetic flaws. I tried to work this out with the service manager Steve C. This was to no avail. He told me in so many words that Toyota wasn t liable. I called this morning hoping to have a simple conversation with the GM... I did not expect to be THREATENED! I ve actually had issues with this dealership before as far it s customer service is concerned, but gave them a second chance... and was even asked, and did change my review on Google! That was the wrong decision. I will be contacting corporate with further details. I m from Indiana and leased my first Toyota from Evans Toyota in Fort Wayne. I have been a loyal customer since April 2016, and even though their facility isn t as big as the one here in Tampa, the customer service is head and shoulders above Toyota of Tampa Bay.

We had a good sales experience when we purchased a new Rav4. However, we sold it and I have been trying to get a hold of the finance department to cancel my warranties for the past 3weeks and can't get anyone. The operator took my name on 3 occasions saying someone will call me, still nothing. That tells me that after you buy the vehicle they are done with you. They don't even know why I am calling and I cannot get to talk to anyone.

Sales team gets 5+ Stars. Very honest and open. Fun team! I was comfortable and treated nicely.

The process of financing and paperwork took FOREVER and that needs improvement!!! The people we nice but the process needs an overhaul.

Also while waiting (3 hours) in the lounge there were other people there waiting on service. One guy for 3 hours so far just to have front brakes replaced. And other guy all day for tinting! My recommendation would be to get a better process flow!

My ex-husband and I bought a car for our son at this dealership. It started out great because our salesman, Eddie, was GREAT! He took great care of us and we got through the "negotiations" fairly quickly. The finance guy was a whole other story but since he doesn't work there anymore I can move on. Anyway, we found some damage to the vehicle that we had not noticed when we bought it and we had not picked up the car yet. The used car sales mgr, Anthony and the body shop manager, Matt were THE BEST. Both of these guys went out of their way to make sure that we were happy with our "new" car. They made it look showroom beautiful. After having such a fantastic experience with both Anthony and Matt I would definitely recommend Toyota of Tampa Bay to everyone.

This place is a joke. So unprofessional. They make you wait and wait and wait. Without reason, by the way. They make promises, and then they reel them back because of this excuse or that. They do not value your time. Sales is the worst. Many of the people giving five star reviews are probably the bored workers who are required by management to do so. This place needs an overhaul of employees from the top down, from the ones who are truly in charge.

My sale person Mark and the young lady in the front were AWESOME which I will give the 1000000 STARS !!!!!! They treated me right... now the only reason I m giving it a one star is because my financial person Mike or whatever put the wrong color of my car on my registration and I got pulled over. When I went back up there too talk he would not even talk too me..... Now call me Petty Betty but I want him to reimburse me for the cost of the paper for my registration and the charge of my card..... but other than that Mark rocks and the girl in the front...... THANKS MARK !!!!!!!!!!!

Just brought a car less than a month ago. Car begins to make noise. Took it back and was told the two rear tires were to big and although I have a warranty they would not replace them. They would like $356. I'm very sad that they won't correct the issue. This is my second car from them and after this I will not buy another. Misleading as to what the warranty covers just to make a sale. Beware!

Had some major repairs done on my 2008 4Runner on 15th and 16 of October 2017. I was assigned service advisor Norman Vassell. I was a little skeptical as I normally use another advisor. I scheduled the repairs for a Sunday, so my regular advisor was not working. To my surprise Norman was outstanding. His customer service is thorough and professional. When I learned that the repair will take another day Norman made accommodations for me to have a free rental on account of the distance I reside from the dealership. He took his time to inform me of the type of repairs and informed me of all my options. As busy as he was at the time I am very impressed with his professionalism. My only concern is that Toyota Of Tampa Bay loses him to a competitor as I'm sure no matter where he works he will be a credit to his employers. Thank You Norman Vassell for your assistance. See you for my next scheduled service.
In the past Toyota Of Tampa bay sent out surveys to customers that recently had service performed on his/hers vehicle. I did not get one. I contacted customer service and informed them of the issue. They said they will look into it. That was 2 weeks ago. Still have not heard from them. So I did the next best thing and put a review on Google. Thank You Google

Like many other negative reviewers, I started out ...

Like many other negative reviewers, I started out thinking I could trust this dealer. Even when they forgot about me waiting over 6 hours to get a battery, I was polite. Let's just say the last straw was over 15 months ago when they insisted my essential repairs would cost over $5,700. I had it towed elsewhere, paid $570 for repairs, and have now driven it over 15 months with no problem. I waited to write a review to see how valid their repair order had been. They just kept trying to sell me a new car. They never heard "NO." I spoke with some "manager" and begged him to ask salesmen to leave me alone. Took forever. This week when I recanted my decision never to go there again and drove in just to buy wiper blades, the sales guy appeared before I could even finish talking to the nice and proficient service advisor (Rashad S.) in the service lane. Even when I said to the salesman, "I know where sales is located if I want to buy a car," he still kept on. It's evident the focus is more about $$ rather than about customers. Too bad even a quick stop in could be made unpleasant by repeated unwanted sales advances. I had hoped since no one was doing any mechanical work, that I'd be safe and have a good experience. Alas, nothing has changed.

We had some misunderstandings in the financial portion of the agreement made between my parents and the finance person when they purchased a vehicle. However , the general manager jumped through hoops to correct this with the bank. Thank God he came to our rescue. I've been looking for some time a new vehicle been to different dealershipand never felt right and never made me feel comfortable. So I've always heard how Toyota Scion of Tampa Bay was the best dealership you can't go wrong. I've decided to go and see for myself. Let me tell you it was the best experience I had with a dealership. I had an extraordinary sale consultant name Ahmed Hassan. I will recommend him to anybody. He's no typical sales man he's caring friendly funny makes you feel like you right at home, awesome guy. Not only Ahmed was an amazing sale consultant the staff here is great and friendly. So if you looking to buy a vehicle here is the place to come. Avoid the hassle that I went to and just come and see for yourself what a great place to start.
