I have been going to Toyota of Tampa Bay for years...

I have been going to Toyota of Tampa Bay for years and I have always experienced excellent customer service and value. Their entire staff is always friendly, courteous, obliging, and professional. The value that I receive, from their service department's offers and suggestions is exemplary. They listen and understand that my family's budget is of great importance, so they give me an honest and safe time frame, as to when any repairs should be completed.

I have also, had the need to utilize the Services of Toyota of Tampa Bay Collision Center after a car accident. I received the same high quality of service and value, as mentioned above.

Both of my family's Toyota vehicles are currently out of warranty. However, I have some industry experience and knowledge regarding professional repairs. I take our cars to Toyota of Tampa Bay, instead of an independent, because they have the specialized technicians, staff, training, facility, parts, and tools to get the work done correctly the first time.

I Highly recommend all of Toyota of Tampa Bay's services!

Ahmed Hassan was my sales consultant for my new car buying experience at Toyota. He was amazing, very patient. I was extremely indecisive about what car I wanted, I had him walking around the whole car lot, but he was very patient and helpful. I had the greatest experience with every person I encountered. Mr. Hassan is the best!

This is definitely one dealership that disappointe...

This is definitely one dealership that disappointed more than most. First the person I had a scheduled appointment with was not even there and the person that helped me didn't seem to put forth much effort, basically wanting me to wait for them to call the following morning which they did not and I sent a few texts with no response as well. If these places and people want to make money they should put forth actual effort so that people like me do not go elsewhere.

I went to Toyota of Tampa Bay on 2/15/13 for an oil change. I have been there before on a Saturday when it was slammed with customers to have the oil changed and been there for no longer than 40 minutes tops. But when I went yesterday (Friday) it was at 5:00 in the afternoon and were about three customers there ahead of me. they took the car right away. then the service guy came back to us with 5 minutes of taking the to truck stating there were two recalls they needed to check and needed our approval to check them. we told them yes. the recall was to check the floor mats and the tires. we were there for over two hours. we can see through the window in the garage and see our truck suspended in the air along with three other cars in the bay. none of the cars were being worked on. we also told the service guy about the tire indicator light being on. he asked if it was flashing I said no and he said they will reset it. it wasn't reset but I did not say anything to them as I did not want to be there any longer. the recalls could not have extended the time to two hours because I asked the service what the recalls were for and he said the floor mat check was to make sure the factory mats were the only mats in the truck and that the tire were inflated properly. I was very disappointed in the fact that I do not live close to this dealership but went there due to previous good experience. I most likely will not be returning to this particular dealership for service as I feel two hours is way to long to wait for minor service.

Every time my 78 yr old husband takes his 15 yr old Corolla for oil change at Toyota of Tampa Bay, he ends up coming back home with a $350-$650.00 unneeded repairs. I took my Toyota Prius V to this same shop on Monday & was told I needed a $300.00+ work on battery. I declined their service & took my Prius to Tampa Hybrids, Inc where Todd took the battery out that supposedly needs replaced. He checked it & found nothing wrong with it. He refilled all fluids that were low, altho Toyota of Tampa Bay just finished a $7K repair on my Prius 3 days prior. Neither our Corolla or Prius will ever be serviced at Toyota of Tampa Bay ever again and our next Toyota purchase will be at Wesley Chapel or elsewhere. They take advantage of unsuspecting seniors & talk down to women. Todd of Tampa Hybrid did a high tech diagnostic analysis of my Prius FREE of charge and found nothing wrong. Toyota of Tampa Bay will find something wrong when there's none just to take your money... what a shame.

I will never go again to that place, I went with my friend some weeks ago. Since we arrived, the seller (Xavier, from Ecuador, 30 yearse selling cars !!!!!!!!!!), a very friendly person approached my friend and we started talking about the car he was looking for(a used car). Once we did the test driving with the seller and he realized that my friend liked the car, the tricks began, first, once in his office, another person from the dealer passed and call him, when the return, he told my friend it was a shame but that there was another person interested in the car and that he had done the test first. Second, he told my friend that the certification was optional, when my friend told him he did not want it, because the Toyota are eternal, that friendly person changed, he left again and returned with a supposed manager who started talking as if we had offended him, saying that the certification was mandatory and that his car had 67 computers(A space ship?). My friend already had a loan from his bank and told them that he was taking the car but without the certification, they did not want to. After another of his tricks, once he left, the salesman calls me and tells me to give him a few minutes that he will talk to the manager to try to sell me the car without the certification and he comes back telling me that they already sold the car. Very very,very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very bad experience

I would rate my experience with the sales representative a 5. He was very helpful and informative and very patient with me. I enjoyed utilizing my waiting time for my car repairs with the personal experience you provided. I enjoyed the back massage. It was very relaxing. I enjoyed the manicure which was beautifully done by the manicurist. I also enjoyed watching a part of the movie in very comfortable chairs. These services really took my mind of the car problems and my job for the day. It was very relaxing and comforting. I have been to other Toyota dealerships and never had such a personal experience of pampering. I just love it. Thank you very much for the day.

My husband and I were at lunch when we got a call from Mark about possibly taking a look at new cars. Three hours later we were signing paperwork to a beautiful limited edition used car that was well within our budget. Mark worked with us through the whole deal and his honesty, upfront process, and thoroughness through the whole process (he stayed with us till the last I was dotted and t crossed!) is the ONLY reason we got a car. And if we can help it he'll be the only person we ever go through this car-buying process with ever again!!! I mean that sincerely. After many poor experiences, we found this experience to be almost delightful and would actually look forward to buying our next car again - as long as it's with 'Mark Caivano!!!

I purchased a 2011 Nissan Rogue from Toyota of Tampa Bay Sunday, July 21, 2013. Jim Adams was my sales person. He is awesome! He took care of me throughout the entire process. I give Jim a 5 out of 5 stars. My overall experience was a 4 out of 5 stars only because of the time it took to complete the process.

I felt Jim went above and beyond. He was very laid back, not pushy and aggressive like the sales staff I've experienced at other dealerships. And he's got the best voice, my mother and I could encourage him enough to pursue a career in radio or voice overs on the side lol.

I found the car priced at a great price online Saturday night, sent a request to Jim to contact me and he called me Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon I test drove the vehicle, loved it and bought it! Jim made sure I was informed every step of the process. I love that. He also treated me and my mom to lunch:)

I'm happy the vehicle I purchased is still in manufacture warranty and has a 10/100,00 warranty on the powertrain. I'm also ecstatic about the life time carwashes (Jim provided), 2 free oil changes and invitation to the new owner appreciation dinner. I feel very blessed:)

Overall, a really good car buying experience!

I bought my car here a year ago and enjoyed my free maintenance service. Since I am driving a lot, I had to do 2 other maintenance services and I never got disappointed. They are open until midnight during the week which is super convenient ! Got my last appointment at 9 pm, my car was ready and clean (!) 45 min later. I always receive a great customer service (they will actually listen to you. I couldn't afford a full package - told my advisor that- he got it right away and didn't try to sell me on other stuff that I wouldn't need - and this is awesome).
Anyway, great place overall !

I wish there was a lower star rating than 1 star. I went to look at a car I found on their website (Wednesday). The transaction started off ok with the sales rep asking me what I was looking for and helping me through a few options on the lot. I test drove 2 cars and settled on one but needed to show my better half the car first. They were nice enough to let me take the car home overnight so she could drive it. She didn't like it and I returned to Toyota the next day to retrieve my old car (Thursday). This is when trouble started.

The sales person I was working with "lost" the keys to my car. He had an idea of where they might be but it involved him leaving the lot so he asked if I could just use the valet key (the only other key I had). I think my silent stare convinced him to change his mind and go look for my keys; which also included my house keys. After about 30 minutes waiting another sales person approached me and relayed a message from the one who lost my keys that he couldn't find them. They would keep looking for them but I had to leave for other engagements that day. They offered to let me keep the car another day while they looked for my keys.

I received a phone call that evening saying my keys couldn't be located and another set would have to be made. They would call again once the keys were ready but it would take some time. After a couple of hours another phone call was received saying the keys were finished and I could come in the next day to pick up my original car.

The next morning (Friday) I went to pick up my car. Turns out they found my keys...in another car on the lot. But those keys didn't work anymore because the computer had to be reprogrammed to match the new key fob that was made. I moved all my stuff back over to my original car (which was still running) and left. A few minutes after I got home I had to leave again. Took the new keys out to my car to start it and they wouldn't even turn in the ignition. I jiggled the steering wheel, pressed down on the brake, all the stuff that you usually do when the key isn't turning and still no movement. I tried this several times throughout the day with no movement in the key. Called them AGAIN and was told I needed to talk with a sales manager...who wasn't available. They asked me if I could just bring the car back and they could cut another key. I asked how they suggest I bring the car in when I couldn't start it in the first place. The response: "I don't know. You're going to have to talk to ****." And hung up.

At this point, I'm still waiting for a call. It has been 40 minutes and they close in 25 minutes. This is probably the shadiest operation I've ever seen with regards to car dealerships. There are plenty of other Toyota dealers in the Tampa area. You'd be best to find one of them instead of this place.

Amazing service I purchased a car from here on 11/23/2019 and had amazing service. Great communication and fabulous customer service. I had pleasure of working with Marek Novak and he was amazing. Made me feel like a person and someone like family. The staff in the financing and insurance department were great as well. Even offered me and my family a free voucher for meal.

Marek was great as well with a good attitude and personality. Would recommend Marek and staff to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. From first moment I knew Marek was great guy, he spoke Polish and I got to know him better. I left with a 2020 Corolla, got an amazing deal, and made a new friend as well. Will return and recommend this place for others. Keep up good work.

The kids zone and movie theater in the second floor was so relaxing and comfortable that I even forgot I was getting my car serviced, everyone has such a positive attitude that I'm planning on getting a new car soon from them. I had issue with floor mat and documents(See below). Soon after, Gregg Willard has solved this matter in timely manner. Floor mats were shipped overnight and I got the documents very next day. There were only one floor mat missing but he actually sent all four mats for our satisfaction. There were some hassle but I very happy now.

It was pleasant until I purchased the vehicle. But as soon as the car was delivered. The sales person was not responsive. I was purchasing the car from out of state and when I got the car, there was missing floor mat just for the front passenger side. As soon as I got the car, I took the photo and send it to them. The sales person said she will work on it but then I am not getting any answer back. I have texted several times, called, and even called the sales manager, but he did not pick up the phone. I also did not get the copies of the document I have signed and because of that I am not able to insure the vehicle. It has been weeks now. Let me have my documents so I can insure the vehicle. Terrible service.

I was extremely happy with the service i recently recieved at Toyota of Tampa Bay. I came in with no appointment and was able to be taken care of right away. I have to say Delbert and my cashier Madison really made my experience one to remember. They both were so extremely helpful, any question i had they were able to help and educate me. They were both so kind, and really went out of their way to assist me. You can tell they truly love what they do. I definitely will be back for my next service, as they both reccomened a time frame for my next visit.

We have been buying cars for over 20 years and each time we evaluate the whole experience and we were delighted to meet each employee and manager we were able to meet. I am going to be very upfront and honest with you! When I came in to supposedly resign and re date the paperwork with you last night for the purchase of the 2017
Toyota Camry I went to the service desk and told her why I was there she told me you were gone for the day. I told her I was meeting with you she then talked with someone on the phone and told me you would be back in 5 minutes as you had left to pick up dinner. As I waited and waited and waited a man came up to me and sat me down to say I had to return the new car and take my old one back. I was infuriated as I was misled by you that I needed to come resign the paperwork and I was lied to because you were not there after all. When I purchased and signed all of the paperwork for the car and was approved by two different banks then I am told that oh I forgot you had a bankruptcy (chapter 13) and we have to have approval first from the trustee.I flat out stated that I could wait for the approval and I was told go ahead and take the car all will be just fine. I in fact was there for an oil change and warranty work on my Rav 4 when I went looking at the cars and started to talk to a salesman, I was very upfront and told him about the chapter 13, I was told no problem. I sat there for 5 hours for WHAT??????

This experience with Tampa Toyota has been very humiliating and heartbreaking. I do not appreciate being lied to and if this is the practice of the employees at this dealership with their customers then shame on all of you. Not one person knew exactly what to tell me except sorry and God bless as I walked out of the door. This dealership has caused me nothing but grief having to change my insurance twice explaining the reason why I had to make the change and causing extra work for my insurance agent. The biggest question in all of this is why did you just not tell me the truth to begin with? I probably would have been upset but I would have excepted it. I don't except this, I am not finished with this and I will never purchase another car from Tampa Toyota or any Toyota dealer because of this horrible experience. I know this was not the work of just one person it in fact was several of you. So I hope God blesses all of you with the same courtesy and honesty that all of you so kindly bestowed upon me. Thank you for wasting all of my time, thank you for all of my disappointment, thank you for causing sadness in my 11 year old son who loved the new car, and thank you for screwing me over! On Saturday April 26th I visited Toyota of Tampa Bay on Fletcher Ave. I visited the dealership because I'd already looked online and learned the dealership had the vehicle I was looking for. When I first pulled up the associate greeted me as normal however after I looked at the vehicle I was interested in I had to go find an associate and inquire about test driving the vehicle. The associate laughed and told me to come inside. I thought this was peculiar as I have bought a new car in each of the last 3 years and never experienced this before nor did I experience it at any other lot I had visited on the same day. The associate began inquiring about my intentions and financial history even though I informed the associate I had already been approved by my bank and had a bank draft in hand. The associate finally grabbed the keys to the automobile and took me outside however he told me to get in the passenger side. (Again I've never experienced this before) The associate then drove around the corner and explained to me that because I was a young black man "management" was very skeptical of the intentions of young black men and he had to ensure I was going to buy a vehicle and not joyride in a vehicle. The associate then told me he was trying to ensure both myself and he did not get into any trouble. Several times he mentioned management was watching. The associate pulled over and allowed me to literally drive the car less than .25 mile around a very small residential block. I've never been so disgusted in my life or made to feel so inferior or unconformable this was a horrible experience I hope know else has to go through. I would never spend $1 at this dealership or any dealership associated with it. I will ensure I share my experience with everyone I know. In 2014 it s very sad that this still goes on. While I am a young African American male I go to work each and every day just as everyone else. I graduated from a top tier University and I work in management level for a Blue Chip company that not only pays me well but also pays my monthly car note due to the amount of driving I do, my credit score is in the high 700's but because of the color of my skin the associates at Toyota of Tampa Bay did not want to assist me or give me an opportunity to buy a vehicle. Shame on them I hope this email provides dialogue to create a change so no one else has to experience the pain I felt.

I traded in a Camry for a Corolla Eco when I brought the Camry in for its 60,000 mile maintenance service in December 2015.
To be brief, I would say I received overall excellent service from all departments and staff. This is consistent with maintenance and body work services I have had with this dealership over the years. I recommend this dealership. I have experienced that there is a vast difference between this dealership and some of the others. In brief, everyone in every department that was involved with my old car being serviced and me driving out with a new used vehicle the same day did their role with excellence, from what I could discern. I believe that all persons involved did a really good job to make this deal work and work quickly. If you would like to buy a Toyota, I suggest going here. I would have liked a lower monthly payment and a corporate warranty that I don't have to pay for to be extended this month, but what I have is a car that is economical, is reliable, and will have everything covered so there will be no surprise expenses out of my pocket. There is even a program that ensures that my car will be found, if stolen, within 20 minutes or the car is paid for! I have gone here several times for maintenance checks or bodywork (bumper scrapes) and I have always had a pleasant experience here.
The salesperson that got the ball rolling for me with the car exchange was Ahmed from Cairo. The used car sales manager was Mohammed Ali (also known as "Mike"). The finance managers were Robert Torano and his supervisor, Mr. Fahrer, I believe. I apologize if I mispelled anyone's name. The service rep and the lady that handed me the keys to my new used car were very pleasant.

I have just purchased my third vehicle from Toyota of Tampa Bay in lee than a year. Have worked with three different sales reps and one fantastic Sales Manager. Each vehicle from the 2015 Prius through the 2017 Tacoma were truly negotiated by the folks at Toyota into a great buy for me. John is now the used car manager and Bob K. was my most recent sales rep. Hint: When you go in ask for Martin Koehler the new car sales manager and tell him I sent you.

This was the most pleasant new car purchase I have ever made. I emailed Toyota of Tampa Bay and quoted what I was willing to pay for a Prius 3. Within five minutes, I received a phone call from Tom Jones, a salesperson withToyota of Tampa Bay accepting my offer. He told me they had two Prius 3s on the lot and invited me down to inspect them. I warned him that I did not want to waste time, and that my offer was firm. He assured me the price we had agreed upon was an out the door price. My wife and I drove down, inspected the vehicle, and made our purchase. There was no game playing, no hidden costs, no pressure from Tom Jones, just a very professional interaction. When I explained I needed to plate the care in another state, the staff at Toyota of Tampa Bay knew exactly how to handle the interstate activity. I intended to pay cash for the vehicle, but again the staff informed me that I had the option of no interest financing through Toyota. After being fully orientated to the car and its internet capability by Tom Jones, I drove off having paid nothing down, three years interest free financing, and very positive feelings about the entire interaction. I will certainly turn to Toyota of Tampa Bay for my next car purchase. I have finally found a dealer who does not make purchasing a car an ordeal.

I only gave one star to Let you know this Company is Full of BS i had the worst experience with this place. Just ridiculous alone I would Never do business with a place this. I went back and forth with A sales rep Josh to get there and all lies ,lies,lies on top of that he sent out someone else he was too busy he said. My theory he knew he feed me BS. I was there with my kids till late night coming all the way from St. Petersburg Fl. I should've done my research and just went to Clearwater Toyota however my sister in law had a better experience with Salemans name Raul and so i went for it Never Again. Then rje saga begins i had my trade in at the shop and was getting it towed back to me. The tow company gets there they cannot find my Car. I IM PISSED with Toyota of Tampa Bay, Very Horrible experience with these people.

I had a brilliant experience with the staff at Toyota of Tampa Bay. My son and I were treated like family as I purchased a used vehicle from the facility. Thank you Ty and JP for making the deal happen and for your time and excellent energy. Also, the car is amazing.

We were in on Sunday 11/21/20 test drove 2 vehicles decided on one and the sales guy wouldn't tell us the price it was a 2012 infinity q37. We were told 16,000 finally and walked away to much for that car. So later I went on there website and they were asking 13,000 on the website.. They are scammers and the price is now 12,400. If you go here check web prices first. TRYED TO GET 3,000. EXTRA DOLLARS OUT OF US. IF YOU CALL TO ASK FOR MANAGER NOONE ANSWERS JUST RINGS AND MY HUSBAND LEFT A MESSAGE STILL NO ONE HAS CALLED BACK..TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE AND LIARS...

I am extremely happy that I went to Toyota Tampa Bay!!! Edwin Andino and Alan Brodsky helped me land a sweet Tacoma and it was a great experience. They sold me the truck I wanted with no pushy sales tactics like more bells and whistles or bigger trucks. I recommend going to see them next time you're looking to purchase a vehicle, you will leave happy.

Great service on my vehicle. Love the new accept/decline system via text. Super efficient, super easy to reply to service personnel. Wait time was a bit much but my car looked good and drove great when I received. I do think we should get the "early bird special" on oil changes year round though! Thanks Toyota Tampa Bay

James on parts is so lost. Not sure how he got the job. He doesn t know the parts and doesn t know how to read diagrams for the parts you are looking for, plus claimed they were close and I showed up way before 7PM which is when parts department closes and refused to help. Toyota please get representatives that aren t Lazy, that really sucks when people don t appreciate or show concern for you costumers. 0/5 for me

I did not have a good experience trying to talk to this dealership about getting a car from them. The sales professional I talked to was hardly willing to work with me on my situation and pretty much wasted my time. I would not recommend them to people looking for a car.

Also I would like to add that when I complained about this I was attacked by the people in their internet sales department. Completely unprofessional and rude customer service!

I will never shop here or recommend it to anyone.

Horrible experience. I called the dealer before making the 45 minute drive. Did the credit app and all. Was told I could get into a new vehicle just needed to come down. Got their and waited for a hour before telling me theirs nothing they can offer me at this time..should have just told me that before going. Total waste of time
