Wow, is the best way to describe Toyota of El Cajon!! Lived in San Diego forever and this is a great dealership!! Starting with the owners, they are the best!! Sales Department are straight shooters!! No lies or bait and switch or false promises!! The employees are happy and upbeat!! Great service department too!! We've had new cars before from this dealership!! They know how to treat people! I got the new Camry and 2 months later got Eva her dream car!! I came in to look at their trucks trying to decide what brand to go with and they treated me poorly. Sat down in a truck and told me basically nothing about the truck. When I pressed for info, the salesman told me that the seats were leather... which was obvious because I was sitting on leather. So I went inside to find someone else who might actually try to sell me a truck and watched the receptionist pick up the phone, ask them to hold, and go back to playing a game on her phone for about 2 minutes before picking the phone back up. Dont shop here. Not only will you find lack of respect of you as a person but they seriously dont care about wasting their customers time. I will certainly give Toyota another chance but not here.

We had the greatest experience at Toyota of El Cajon. This store was one of the first ones we looked at when trying to find the right SUV for our family. After visiting many other dealerships we kept coming back to the Toyota Highlander and the excellent service that we received from the employees at Toyota of El Cajon. The sales manager John helped us through the process and we will definitely go back to him for any future car purchases!

I talked to many dealerships and didnt realize how hard some salesman make buying a car, except for Victor. Great experience with Victor the Internet Sales Manager. I arranged everything before hand and came to the dealership to do paperwork and left with the exact truck I wanted. He answered all my questions and didn't try to BS me or drag out answers. When he was out, his assistant followed up right away to let me know hes out and helped me out with the questions I had.

Worked my warranty repair in and had it completed after part change in just a few hours. Great service.

Simo was awesome. We've been coming to Toyota of El Cajon since 2001 and we've always had good service, but Simo really goes above and beyond. It's probably been the last 12 years that we only deal with him. He's so personal and we always feel taken care of. We lost our son recently and he was so comforting and compassionate. We'll never forget his kindness.

When I bought my car the guys were so nice I got a 2015 Toyota Camry the sales men were great I actually got one of the assistant managers who was wonderful... Buying my first car was a great experience.... Now a month later my car won't start I have had to be jumped 4 times today to get to work to leave for a meeting after the meeting and now to leave work... I have been calling Toyota for over an hour trying to talk to some one who could help me!!! I was transferred from voice mail to voice mail with no answer!!! I kept calling the front desk that poor girl said she would walk over and have someone call me she did. Susan called me she said there was nothing she could do to help and she was going to transfer me to Jeremy. Guess what it went to voicemail for a guy named David!! Then a guy named Mark called me and told me they couldn't see me today because it is 5 o'clock well when I started to call it was 4. They could not help me at all today!!! They are not willing to help there customers. Does he expect me to keep calling roadside to get jumped!!!! I am so not happy at this point with there care!!!

I took my 2017 Tacoma in for service about 10 days ago. While waiting, I went over to check out the new models and ended up speaking with Victor Aceves, Toyota of El Cajon's Internet Sales Manager. I had no intention of buying a new truck. To make a long story short, Victor kept sweetening the offer until I finally couldn't resist. I bought a new 2020 Tacoma and am thrilled with it. Great no pressure experience, they made it very easy to "pull the trigger." I recommend Victor and the rest of the sales team to everyone.

The service department is quick and helpful. They have a free shuttle. They have wifi, coffee its better than most hotels for accomidations.

Just made my first car purchase here yesterday and I had an amazing experience! VICTOR helped me and I got to walk out with my first choice at an amazing deal. I was treated with VIP costumer service. He knew my budget and made what I wanted happen! Never was familiar with a buying a car process but VICTOR and TAN definitely made it so quick and easy! Okay, so I really want this review to highlight a particular sales associate that we worked with above all. But first, I'd like to start off by telling you just a little bit about my own personal experience at Toyota of El Cajon

I believe it was a month ago or so that my dad and I accompanied my grandma to purchase a new car. We had already done some initial research on how to best accomplish this task, and Toyota of El Cajon seemed like the best place to do so. The dealership itself was gorgeous inside and out and everyone who helped us was so friendly! In the end my grandma settled on a new black Corolla. The price was more than reasonable and the car looked and drove simply fantastic. Overall, everyone in my group was so pleased with our experience and we would recommend this dealership to anybody looking for a car!

But, now I want to focus on a specific employee we dealt with and that is Michael Bojorquez. From the beginning, he sounded and looked so professional. He took the time to shake our hands, learn our names, and inquire a little bit about us individually. And despite his apparent youth, he was ever so knowledgeable.

Initially, he took over to the huge selection of Camrys because to him it sounded like it might be a good match for my grandma. He effortlessly spilled out so many helpful facts about the Camry in general and the car we were looking at itself. But then my grandma mentioned that a sun/moon roof was a must, so Michael directed us over to the Corollas.

Again, Michael gave us information on both the Corolla in general and the car he was showing us. My grandma seemed to instantly fall in love with it, so Michael suggested that she take it for a test drive. She quickly agreed.

On our drive, Michael flawlessly pointed out more facts about how the Corolla drove while chatting to us and giving driving directions.

Michael was just so friendly and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Even when we were closing the deal we never felt like he was trying to take advantage of us in any way. He made us feel comfortable and definitely impressed us in so many ways.

I'd absolutely recommend that first, you go to Toyota of El Cajon if you're looking for a car and second, that you ask for Michael because his professionalism combined with the fabulous atmosphere of the dealership make for a wonderful experience!

From the moment I pull into the service area to the moment I leave,
I know I am being taken care of by happy concerned people who, it appears, truly love their jobs. There is another Toyota dealership approximately one and quarter miles from my home, but because of how well I am taken care of, the facilities provided for the customers, such as a computer room with free WiFi, a waiting area that consists of two very large screen TVs, comfortable seating, Tall tables with tall chairs, coffee, donuts, and prompt service of my car by Toyota specially trained mechanics. What more could anyone want!?
All of that makes me feel comfortable, at ease, and confident my car is being well taken care of ... as am I.

We recently bought a 2012 Tundra from Toyota of El Cajon. From the start, John (our salesman) and the entire staff were friendly and easy to work with. It was a pleasure purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. Special thanks to Hiwa, Nick, and the General Manager, Gary. They all went above and beyond our expectations to ensure we were satisfied customers. We're certain we'll visit this dealer again for our next car!!!

I stopped there thinking to check out the prices for Tacoma's pickup trucks, and i found out that they have marked the price up for $5000 for the 4x4s and the the TRD PRO $12000 on top the regular market price which is $48000 which makes the total for the TRD $60000 and the rest is $53000, so I asked the dealer sales man there what is the extra charges for? His respond was his managment Notice there is a demand on these trucks so jacked the prices up.

I had a wonderful experience at the El Cajon Toyota dealership. Everything was taken care of even faster than originally estimated and I did not schedule an appointment in advance. Everyone was very friendly and answered all my questions.

We take both our Toyotas to El Cajon Toyota. They do great work and are always courteous.

Only reason I m giving it a 4 star instead of 5 is because of how long it took. Everybody was really nice and helpful. Shawn took care of me at the service desk. It took 4.5 hours to do an oil change, alignment, and spark plugs. I know the spark plugs do take some time but 4.5 hours worth of time? you could ve at least comped me for that. I even had an appointment. Will probably still go back because I like my car having all of its work done with all the records but not if they re going to take that long again.

The service at Toyota of El Cajon is always great! I currently have three Toyota's and I've never had any problems getting them serviced when I need to. David Anderson makes sure that all three cars are up-to-date on all routine servicing and is always pleasant to work with.

final results were good but it took almost 3 hours to get my car serviced- this even though I had an appointment. What good is an appointment if it doesn't make any difference in your waiting time?

My wife and I decided to give Toyota of el Cajon a shot at our business. We had taken a couple of test drives with other dealers but the other dealers did not have the color and options we wanted. We made arrangements with Marwan Fakhoury (Sales Manager) to come in and test drive a specific car at a pre arranged price with the intent to purchase that night. We went into the dealership and we are assigned to Simeon Okosun. We started our test drive and once we reached the freeway I asked that we drive for a few miles as we were planning to buy this specific car in the next hour. Simeon told us that we needed to pull off at the next exit and we were only allowed to drive 1 exit before buying a brand new $28,000 car. I explained to Simeon that to feel comfortable spending this much money we wanted to drive at least 3-4 miles to feel comfortable. With my wife driving the vehicle she was already getting nervous with a man sitting behind her being very rude and abrupt with us and telling us to pull over and that the test drive was over. Personally, I understand that we came in at 8pm and the night was almost over but we had pre arranged the drive and purchase price already with the sales manager, it was a slam dunk sale for them as we and had cash in hand.

Simeon said we were stupid to want to drive more than 1 exit and he had been doing this for 15 years and no one needs to drive more than 1 exit to test out a car. I told Simeon he was being extremely rude and acting like an as&ho&e. He proceeded to start yelling at both my wife and I that we were pieces of shi& and he made more money than us and he would bash our faces into the ground the moment he got out of the car, as well as his son was more obedient than us.... Needless to say he went from 0-crazy in a matter of seconds. After over 20 threats on our life and hitting the back seat and screaming at the top of his lungs at us.....all while I called his manager and had him on speaker phone the entire time for him to hear the exact threats he was making! I decided to call the police, who were dispatched to secure our safety. After the Sales Manager offered us to take the car as loaner, Laura Brewer the PR person from the dealership called to apologize. She was very nice and apologetic. I felt that the sales manager and PR person cared to apologize but I did wonder what the owner Greg Kaminsky thought about the situation. I was told that the owner would call a couple of days later. After 5 business days later and no call or care from the owner combined with the fact that I called the dealership today and found out that Simeon was rewarded with his behavior with only being suspended from work for a day and was able to keep his job, I decided to write this review.

Simeon Okosun was allowed to threaten customers lives all while being on speaker phone with the sales manager and the only discipline he received was a day suspension. On top of that the owner was requested to contact me regarding the situation and he felt it was not worth his time. The very next day we went to Toyota of Carlsbad and purchased the very same car and were in and out of the dealership in 2 hours. I recommend that Toyota car buyers find any other Toyota dealership in San Diego other than El Cajon.

I'm a young guy and was not looking to buy my dream truck for another few years. We have a family friend in the San Diego auto industry that said I had to at least go test drive a Tacoma with Toyota of El Cajon. After being put with one of the salesman, Spencer, I was immediately hook on the truck. But, more importantly I was hooked on the dealership. Like I said, I am a young guy and it would have been easy for them to treat me that way (as I was treated when I bought my last vehicle), but I was treated with respect and I never felt like I was being swindled or taken advantage of. Do not go anywhere else beside Toyota of El Cajon! I made the little extra drive out to El Cajon and let me tell you, it was so worth it! Oh and yes, I bought my dream truck! When you go, ask for Spencer! He's one of the best they have!

Bravo Toyota of El Cajon! This is my first time writing a review and after leasing a new Prius today I felt compelled to share my wonderful experience. As it has already been mentioned by another reviewer, Arbie was really top notch! He took his time and listened to my needs and concerns. He felt personable and made the whole process a really great one. (and in my previous experience, "great" and "new car" don't usually show up in the same sentence). Jose was a big part of my experience as well. After several phone calls and questions, Jose was still polite, patient and very much a gentleman. I would work with both these people again! I felt the price quotes matched the final costs, and I left feeling relieved, joyed and excited about my new Prius! Thank you for all your effort guys!

Ahmed Ali was a wonderful salesperson - low key, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and patient with multiple test drives, questions, car color preference searches, etc. Gave us good trade in value on our car. No big bells and whistles, but we were buying a car, not at a party - don't need cookies, specialty drinks, etc. Clean showroom.

I cannot stress enough how wonderfully professional this dealership is. I was treated with courtesy and prompt professional follow up from the first call I made before driving out to El Cajon all the way through to today, the day after I drove my new car home. Even if you live no where near this dealership, it is worth your while to make the trip.
I tried 2 other Toyota dealerships closer to my home first and at both was treated as if I knew nothing. When I explained I had done my research prior to arrival, I was questioned about it and basically made to feel that I was lying.
Toyota of El Cajon respected me from the first moment, made me a very fair and honest deal, stuck to their word and won me as a customer for life. I look forward to returning for replacement of my other car in about 18-24 months and also returning for service. If the service is half as good as the sales department I will never have my car serviced anywhere else.

Excellent service and deals. Bought a Prius from Ryan Darby at Toyota and the service and supporting team were highly exceptional. Ryan was honest, direct, and highly personal. We felt very comfortable buying a car from him. And he bent over backwards to get the best deal possible for us and to attend to our every need as car buyers. We traded in our Jeep and are able to make the new car payment with gas savings alone. Could not believe the technology, quality manufacturing, service, and unbelievable MPG. Haven't looked for a new car in 10 years. It's a brave, new car world out there and we found it here!

they were the first place I visited to test drive the car that I wanted to purchase, but they did not have MY specific car I wanted, I was very specific to what color interior and exterior, and additioanl features I wanted. They informed me they would work on getting one on their lot for me, but at first it did not sound too promising. So I did visit other Toyota dealers and I came to find out that the car I wanted was very hard to get a hold of, as a matter of fact, there were only 6 on land within a 500 mile radius. while other dealers tried to convince me to buy similar cars but no with the specs I wanted, Vincent informed me that in fact my car was on the way to Toyota of El Cajon. Vincent- my salesman, came through and got me the exact car that I wanted with no pressure to pre-sign any paperwork just to get the car on their lot for me. During the process, Vincent kept me well informed of the status and expected delivery date of the vehicle. When the car arrived I received a call right away. I went in informed them that I had a meeting in an hour, and believe it or not, I was in and out of there, finalized the purchase in less than an hour. If you've ever purchased a car before, you know that's close to impossible. Although I went in my a pre-approved loan from my bank, they still made the visit seamless and I was one very happy and satisfied customer. Thanks again Vincent and Toyotal of El Cajon for helping me get the exact car I wanted with all the features that I "had" to have and for making it an easy and smooth car buying experience!
