I bought my 4Runner here 9 years ago and only serviced it at Toyota of El Cajon and they took very good care of me and my car, kudos to service rep Eliseo. I trust this dealership enough that I just recently purchased a new Highlander and both Victor and Gustavo were very helpful and attentive during the process.

First, I waited over 10 mins before anyone ask me anything. They were just standing around, 6 of them. Finally one of them came over to say they would get a consultant. 8 more mins. Check in took over 10 mins. He said 2 hours. Still waiting two in a half later. I understand busy but really? I'll find somewhere else next time.
Great interaction in the service department. Easy appointment made and was shuttled to and from work. Found out the problems and worked out a plan.

I set up an appointment for them to check/top off my transmission, a procedure which I have had done at other Toyota dealers prior and cost about 20 bucks, took under an hour. This place took over 4 hours and tried to charge over 140, which I complained about and they dropped to 80. Not recommended.

I love this dealership! My first time going in I was asking about how to use things on my car because I bought it from another dealership that was less than helpful. This time around I went in to buy floor mats. Bobbie and Robert in parts were extremely quick and helpful. They genuinely care about the people that come in to see them.
Not a good experience at all,as im sitting here at the dealer,im having problems with the issue that i bought a "brand new" corolla 2016, instead they gave me one that the screen and back up camera doesnt work wich by the way they dont want to hold responsible for and are giving me a hard time instead of fixing my issue, and the car has a dent on the dashboard wich thwy didnt tell me it had it,so they sold me a damaged car as brand new with no problems on it,very disappointed,my only options is i will have to return them their damaged car and go with honda or something.
I had to write another review about our (my husband and I) experience here because it was so great! We had the pleasure of having Ryan Darby as our salesman. He is so down to earth and not pushy at all. We had the complete intention of buying a new truck and knew exactly what we wanted. He worked with us through the entire process and was always very responsive and efficient. We are going to recommend everyone we know to Ryan if they are looking for a Toyota! Quality customer care from the front receptionist, to the back service techs. They have a trained staff working in a very clean and highly organized environment. I have my older Prius and Pickup serviced there a lot, and have always been happy :-)

Simo is straightforward and honest with me every time I need service/repairs. I've given up my independent mechanic because there is usually some thing that has been done sloppily and causes problems later. 5 stars to Simo and the service operation.

**UPDATE. Something that does make me upset about Toyota. When they asked me for my information, I made it very clear that I did not want it shared.
They acknowledged. About a week or two later I get a letter in the mail, stating that if I don t call/mail/go online to update that I do not want my info shared. They would automatically do it. If I missed this letter somehow, I would be screwed, and my info would be shared for their financial profit. That s extremely poor business. In a time where our personal information is getting sold, leaked, and used against us all the time. This is definitely a bad mark on Toyota.

After buying a lot of cars at the Mile Of Cars and Escondido Auto Park. Decided to give El Cajon a shot, seeing as how I live in El Cajon. Found the car I wanted online. Called and made an appt to test drive. Was told the car would be ready the following day. Went in on a Sunday and purchased vehicle. Pleasant experience all around. Only one issue I had. Was that the battery wasn t charged. Turns out El Cajon Toyota doesn t have a EV charging station. I found that to be odd. Seeing as they sell EV s. Besides that, I would buy there again

If you don't have anything to do all day ? It's okay. But if you go to service your car without an appointment. Be ready to spend at least 4 hours of your time waiting to have your vehicle fixed.
Our service advisor was great. She actually came out to look for us to tell us our car was done earlier than expected. We almost left so this saved us from an unnecessary extra trip. Very friendly, and took the time to chat with us.
I was ready to give up on looking for a new car when I was told to go in and check it out. One of my wonderful friends, Becky, from church works here. She had left and referred me to Michael Farhat.
I went in, was greeted and helped immediately by Michael. He showed me different options that he thought would be best for what I needed. He treated and cared about me and my purchase as if I was his own daughter.
I told him I have new credit that has not been worked up yet, with only $500 to put down. He and the manager, Carlos, found great options for me. They didn t up-sale anything, and they even gave me a better deal than advertised! Once I test drove the cars, I set my mind to a beautiful 2018 Nissan Versa Note. They helped me attain full coverage for half of what other insurance companies wanted me to pay, and the paperwork took only 30-45 minutes to finish up!
I was nervous, because of my financial situation wasn t the best, and I have never bought a car before. They made me feel safe and appreciated as a person and customer.
Along with a beautiful, safe, and reliable car. They gave me a great warranty, they are installing an upgraded security system (they saw I live in a very unsafe neighborhood), completely cleaned and sanitized my new vehicle, and even filled my gas tank completely!

The passenger side mirror on our 2011 Avalon was badly damaged when I hit a trash can in the street, and it also needed the 90,000 mile service. My husband took it in and Simo arranged to have their shuttle take him home to Jamul. Simo went out of his way to get replacement parts for the mirror, have it repaired and painted, and also have the service completed, overnight. He took advantage of coupons and any other available discounts to help lower the cost. We wouldn't take our car to any other dealer. They always take really good care of us at El Cajon Toyota.

Great vehicle outstanding service from sales team. Great memories with that car daily commuter, off roading pushing it to the limit, and great for camping. I wanted to keep it forever. I've continued to have all my maintenance and repairs done there because they're reputable - professional, dependable and efficient - and my cars just keep on running well, really well. My 2nd Corolla is still going strong @ way over 200,000 miles and my nephew became the happy recipient after I bought my 3rd Toyota - a Camry. The bonus at Toyota of El Cajon is the very large, comfortable accommodations for customers waiting on site while their vehicles are being serviced.
James in the service department is absolutely awesome! It was Saturday morning I blew a tire, contacted him he was able to get me in for a new set of tires, and full service on my Scion and was still ready by the time the service department closed at 5 actually before that! I've always loved that dealership we've bought 4 cars from them but James is the reason and will be the reason why we continue to go back. Dude is simply awesome!!!

We had tried other places, and no one seemed to take us seriously or want to help us, but Omed stayed on top of it, treated us with respect, called, and helped us along with the process until we are now the proud owners of our truck. Excellent extensive engine work on a HOT ROD RED (Tom & Ray) 1992 Toyota 4Runner with over 300,000 miles on it. I am a regular customer at the El Cajon service center. Highly recommended.
Made an appointment for 8:45am for an oil change. Showed up on time. Over 2 hours later still waiting in the lobby I ask if they re almost done and they still haven t started my car. Now having to scramble to make arrangements to have my children picked up from preschool. They clearly way overbook appointments. Do yourself a favor and don t waste your time because they clearly don t value yours. We will no longer be taking our cars here.
Eliseo is the Service Rep that I go to at Toyota of El Cajon. He s honest, which goes a long way with me. I rely on his experience and expertise to make sure that my car, and especially my daughter s car, are in excellent condition. Having someone you can trust is the most important thing I look for in a Service Rep.
