No complaints. A bit noisy due to flight paths but that is to be expected for its location close to the airport. It was a clean and comfortable room. Gym was nice as well.
My company, 1800 radiator, held a a.c. class that seated about 100 people. We used a room to provide a power point slide with their projector. The service was great and the food was too but the projector kept failing . Other than that, it was lovely.
Went for a work event and the staff was very accommodating. Went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable.
Right under primary flight path to airport. No joke ... jumbo jets were flying not more than 200 feet from the top of the building every 5 minutes all night long. Other than feeling like we were sleeping on an aircraft carrier with jets roaring by all night the hotel was rated as 4 star online, but the amenities we're more in line with a 3 star location. I've been in a number of Westin hotel that I have liked a lot and this was the least nice one I've been in. Definitely doesn't live up to the Westin brand.
Great service!! We have two little dogs and the front desk was very friendly and accommodating.
The rooms were great, but the food was bad. Everyone was very nice.
Great hotel, rooms are perfect and all. However, it s most suitable for persons who are traveling for business...
Heading to Mexico so we decided to stay at the Westin again. My oh my ok first the T.V. Wouldn t work so they sent an engineer up to look @ it. Ok no worries I ll go to the pool & relax oh sorry the pool is closed. Now Ive been waiting on a shuttle to take me to another pool @ another hotel.. guess what im still waiting.
Very disappointed
This is the perfect hotel for travelers that are flying in or out of DFW. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautiful, and it is a very clean, quiet place. There is a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes to DFW. We enjoyed the rooftop pool, restaurant, and a Starbucks coffee bar on the property. I would highly recommend this hotel, and plan to stay here again.
Pets are permitted on same floors where business conference rooms exist - which lead to a noisy dog in the hallway outside our executive off-site.
Attended Westin DFW for a company conference. Rooms, staff, and food we're all great. Kuddos to the team for making the event special for all of us that attended
Stayed at the Westin overnight for a flight out of DFW the next morning and the staff was extremely accommodating, check in was a breeze and the best shuttle service we have ever had! Thank you Sean and Alfredo for the best service we have ever had!!
We had a good time here. The room was clean, but small like inner city hotels. No complaints, other than no hot tub and chilly water in the rooftop pool.
Visited and stayed at this hotel for a business trip. Unfortunately, I had my leg in a cast and my trip was somewhat difficult. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport, but it isn't handicapp accessible. There is no lift for a wheelchair so you must be able to climb stairs to get into the shuttle bus. The handicapp rooms are single beds only. Why do hotels think that all handicapp people would be traveling with their partner or by themselves?
Our room was upgraded after complaining about the non-handicapp shuttle, but to a double room suite. There was nothing suite about it. Other than it offered a shower and a tub. I couldn't get in either, but needed two beds. Which one was a sleeper sofa for my son. There were no sheets or pillowcases availabke for the bed. There was no microwave on the room, only a microfridge and coffee pot. Pretty standard for a normal room. I was impressed that the hotel had several wheelchairs availabke and having a restaurant on-site was nice since I couldn't walk anywhere to get food. All areas that I went to seemed handicapp accessible.
Our room smelled of smoke upon entering and was on the 9th floor. Not much of an uograde.
The manager was very friendly and apologize for all of the inconveniences incurred during our stay. There was nothing to do around the hotel for fun. Everything was a good bit away. I wouldn't choose to stay here for leisure nor would I bring small children.
Great hotel near DFW airport. Let me start by saying Ke'Asha at the front desk is AWESOME!! She greeted me with a smile, check in process was fast and she really made me feel welcome! Monique, Alfredo and Dannyfer at front desk are very nice. The room was very clean. The king bed had the famous heavenly bed sheets and duvet. The towels were soft and plush. The hotel was really clean. #WESTINDFW #Ke'Asha_Is_Amazing #GreatStaff
The lobby and main common areas are very nice however the pool had several lights out and the power everywhere flickers often. We even lost power for ten minutes in the middle of the night. It was overall nice but the carpets in our room were even sticky in places. For a Westin I expected much more.
Great hotel, super breakfast, and nice conference facilities.
Clean, large rooms and a gorgeous view! The location is very close to DFW airport. The only complaint is we didn't have a mini fridge in our room, but they have a pantry and a nice restaurant, too!
It was a great hotel, restroom isn t small it s average. But staff is friendly, good employee on the front desk.
Two little girls didn t have enough money for their drinks and the employee covered the other half for them.
They have a great fitness area, and you have the option to borrow some clothes at a small price.
Parking does get crowded sometimes , but it s free considering it s a 4 star hotel.
Room was nice and clean and front desk was helpful. I would recommend the breakfast buffet, it was excellent.
The reason I stayed here was for the heated rooftop pool, and that's why I subtracted a star. I suppose it was relatively heated-in the exact proximity of the jets. And unlike its Galleria counterpart, this one features no hot tub. If this is the reason for your stay, I'd look elsewhere between November and March. Otherwise the room comes at a fair price point and is what one would expect from Westin-clean and reasonably spacious, decor that isn't overly dated, and a powerful shower head, the last being of particular importance after the hypothermic pool experience.
Possibly the worst Westin I have ever stayed in. This is a perfect example of a franchisee not keeping up a brand's standards. Dingy, dirty, dark rooms. Worn facilities, cramped and crowded. Just stay at the Marriott...
Everything/everyone was great! Couldn't have been more accommodating! Loved it!
Nice hotel for meetings, somewhat noisy due to highway close by
I was constantly told that they could not provide services because they were full. I did not feel like a guest. They only "refresh" the bathroom while you are there. Even when I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned, I was told they could do it after 3 days. It was completely unbelievably. I was told that they were out of towels because there were too many guest. A Westin hotel should anticipate these kinds of things and make adjustments, especially for a prebooked large meeting. The restaurant was painfully slow as well. It was horrible.
Great shuttle service to the airport safe place to park your car. Friendly staff.
Nice and clean with comfy beds, towels and even a robe. Rooftop pool was small but the water was nice and cool, the planes doing fly-bys added a bit of fun! AND it doesn't close until 11! The infused water in the lobby is good when you can get it.
It is a nice enough hotel, a little dark and dim inside
Rooms and rooftop pool were very nice. WiFi was solid. Food was expensive. Overall a nice stay.
There was air in the pipes which could be distracting, but overall, a nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff.
Room was nice. Had a broken phone that the staff didn't fix for us.
Ny best friend got engaged at NOLA, which is in the Westin! The hotel staff was friendly & helpful. I did not stay here, but the staff made me feel like a vip
Clean, friendly staff. The food and drinks were really good!
Great location for airport parking... quick and easy trip to and from the DFW airport.
Racist. I have been waiting 20 minutes for a cash deposit we put down, 2 $20s and a $10. White guy came up behind me, had a $50 deposit owed to him as well they claimed they had no money up front in the drawers only the "supervisor" had money in the back BUT STILL they got the white man out quickly, less than 5 minutes THEN conveniently and MYSTERIOUSLY handed him the exact same change I put down the day before from the same drawer UP FRONT! THEN they said oh we got you and your husband mixed up huh? We have the same last name and was in the same room? I will never come here again!
Very nice ho tel. Upscale. We had our Holiday party here. The hotel catered the food. Very tasty. T
Decent hotel near the airport. Clean room but the bed was the hardest bed I ve ever slept on.
The staff there were amazing. Every single employee I came across were friendly and helpful. The room was great!
Beautiful hotel, and very conveniently located close to the airport.
The bar was excellent.Very good choice of drinks and food. The staff were very nice and helpful. Had a great time talking to them and other people around.very friendly crowad. Never felt that I was alone
I attended a convention here. The staff was courteous, all facilities were well kept, and the on site grill is delicious.
Alex Viola wounded warriors presentation was heart felt. Westin did a nice job of hosting veterans. Didn't stay in a room nor overnight, just a luncheon with the presenter.
Nice hotel the pool was on the roof. Roof top has a Great view of the airplanes flying low
Nice staff! The van driver and Diana at the front desk were very kind and welcoming.
Enjoy your stay!
Large conference room with good technology. Suited the needs of the training I attended well. Did not stay overnight so cannot rate rooms or the check in/check out process. Wish there was a second entrance to the parking lot on the highway side of the hotel.
I had to do a forced overnightered here due to my airline. The hotel was clean, staff friendly, close to DFW with shuttle service. Full restaurant meals available. I'm glad my airline chose Westin. My sleep, although brief was very comfortable.
Just a few things to be aware of:
1. Hotel is under repairs. Not terribly disruptive but if that isn't your jam, I am telling you now.
2. Great water pressure! That is my jam!
3. The elevators are incredibly slow and often you'll have to wait. I think I saw a woman nearly have a panic attack as an elevator was packed full of people. One worker said they would be replaced soon.
4. You can't take the stairs easily. They are exit only (no entrance from lobby) and you'll end up outside. Then you'll walk around to the front and back into the building. Building codes in the 80s. . . .
5. Speaking of 80s, the exterior of the building is an early 80s brutalist design but the inside is a mix of modern and transitional elements. Then there are areas which I cannot figure out. . . If you know, you tell me!
6. (this list is getting song) The rooms are fine. Furniture is worn but so is all the furniture in my house.
The staff, rooms, and all around experience here was top notch and it was one of the cheaper options in the area.
Hotel is a bit old compared to other Westin hotels. Room was okay and service was good.
I went there for a meeting and ended up adding some time and had a very restful enjoyable time.
Not a real 3 star hotel. Pool dirty. Hallways dirty. Fridgerator missing in room. Leaky faucet. I have yet to see an employee other than the 1 check in clerk.
Parking lot is full. Hallways are noisy even at 1 am. I love this hotel chain but this location is HORRIBLE.
My wife and I are staying at The Westin over the weekend while celebrating our anniversary. It is a very pretty hotel, particularly on the inside. The reception team is extremely nice and has helped us perfectly when we needed them. We have yet to try the restaurants onsite. The room is basic with a king bed, but very clean. We are on the top floor and really enjoy the window view. I would stay here again gladly.
The planes are literally landing outside your window on the west side of the property. The while building shakes. I don't think they've upgraded this place since the 90's.
Would not recommend. These guys overbooked, I had a reservation for nearly a month for 3 people. When I checked in the best thing they could do is put me in a king room with no pull out couches. They call themselves a four star hotel but I ve seen motel rooms in better condition than the one they put me in. This was the bathtub
First time exp in USA and it didnt started well as I lost my baggage to start although people very friendly and staff helped me very comfortable
Losing faith in the brand. Last several Westin stays just ok.
Rooms are average. nothing special.
Service is ok.
bathroom towels are torn!
you'll need two arms to turn the shower nob on.
boring location, nothing around it.
the only thing good about it is the gym, which is at the 15th floor (roof) along with the swimming pool.
Not the newest hotel, but a well kept luxury hotel, great customer service, airport shuttle, bed was soft and big, comfortable (not cheap feeling) blankets and amenities. Didn't stay long but enjoyed my time. Fantastic staff, exceptionally friendly and helpful
