Very nice hotel right in the heart of the west end next to the theatre showing Tina Turner. The rooms are well decorated and offers lots of facilities. The staff on the desk were nice and very helpful. The only downside was that the restaurant area was adults only so this hotel isn't the best suited to family's despite being in the theatre area.

Fantastic hotel, got married here 10years ago and it still hasn't lost its grandeur. Location is as good as it gets, walking distance to everywhere you want to be in London.

Staff are extraordinarily friendly, helpful and attentive. Only advice is to get to breakfast early or else you have to queue... but even then they will give you presseco and buns while you wait!

*Update!

*Update!
The management keeps taking down the video of a MOUSE running around the restaurant an sthe lobby but si feel free to wmail me so I can personally share that video wuth you.
They have MOUSES running in the lobby and near the kitchen (see the added video through the end, the mouse is camera shy)
Plus the service was terrible. That said, if you do want to experience the dining at Homage, maybe it's a good idea to make a special request for just the food, without the mouse on a side ).
Please see the added video. I've heard from other people about the place being filthy but I guess just didn't wanna believe it. Now I know it's true .

Posted the video again so hopefully it'll stay this time

I m a regular guest at this hotel,great location,nice rooms,clean,just one complain;
Was expecting a delivery from Fed ex,name and room number specified on the address, the package was refused from the hotel!
Left the country and spent a lot of time tracking down the package to have it delivered somewhere else.
Little disappointed about that!

Very disappointing Afternoon Tea at the Waldorf. Poor English in the menu ["..jam is place on first"..]; poor, slow service ; stewed tea delivered ages before the food arrived; four teeny sandwiches with dried bread and boring fillings; not More

Top class hotel. I was there for a wedding. The food was delicious 10 out of ten. I recommend the fillet sea bass in white cream sauce. Cocktails very nice. The decor was stunning. Very comfortable surroundings. The table service was excellent.

Clean and professional, the Waldorf has class written all over it. The seating, lighting and facilities were perfect. Only minor annoyance was noise filtering in from other areas of the hotel through shut doors.

The hotel looks smart in it's art deco style. However for a marketed 'luxury' hotel it certainly does not warrant 4 or 5 stars! Sink was blocked, had to search high and low for hairdryer (not in usual locations), there was no bin in bedroom. Bit disappointing that the small things were not given enough attention. Sorry but just having robes in wardrobe is not enough to call it luxury.

The Waldorf is one of London's most famous and iconic hotels and lives up to everything you would expect from a too London hotel. I visited this time for lunch and everything about the experience was perfect. The food, the service and all the staff were excellent. Not cheap but I felt it was money well spent and I would recommend the Waldorf to anyone.

Lovely hotel in unbeatable location! The rooms are all updated and modern although some can be a bit smaller. The breakfast and tea room are eloquent and definitely worth enjoying a meal in. And importantly, you re just about a 10 minute walk from many great London attractions.

Hotel staff very polite and helpful. Gym staff not so...we were lied to. Spa facilities poor...the pool area way too slippy. The steam room didn t work. The sauna was nice and hot though. Very small spa facilities for such a renowned hotel.

Amazing hotel, had a wonderful stay. Had afternoon tea with free flowing champagne to celebrate my husbands birthday. Served by Theresa who was so attentive and welcoming. She presented my husband with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to him. Would recommend as it was a really lovely experience.

Great location in the heart of theatre land. Bus and taxi links immediately outside make it easy to get about. Approx 10 minute walk from nearest tube station at Charing Cross. Lots of options outside of the hotel to eat and drink so we did not try any of the hotels facilities. Queen room was a good size for London and had all the usual facilities.

In my opinion, the quality of the hotel should be much higher than the price. The sauna and the swimming pool are terrible, and the photos of the rooms differ significantly from what is in reality.

I visited this hotel when the company I work for (Julia Charles Event Management) installed their Christmas decorations. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a brilliant location. The staff couldn't be more helpful and their customer service was exceptional.

Noisy! I cannot recommend this hotel. Checked in for a week on 6/12 and had to check out on 613 because a wedding reception had loud music blaring into our room.. Also when I complained I was lied to several times, " Its almost over, it will be over at 11". I had to put up with loud music past midnight!
See other reviews about noise. Management did not care, and my credit card was charged more than a nights stay!

I don't understand why this hotel gets such good ratings. I have stayed here multiple times over the last years, and I have been disappointed on every stay. I am a diamond Hilton member and a regular at many Hiltons around the world, this one is simply bad. The hotel is very cramped, the rooms are dark and always hot. In wintertime the ac does not cool as "it is switched to heating mode" according to the staff.... The hotel is full of large and small stairs in the hallways which is difficult to navigate with suitcases. As this hotel is in the theatre district almost all the guest are pensioners from all over the UK. This results in endless lines at breakfast. The breakfast room is completely full and has a very small selection. The staff is not friendly and seems to be tired of the overload of complaining old people. The wifi has a dreadful reception and is extremely slow. Avoid, especially if u are traveling on business! Oh.... And 16 pounds for a glass of champagne at breakfast.... Don't rip off these oldtimers Hilton!

About the only plus to this hotel is the location. Front desk and executive club staff are also very nice, but I find most of the "service" mostly lip service. The building old, oddly partitioned and in need of more than the purely cosmetic refurb they have done in the last years. Rooms are very hit or miss with little control over whether you get something perfectly fine (but never outstanding) or outright tiny and miserable. This trip work up to repeated banging on the roof (the bonus of staying on the top floor) which took 3 calls to the front desk to even acknowledge what was going on. Once assured it would be short lived, I finally gave up on a leisurely morning and left. Was still going on when I returned 4 hours later.

The staff were impeccable but there it stops. Our room was ordinary; the bed had a mind of its own and rolled away as soon as you sat on it and leaned back against the headboard, leaving a gap into which you could slip and maybe injure yourself. Shame; we were looking forward to the Sunday papers in bed next morning. I had to position a heavy chair against the bottom of the bed to stop it moving; you don't have to do that even in a Travelodge. They apologised and moved us to another room where the bed was less mobile but still not fixed. That room was less attractive than the first.
Breakfast was extensive but we were sat in a giant, cold, impersonal ballroom. We won't go there again.

I've only had Afternoon Tea here however my experience was lovely. Fresh sandwiches and cakes, nicely displayed and very delicious. The portions of jam and cream (and prosecco!) are generous and they have a range of specialist teas to choose from. The Hotel staff are very friendly and professional and the overall place looks very luxury indeed

We are a family of four and we stayed at the Hilton Waldorf for a long weekend and it was a memorable stay. From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely polite, welcoming and helpful. Vlad in the main ballroom, where you have breakfast and tea, was a particular highlight. The website does not do justice to the bedrooms nor the dining area. The bedrooms are luxurious with beautiful grand bathrooms and the dining area is an art deco masterpiece from a bygone era. It was an experience just to sit there and enjoy the surroundings. The hotel itself is in a perfect location for visitors. You are within walking distance of most of London's major landmarks from Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square to the Tate Modern, St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London which is a must-see. The hop on-hop off bus stop is also helpfully round the corner. We would highly recommend a cream tea to finish off a day sightseeing. We would go back in a hurry!

My home when in London. I love this place. The hotel is fantastic even by high British standards. The rooms are modern and the service is over the top helpful. However, the bar, Good Godfrey's, is exceptional! The 1920's decor creates a warm yet elegant ambiance and the bartenders are true professionals. The hotel is centrally located next to Covent Garden so there are tons of restaurants to visit. Temple, Embankment and Holborn tube stations are within easy walking distance.
