Fantastic location. Friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay

This hotel is a real gem in the theatre district of London. Try and get a room with breakfast included. It is a great deal to have the breakfast included, it is good value and the meal is delicious. Breakfast in London is hard to get, and this is a great way to start out your day. The other option is to get an executive room with lounge access, that works too. The gym and pool are great for a hotel in London. One of my favourite spots in London!

Lovely staff ;) I accidentally left my laptop in my room but they found it and returned it back to me. Room was clean and breakfast tasty, so no complaints ;) can highly recommend!

The usual professional, friendly, smiley Hilton hospitality. Good quality food, wonderful afternoon tea and a building full of 'olde worlde' character. Comprehensive facilities too with a swimming pool, steam room and sauna. However, on our visit, the sauna was out of order and the normally halal options available in most Hiltons in the UK was not available either.

Location is great, a short walk to anywhere central. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had all the facilities I needed.

On our 2nd visit here this year and once again a very good hotel. Excellent rooms cannot fault them. Staff very efficient and friendly. Executive lounge and breakfast don't really cater for vegans however upon request we were made some delicious additions to our breakfast without any fuss.

Jazz at the Waldorf is definitely what I recommend for a romantic evening with your other half or a simple place to meet new interesting people. #jojo

Very impressed! Worth looking for a deal if you can find one x Top floor Queen room. Quiet, nicely presented and spacious. Bars and restaurants all very good. Lovely Afternoon Tea too. Staff very helpful and attentive.

Came to attend an event. Staff were well trained, courteous & attentive. Food was very good.

Showings signs of Brexit shortages. Service poor; maitre'de did her best.

Decent. Expensive for what it is, and fairly cramped inside, but decent.

The location can't be beat. That said for a Waldorf I don't feel the service or quality was of exceptional character. There are other Waldorf's in the world that really set themselves apart in terms of luxury and experience. This isn't one.

I just went in for a quick drink before a show. It's near quite a few theatres. It's clean, tidy, posh and lovely! Obviously quite expensive but it's what you expect from central London. Would like to stay there one day if I get the chance in future.

Walked into my room to find a dirty wash cloth in the entrance way. Plastic construction paper covered the windows so the room was dark and had no view. The executive lounge staff was rude to my mother and the bed was aged to there were springs poking me in the back. Just super disappointed with the entire stay

Staff were very polite and the room was top quality. Great online check in experience too. Lovely piano lounge and delicious lunch. pool closed at 5pm and could have been slightly warmer but nice to have! Great location for Covent Garden, would definitely recommend

One of the best steaks I've had at a very reasonable price. Service was a tad odd. Abrupt.

Stayed 3 nights last week. This hotel gets 5 star for location; walking distance to all the tourist spots and located in the heart of theatre district.

But the house keeping was just terrible. Didn t bother doing the room on first day. When I complained was told that it was because of a computer glitch, I wasn t convinced. Although they did send house keeping on 2nd day but left the trash bins for their guests to clean. I guess USD 500 plus does not include house keeping at this hotel!

The best was left for our final night..... loud music was playing till 1 am. Couldn t sleep, complaining to front desk is pointless. Take my advice and avoid rooms on first floor. Better choose another hotel if you want proper house keeping.

Disappointed..

Poor service. Charged my credit card numerous times with bogus fees then pretended they knew nothing about it. You would get better service at a 1 star at kings cross

Lovely afternoon tea. Relaxing atmosphere with lady playing the harp. Plenty of cakes but could have done with a few more sandwiches. Staff very friendly

What a beautiful hotel! It certainly could use some updates but it s stunning and has a charm about it. The staff is top-notch.

Went for dinner. The main course was nice, atmosphere was great. I didn't particularly like the starters or desserts on offer but that is personal taste. The only complaint is that fit the money, the portion sizes are very small.

Had a lovely stay for our wedding anniversary. The staff is extremely helpful and they made us feel very comfortable by playing with our baby. The rooms are well cleaned. We absolutely recommend this hotel.

Grand hotel and been refurbished recently, but it is lacking something...

Highly professional staff. Great set up in the hotel. Nice atmosphere. Reheim, one of the managers was terrific. He was very helpful and accommodated all of our needs. All the staff were helpful the entire time we were here. The drinks and food were great! They have an excellent gym, also. Room service e was great. They always met ate needs and I will return if I'm ever here again. Customer Service is wonderful! Location is great.

We had afternoon tea which was amazing! Apart from a little blip with a price and the bar management we had a fab edge room. Big shout out to Sven the barman! He was awesome! Informative and absolutely lovely!!!! Xxx

Nice hotel, slightly dated but located in a great location near all theaters, restaurants and sites.

A really nice hotel that is very well located.
The staff is very friendly and courteous, we felt well looked after right from the start, which continued from breakfast to departure.
The room has a very special charm, in fact there was even a European socket! The bathroom is a good size but the shower was a bit low ... I couldn't stand under it at the highest setting (I'm over 6 feet)
In itself ... absolutely recommendable accommodation!

Food was delicious just a little problem with understanding the menu got a bit confusing the waiters were delightful but need to have a better understanding of Groupon meal deals as it got a bit embarrassing when it came to the bill

A la carte food was excellent, fixed menu was good, though I would go a la carte in future. Service brilliant as you would expect. The pork belly - amazing! Bar was nice with live music and very relaxing. Washroom facilities could be better.

Check in process was terrible. No room upgrades for a loyal diamond member. Room cards did not work for room or lounge. Hotel is in need of renovation.

One of the best hotels I have ever seen/stayed in, in London...
Rooms are decorated beautifully and lobby, breakfast and bar area are just done up to the highest order.
Would highly recommend to anyone watching a show in London as is in the heart of Theatre-land...

Visited today 17/02/19 for my sister's bday and we had a wonderful time, the receptionist, Diana was very understanding as my sister was late. I also want to shout about the service we received from Ahmed (restaurant) and Megan they were very attentive and chatty (I had to wait for my sister for a long while) they really made us feel welcome.. Thank you.. Hasta la vista..

Wow. What can I say. Our London expirence has been unreal all because of the Waldorf Hilton and there amazing staff! The hotel is just breathtaking, clean and luxurious and the staff were so friendly and always available to help right away. The pool was gorgeous and the gym well kept and well updated. Room service was instant. You order and you get within 10 minutes maximum! Absolutely NO COMPLAINTS with this hidden gem in this amazing Aldwych location. Definitely coming back here without any hesitation.

Awful experience. Having made a reservation for Champagne Afternoon Tea, we were turned away at the front desk due to an issue with the booking system. The hotel made no effort to address the issue.

Splendid hotel experience. The Waldorf Hilton is located closely to several musical venues. Walking distance to Trafalgar Square. The room was clean but a little small. It had some cool art and we like the bathroom. The view was nothing special. The breakfast was very good regarding the quality of the food and the selection, but there was some waiting time as this is a busy hotel.

The Waldorf is a large, popular, well situated hotel in the centre of London s theatre district.
It s not perfect but if you approach understanding its issues you can have a good stay.
By far the most striking aspect of the hotel is that it s very busy, thanks to Hilton branding, but unfortunately understaffed. This was evident on multiple aspects which I will cover.
Check in is efficient however being an older building you can t rely on room pictures when booking. I saw 3 different rooms all of the same grade executive king . Each room had different size, layout and aesthetic. If you have particular needs ie roll away bed or space for interviews (my needs) then it s best to address this early, before booking.
Status is unlikely to result in upgrade as the rooms are just booked out.
Diamond status does afford access to the executive lounge but again this place is swarmed at peak times: breakfast and evening drinks. Often there is no seating and the food runs out. One is the main factors to this problem is that the lounge is understaffed, undercatered, and swamped with the fact that Diamond is not nearly as exclusive as you d imagine.
Solutions: Evening drinks? Arrive early and steak out your territory. Aim for breakfast downstairs. It s the same food and it doesn t run out!
(Sausages, eggs, bacon, cold cuts fruit and pastries- standard breakfast really)
Rooms are functional, clean and bigger than many of the similar offerings in London. Cleaning was patchy. Again understaffed so guest rooms are not as high a priority as cleaning rooms for incoming guests. Latest our room was cleaned was about 7pm and one day, not at all.
Standard tea and coffee but of no milk. Really Britain, really?
Pleasant toiletries. Standard messages to save the earth with concurrent overpacking of soap in cardboard and plastic.
The aircon was hit and miss. It was not coping with the summer heat.
If you have disability please let the hotel know before you arrive. The hallways are long and there are stairs everywhere. Luggage must be hand carried as there are not ramps for carts. If you are in a wheelchair you may struggle with many aspects of the hotel however they do have chair lifts and will do all they can to allow access.
Pricing was good for a longer stay. For a shorter stay I would have probably considered a different hotel however location is excellent. Plenty of food, entertainment, shopping and transport makes this a great base camp.
It comes down to how much time you ll be in the hotel and what you expect from a hotel.
Tip of the hat to the staff who have been amazing, friendly and helpful even when dealing with frustrate guests. Solid 4 star hotel.

Room was nice but they did not make up our room after our first night. I'd stay home if I wanted to make my own bed.

Reasonable conference venue, food is reasonable, service is reasonable, interior is tired / old but I think that's supposed to have character. For the price, obviously, should be much better, for London, no chance. Overall, it's good to settle for.

Breakfast was okay, full English didn't have beans, some items on the menu costed extra? Also my room didn't have cold water, however, bed was really comfortable and the room was decently sized.

Definitely need to focus on cleaning the rooms a bit more. There was a hair ball on my carpet for the entire week I was there, and was not my hair. Another hair stuck on the makeup mirror (which I luckily don't need) again there all week. Fuzz balls in the corners. Couch that needs some cleaning and TLC. For some reason the 2 different TVs had different channels? Elevators are small, slow and too few. Breakfast in the lounge was incredibly uninspired. Location is great.
