Comfortable stay. Has great amenities including free shoe shine, bath robe etc. Rooms - atleast the one that I stayed in - with king bed - was way tooo small, no bath tub, no available free movie options in TV, no view - not worth the price (stayed may 2018 - about $330 per night with tax).

We stayed over Easter and really enjoyed it. The room was very nice and very clean! We had made reservations through the Hilton Honors website and check in was very easy and quick when we got there. The bellboys were there to help with our baggage and so nice. Just love all of the details of the decor and the history there. The bed was very comfortable and the only thing that I could say was not top notch was the pillows. They are just little lumps, and we asked for foam pillows and while they were better, they were not that great. The maids did a good job each day and the turn down service was very nice. The only other suggestion that I could make was we were in a standard room and it would have been nice to have a little fridge to keep some of our left overs and coffee maker in the room. We might have been able to ask for one, but we didn't. The towels were very large and awesome. The room was very comfortable! We will be back when we are in the area and would highly recommend!

We stayed at the four seasons Austin right before & this was almost as nice for a lot less although I'm not sure about the wallpaper carpet choices. Beautiful no carpet lobby walking distance to French Quarter. The rooms were a little small but it was only $60 to upgrade to a suite with double the room so a good deal if you have a group. T3 dryer in our room what but no fridge, microwave or coffee machine. Room service & bell hop were very prompt & concierge was very nice. Hotel restaurant had good breakfast. The non hotel Italian restaurant had terrible gluten free pasta though & our bill was like $90 maybe their pizza is good there ?

We loved this hotel. Rooms were clean, beds comfie, bathrooms had nice product, Christmas decorations were magnificent, housekeeping ( Andrea) was flawless and the Sazerac Bar right there is s plus.
There was a surly bearded concierge who has to learn to smile.
We'd stay here again on a heartbeat.

Magical. Just magical at Christmas time. We stopped in to lift our Christmas Spirits, and found a Winter Wonderland. It's worth visiting just to see the giant gingerbread replica of the hotel, millions of Christmas lights, and all of the historic architectural details in the lobby. Gorgeous.

Very nice hotel. Got a free upgrade to one of their suites...very, very nice. The Internet (Wi-Fi) connectivity was borderline unacceptable (very annoying), but what really got me is cost of contents in the mini-bar and fee for room service - far and away, the most outlandish I've ever experienced.

Positives: extremely quiet if you get a room within the "courtyard" inner side facing the hotel. Probably the most quiet hotel room I have ever had in Nola. The bathroom fixtures were excellent. Great shower head(s) and there was no infiltration of sound by adjacent plumbing (sounds from other guests' flushing toilet, running shower etc.) This is where the positives end.
Negatives: Extremely dusty room. Baseboards, behind the dresser, headboard, corner of the closet were caked with dust from who knows how long ago.
Bed was like sleeping in a sagging hammock. Terribly uncomfortable bed. Pillows were limp and offered no support. Both my back and my wife's back were killing us for the entire three day trip afterward.
Tiny room with no space to place luggage or anything really. Why not get rid of the giant dresser in the tiny room so people can walk around? Very impractical room with interior design.
Value. There is none. One can stay at Le Pavillion for much less for better ambiance and service. Drury is even a fraction of the cost for the same value. All The Roosevelt has going for it is the history and the lobby. We were also overcharged for a beverage fee that I should not have incurred. This was on the first night, and no one came to the room. Intentional up-charge?
We will not stay here again.

While we were sleeping. The hotel staff and staff of the valet company allowed our vehicle to remain in a location of known flooding during a flood warning with rain in the forecast. When we went to retrieve our car from the Roosevelt hired valet we were notified our car had been under water in the place they chose to park our vehicle. UNDER WATER! The valet company has tried to be help and been somewhat apologetic but the hotel staff was appallingly un caring of our situation that occurred while we were their guest. SO much for southern hospitality! Luckily we had insurance but still had to come out of pocket almost 7k to replace our vehicle. And while we waited in the hotel lobby trying to figure out how to get home to our children on mothers day the hotel reception staff didn't even offer us a cup of coffee let alone any apologies. We will never be staying at the Roosevelt New Orleans again.

Gorgeous hotel. Very fancy. We walked into the Sazerec bar to get a Sazerec and walked out after seeing it was $17. Used the bathroom their paper towels are very nice. Unfortunately, I chat give too much more info than that.

Rooms were very dated and dirty. Water was hot and pale yellow coming out of the faucet - it's an old city and that would be fine - yet it costs $4 for a bottle of water in the room. Service was average to poor. Automated valet system didn't work. Frustrating overall.

My wife and I walked through this hotel many times just to look at all the wonderful Christmas decorations. We did not stay here but after reading other reviews we will think about it for next New Years.

Very friendly staff. Great room view, comfy bed, large bathroom. Celebrating anniversary and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special. Only complaint would be bathroom TV down channel button was broken, but it's a TV in a hotel bathroom; superfluous to begin with, so not a huge deal. Definitely recommend. Also visit Domenica next door during your visit.

Every time we are in New Orleans, we have a meal at Domenica. Happy hour is available throughout the restaurant, and you really can't beat 1/2 price pizza! We also love the crispy kale or the roasted cauliflower as appetizers, and their lasagna is delicious and big enough to share.

We had a four-room group stay this weekend and the customer service could not have been better! One of the four rooms had a breast-feeding mom and the person checking us in overheard us talking about needing a refrigerator. Without even asking, I received notification via email that a personal concierge had heard of our request and a refrigerator would be brought to their room before their arrival. Fantastic service, beautiful hotel, comfortable beds and a welcoming staff. Couldn't be better!

What a wonderful room and experience! We had the smallest room on the top floor, and it was still a great experience. Attentive and helpful staff, attention to detail, and great Hhonors perks like a free drinks. We'll be back.

Very nice hotel a true 4.5 star hotel. My wife and I went here for Mardi Gras and we had a fabulous time. The hotel seems to run very well, great customer service, everyone in the hotel seemed to be having a good time, early check-in was great. This is a great location to explore New Orleans, about 2 blocks from the French Quarter. This hotel has very comfortable beds, the kind you can get stuck in. The cleaning staff was also really good and very professional. I personally did not eat at any of the restaurants in the hotel they seemed a little pricey although they could have been worth it, not sure. There is plenty of other restaurants real close by, including some of the worlds best seafood restaurants like Deanie's Seafood. Perfectly cooked Oysters seemed to be served everywhere. One of the best things about New Orleans is the food.
