We checked in using the Hilton Honors app, once we arrived at the Hotel I used my American Express card to see if we could be upgraded to a 2 Queen Bedroom Suite (I originally only booked a 2 Queen Room) the requested room wasn't available just yet but they agreed to the free upgrade and advise they would text me once my room was available and they gave me a credit towards free room service. The hotel offers Free Checked Bags so you can leave your bags with the bellhop who secures them and provides you with a baggage tag. I was traveling with my mom so we went to Cafe du Monde and on the Steamboat Natchez for there Jazz Cruise Brunch while on board we got the text our room was ready. During our stay, the hotel made us feel like a VIP, our room was always cleaned as soon as we ventured out in the mornings and turned down and tidy up in the evenings before we returned from dinner. We really enjoyed the Teddy Cafe as a quick spot for coffee and snacks. The roof top pool was very nice, with great views of the city and surrounding buildings. They have a rooftop bar/restaurant to order drinks or pool food. I got my mom a frozen cocktail while I ordered the Shrimp Ceviche. They offer free towels and there is plenty of lounge chair seating around the pool, there's a courtyard on the roof with table seating and an additional large area with a life size chess and checkered board. Finally the Concierge desk was amazing and provided the exact info we needed in regards to the Streetcar/Trolley, it was our first time taking it and the concierge provided us with a trolley map and used a highlighter to draw us a personalize map with suggested trolley route. They recommended the ST Charles Street trolley and the pickup point was only a block away. Lastly, every time we left the hotel to get into a Uber the Hotel Doorman would open the door and also assist my mom into the Uber. Upon leaving, we got late check out and the check out was very easy and painless. We had no issues or complaints. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would recommend that you sign up with Hilton Honors to take advantage of the additional Free Perks.

I haven't stayed at this hotel yet.

This review is for the Christmas decorations. Sooo incredibly gorgeous and open to the public. The pictures don't do it justice. If you're in the area around Christmas time, take a stroll through the hotel lobby, you won't be disappointed!

We went to the sazerac bar located off the lobby. The decor is beautiful art deco style with murals from the 1930s. Service was very prompt and and professional. All the drinks my party had were excellent.

While I've been here a few times I've never spent the night, only for conferences and in the lobby. The lobby is beautiful, lots going on to look at, and it's got a real classy feel. The conference space is good, but nothing special. The catered lunches at the conference were a little lackluster. They were good, but not up to what I was hoping for in New Orleans. The deserts at lunch however were just meh. Should you stay here? No idea... but at least take a peek inside if you are near by.

This place had a great atmosphere and the menu had some unique and tasty offerings. The whipped feta was crazy good as was the pizza.
The only bad thing is follow-up customer service is lacking.
My server took half a pizza back to box it up for me. Paid the bill and asked if I could get my leftovers. She checked the kitchen and it was thrown away. She offered to have another one made but we had a large group who had driven tougher and could not hold them up. I wrote the customer service email address and not one peep from them trying to resolve what was a costly server error.
Will try again but frustrating to have two strikes for one customer service event.
Trust me that pizza was delicious and it why this was such a bad thing.

I can t rave enough about this place. Rooms very clean, and beautiful, bed oh, so comfortable and then you have a sitting room to have your meals, television in every room, including the bathroom. The staff were all friendly and professional. They spoiled me so much, I didn t want to leave! My home away from home.

This is a beautiful old hotel. Stayed here a few times. On business district side of Canal Street. We frequent the Sauzerac bar in lobby when in NOLA as they make the absolute BEST Gin Ramo's. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here at any time. Note, during Mardi Grad can be challenging to get across Canal Street to Bourbon if parade rolling as they close road off to crossing.

Annoying hotel Pros: Bed is comfy. Resteraunt service was pleasant. Cons: Provided incorrect wifi password since they were out of stickers Out of hilton honors letters as well Provided different incorrect information after inital check in information leading to a back and forth which is unacceptable at an luxury hotel. Missing the simple customer service gesture of "I am sorry". They need training. Small rooms...elbow rests against shower handle while sitting on toilet really now... No turndown service I would not stay here again. There are plenty of other luxury hotels in the area.

Super attentive, staff went above expectations for service/cleaning. The area ended up having a tap water advisory during our stay so we were accommodated with extra bottled water and information almost immediately. Hotel looked absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely recommend for anybody looking to stay close to French quarter/hot spots in New Orleans

Our hotel room smelled like raw sewage. We had to move rooms due to the smells. Everyone seems to know about this issue although pretends it doesn t exist. What they did not mention when they moved our room was that they were putting us in a room above the hotel nightclub. We heard every beat and bump all night till that club closed. :( They told me they would also comp our drinks after having to move our room. Of course there was no comp of our drinks on the final bill. If it were not for this sewage problem the hotel is having and of course the lie they told me, it may have been an amazing stay.

The desserts at Domenica were absolutely stellar and our waitress, Celina, was awesome. The room is more than accommodating and is very comfortable. Besides the lobby being decorated beautifully for Christmas, the entire hotel is gorgeous.

The elegance and history of the hotel cannot be described and just plain words. And I'm only a walk onto the property the doorman greet you with a smile and ask if this is your first time to New Orleans and the hotel. As I left the hotel and was came back into it the doorman call me by name which impressed me because of we only had a 3 minute conversation. The reception area was quick easy and painless and instructions were giving us to which hotels and how to operate them with your room keypass. The room was elegant the furniture The view just amazing. The swimming pool with the personalized cabanas and the garden area were beautiful, you would not expect to see something like that in the middle of a hotel or in the city. We're then walking distance of the French quarters it was truly amazing and convenient.
