The hotel was just fine. Very good service and location; the front desk staff in particular were excellent.

The hotel, due to its very large size, had a pretty impersonal feel to it.

The rooms left a lot to be desired. Small, dated, oddly laid-out, and poor water pressure in the shower. The desk was tucked into the corner and not easily accessible due to the proximity of the dresser on which the television sat. Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was great.

It's probably the least-impressive hotel I've ever booked through AmEx Fine Hotels & Resorts, but it got the job done.

Beautiful Christmas decorations. Close to many great restaurants and shops. In hotel dining is fantastic. Rooms are very nice and clean. Only negatives were they were out of hand soap and the digital key didn't work when I went.

What an amazing stay. The lobby is grand, and gorgeous. The staff is highly professional, and have repeatedly demonstrated to us that they are happy to help their guests. I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean, and the views, incredible. The only critique I will make is that it would have been nice to have had a refrigerator where you can put your own things in. Instead, the room we stayed in had a fully stocked mini-bar type fridge with no room for guests to store their own drinks or snacks. This was by no means a big problem for us, but definitely would have helped make an already amazing experience even better. You'd have to be a really tough customer not to love this place.

From start to finish, booking with and staying at The Roosevelt has been an awesome experience. The ENTIRE STAFF was nothing short of professional and eager to help. We plan to make it a tradition to stay there whenever we visit New Orleans. The hotel was immaculate and the LOCATION was superb. Our room was beautifully decorated and extremely confortable. I absolutely cannot wait until we can visit again. Truly a wonderful experience

This was our 1st time at The Roosevelt. Our go to hotel in NOLA is The Windsor Court, but on this particular occasion my daughters surprised us with a gift of 3 nights at the hotel. The surprise worked. The Roosevelt was very nice, abundant hospitality, delicious fine food in all their restaurants, Domenica's was wonderful and the Sazarac Bar served us well. The suite was pleasant and spacious; well appointed and all its features operated flawlessly. The Bell Captain acted like a first class concierge and his staff was attentive, especially during the driving morning rains of our checkout. We left the day of the NOLA Jazz Festival. All I thought during a white-knuckled drive home was the peaceful stay at an elegant hotel, The Roosevelt ... that got me through it.

Went to view the holiday decorations, absolutely stunning! Easily can see why it is on a " must do", for the New Orleans holiday season. Followed by happy hour at Domenica within the hotel as well. Excellent!

Loved staying in this historic hotel, right in the middle of things. Because it is such a popular tourist destination and in the middle of the most popular tourist area, it doesn't have a very intimate feel, but that is more than made up for by its beautiful facade and history. The concierge and customer service team did a very nice job.

What started off to be a disappointing trip with my wife, was rectified by the Hotel Concierge service. Thank you for trying to make the wrongs right. That being said... do not use the Hilton "on line" Concierge and just go thru the on site Concierge at the Hotel to get what you desire...

We went to the Polar Express and this place is on another level at Christmas. The decorations and white lights draw people from all over. Everyone is friendly and kind. It's like walking into another world. My aunt got the Roosevelt Suite and we loved being there before AMD after the Polar Express event

My favorite hotel. Period. I love coming and seeing David the Doorman greet us like we are part of his family. The hotel is beautiful and everyone is always on their game. No better place at the Holidays, absolutely beautiful!

The hotel is probably a block from Bourbon Street. We walked to Bourbon Street every night and felt safe walking to and from the hotel. We also walked the approximate 1 mile to the mall and river. The hotel is near lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were welcoming and professional. Ashley Carey took excellent care of us during our 4-day New Years' vacation. The lobby/reception area of the hotel was decorated like a winter wonderland; lighted trees lined the lobby from the front door to the back door. We had a 2 room king suite with a view of the river and city; the room had luxury carpet and furnishings.

The Sazerac Bar is a must for all tourists to try the original sazerac. Make sure you bring plenty of cash or room on the credit card as one cocktail can set you back about $14. They have a Vesper like cocktail that's worth trying. Don't ask for bar snacks as they either don't have any or unwilling to bring it out...trust me, I've tried when they were slammed.

Very beautiful hotel. Hotel staff was kind and considerate and superbly helpful. I was attending a conference and about the only complaint was not enough women's restrooms for the attendees. Was able to solve by heading to to my room. I didn't have a view but my accommodations were impeccable and delightful. I will not hesitate to stay again (unless I'm broke).

The rooms seem to be a bit dated but all in all the hotel still has its Classical appeal. It is a great hotel in that all the amenities seem to be available in one location. The rooms are a bit pricey.

The location of the hotel is fantastic and in the middle of the city. Everything important can be done on foot. The service in the hotel was as expected great. Room service comes in twice a day. Restaurant (The Fountain) in the hotel is okay but not as good as the hotel itself and pricey, but there are plenty of options nearby. If you are in New Orleans its a great place to stay.
