Excellent 5-Star in Berlin. Highly recommended. The service is super friendly and individually tailor. Wow. The rooms are newly re-furbished - very nice, modern and elegant. The location is also more than perfect. Walking distance to all major key location on Berlin.

A Short Review of The Ritz-Carlton Berlin
We stayed for 3 nights in November 2019 at The Ritz. Here are my points:
Location:Excellent (opposite the Postdamer Platz and the Bahnhof)
Building:New, clean and big
Room:Spacious, quiet, comfortable
Bathroom:Full marble, separate bath and shower facilities
Small details: 2 USB wall chargers at each side of the bed, excellent lighting switches
Breakfast: (did not try it)
WI-FI : Free and super fast
Summary: Excellent

Exceptional and perfect. We were here for Pentecost, everything was perfect. Great service, great rooms with a view of Potsdamer Platz. Everything perfect.
In the evening, just enjoy dreamy cocktails - the cocktail menu is beautiful.
We are happy to come back!

Wonderful location, really convenient base to the whole city. Lovely classic decor, rooms good size with everything you would expect*.

Service from staff first class as you would expect. Would stay again.

WiFi is an expensive(!) EUR 20, extra per night which is outrageous.

We stayed here for three days, three days of pampering, a welcoming staff smiling instinctively as they see you, opening pleasant conversation and showing they care. A five star indeed with touches of luxury, finesse and style.

Unfortunately, couldn't check in because someone spilled a glass of orange juice. To walk around the puddle or to wipe it away was too much for the unfriendly gentleman at the counter. But that seems to happen often ...

An imposing entrance area allows guests to indulge in the golden, voluminous years. The rooms are beautiful, especially if you get one with a view of Potsdamer Platz and Berlin. The box spring beds are extremely comfortable and let you sleep on clouds. The bathrooms are very spacious, high quality and tastefully decorated. The breakfast buffet in the brasserie was very extensive, full of variety, unfortunately some things were empty for quite a long time and were not refilled. The spa pool area is a bit small for the size of the hotel and the number of rooms, but tasteful.

The rooms were clean and spacious, the service at the front desk left nothing to be desired. The reason for the two stars is the service in the bar, there were four of us in the bar, we had to ask for a menu cards 4 times, our order was even after multiple requests only after 30 minutes added to it came up with a good 30 minutes on it in which we waited for the order, every table got nibble on the house our table was unfortunately empty I would like no rumors in the day but in our opinion it was our look were probably not lifted enough dressed. Nevertheless, a nice little left. Tip to the hotel people in sweatpants exactly the same as other guests and we can also money.

I was on my honeymoon a month ago. It was very relaxed to enjoy a week in Cuba. The following weekend at the Ritz-Carlton shot us straight back to reality. A glass of orange juice dropped out of my hand when I checked in, which is why we were refused entry. It was just orange juice. I didn't expect such a problem even though the reviews predicted it. BOTTOMLESS FREEDOM !!!

One of my favorite place to stay in Berlin!
Near to the business district, plush environment and distinguish service.
Cool staff and good vibe! I will stay there again.

Best hotel in Berlin. You won't find a better property or better staff in the city. The location is good for both tourists exploring the city, or for a business trip. Public transportation is directly across the street, so it's the perfect base to travel to anywhere in the city, or beyond. The prices can sometimes be a little higher, but the service and accommodations make it a bargain nevertheless.

Check in was stand offish. Offered no information unless I asked the question, even though they new I had never stayed there before. Put me in a room right next to construction where they task of the day was drilling into tile/concrete. Had to leave the room just to think. They had neglected to warm me about the construction, and when asked when it would be over I was told 1630. They were still drilling at 1800. I received no relief to any of my complaints. Breakfast was ho-hum. Coffee luke warm, food area cramped and cluttered. Service inattentive.

Everything was fine, but much less than my expectations from the ritz.

When I arrived all the none of the room keys worked and you had to escorted back to your room each time.

The next day, however when the system was working - getting a key was a whole problem... people asked for your documents, ID and information

Great Hotel and location. Restaurants are beautiful, gym is great for a hotel gym. Rooms are beautiful and bed is very comfortable. Rooms are very modernized. The only reason I m not giving five stars is cause the pool was cold for everyday I was there and restaurant staff at the buffet are disorganized and you often lose your table when you go to eat. It s really unfortunate that such a nice hotel has a mess of staff.

Cannot afford it myself to write a detailed review, but I would write a detailed review if I could afford, so I can say, from outside it looks noble. Real style. If I would be High Society, I would go there. No doubt.

Amazing bar experience. The cocktail menue is an art piece itself and the cocktails are to die for. And with the new bar (will open in a few weeks) the experience will get even better (cocktails based on parfume)....

As with every trip to Berlin, the visit to the Curtains Club of the Ritz-Carlton was a must. Unusual, exotic and creative cocktails meet in an open, very friendly atmosphere and you just feel welcome from the first moment.

I booked a room for my parents for 4 nights with lounge access on the 10th floor in "The Ritz-Carlton Berlin". This was my 25th wedding anniversary gift.
Unfortunately, my parents had to tell me with regret that they had been disappointed with this luxury hotel.
When you check in you were unfortunately not shown to your room, as you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately, the disappointments continued after that.
The heating didn't work in the first room, so my parents had to freeze even after bringing in a heater (which was not properly placed). Upon request, they were given a replacement room on the 3rd day of their trip.
On the one hand, it wasn't much warmer in this room and the hot water in the bathroom took a long time to warm up. Unfortunately, the underfloor heating in the bathroom didn't work here.
Also, when I was visiting my parents one day, we found mold in the mini-bar.
My parents found the lounge and the friendliness of the entire hotel staff positive.

Best hotel I've ever been. We visited here for four nights. The hotel location is perfect, in the center of Postdamer Platz, but of course no sound is being heard from the outside.
They have a daily "getting ready to the night" free service where they get your room with shoes near the bed, TV guide set for the day, chocolates, etc...
Pool is open and free, take your bathing suit even in the winter.
We didn't take breakfast but it looks delicious, like any other service in the hotel, in a very high class!
Highly recommended.

Tea hour in a wonderful atmosphere. We were expertly introduced to the variety of fine teas and have learned to enjoy and appreciate the ambience. The tea hour slowed down in an inimitable way and was for us an oasis of calm in the hectic center of Berlin.

Reception on arrival very friendly and courteous. It takes 15 minutes for the luggage to arrive in the room. Breakfast room too small, so that you have to wait 5-7 minutes for a seat. The service staff passes by several times without asking if you want coffee. 5 minutes after 11 am, the buffet is cleared without notifying the guests. Check-out takes 30 minutes because there are too few counters and the guests have to queue.
That works better, as other well-known hotels in Berlin can prove.
