This is a great company for all your automotive lighting needs. Very great service and really great products. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for automotive lighting needs.

Very poor customer service.

I have purchased a set of clear lenses from this merchant on 2/23/2019. The merchant never sent the product to me claiming they were in the middle of the move and kept promising to send it right away the following day. After many false promises and 1.5 weeks, I have requested a full refund. The merchant promised a full refund in the next few days along with cancellation email. No cancellation email or refund was issued a week later. I have initiated a dispute with my CC.

I do not recommend purchasing anything from this Merchant. Even the top customer service executive I spoke to was helpless.

Avoid at all possible costs.

Every time I have ordered from TRS my items have always arrived in a timely matter.Customer Service is awesome. I had one ballast go out on me after almost two years and they replaced it with no hassle.

Not sure what some of these other people are talking about with the ballasts flickering and failing below 30 deg...mine perform flawless in week long 0 deg temps.

Ok TRS is one of the most legit and trustworthy corporation on the retrofit and HID illumination world! I first came across the business when I was in need of upgrading my headlight's output.I had many crappy ebay kits over the years that went straight to hell.A total waste of money!I bought a MD2S 3.0 pair of projectors along with the whole background set(ballasts/bulbs/harness etc) and finally I could safely drive at night.I got the retrofit bug ever since and keep on purchasing top quality stuff on and on.
Those guys are really helpful and trully stand by you when you need them.Very friendly and open to ask them anything around HIDs via chat/mail or a phone call.They are there for you!

These guys are specialists in their field and know what they are doing. They stand behind their products and provide EXCELLENT customer service. Can you get a cheaper HID kit on eBay sure? Will you get comprehensive instructions along with nice packaging, better quality parts, and customer service that makes you think you are talking to a close friend? Probably not! See for yourself!

Bought my Morimoto 7443 Switchbacks from these guys. The product arrived timely and works/looks excellent on my 2018 RAV4. I've actually already placed a second order of lights because I was so satisfied with how fast to ship they are.

TRS the only place to get your lighting goods. I tried a few of those "other guys" and nothing beats the quality and service brought to by TRS. I have since probably bought 10 kits from TRS over the past couple years and only had to warranty one ballast and it was handle no questions asked. Plus these guys are local to me in the heart of ATL which means I can walk in get what I need and leave. Plus every time I go the staff is friendly and always eager to show off some of the new goodies.

Products are great! HID kit 10x better quality (had the 35w Morimoto for 2 years before that I had Ebay Xenon brand ballast and they will always blow out on me.) than ebay brand kits especially the light output it provides!

Projectors are awesome I just wish the 27MM nut on the mini H1 wouldn't strip that easily.

RGB XC Halos are excellent one problem was that White has a hint of blue. Straying away from the products.
Lets talk about customer service. They have EXCELLENT customer service. They will go the extra mile to help you out!

Very knowledgeable and took time to help me pick what was right for my 4Runner and explain the differences.

I just recently got a new vehicle that had just the regular halogen bulbs, and I really missed the bluish flash and fade up when I would turn on the headlights from my previous vehicle...so I started to look at HID kits for my new vehicle. TRS came up as a suggestion online, had good reviews and seemed like they sold a quality product, so I decided to give it a shot.

I got the Morimoto H11B Elite XB 5500K for my 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback, product arrived within 2 business days or so good customer service there. My thoughts on initial product quality - mostly everything in the kit looked nice and solid, from the ballasts to the bulbs to the relay kit. Maybe a plug or two that I thought was a little cheap, but it would really come down to the install and how everything fit together.

After prepping my vehicle to make the swap, I followed the instructions to hook up the relay harness to all the components. I was pleasantly surprised how everything fit together flawlessly, and super thankful that the kit came with the male to female adapter piece to go between the relay harness and the OEM battery side input - I thought I wasn't going to need it, but I did notice that the relay harness wasn't fitting the OEM connection plug 100%. I put the adapter in and it fit perfectly and gave me connectivity. Tested by turning on my headlight switch and boom...both bulbs fired up. Most time-consuming part wasn't putting the kit together, it was tying everything into my vehicle in a way that would preserve the kit and connections.

To be honest, I was a little nervous to tear into my fairly new vehicle and mess around with something as massively important to your safety as your primary lighting. The TRS website and support staff was great though, and made me feel better about really getting in there and doing the install. Really nice resources on there that explain all about the kits and the products they sell.

I would say that I'm fairly tech savvy but I'm not in the garage every weekend working - not an expert by any means. But what can I say TRS made me feel more of an expert than just going on forums and ebay looking around and trying to figure out what I need. TRS was a turnkey solution and made it easy for me to do this project, and the headlights really do look great now...awesome bluish-white hue that lights up the road way better than before.Let's see how they hold up over time - but for now, definitely a satisfied customer.

I was initially impressed when I visited TRS headquarters for some light upgrades on my car. The gentleman who helped me (don t remember the name) was very knowledgeable and steered me in the right direction for what I was wanting. A few hours after the purchase was made all the problems began to start. One of the brand new Morimoto 2stroke 2.0 lights were flickering very bad, so bad that I couldn t drive at night which was a problem. Emailed TRS promptly after and to this day never got a response from that email. Had to call multiple times to get someone on the phone. I finally got everything squared away to get the replacement sent. Was told in the email that the replacement was all set to be sent out to me . The following day I get an email saying the warranty light is out of stock. Called to verify and this was the case. Was told the back order wouldn t be long and should be back in stock in a week. Two weeks later I still don t have a replacement and they still don t know when they will have more In stock. Every customer service rep I have spoken with has acted like they could care less. Seems to me they put on quite a front when they want you to spend money. As soon as you have a problem it s no longer of concern. I don t understand how they have a warranty light ready to be mailed to me and suddenly it s out of stock. Seems like a bunch of BS to me. I would be hard pressed to be a returning customer after this fiasco but I m sure they could care less

Had an issue with an igniter which was under warranty. Spoke with AJ and he was very helpful and resolved my issue without any hassles. TRS always delivers and leaves us happy customers. THANKS

Ordered EVOX-R projectors along with 5Five ballasts and XB35 5000k bulbs.. AMAZING setup! All parts were of high quality and well worth $300 to do the retro. A year later I bought CBI bulbs from them and you can't beat their prices along side the authentic bulbs being sold! LED projectors for my next retro are on tap!

I purchases xenon HID upgrade kit for my 2017 Kia Sorento & they delivered very timely & the kit fit great. I did have a dim lamp straight out of the box & I contacted them & they promptly sent me a replacement lamp which work great. They made the exchange process supper easy, I just had a to send an email with a picture of the defective lamp that they wanted disabled in a certain way. After that case closed. I highly recommend.

I recently ordered a pair or Mazda LED fog lights, messed up the install in the process. I emailed Matt and was well taken care off. He offered great discount on a replacement pair, decided not to take and he happily transfer the discount to another LED for Toyota instead. They didn't have to but they will do everything they can to earn your business.
Very happy with their service and will go to them again for my all my HID needs!

My Morimoto 35W HID kit has been outstanding the past 3 years. No issues what so ever, over my ownership and TRS is my first recommendation to anyone starting to retrofit or even a simple HID kit. Looking toward to spending lots of time towards future retrofits on my next cars with TRS and Morimoto.

I had a set of TRS HID systems in my custom lights a couple years ago. Since then I got a new vehicle and was trying to find he cheap choice from amazon before realizing you cannot replace quality and performed, or customer service with a $$ amount. After getting my HID system you can immediately understand their worth due to quality of manufacturing and performance. Great product and well worth the money!

Everyone I've dealt with here has been friendly and knowledgeable. Luckily they're local too!

Bought some housing from them last year , price was fair and fast shipping , had some question about other projectors and i got some pretty detailled answers .

I ordered both the HID kit for 2014+ GMC Sierra as well as the XB LED fogs, the products are excellent quality and the install was very straight forward. Around a year later I had an issue with a HID Ballast not always firing. Jaylen at customer service was fantastic to deal with, they helped me diagnose the issue and got a replacement part sent out ASAP. Even waived the shipping fee. I can t recommend them highly enough!

Great company to deal with! The shipment got here a day early and was beyond my expectations on light output. The website is extremely simple and accurate to use when searching for bulb sizes.

I have order two separate times for The Retrofit Source Inc. and each time the transaction and dealings were flawless. The products they are offer are second to none. I purchases the Morimoto XB LED Fog lights and these things are light years better than stock! I have also seen several TRS members frequent forums and groups and are SUPER responsive to question on almost any subject! TRS has some incredible products and the highest quality HID components on the market! I retrofit my Tacoma to HID using their projector retrofit kit, it plugs right into existing wiring and makes a huge difference! I would never go back to halogens or even the cheap ebay HID conversion kits. Next project is the wife's 4Runner - can't wait to customize my setup with TRS HID headlights!!!

I ordered a HID harness online and was able to pick it up at the store 2 days later. I chatted with someone on their website and they were very responsive and helpful. The harness was of great quality compared to others and the pricing was competitive. Will be using them again.

Bought a retrofit kit for my 04 Xterra, Very simple install that anyone can install. Their customer service is great and they have live support which is a plus. Will be buying another kit soon for my car

PWP Acura TSX with the Clear lenses. replaced the OEM Fresnel lens and it looks a ton better. The only negative I can see is that I will need new bulbs because now I can tell that when the dealership changed one when I purchased the car they used cheap oreillys bulb and not the factory Osrams. The color flicker is much more defined and more evenly distributed light. Much better than stock. Now about to order some D2S Morimoto XB35 in 5500k so that should help light output and the color flicker much more defined. Awesome place to order things from, will be ordering more.

Great customer service and product support! My 2 year Morimoto Halogen to HID projector conversion lights failed while out of town. Fortunately I had my original H11 halogen bulbs in the vehicle and in 5 minutes had them back in the projectors and working. I emailed TRS (it was a weekend) and they sent me a couple diagnostic videos Monday morning. I email back that it looked like the ballast died, they sent me a new Ballast and igniter free of charge (including free shipping). I Installed them & the HID lights are working again. I couldn't' ask for customer service or support!

Recently I became interested in retrofitting and upgrading my headlights. I ended up on the The Retrofit Source website. Once I entered my cars info, I was shown what would fit my car. At the time I only bought Osram d2s HID bulbs, but will be returning once I figure out what I would like to do to my headlights.

I was introduced to TRS after my retrofit went bad at a show, a TRS representative at SouthrnFresh4 I was attending stopped to help me. That 10 minute talk alone sold my on the customer service on them, and have never looked back on any purchase I've done with them. Mike at the location makes it better by being a great help and I went to swap the blue for white license plate light and he was great and knowledgeable and I only hope this company organized better than what I had to dealt with in the past and I got mike because I sent an email through customer support and he had answer my email very fast and accordingly and thanks again mike

I've been buying from them since the beginning. You can get cheaper prices if you look really hard but you're guaranteed a quality product when you purchase from TRS. If you don't get what you expected they will take care of you. Everyone that works here seems to like what they do as there's no shortage of car nuts when you visit the shop.

I've always received excellent products in the past from The Retrofit Source but the current line of ballasts is the best product I've used to date.

Used them for 3 separate retrofits. All the cars in my family have Projectors supplied by TRS. Never had a negative experience yet, always helpful with any questions i have, and bent over backwards for a warranty concern. Very happy repeat customer, will always turn to TRS for my retrofit & HID needs.

I purchased a set of bulbs in Dec of 2018 and one of the bulbs recently began to fail. I sent an email to the support dept and within minutes I received a response and the bulb was covered under warranty with NO HASSEL. Great customer service and great guys that stand behind their products!!!

I've known about TRS for quite some time, but this is my first time actually buying something from them. I will tell you it won't be the last. Everything was shipped quickly, and most of my questions about the Morimoto kit I purchased was easily answered on their website. I'll definitely be back.

Deformed lens on Morimoto D2S square projector. This appeared to be a manufacturing / casting issue on their new revision. It happens, that's what returns are for, and I elected for my standard round kit. Customer support was terrible. No update to ticket, had to call after 2 business days elapsed. Upon call, despite no ticket update, I was informed that techs looked and told me deformation was normal. I asked why their stock images to not reflect deformation. No response. Had to pay return shipping. Upon asking to reference my past orders, they could not locate any. Good to know if any of my customers wants a warranty return, as my records are more comprehensive then theirs. The company was just bought out, and could not expedite a replacement. They would be moving warehouse for 3 business days. I've shifted my ordering to HID Kit Pros. Same prices, same (better?) product, and cheaper shipping. Their team expedited shipment within 2 hours, and I had my replacements in 2 days. Customer service is everything!

I think they need to hire some more people to take phone calls about existing orders. I've called 4 times and haven't spoken to anyone yet... The first 3 calls I was on hold for over ten minutes, the last call was on hold for almost 18 minutes... Still haven't spoken to anyone.

I recently purchased and installed a D2S HID projector system and I love it, the customer service is the best I have ever experienced, all my questions and concerns were answeso once installation came, it was easy.

TRS is the only place I will buy retrofit parts from. They started from the bottom now TRS is here to stay! A bunch of great guys. Everytime I purchase an item it comes to me quickly. They keep growing and growing with more products to purchase. I recently bought a set of Amber and White Leds for turn signals. Excellent quality. Purchased a HID kit that had a few issues. Attempts to process a warranty claim is like pulling teeth. I am sure tech support is great, but the warranty / return process is the worst I have ever experienced. Even if you can get it done, any money you are owed will take like 2 weeks to get back for some reason. My suggestion is if you need to do a warranty claim for a simple part, just buy the part you need from Amazon and get it the next day vs spending a week discussing it with them and more weeks waiting to get your money back.

I purchased a pair of LED headlights and had to warranty one of them. The process was very easy and the replacement arrived quickly. It is installed and working as it should. Thank you to Jaylen for all of the assistance.

These guys are great. They discontinued the projectors i wanted right before ordering but agreed to sell me their last few sets at a discounted price. The projectors worked out perfect for my set up and retrofit helped me through out the whole process.

I bought the H11 elite HID kit from them and I can tell you they have the best customer service. During installation, Mike and Neil helped me with grounding issue and I was able to get my light working within minutes. They even offer to give me replacement parts if my part go wrong. You should buy from TRS for first the amazing customer service then the great quality product.

I have bought everything from HID bulbs to LED bulbs. The quality of the bulbs are great. Service is great and just to show how good quality is, quality is great. Im running their kits for about 3 years on my bike, with always on HIDs, and they are still working! I always go to them first for anything HID related including relays, bulbs and ballasts.

Received my HID kit today, fast receipt and nice presentation looking forward to installation later this week!

Had a set of h11 LEDs for about a year and a half. Had a bulb burn out today. Emailed them about and it and they sent me a replacement same day no questions asked! Great, easy to work with guys that stand behind their products.

I have been using TRS and Morimoto products through two vehicles. They have great customer service and a huge amount of knowledge of the products they sell. They sell one of the best quality aftermarket lighting brands out there, Morimoto. You can't go wrong with these guys if you're looking for anything from simple bulbs to full blown retrofitting of OEM housings with BiXenon lighting. These guys are enthusiasts in automotive lighting and performance.

Great customer service! I've had a small issue with one of my bulbs flickering slightly. I reached out to customer support and within a few days I had a new bulb at no charge! Highly recommend TRS.

I recently purchased the Morimoto 2stroke 2.0 led headlights from TRS and all I can say is I love them! And on top of that shipping was in a timely manner two days and they were at my door step. Would definitely recommend Morimoto and TRS!

I have bought quiet a bit from the RetroFit Source, but my favorite purchase to date is my Morimoto LED foglights for my FX35. The build quality was second to none; they fit perfectly and the output, cutoff line and colour is amazing. Would definitely recommend giving them a try.
Oh and their customer support is hands down the best in the business.

I am going to need a complete refund, this system is completely not satisfactory and is not compatible with a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. I just received the replacement ballast today 8/15/2018 and have replaced for the second time, and once I replaced the driver side I went to the headlight switch inside the cab, turned the headlights on and now I have zero headlights headlights working, the passenger side has been working just fine until I replaced the replacement driver side. I have no further option but to go back to stock. I purchased these for the purpose of SAFETY IN MIND for my family and I driving at night and now it s been 2 weeks with this vehicle Completely shut down. I don t know what s gone wrong with the quality of this product but this is just completely unsatisfactory and unacceptable. I have even purchased the Morimoto fog lights from TRS and the output on the side goes way further than what s Produced in the center of this so called LED projector fog light.

The fog lights I will keep, but I need a complete refund on the complete HID kit.

Had to stop by and visit while I was in Atlanta since I've been following the company almost since the beginning. Andrew was such a great help and went out of his way to not only personally answer my questions, at which I felt like I was firing away like a 4 yr old, but also demoed just about everything in and on the cabinet for me. Products are top notch and I was even more impressed with the Morimoto led DRL's & replacement fog lamp assemblies as they are mostly housed in an all metal housing unlike plastic like most companies do and even factory parts are made in. Picked up the bulbs I wanted and Andrew hooked it up so that my other products that were back ordered get shipped directly to me. Couldn't have asked for a better experience just wish I had time to see some behind the scenes stuff.
