Good coffee, unique ice teas, antiques, and friendly staff!

It's bigger than it looks. Once inside it goes on for a while. Decorated with a cool style it makes it nice to sit a whole and relax. The coffee is on par and the food is just ok but not bad, just ok. Good for a break during the day.

A great coffee shop with amazing atmosphere and even better coffee!

This little hopping coffee gem is hipster central in New Philly. Really laid back atmosphere. Really good coffee. I didn't take a picture of it, but they have a 'Stranger Things' reference on one of the walls. Go in for a visit and see if you can find it. Have not seen Stranger Things? Too bad. It's a show on Netflix and it must be watched if you want to be entertained.

Our americanos were just okay. I had a scone that was on the stale side (though they did offer to warm it up). They have coffee beans stored in glass jars which, while pretty, works against freshness.
The decor is really eclectic...and while that's largely personal preference, the layout was not conducive to first time visitors.
I will definitely try here again, but my first visit - like my coffee - did not impress.

Coffee is dynamite, but the internet connection seems seriously slow & throttled the past few times I've been here. Saw that they had internet handled by Verizon, which level of package it is? If they're running on a civilian-grade router that could be it too. I've seen a few gamers in here, wondering if QOSing with a real router them might be considered for those of us trying to get some work done? Cool place to hang.

Such a comforting place. They have great food and drinks. And the set up inside is really cute!

My first time at this cool local cafe. Nice place to hang out with friends and have a coffee. I didn't have any food, but the baked goods looked great and the other food looked good also.

The staff here is friendly and their food/drinks are always great. There is sometimes a wait, just depends what time you go.

You have to try their caramel apple cider, it was absolutely amazing! They also have great food with a unique dining experience.

Their soup and sandwiches are off the chain. Lost a star because drinks you enjoy aren't likely to be the same more than once.

Love the atmosphere of this small town coffee shop. An there coffee's an teas taste great. An if it's your first time, tell them what your in the mood an they can mix something up you'll fall in love with.

This is the absolute worst cafe I have ever been to! Absolutely do not go here to eat under any circumstances! It's very dirty, we waited 40 minutes for eggs, toast, and sausage. I finally went up and said I wanted my money back, I was ignored then all the sudden the food comes out and it's cold! There was no butter on the toast, no salt and pepper on the table. They did not offer to refill the coffee. They make you pay and add a tip 1st before they bring you your cold food and very poor service. Avoid this place like the plague...

By far the best hangout spot in Tuscarawas county and surrounding areas. Anytime I'm in town I stop at least once. The owners are very nice and accommodating, having shipped me my coffee supply for years now.
I'm still trying to find a place that replicates the welcoming atmosphere and relaxing environment. With fair prices, amazing employees, and great coffee there is no other place to visit for your coffee fix.

All the staff are amazing... The food is great... The atmosphere is warm and inviting the coffee is roasted to perfection and has a great taste unlike a chain competition that I won't mention......

Super environment, very relaxed, we love it here, there are vegan food options which is very nice. Staff at register could be more polite and attentive, so customer service could be improved a bit , but I'm a customer service professional More

I had come here for lunch after one of my classes and sadly waited for 45 min for my order which was a sandwich and a cup of soup. The environment is, however, a great place to meet people and have a conversation.

Everyone was super nice, the drinks were good and so was the food. It had a super cute set up in it. would 100% recommend for dates, studying, or just to hang out with friends

Best coffee and food I've had in a while. Only thing that leaves more to be desired is their espressos... Past that, ambiance and food/drink is unparalleled.

Love the Carmilla Gorilla! Haven't tried anything else yet, but can't wait to find out if the rest of their drinks are just as awesome. Love the decor. Electric antiques with quirky modern artist knick knacks. Hope to spend some quality time here getting yo know the place and food.

This coffee shop is a lot larger than it looks on the inside! Lots of seating, as well as a good amount of drinks/pastries/deli style food to chose from!

The service is poor, I didn't bother leaving a tip because of it. THEY HAVE BUGS: GNATS, FLIES, AND ANTS in the dining area. If there are bugs in the dining area, there's more than likely bugs where they prepare the food. The air conditioning is leaking and blows condensation on patrons. The manager knows about it but won't do anything about these problems. I wouldn't recommend eating the food or drinking the beverages here.

I love the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff at this shop. There's also no pressure to leave or order more just to stay in the shop, and free wifi is available that is pretty reliable. The inside itself is on the colder side, but it's tolerable if you don't dress too lightly. The coffee is alright, about the same price as Starbucks but healthier (ex. The default for coffees is skim milk). Keep in mind that eating here can get pretty expensive. I had a turkey avocado wrap that came to $9 on its own.

Generally good specialty drinks, but the house brew is generally overextracted. Not so much that a normal drinker will find fault, but someone who's been trained to dial in coffee will definitely notice.

It's what you would want and expect in a local coffee shop. Good environment to study, or socialize.

I was traveling through and wanted some breakfast that wasn't fast food so I ordered take out from this place. Nice place from what I could tell from picking up my stuff at the register. Got one of their specials, caramel cookie I think? But very delicious and an egg and cheese on croissant sandwich which was also very good and miles better than the same from any fast food place. Plus they have several choices for cheese on the sandwich too. I'm going to be trying to stop by here again someday

Expensive, but the employees are very friendly and the food/drinks are always excellent.

Had the gouda salad and mango peach lemonade for lunch. Food and drink were great. Service was excellent. This a great place to also plant yourself with a laptop and get some work done.

Great coffee house in New Philly. I've seen this shop transform over the past ten plus years. They continue to invest in the business, and it looks really nice inside. Lattes are delicious. Great staff!

I ve been coming here for years and I ve always had great service and the Greek hummus pita wrap is where it s at! So good!

I was visiting my hometown and had lunch here after being gone for years and it was really different. Well the service that is. The new high schoolers they employ aren t trained well. Grounds in the coffee, grilled cheese that was close to burnt on the outside but the cheese wasn t melted through. Ingredients and the decor was pretty much the same which is the only reason they got two stars instead of one.

The food is excellent, the abiance is great, but the service time is awful! Consistently awful. It would be almost perfect if service was just faster.

Love going here. Support local coffee shops. Only complaint is wait time.... But typically worth it!

Really great Club sandwich, and the berry cream soda was absolutely delicious. They brought our food outside, we're friendly, and the experience was magnificent. Definitely highly recommended for lunch. Looking forward to returning to try the coffee!

Seemed like a nice place.. but there was people hanging outside of entrance smoking .. Looked bad... Disgusting had to wait till they went inside to enter . I had young grandchildren in car

The Daily Grind is The place to gather in the Dover Phila area. Coffee is great, servers are wonderful and the atmosphere is nostalgic and comfortable. The lunch service isn't quite fast enough to get in and out over a lunch break, but the food is good.

Beautiful place to go in order coffee such a unique and interesting atmosphere very clean and a large variety of menu options, however in my experience the staff was very slow and not knowledgeable, they referred a lot to the computers but they were friendly they might have just been new.

Ordered and sat for an hour and a half until anyone asked me if I had ordered, with me having one of the numbers on the table with me

If you are in a hurry this is not the place to stop. If you have hours to spare...enjoy some delicious food and coffee.

Comfortable, good drinks. Service can be super slow at times depending on timing, but overall we enjoy sitting to have coffee and a free refill :)

Slowly becoming my favorite place to eat, drink, or read. The variety of people who share this place is amazing, and the Greek Hummus Pita alone is worth the visit.

To be fair, they probably do make a good cup of java here, but their outdoor sinage reads, "food," "salads," and "sandwiches." We were traveling through, missed our turn, and settled on eating here as we were starving and pressed for time. We each ordered a sandwich. What I got was a $9.00 roll with what looked like left over salad just haphazardly thrown on top of a slice of chicken breast so thin I could practically see through it. I was so disappointed and left feeling ripped off. Daily Grind should just stick to coffe and cookies if they aren't willing to expend the money and effort necessary to be good sandwich place.

Never coming here again. Terrible service and coffee. I tried to write a short review but this needs more than a few words.

I waited in line for 15+ minutes just waiting to get my order taken.There was a couple that was before me who had just finished ordering and were waiting for their drinks, so I figured I wouldn't wait long. Nope! It somehow took that long to order with at least 6 people running around behind the counter and in the kitchen. Some of the staff were too busy leaving the work area to chat with customers about mundane things to actually work, so that probably didn't help. Multiple staff saw me standing there waiting to order and ignored me. After a while, one of the staff members looks over attentively.

Oh, finally! She'll take my order.

Nope!



Another couple of minutes pass. The woman I was ignored for had already received her drink and left. I'm considering leaving when FINALLY one of the staff approaches the counter and asks what I would like to order. I ask for an iced latte, and a couple of minutes later it's unceremoniously handed to me with no apology for the wait, no thank you or anything.

Okay, whatever. I finally have coffee now. This place has great ratings from what I've checked, so the coffee must be worth the wait, right?

My drink was a weak, watery, pathetic excuse for coffee. I chucked it into the trash without even finishing half of it. 4 bucks and almost 20 mins wasted on this garbage.

In conclusion, don't bother, just brew some yourself. You'll get it faster and it'll taste better. Unless you're good friends with one of the staff. They'll apparently ignore other customers just for you.

Wonderful drinks but service takes a bit of time if busy and they don't always fill the cups.
