It was amazing property The View was absolutely breathtaking the only thing inconvenience was that upon arriving one of the towels appear to have the mega Bonnet from the previous guests but other than that it was amazing will definitely be back!

We stayed there a week ago on the 12th floor. It's a beautiful hotel and every staff member we came across was super friendly and spoke to us each time. We loved the breakfast at the hotel in the dining room; and we even had dinner there one night. Plus the views are amazing from every side---just gorgeous!! We parked our car and rode the trolley to downtown! We are planning to stay there again next year!!!
We stay here every fall. The service and the condition of the rooms specifically the bathrooms is getting worse every year. The bathroom ceiling was repaired recently from a water leak that was evidently still there, because our carpet in front of the door was soaked for a day after a rain. We had a sweet on the top floor. The hotel in general was not clean, stuff would sit around all day. The staff in the bar had a strong eastern European accent. They were generally rude. The restaurant staff spoke Spanish and were ok. The breakfast buffet was average as usual. The pool area was dirty and freezing they had the windows open and it was 50 degrees outside. Multiple families complained to the front desk and no one came for hours. I'm ok with immigration, but would like to be able to communicate with the staff. If we return next year it will only be because our conference is there again. Hopefully it will be moved elsewhere.
For most part the staff was friendly but they triple charged my debit card after I had already paid in full in cash they didn't give a notice to us that this had happened right aways the manager on shift at the time said she was hoping to have my money back on my card before I noticed then informs me that she's new to the role she's covering that she's only been a manager for a month with no training behind the front desk and didn't know how to handle the issue at hand needless to say they withdrew 479 bucks off my card +the 207.16 that I paid in cash I've called several times and haven't been able to speak to the manager on duty as of this morning and still nothing has been done about my money nor has anyone called back to get it taken care of and there's still a pinding charge of 179 on my card threw them they gave a complement dinner for my party of 5 and I had to pay 50 bucks to cover my children cause they refused to cover all 5 of us at the time because it handn't been handled properly but that's just one issue moving on to the next Nancy Jones "morning manager " is in need of more training to hear her say she's had none but yet has been a manager for just a month use to be a bar tender and Daniel Lakin "night manager" needs to be removed of his position asap very rude and not hospitable at all basically my weekend was spent trying to figure out how this was going to be handled and told maybe next time I shouldn't use a card the I don't want money being taken off so my question is how am I to make renovations without a card and how can this be handled and taken care of so that I might think about coming back because Mistakes are made every day but should have been handled differently and more professionally then the way they are being handled so untill this issue is taken care of I shell not return and will never recommend them to anyone also noticed that there aren't any response to the negative reviews on here or any where for that matter from the hotel or owner in any agreement on improvement or handling things a lil better so I will personally keep posting this review every chance I get Hope this was helpful to whomsoever was thinking about staying here
This hotel is in a great location that gives you easy access to the town and to the national park near by. Hospitality was great, rooms were clean and for the little time I spent at the hotel, I definitely would make it back. A little more costly than some of the others, but the nice balcony the room had, and the rooms/beds being more comfortable was worth it.
We really enjoyed our stay, the views are Amazing, the pool was awesome and the location was nice because we were tucked away but yet close to everything. The staff was great!! The only complaint I have is that we ordered room service and my husband's order was completely messed up. He ordered the turkey sliders with no tomato and no mayo, he got 3 sliders and all of them had mayo and tomato and one of them had no meat. We payed $50 dollars for a pizza and sliders which we thought was way over priced but other than that everything was great
Great hotel to stay at. The mountain views from the room are amazing. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Promptly addressed minor bathroom issue. Indoor pool is awesome has a slide great for kids and adults. The pool is open late. Food was also available late and was delicious. Morning breakfast buffet was good, we enjoyed the made to order omelets. The Gatlinburg trolley runs to the hotel so it is easy to get around town. Hotel room bathroom/plumbing especially needs some updates. The hotel is undergoing renovations by closing certain floors down this is a smart move as it doesn't disrupt guests. Look forward to seeing what the renovations bring.
Very bad experience Pros: Pool was nice Cons: Staff made me feel uncomfortable and were very unfriendly, my room had mildew in the bathroom, there was food left under the bed when i arrived and the smell was awful clearly don't clean up very well, heard kids screaming and running around all night slamming doors and what not. heard some kids slamming on the piano in the lobby for about an hour at midnight and no one did anything, looked like someone puked in the bathroom judging by the stains on the floor and wall by the toiled.
OVERALL I WOULD STAY CLEAR IF YOU WANT YOUR FAMILY TO HAVE A NICE VACATION
The Park Vista in Gatlinburg, TN was an amazing place to spend the even ok ng. It's so close to shops aND a short drive to Pigeon Forge. Upon check-in, every person staying in our room received a cookie. The scenery is beautiful from a semi-private patio that every room has in them.
I would like to thank all the staff at the Park Vista for being friendly and helpful finding my 2 year old daughters tablet that was accidentally left behind. Having it shipped back in the mail was no issue at all. My daughter is so happy to have her tablet back!... Our family stay at the hotel was also very pleasant and we will be back again.
Very clean obviously sanitized hotel and scenery absolutely beautiful. Service was excellent and everybody was real polite. It is quite a ways off the strip though it's at the top of a hill.
My husband and I had a short stay for an anniversary trip. Loved the cookies. The Vista Grill was fantastic. Great views and just left the car parked & rode the trolley around. It is a little pricey at times depending on what you buy. The pool was ok.
We had a nice dinner and dance at the Park Vista. The catered food was wonderful and staff was extremely helpful. The drinks at the bar were a little expensive.
This is a great place to stay and enjoy the mountains. Keep in touch with the website and all the events happening at the Park Vista. I play the Harp for the Thanksgiving Banquet every year and Bagpipes for other events throughout the year. Nestled in the middle but up above the great city of Gatlinburg, Park Vista is the crown jewel of the Smokies.
We have stayed here numerous times. Great rooms, great views, good atmosphere. The restaurant could be upgraded, but the service was very good. On this occasion, I was very disappointed in the exercise facility. The room reeked with the heavy chemical smell from the swimming area. We have stayed at other Hilton properties and never experienced the heavy chemicals as we did here. In times past, I've also experienced other people using the exercise facility but not the first time was anyone using the room during our 4 nights stay.
Nice hotel and nice location, but not worth the per night price. The rooms are dated, the mattresses are old and have a pillowtop cover to give the illusion of better quality but they offer zero support, the pillows are horrible, the room service is not available 24 hours, there is no free breakfast (it is actually quite expensive, considering the per night price), the front desk is terribly understaffed (why have just 1 person at a time???) The bathrooms are very small and very basic, the furniture is falling apart... I understand they are remodeling, but in the mean time, not worth more than $90-$100 per night. They charge double that! The housekeeping is also extremely sub par. Made beds and left 1 new soap and that was all. I have stayed in $60 per night hotels with better service and complimentary breakfast buffets. Won't stay again. The free cookies are very limited to one per guest.
I have visited here before and this time has been a very nice visit. It was clean and the staff very friendly. My only complaint is that the closer I got to the window in my room the less the Wi-Fi signal I got. So much so that when I would just be laying on the bed closest to the window my device could not hold a connection.
Love the spacious rooms, the restaurant's wings are great, and the staff is wonderful! Snack vending machines or a more wholesome variety in their store is needed (only had chips, candy, and some crackers/nuts) and the elevators are slow.
Wow! What an exceptional hotel. The staff was great. The lobby was perfect for groups to gather and the food was good. The bar was fun and priced right for a hotel.
Very nice hotel! I would recommend it to anyone! The staff were extremely nice, the location was amazing & the view of the city from the rooms, OMG! We will most definitely be back again soon.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The only problem was they needed more luggage carts! The rooms could use to be updated but is very clean and very comfortable beds!
What a great get away! The hotel has beautiful decor. The atmosphere is extremely inviting. I love the live piano music! Everything was absolutely lovely, from the check-in process, the restaurant staff, after hours service, banquet facility, exercise room, game room, indoor water park, and the beautiful grounds. The sleeping accomodations were superb as only Hilton can provide. We will definitely be back! Everything was amazing!!!
Staff is awesone as are the views. Request a city view on an upper floor. It has 15 floors. My reason for a 3 star rating is due to the sound proofing. I could clearing hear conversations in ajoing room and there was a party in the room above me that didnt end till midnight. I called the desk twice to ask if they could do something and it didnt help. It is dog friendly so that is nice. But you might hear dogs barking. I really wish my experience was better because this is a nice facility.
Excellent hotel on top of a mountain away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, and hotel staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Take this how you want it. I gave this two stars because the pool area was nice except the arcade was out of service for three days. The token machine did not have tokens.. There is a nice water slide. No lifeguard and alot of unsupervised children running around and one was doing back flips off the end of the slide. The beds are nice but the rooms are INFESTED WITH FLEAS. I still have bites that are healing on my legs two weeks later. I know this is a pet friendly hotel. I admit that's probably my fault. I will not stay here again.
Amazing location and views! Very nice pool area for families. Hotel is sort of old but was updated. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would highly recommend!
Lots of pros and cons here: - slowest elevators I've ever seen - worst sleep I've gotten the in a hotel room (over multiple stays) mostly due to absurdly loud ac that runs constantly but mostly just dries the air out and poorly regulates the temperature - 45 minute wait for check in + amazing pool with water slide + Free WiFi + some rooms have great views, some not so much I'd never choose to stay here (or in Gatlinburg) but attend conferences here annually, and this is definitely no where near the worst place that these conferences are held.
We loved this place so much we came back 2 weeks later. Here's what you'll love: Friendly desk service to greet you. Remodeled rooms! A huge open area with adequate seating and beautiful furniture. Nice outdoor area for viewing the amazing landscape. An indoor pool area with two slides and a hot tub. This location has the best view in Gatlinburg. You'll have to go up one of the ski lifts to get an equal view. What to watch out for: Bears, particularly momma bears and cubs. Don't leave food in your car.
Terrible management!!! Don't be surprise if you don't get the room that you reserve. I reserve one room with 2 king bed and I got one king bed with a pull up sofa. I went back to lobby and explained what happened they told me They didn't have room available and price will be lover!! Guess what ??price wasn't lover and when I check out they told me the room was I was staying was more expensive and they keep the same price!!!! If you don't give me the room that I need you can't tell me you gave me the better room for same price. I don't care about your king suites if it is not working for me!!
Great hotel, clean, excellent pool. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is due to my key card having to be reset 4 out of the 5 times we needed it.
Older property but everything kept up well. Staff were friendly and attentive to detail. Food in restaurants was good, pools were outstanding and a nice workout facility. Would've given 5 stars but too many pets, i love my dogs, but i pay to board them when I travel because I know not everyone else would like my dogs or stay in a hotel room where someone else may have had their dogs the night before. Won't stay here again because of their liberal pet policy.
There was a lot of dogs at the hotel. The view was nice. On the balcony there was so much water from the air conditioner. There is no chairs on the balcony and if there was you wouldn't be able to sit down and see the view. The room was clean but the phone was dusty. There was not enough parking spots for everyone at night. (Dont try to stay out too late, you may have to make a parking spot. )
Appreciate them being dog friendly and being away from the craziness of downtown Gatlinburg, but way too many classless maskless people stay here. I had one hick tell me to wait for another elevator because he won t wear a mask. I know it s hard for hotels to enforce, but please do a better job enforcing the health laws during the pandemic.
Hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Friendly and helpful staff with a free freshly baked cookie at check in. There is a heated indoor swimming pool and a hot tub, as well as a restaurant and bar. Several places outside to sit and enjoy the weather. Computer access in the lobby and outdoor balconies in the rooms that give an excellent view of the surrounding area. The room itself was also very nice with everything you could need in a hotel room. Comfortable bed, computer desk, large screen TV, security safe and plenty of storage room.
Very beautiful mountain view and it's the tallest hotel in the area. Pool is good for kids to play. Restaurant also has nice food if you don't want to wait to ride trolley to downtown.
We had a presidential suite, it's not really that fancy it's pretty much just two rooms together but the view was definitely worth the money and it feels so nice being on the top floor (it's more private). If you have family to bring over renting a suite is a good idea because there is a lot of room and it has two balconies, TVs, and even bathrooms. In terms of the food it's overall ok, dinner was kind of crappy and overpriced, I'm pretty sure some of the food/recipes were not even homemade so it wasn't worth the money and room service is pointless if you have to go out of your way to leave your room just to pay when you could do that a day later or on check out day. Breakfast is pretty satisfying, because we have the bed and breakfast coupons although they shouldn't even call it bed and breakfast when you can't use it for room service, other than that I enjoyed taking advantaged of the coupons and the buffet I literally go there with my pjs on, eat there and go back to sleep. Pool is pretty fun despite having my skin become super irritated by the strong chlorine haha. Service has been nice to us for the most part. Overall I had a good time in this hotel and had no regrets ordering the suite because it was nice and private the view really makes up for it.
The Park Vista is a beautiful hotel. The room was fantastic, gorgeous view. The staff were all very polite and understand to a small issue we ran into. The indoor pool area was gorgeous! All in all, it was a great stay. My only complaint was the evening bar/food staff. My complaint is not directed towards them, it is towards the management. They were clearly understaffed and struggling to deal with the evening rush. Although, they did handle it better than I would have. I would recommend this hotel to friends!
Location location location. It's a large busy hotel with the expected drawbacks, crowded reception and slow elevators. Despite this I love this hotel, the views are stunning.
Great hotel with great views. Room was large and the beds comfortable. Kids loved the pool area. Food from the restaurant was really good and the cookies at check in were really good.
Drove here from Pittsburgh. This is a beautiful place to stay. Gorgeous views. Clean comfortable room (we had a double king). Very helpful courteous staff - front desk to housekeeping to restaurants. Super indoor pool. Family friendly away from the hub-nun below (trolley will take you down if you like, so you don't need to park). Close to Dollywood and the National Park (what a natural wonder). Only wish they had a table and chairs instead of a desk and one chair since you cannot sit on the balcony. We hope to be back soon to enjoy the real Southern Hospitality.
Entrance very steep incline, room clean and acceptable. Lobby area is routinely a disaster with trash and clutter in the evenings and early mornings. Seems at least 1 elevator is always down making for extended wait times. Views are pleasant. Pool is well kept and nice. I'll return, hopefully they hire staff to maintain the common area and get all elevators working.
What a wonderful lobby! Walked in to check-in the evening of our stay and we were surrounded by a magnificently open lobby with love piano, bar service, and a quick check-in with the staff. Beds were very comfortable and tidy, room was spacious with a concrete balcony, and there was breakfast if we wanted it. The hotel sits very high on a hill overlooking the mountains and is truly breathtaking.
Thank you to all the staff members (Jeremy and the two sweet ladies sorry i forgot your names) thank you for helping me and going beyond your duties. For making sure I have everything I need while the paramedics do their job. To the 2 paramedics and police officer, thank you thank you thank you! Today will never be forgotten.
This is one of the most highest quality hotels that me and my husband visited in a very long time. I will be there for every vacation when I visit Gatlinburg.
