Nice property. Up the hill from the strip, a neat getaway in itself. The Park Vista has enough on property that you wouldn't have to leave. But, when you do venture to the Gatlinburg hustle and bustle the trolley picks up right at the front door. This is invaluable because the road up to the hotel is steep and would be a fair walk. The all day trolley passes are available at the front desk and are inexpensive. Our two King bed room was plenty spacious and comfortable. Everything we've come to expect from Hilton. The breakfast was exceptional, and service good. Definitely recommend, and would stay here again

Here's the deal, The view and the pool are are the best around for family's. It's a Hilton so you already know the pillows are going to be perfect. I didn't try the menu at the restaurant but I drink black coffee, no cream or sugar and you can tell it was fresh and they clean the coffee makers well. So that attention to detail is appreciated.

Nice, clean rooms with the best views in town, but the atrium design makes for an echo chamber of unattended children and slamming doors. At $12 for a glass of bourbon, I'm more inclined to head into town or sip a bottle from my own stash on my balcony. Piano player in the lobby was quite pleasant.

This hotel is very shady and misleading with rates. I reserved the room for a conference I was attending at the hotel from October 5th - October 8th 2017. When I reserved the room I was told I would receive the conference rate. When I arrived at the hotel for check in on the evening of October 4th I was given a much higher rate. I informed the front desk of the rate I was quoted. The front desk attendant told me it would not be a problem to get the rate, all I had to do was have someone from the conference come to the front desk the next day and add my name to the conference list and I would get the conference rate. So, I checked in...only to find out the next day that the hotel was not going to honor the conference rate. The reason was stated "because it was booked after a certain date". I informed the hotel I was given the conference rate when I reserved the room on September 9th. I then called the Hilton Double Tree customer service number only to be told... because I had checked in it was out of their hands and up to the hotel to honor the rate. Had I know on check in I was not going to be given the conference rate I was quoted when I reserved the room I would not have checked in until the matter was corrected. Again, the hotel was very shady and misleading with the rates.

More like a jail. Very dark and the toilet did not work properly, the toilet paper holder fell off the wall and there was a huge crack in the sink. Too boot maid service never service our room so we had to keep calling the front desk.

On May 24th, we had our wedding reception at this hotel. Everything was set up perfectly! Angela and Christine did an awesome job, and the food, oh my gosh, absolutely top of line!! The prime rib was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for guest and for events. Thank you so much for taking so much out of my hands for a destination wedding, could not ask for anything better!!

Nice property, excellent views. Watch for bears in the parking lot at night.
The trolley to town is nice, but expect a long wait for one to arrive.
Also, Bring your own Dial Up Modem, it will be faster than the wifi at the hotel.

I change my rating, so my better half is at an all day conference and the hotel won't allow us a late check out so I can work in the room most of the day. This is ludicrous, Marriott allows check outs as late as 4pm.
I have to be out of this room by 10am. Freaking Stupid, I will never stay here or at another Hilton property again. And the Wifi still SUCKS.

We were in a room on the 11th floor. Rooms were nice. Wifi signal was bad. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfasts were Great! Pool was nice and the restaurant served good meals on sight. People were real nice and helpful.

and its waist your time from hotel to the town by trolley, every 30 mins. avoid this hotel, you can find Hampton inn on much better location.
first time see a double tree hotel is cheaper than a Hampton inn at same location. the price shows the quality. you better avoid this hotel.

A very nice hotel that needs lightening up in the rooms. The staff and food service people
Get a 12 out of ten. We were at a conference and food was great. The view was fantastic. Would come back in a heartbeat. Conference facilities were very good and room temperatures were about 72 degrees. Light sweater was adequate. Some conference rooms in other hotels are usually so cold you could meat in there.

I loved staying at park vista. My family and I had the best time. Staff were very nice. The beds were so comfy. The best part for my kids was the pool. My favorite part was the view. I would definitely come back.

The room and pool were nice and the hotel staff was very helpful and professional. The restaurant however was not. We never received as much as a straw from the staff and had to wait 15 minutes for the manager just to pay as we were never given a ticket.

We stayed 3 nights Loved the room and the View of the city was awesome especially at night!
The Hotel was very Clean as well as the room. And I was glad to see how pet friendly the hotel was next time we may bring ours.
Thank You for a great Stay.

Very dated. Needs to be renovated. Popcorn ceilings AND walls. Carpet is very old. Bathroom is tiny. Views are good, bar and restaurant were very good. The pool is spectacular, and the only reason I gave it 3 stars.

The hotel is nice, however, not telling you that they put a $50 hold on your card is not okay, we figured it out and had to ask about it and were told it should go back on our card two days after check out??

I called Park Vista to make a reservation, and I asked if they allowed pet birds. They told me that they only allow dogs and cats! How Stupid are these people who run this hotel? Dogs shed, and so does cats, but what mess can a bird make in a cage? This is typical of educated nitwits in our society! So I booked another hotel where common sense prevails!!!

AMAZING HOTEL! the staff was WONDERFUL (Daniel was so sweet, helpful and VERY knowledgeable) our room was very roomy and the beds had white sheets, white pillow case and white comforters and they were all BRIGHT WHITE and very comfy. My kids loved the pool/slides. They welcomed our 80 pound American Bully with no problem. They are a very pet friendly hotel but you cant tell or smell it when you walk in the hotel or your room. Our room smelled GREAT when we checked in, it was clean smelling and looking! The views are absolutely breath taking no matter what floor your on. If your going to hang out in Gatlinburg, take the trollie its worth the 50cents per person. Cant say enough about this hotel. Waking up here definitely started off our vacation mornings right. Thank you Park Vista for helping making our trip fun, relaxing and memorable.

Nice hotel fantastic views. The hotel has been updated but still shows its age in some areas. Courteous staff and overall a pleasant experience. Biggest gripe is getting to and from the hotel. There is no safe walking path and the hill is too difficult and narrow for anyone to walk w daytime traffic. Parking is ample at the hotel lot but in a town where you can't park anywhere service on and off "the hill" is limited to trolleys from the city. If I had my way I would request a walking path for those energetic of us or at least a golf cart on call to get up and down the hill when the trolley isn't around. Having said that many people just wait for the trolley to do its thing.

We love the area. The hotel is at the edge of town on mountain, so not in the thick of crowds. The mountain view rooms are our favorites. Fabulous to be in bed and see the Smokies towering over you or the famous mist/"smoke" hovering just outside. The special indoor swimming area is a favorite of our kids and the trolley coming to the door of the hotel means you don't have to worry about finding parking or paying fees in town. We've stayed at other hotels in town, but only because this wasn't available! It's always our first choice.

Everyone was so so nice and the room was amazing and clean, the beds were so amazing, I slept so so good, loved it so much. The piano man was an awesome thing to walk in the hotel to from getting off the trolly. I love the balcony, and the mini fridge is huge. Loved this place and needed the mini vacay so much. Thank you guys so much!

We have stayed at the Park Vista many times. The quality of service at the front desk during this stay (July 30 - August 1) was bad. When we checked in, the staff accused us of attempting to get more "check-in" cookies than we were entitled to. When we assured the person at the desk that we had not already received any cookies, he reiterated that maybe we had and said that people lie to him about the cookies all of the time. The next day, we needed to get trolley tickets. When I approached the desk, one staff member was carrying on a personal conversation with someone delivering Ripley's brochures and the other staff member looked dismissively at me as he checked-in another guest. When the first staff member concluded her 10-minute personal conversation, she walked away, came back and then asked me if I needed something. No concern whatsoever that they both had left me standing there for 10-15 minutes waiting to ask my question. Bottom line- our family talked about finding another place to stay the next time we visit Gatlinburg. The only reason I give two stars is because the house keeping staff was polite and the room appeared clean.

The hotel is prefect for families, we are a family of 4, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast buffet is great. The view is unbelievable, great distance from downtown, trolley is great, no worries for parking in Gatlinburg. .great getaway 3 nights 4 days. Highly recommended hotel instead of cabin, unless your a large group.

Room is starting to look a bit old. The beds are not very comfortable and the pillows sink down to nothing when laying on them. Staff is very friendly and the views from the balconies beautiful.

Room is nice, but the WiFi is terrible. We were on the 12th floor and couldn t get it to connect at all. Called the front desk for help and they said they were sending someone up to come check it. No one ever came. Also, tried to order room service and couldn t get anyone to answer the phone.

Nice view and off the beaten (touristy) path. Need to take the shuttle to the tourist spots so if that's what you like this might not be for you. If you've come for the park and relaxing this might be more your speed.

One of my absolute favorite hotels! It is beautiful inside! The breakfast is great, the rooms are very cozy, and the views of the mountains are breathtaking! there isn't a bad view from any room! It is well worth every penny spent.

Beautiful mountain views, comfortable bed, kind & helpful staff, large pool area (with slides) & more. This hotel is located away from the hustle & bustle of the downtown area. No need to take your car into town though as trolleys are available. We did have a small issue regarding a food order but the staff & manager went above & beyond to make it right. If we visit this area again, we will stay at the Park Vista Doubletree.

This is a very nice hotel. While it is older, it has aged well. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is a little on the small side, but works well. The pool is very nice with two slide and a hot tub. My only real complaint is service. The maid was still in the room when we checked in at 3pm. The next day (first full day) we received no maid service. At 1pm on the second day, still no maid service. I asked at the front desk and, with no apology, they said they would radio someone right away. I just shouldn't have to ask for it in this level of hotel.

Nice views, clean rooms, friendly staff, heated pool with slide, family friendly, and pet friendly. Everything we needed. 8-10 minute drive to Ober. 4-5 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg. The city shuttle makes a stop there but we didn't use it.

Warning to COVID conscious travelers. We needed a place to stay overnight with a dog and landed here. Came in late and left early so was not expecting to see many other folks. To our surprise the parking lot was overflowing with cars...mostly police and government vehicles. Turns out there was a TN state law enforcement seminar at this hotel. I guess if you are a police officer you are immune to COVID because no one wore a mask inside or practiced social distancing. Common areas were crowded and people were packing into elevators maskless. I admire those who serve but it was sad to see an entire police community completely disregard the health and safety of others. In defense of the hotel, there were signs posted everywhere to wear masks and distance but clearly ignored by mostly everyone. Maybe they could alert local authorities?...oh wait.
