The hotel is located near downtown Gatlinburg, but not close enough to have all the hustle and bustle. It's right next to the mountains - gorgeous view! The lobby has wood rocking chairs, and there is a porch with a firepit. My only complaint was the food was a little bland, and they didn't offer many options if you have Celiac disease like I do. Overall, it was a good experience!

Very nice staff, helpful, and always warm. Clean room and amazing cookies. But, if you are going for business as I did, PV should improve the business center to include an all in one printer, scanner, and fax machine. However, the views are amazing, my picture was from my room, and I will definitely be returning with my family.

My wife and I were planning to stay here for our first night of our honeymoon. We originally had 2 nights booked, and changed it to 1 on their website due to changes in our wedding arrangements out of our control the night before. Their system did not keep the change, and their representative who made the original booking did not correctly record my information so we never recieved any contact from them when we did not arrive on the first night which we cancelled. They considered us a no call no show and cancelled our other night. We were so excited to spend a night in one of the junior suites FOR OUR HONEYMOON, but after an 8 hour drive we were greeted by an unsympathetic, interrupting, pushy "manager" John who had no interest in assisting us with our situation. He repeatedly pushed us to the side to talk to other people and answer phones. All he cared about was squeezing every last penny he could out of us. $300 in revenue was far more important to John and Amora than providing a good experience for their distraught tired clients. The disappointing thing is we wanted so badly to enjoy this place, but they chose greed. They operated at full capacity (less our one room) both nights of our stay, so to say they needed the booking was far from accurate. They will respond and say "it was Mr. Haas's fault for not following through and making sure the cancellation processed", that "they did everything in their power to assist", and "they had to turn down other clients because they reserved the room for us" but it was all BS. The TLDR of this is because of a severe lack of customer service, my new wife and I were screwed out of one nights charge and rejected for the second we had reserved. No matter what we said or how we tried to reason with him he just did not care. We are lucky we even found a room on memorial day weekend. We are sad we will never get to enjoy this hotel but they gave us the worst experience we have ever had anywhere and thats saying a lot because we are travelers.

I enjoyed staying here. The hill up drive can be a little jarring, but the view is worth it. I would recommend that you take the trolley down to Gatlinburg and leave you car at the hotel. The trolley costs $0.50 per ride and will take you all over Gatlinburg. You should also check out the pool.

We was not very happy with our stay. Booked from 7/8-7/12/2017 room 1416. For the price of the rooms there was no bang for your buck at all. Long walk to your car...food was not that good and fryer was down or they was out of what you order. Breakfast was good but not much to go wrong with. Could not enjoy pool lots of kids...cheerleader was in most of the hotel. Could not enjoy seating in lobby or bar. Was not what we thought it would be for a Hilton Hotel. My boyfriend booked this room and believe me when I say he knows his hotels and he was not happy. Will not be back!

Room, view, and location were absolutely fantastic. We made the reservation months ago, and were told check-in was at 4:00 p.m. We arrived at 4:30, waited in line for 20 minutes, and then were told our room wasn't ready and were given very vague answers when we asked when it would be ready. "Go on to town and get ya' something to eat and then check back." is what we got. Once it was finally ready, we asked for some sort of compensation for the delay. "No." was the response we received. Other than that, fantastic experience.

Upon checking in, I asked the tall young gentleman if we had a view because that is what we paid for and he assured me we did. We were in room 110 and the view was of the top of the pool and the trees that grew around the building. Strike one.
Then, we go to shower, there are tiny black hairs in the towels. Strike two.
In the sink drain there was gum stuck in it with hair attached.
On check out, I got a unexpected bill. When I booked the room, called to let them know we have a dog, they told us there was a $35 fee. When we checked in, the tall young gentleman told us it was a $35 fee. When I checked out we got charged $35 a night.
When checking out, I expressed this this the lady upfront (9/28/202 at 9:30am) and she did not apologies or say anything.

Convenient location away from the touristy downtown. There is trolley service available for $2 per person for the day if you don't want to drive to downtown. Beautiful views and our kids loved the slides at the indoor pool.

Interesting detail about this hotel. You get a good view, no matter the side! The rooms are spacious, and the lobby is fresh and updated. The bathrooms were small, and we found the shower to be slightly dirty.

Pool was amazing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Amazing Views of Gatlinburg, anakeesta and the Smokies. Efficient elevators. Comfy beds. Trolley service. Only drawback was lack of continental breakfast and cavernous atrium lacked a theme. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

PS. Look out for bears in the trees near the parking lot

Absolutely worthy every penny for the king size suite that we got on the 15th floor. Love the center and the glass elevator. Hilton consistently setting the bar high every stay no matter if at Jekyll Island, GA or Hemet, CA!

Worst breakfast ever. We purchased the breakfast with each night. So we were stuck eating. They don't have anything fresh. Powered or liquid eggs. Gross, Frozen biscuits gross, store bought tiny blueberry muffins Ns they charge 6.00
I know covid has changed things but the food should not have changed like this at all. I would not eat here again... dont waste your money on the food....

I loved this place! From the moment we were greated by Joan (she's fabulous!) at the front desk to the point we checked out it was EXCELLENT! We were upgraded to a room on the 14th floor with a gorgeous view of the city and mountains. We loved hanging out in the outside lounge by the fire and enjoyed a great burger at the grill. The icing on the cake was the pool! It was very busy in the evening but we went early in the morning and spent an hour going down the waterslide! Just a fabulous experience, book now!

Very nice hotel and very busy. Breakfast is not included but available in the restaurant on the Lobby level. They do seem to nickel and dime you as they charge you $2 for coffee even after paying for breakfast. Room service is available but a 20% gratuity is added to your bill along with a delivery fee.

Hotel is nice and away from the bustle of town. Free cookies on check-in, and the restaurant a la carte is not a bad value. Only downside was coming back from hiking at about 3, and the room wasn't cleaned yet, so never got cleaned.

Frank and I had so much fun in Gatlinburg! What a romantic vacation-time! Really comfy beds and pillows! Everything was perfect! The only complaint is that our room was right above the garbage dumpsters and so that woke us up early every morning. LOL.

Excellent!

Excellent!
Clen room, beds and bathroom. Great pool. Perfect views. And they welcome you w/warms cookies.

Great views, excellent hospitality and awesome pet policy! We were able to enjoy our stay with our son and fur baby! We enjoyed the nice hotel staff that was eager to help in any way possible! We will definitely be back when we visit Gatlinburg again!

never again! Stayed 1 night there was no extra toilet paper rolls in the room at all. Besides the one that was obviously not even full. Then when we took the kids to swim there were no towels. So my pregnant self had to walk back up the stairs to to front desk to request more towels. Said he would send someone down to bring more. Literally 30 mine later still no towels. Kids were shivering. Not only that they mention a 25 dollar hold they put on your account when you first check in. But once I checked my account. It was actually $40. I waited to get the money reimbursed from being hold. Once I check again. They have taken it and charged it!!. So I call to speak with someone at the front desk and the lady is saying something about a room service order of food being sent to my room. A mix up like that has me so frustrated. I would a little better about it if the lady would act like she was actually concerned!! And willing to fix the issue. Definitely won't be back. As many good reviews as I see, I'm really disappointed that my experience wasn't so pleasant

The room was very nice, it had a beautiful view; however, the Wi-Fi was horrible. My family could hardly connect to it, and when we could, it would hardly work. They gave us these delicious free cookies upon arrival, though, and the pool and gym was very nice. Overall, a great hotel, my only complaint is about the Wi-Fi.

Always great views! However im very much all for pet friendly hotels, but I do not appreciate the fact we had fleas in our room and now worry that I brought them home to my family and pets! Just a thought people with pets stay on certain floors and people without do not get same rooms. And after the pets leave ,room is treated for fleas no matter what!

This hotel is very much in a dreamlike setting, with great staff, quality rooms and an indoor multilayered pool. The drive up to it is nothing short of scenic; tight, winding mountain roads lead to a huge, circular building atop the mountain. Once inside you are able to look straight through the center of the entire building, more than two hundred feet higher than you already are. This evoked a feeling of awe from my already shocked mind, and the view from my hotel room was stellar! Even though it was NOT facing the Gatlinburg tourist area, I loved waking up to a view of nature and its settings. This hotel has a great variety of options including a cafe that s open at night, a separate breakfast buffet with made-to-order eggs, the aforementioned indoor pool, as well as a huge game room and a kids area that I saw!

However, a prevalent problem at the pool area was that both water slides (yes, there are two...) offered much to be desired. The first one I rode, winding around a tree, was so slow that I had to physically push myself around it to gain momentum. There were several little kids that OFTEN broke the rules on this while I was around, going in right after one another to form a chain of rule-breaking children. And the second was built inside an interesting manmade rock structure, which housed a quick S-curve to the side leading to a drop into the pool nearby. However, this slide was very painful. The turns it took threw me against the tube walls, and I even exited it backwards once! Now these probably sound like stupid complaints, hence only one star being docked, but they were the things that didn t make my stay perfect.

Overall this hotel is great for everyone, but please do yourself a favor and stay away from the two water slides. Just visit Splash Country at Dollywood if you want larger and better slides which I haven t been to yet.

The pool was the hotel's saving grace. The kids loved it. But the rest of the hotel left alot to be desired. The elevators didn't work, the front desk staff seemed stressed and unfriendly all the time and there was a church conference letting teens run wild with no supervision and the staff didn't seem to care the rest of their patrons were suffering the consequences.

The hotel lives up to its name. The views are spectacular. The pool has water slides and an actual hot tub. One of the pools is zero entry. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is also connected to town via the trolley system so you don't have to drive into town and deal with traffic and parking. No free breakfast, but you can't have everything. Love this hotel. It is the only one for us in Gatlinburg TN.

This hotel can be difficult to find, but once you do you have a beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains. The on site restaurant is fairly good. Unfortunately, we were told there were balconies, but they are not really balconies...it is more of a 'step out'. Pets are welcome, but please be aware that the $25 pet fee is Per Day! Per Dog! Kennels charge less. The hotel itself is older, very dark, and our room was less than clean.

Love the concept of the hotel high up on a hill with 360 views of downtown and the Smokies. Had the breakfast buffet. Reasonably priced and served made to order waffles and omelettes. We swam at the pool with our young kids. Waterslides were a hit for the kids and the hot tub with the adults. Rooms were big, and while maybe outdated, they were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The worst experience I have ever had and I have done extensive travel. The picture is of were house keeping broke a glass and only half cleaned it up. We came in from a long day to find that no towels and actually ran out of toilet paper. Never had that happen at even the cheapest hotel.

We stayed here so that we could tour Gaitlinburg. It was very close; had it not been for that large, long, winding hill, we could've and would've walked into town everyday. However, we were able to ride the trolley for free. It isn't free all year long, though. The hotel has the instructions for riding it at the front desk.

The room was not as clean as it should've been, but it wasn't anything major to call the front desk about. It is a pet friendly hotel, so if this is an issue, don't stay here. The smell will be noticeable to anyone not nose blind to it. We smelled it quite often.

The bathroom is super small and this is not an exaggeration. There's no way I was going to try drying off or dressing in there. Luckily, I was with family and dressed in the little area apart from the bathroom.

It was a little unusual not to have a book with the surrounding restaurants in the room to look at. They may have had menus at the front desk, but we didn't ask. We just looked it up on the .

Everyone was friendly in tge restaurant, especially Victor. The prices are a bit steep, but the food is good. I cleaned my plate, though I only ordered vegetables.

I think we'd stay here again.

Called after making reservations. Asked (because I like coffee) if they had Kurig coffee maker in the room. They said yes. Didn't have it after we got there. Room was worn looking and dusty which makes you wonder how clean other things are. One microwave per floor with a stack of dirty dishes around it . Pepsi machine with $3 pepsi. Dog walk area large enough for a minature Yorkie (don't wear good shoes!).
Not going back to this place even if they do give me another cookie!

Everything was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to accommodate any requests. The room was immaculate and the complimentary cookies were super yummy! My nephew had a blast swimming in the indoor pool (waterslides)! Our balcony had a nice view!

It's a tad pricey but you'll enjoy it! You take a narrow curved elevated road to get to it (not scary, lol), once you get there, the view is amazing. If you want to just relax, they offer a sitting space by the fire, a bar, made to order pizza and the inside pool is perfect! Has a little water slide that kids will enjoy and water areas that are even toddler friendly. Their beds are comfortable, it's clean! The only thing I wish they had is chairs to sit by the balcony. Loved that area Go to Crockett's Best Breakfast Camp btw....breakfast was Amazeball!!!!

Pet friendly with fee of course, however great and accommodating staff. We accidentally booked for the wrong night and we called on our road trip down, explained our situation as we could have sworn we selected the right dates and didnt really think they would help us and we would have to repay for the stay and be out double bc our mistake. They had us talk to Dave and he changed the date on our stay and used the no show fee towards the room price difference so all we needed to do was pay the pet fee when we arrived. We got in and Katlin knew exactly who we were and our situation even though she claimed to have just started her shift an hr prior (we had called 5hrs before we arrived) We got to our room watched some tv. Went to bed and had the best night sleep I think we have ever had. I am looking into buying these pillows!!!! Omgosh they are heavenly! STAFF 5STAR ROOM 5STAR GROUNDS 5STAR will definitely be looking at doubletree before anywhere else in the future!

We have stayed here 4 times in 42 years. We spent our honeymoon here 42 years ago March 4. The hotel was fairly new and very nice. We were here a couple years ago and you were under renovation. I could see new paint and new carpet this visit, but the furniture was shabby and scared. The beds were very comfortable, but the pillows not good. I woke up with neck and head pain due to pillows. The food in the resturaunt was very good, but buffet price too expensive. Your staff has been very nice and we possibly will return. We did have an issue with our door closing and also would be nice to have heat in bathroom. Thanks for a pleasant anniversary trip.

The hotel is nice with clean rooms. We got off on a rough start when they said check in was at 4, and a lot of people showed up at 4pm to check in yet no rooms were ready. Very frustrating. Some rooms weren't even ready until after 6pm. That resulted in many disgruntled guests and the customer service to go with that was atrocious. The lady at the desk treated us as though it was our fault we showed up on time and they werent ready and she was super rude to everyone. Rough start, but once we got into our rooms it got better. The wifi is not free, which is ridiculous for it being 2016. Some rooms do not have a good view, but that happens and is understandable. But other than that the hotel is nice. The breakfast is good food. The showers have hot water. There always seems to be an open elevator.

We always come back to the Park Vista for our anniversary a few days before Christmas. It's a magical place to spend both the holiday and our special celebration. We love the ambience, the indoor pool and slide, the breakfast buffet (not included), and the overall experience.

I called the hotel on 12/28/2018, and booked a block of 10 rooms for March 2019 dates for our travel basketball team. We were given the discounted rate of $325. I have 10 confirmation emails confirming that information. I was instructed that each individual family would have to contact the hotel and place their one individual room in their own name and place their card on file for that one room. Now that the families on our travel team are trying to call in and do that they are being told there is no reservation, additional rooms have been added to our reservation, they won t accept the other family s credit cards, the price for the rooms being told to the parents is well over $500. I have called the reservations line 14 times! Not to mention the number of calls the parents on our team has made as well. I am beyond frustrated! Our travel team has traveled every spring/summer for four years now and have never had this many problems! I have requested to speak with a manger multiple times and the calls are either being disconnected or they say the phones are down and they can t connect my call! At this point, I m not sure what to do other than contact corporate on Monday! I tried being proactive and organize these reservations in plenty of time! Now I m being given the run around. I can not believe the level of unprofessionalism, lack of knowledge, rudeness, and outright lack of concern or consideration! I m appalled! I would like this matter resolved as soon as possible as I have 9 other families depending on me to ensure we have a place to stay when we come to Gatlinburg!
