Rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds. We were a little annoyed that the pool closed at midnight since Gatlinburg shuts down super early and there was nothing to do back at the hotel. I would have liked to sit outside but the balcony has no chairs.

Spent 2 nights here for our 2 year anniversary. We stayed on the 14th floor and this hotel has the BEST view. I loved how adorable Gatlinburg was; the hotel was close to the city but felt like it was it's own little haven because of how high up it is. It is also right on the border of the Smoky Mountain National Park.

The staff was really friendly - they gave us warm chocolate chip cookies when we checked in. In the morning, I went down for a breakfast buffet and it was really nice as well. The price was reasonable and there were many options. There was even a chef present to cook an omelette the way you'd like.

The only thing that I would change about the stay is the room - you could tell that the hotel was a little older but the pros definitely outweighed this little con.

Wonderful stay and incredible views of the Smokies. This location lets you be close enough to the action but enjoy all of the beauty. We stayed in one of the suites which was perfect for our family.

The staff was very friendly and the chef was able to accommodate a dietary restriction. Highly recommend!

Country vibes, dog and human friendly Hilton? That's a rare thing to come by. But absolutely beautiful views. And great breakfast make up for the dates looks and parking trouble. No EV charging even though Tesla lists this as a destination charger hotel.

The good: beautiful view no matter what room you get because of the circular shape. The pool area was great. The gym was typical for any hotel. Rack of weights, couple of treadmills and benches. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Price for the night was decent.
The bad: the inside of the hotel looks like an ugly vault in no way pleasing to the eyes. Very dated and in need of quality remodeling. Some design options really seemed odd to me like the crown molding in the hallways... There was no furniture on the balcony. Never got a greeting from staff, just awkward moments of them trying not to lock eyes with me in the hallway.
Overall: not impressed but one of the only decent options for the area.

Checked in...the front lobby was crazy, No Organization...No Luggage carts, no hand I cap parking available, people were parking where ever they wanted.

When I checked in and got my room key, the amount for the room seem considerably higher than what I remembered. At check out I revisited the room cost, asked if my military discount was included in this cost? They were doing an audit couldn't help me, then someone from behind this office door said that they probably gave me an upgrade! I said I was not told that nor did I ask for it. Still since they were doing an audit I couldn't get a straight answer, I left the one lady at the desk my email and would like an answer about my discount and If I was given an up grade and charged more without my consent want someone to contact me, so far no answer.
Basicly this is at Best a 3 star hotel with 1 star service. And oh had kids next door slamming their door 2 nights in a row let front desk know a couple of times, no response, so we took matters in our own hands.

Nice and clean but for the price no valet parking or bell hop service which made the stay less desirable if you plan on staying more than two or three nights and traveling with a handicap and a pet. Made 4 trips to the car to unload luggage and could not even find a luggage carrier due to the heavy volume of guests nor was there any handicap parking spaces available on our arrival which was around 9 pm due to heavy traffic. The parking was a mess as well. Too close and packed on top of each other. Could not even find a parking space the entire weekend within 500 ft from the hotel entrance. I had asked for a handicap accessible room as well which we did not get either and it made our time in the restroom much longer than it would have in most stays where we have been. My husband must complete 5 hours each year of continuing education credits to keep his license valid with the State of Tennessee. If his license is no good then our business isn't as well. Next year we will travel to the national ground water convention in Las Vegas which is where we normally would go if round trip airline tickets are available. The drive to Memphis or Nashville to the airport is much easier than a 6.5 hour drive to Gatlinburg. Especially when the service the airlines and hotels in Vegas give to an individual who is handicapped exceptional. I did not receive a wheelchair like I had requested when placing my reservations either so my husband can't return to work for you at least 2 or 3 days. He's is exausted and worn out and so am I. We will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

Weekend stay parking wasn't great. Lot has small spaces and not near enough. Was sparsely lit too. Room was a little dated. Everything else was fine. There are a few seating areas outside that are nice.

Everything was very nice BUT the pool. Worst hotel pool I've ever seen. Weird jungle theme with fake leaves, no area for people over 7 years old to swim without kids everywhere. Also it's really unclean and there's black grime on some areas of the pool.

My fiance and I have been wanting to stay here for awhile now and finally got a room (usually booked) and we loved it! Fiance didn't like how far away the bathroom was from the bedroom but with as nice as the room was it was just a minor comment. The reason I didn't give the hotel 5 is because one the wifi didn't seem to work, this is a big deal when I go to any hotel. I look at the small details, the woman at the front desk said that the hhonors was not available here talking about the wifi. There was some attwifi that was supposedly the one to use but could never get it to work. After checking in at midnight you just want things to work, but probably could have made it work with a call to the desk. The second reason I gave it four stars is the the HHONORS app didn't allow me to check-in or use the digital key. If you are a Hilton hotel this should work otherwise let people know that this is unavailable at this location. Again, midnight coming up on your hotel after a 6 hr drive, you just want things to work and not hassle with anything. The staff here are very nice and we were given two warm delicious chocolate chip and macadamia cookie upon our arrival. We will definitely stay here again and hope that Hilton will see this review and fix the Hhonors app and wifi problems! The rooms were clean and looked just like the pictures. Two ac units in each rooms worked great and if your like us and need some background noise, the fan can be turned to the on position.

Wifi is extremely slow, bugs in the food, very slow front desk, pool water is nasty, one elevator was broken, and they called in a painting crew to paint the entrance lobby during several huge conventions. Overall a bad experience with this hotel.

Hospitality at its worst....I understand that everything can t be perfect but the attitude of some of the employees are horrible... We had dinner there in the dining room and trust me I m pro gratuity. However when you charge 18% for a large party who makes sure the server is doing well enough to earn it? We had a lady named Maria who was very rude, every time someone asked her a question she was very condescending when she answered. We had a better experience dining at TGI Friday in Gatlinburg with one server who handled our 25 people party effortlessly. We complained to a manager and of course he listened but did absolutely nothing about the issues that we brought up. We had relatives who stayed at the Marriott down the hill and we visited them and felt more welcome there than the place we were staying. I know where I m staying next time I come back to that area. Park Vista you need to have customer service training with your employees because it was very non existent.

Great place but I'll give it a 2-star and I'll explain.
If you love your Fido, then this is a pet-friendly place.
We are not Fido lovers and had to deal with a barking dog.
So we will not be staying here again.

Nice room, nice pool, nice views, convenient to downtown.

Just so you know, at the time of this review, they are starting up some renovations. So you may have to deal with some things (like on our trip, the water was shut off one of the nights).

We stumbled across this hotel last year when making an unplanned, last minute visit to Gatlinburg. My kids loved the pool, and spent most of one day there. This year, we decided to re-visit.

As others have noted, the location is great - on a hill overlooking Gatlinburg, so you have great views, even on lower floors (hint: not much need to pay a high premium to be on, say the 12th floor, compared to the 4th, for example). The hotel sits above the hubbub of the city, but either a short drive, or trolley ride to all the action.

The swimming pool is open from 6 am to midnight, and looks to be full of kids at almost all times of day, and evening! The big draw is a slide on the upper level of the pool. Adults can relax in a hot tub adjacent to the pool. There is also an atrium with tables, that overlooks the pool area, if you need to bring food and eat it in close proximity of the pool.

The location, views, and the swimming pool earn this hotel 4 stars.
It would have been 5, but at least our room, showed it's age. Some examples:The carpet was in need of a thorough cleaning, or replacement, and the toilet needed to be replaced - was loose, one of the elevator buttons (the one for our floor) did not light up... The room I had checked in online was unavailable, and we were moved to a different room and given a F&B credit for the trouble. The reason I bring it up is that perhaps the hotel is doing spot maintenance as needed.

Our stay at Park Vista was wonderful! The pools and game room were fun, the food and staff at the restaurant inside the hotel was amazing, the room was clean, the front desk staff was very courteous, and the atmosphere in general was very nice! My only complaint is we couldn't really enjoy our balcony. The water from the air units leaked onto the floor our balcony and the water from the air units from the upper floors dripped onto the railing so that you couldn't stand outside and fully enjoy it without getting rained on by air conditioner water.

I've now visited this location twice, and I still love it! The rooms are roomy and comfortable, the hospitality is incredible, and the cozy fire pit on the patio is everything! And I haven't even mentioned the views. You owe it to yourself to check it out, at least once.

Best Hotel in Gatlinburg, with the best views. Always stay here when we visit Gatlinburg. My son calls it the "Pancake Hotel" because it's cylindrical and looks like a stack of pancakes haha.

It's our 3rd time here. The rooms are nice and clean with pretty views. The pool is wonderful for kids, not so great if you want to swim laps. The kids can play and you can see them clearly. There are two slides one a little higher and faster for older kids. The deepest it gets is 4ft in the pool with the big slide. The lower pool is 1-2 ft deep. It's perfect for little ones.

Just no! The pictures make this hotel look much nicer than it really is. It's a giant piece of concrete that feels cold and creepy. The staff were just as cold, not welcoming. Our room looked nothing like the pics. It was dark, gloomy, musty, and old. The tiny bathroom looked like it hadn't been remodeled since the 70's. The tub was yellowish. This hotel is WAY overpriced for the condition and quality. It's about an $80 a night hotel, but they charge MUCH more. I can't believe Hilton puts their name on it. We got a refund after being in the room for only 5 minutes. I've never left a hotel early. Hey, we got free cookies. We went to The Courtyard Marriott - so much nicer and cheaper!

Beautifully done lobby. We booked the room with king bed and two bunk beds for our three kids. Large room and the kids even got a half bath. Everything was clean in our room and included two bottles of water. I am happy we ended up going here instead of spending hundreds more with vrbo. Go here. Eat here. Swim here. Biltz

We've stayed at a couple other DoubleTree and Hilton hotels. Unfortunately this one didn't quite live up to our expectations. When we arrived they had us in a room we didn't book, they fixed that quickly though. Their staff were friendly and helpful. My real issue is that the hotel, which had lots of no smoking signs posted, reeked of pot and cigarettes throughout the whole stay. It was inescapable on our floor.

We love staying at the Park Vista, Rooms are clean and comfortable. The city view rooms are beautiful. (Attached photos are before The Fire of 2016). Facilities have always been well maintained and the service we have received has been great. We love the "brunch" on Sunday mornings. You can catch the shuttle bus at the front door and go almost anywhere in the area you want to go or stay at the hotel and enjoy the the amenities for a relaxing weekend.

We've been visiting this hotel for years. Always been great. Unfortunately hotel now allows pets. While eating in the lounge area, dogs walking through and barking. Was awaken by dog barking. Dog urinated in floor in lobby area. My little boy ruined his shoes when he stepped in dog feces outside front door. We will stay somewhere that doesn't allow animals next time. Sad to see a nice hotel go downhill.

Bedbugs and Lack of Consideration from Hotel Management

I visited the Park Vista for a conference on June 29th and 30th, spending the nights of the 28th and 29th at the hotel. Two days after my arrival back home I noticed bedbug bites on many areas of my body that were exposed as I slept. The bites on my arms were unsightly and very embarrassing. I decided to reach out to the manager at the Park Vista to notify them of the issue. Upon contacting the front desk manager I was told that she would have housekeeping seek an outside agency to come in and check for bedbugs in the room in which I stayed. The manager then stated she would give me a call back after the investigating agency relayed their findings. After a week I had not heard back from the manager. I contacted the Park Vista and left a message requesting the manager I originally spoke with contact me as soon as possible. After being unable to reach the manager I decided to call the health department to get them to check on the issue. I continued trying to contact the front desk manager at the hotel during the following couple of days to no avail. I received a call from a lady with the health department a few days later stating that she had visited the Park Vista, but did not enter my room because it was being treated for head lice, which showed up after my stay according to hotel management. Head lice may be the case but it also seems like a good way to cover up a possible bedbug issue.
I have left numerous messages trying to reach the general manager at the hotel with no success. It is obvious that the management at the Park Vista is not concerned about my condition. Please be aware of the risks associated with staying at the Park Vista, and please also understand the management s lack of concern towards their customers. I am a loyal Hilton patron, but I find these conditions and management s actions unacceptable. I guess it is time to start staying elsewhere.

It's has a great view overlooking Gatlinburg. Plenty of parking and they had a pianist playing on New Year's Eve. The rooms are nice and comfortable and clean. Breakfast was really tasty and they had made to order omelettes. Pool is really awesome two tired with a pool. The cleaning service was good. One problem was we tried ordering room service (a burger) and it never showed up after an hour and a half and multiple calls. Now granted it was new year's Eve and super busy. Overall a good stay.
