Enjoyed our stay at The Park Vista. Nice clean room, comfy beds, pretty view and the kids loved the pool! Would stay again.
Enjoyed our stay at The Park Vista. Nice clean room, comfy beds, pretty view and the kids loved the pool! Would stay again.
Friendly staff, restaurant had ok food, bathroom was very small, plumbing was very shabby, lobby looked cluttered and disorganized. Hotel feels very outdated. Not what I expected from a hilton.
This is our first night here. Very nice place. Our a/c was not working after being in the room, I notified the front desk and the repairman was waiting on me when I got back up to the room. He looked at the unit and said it was burnt up and said he'd be right back. He came back with a new unit and within 15 mins he'd removed and replaced the a/c unit with a new one and it was working after that.
Air conditioner did not work, tub would not drain, sink would not drain, pillows were hard, view from the room was burned trees...not a good value....at all!!
Super rude front desk staff, and I'm not sure why. One lady was extremely kind she was blonde and a little older and super sweet. Every other encounter with them was extremely unpleasant. No eye contact, hello, how are you, or smile. It was bizarre how rude they were.
My family enjoyed this hotel very much. Awesome views from the room.. fun pool and friendly staff.
Friendly staff! Great service and very dog friendly. Our pup was welcomed and we enjoyed our stay!
Great hotel. Liked the round building. Grounds are beautiful.
We visited for the east Tennessee senior clinic. Very nice place and extremely nice staff.
Clean, comfortable rooms and pleasant staff, but breakfast at restaurant was not ready at 6 AM. Located on a steep hill.
Slow flushing toilet, clogged sink, ppl harassing me to smoke in the parking lot...nice pool, but overall needs a good remodel...
Came here for an impromptu mini vacation booking was easy, staff was very nice. The room was clean and the bed is super comfortable. The breakfast was really good but a little pricey at 14.95 per person per day, so we ate there the first morning and the other 2 days we bought some bagels and cream cheese from the store and ate breakfast in our room.
Nice place. On a hill with great views. An indoor pool that wows. Wish we could've stayed longer.
Very cool hotel, I love the uniqueness of the design. The indoor pool is amazing. The price per night is right on target.
This is a wonderful place to stay! It has a large lobby, a restaurant around the corner, lounge, piano, computers where you can check your emails or other things, two big pools and one for children, and nice rooms with great views of the mountains! The rooms has a micro/fridge and nice beds and bathrooms. I highly recommend this place!
pro; One star for H.K. and for view.
breakfast was good. overall hotel is clean. bar service is excellent.
con; Service at the front-desk sucks. Very poor service and they keep changing breakfast prices. That freaking kid at the desk has smart mouth. Over heard him made comment about me to the other guest.
WHY the hell they don't answer the phone late!
my room don't have microwave??
it seem like they only remodeled ground floor. rest of floors out of date.
very poor and unprofessional experience at front desk.
Wonderful place to stay. The drive up the side of the hill was fun too. The hotel offered city view and mountain views. I would definitely stay here again.
My favorite hotel in Gatlinburg. Great city or mountain views from the hotel room. Love sitting by the fire pit at night.
Overall we are having a pleasant stay. The lobby is clean and well appointed. Guest check in was easy, but the staff was not overly friendly. The guest room with 2 kings is dated, but clean. Housekeeping is minimal. Towels and soaps were replaced. Nothing else. The pool area is a fun design for kids. The entire pool area could use a deep clean. There is a lot of mildew build up. The pool is often without towels. I would stay again, but come in prepared that this is not the usual Hilton Double Tree experience.
Saw a bear! Well, my mother inlaw did. We all had a wonderful time. And our accomodations were awesome.
It was nice but it's quite far from town .. you can catch the trolly but most hotels offer a shuttle.. they do not
Spotless in our room. Everything was great. Staff very helpful. Beautiful view of the mountains and city. Parking can be hard to find at end of day.
It was amazing I liked when they give you a cookie when you first check in
This was a great hotel. My husband and I were camping in the park a few nights before staying here and we really wanted to shower so we called to see if they could check us in early, they didn't have the room we originally booked available but gave us other options and got us in early. We ended up getting room service for dinner late at night and they were very friendly and fast. The breakfast was great as well. Would stay here again!!!
Two stars is stretching it on this Hilton affiliated hotel (It's for the views and decent room. I understand this inn is in high usage resort family destination, but Hilton should let this one go. I'll be positive on a couple of things- the bed was great and the AC was good. That's about it on positive. Smallest bathroom ever. All common areas are dingy, beat up, and not being cleaned or maintained properly.
At 6 in the morning I found trash on the floors in the hallways, in the elevators, and even in the lobby areas. The baseboards are beat up and not being addressed. When trying to enter an elevator the night of our arrival there was a guest with a Pit Bull dog on a leash inside and he had to restrain the dog when the door opened for us to get in. None of us would enter in that small space with that a dog. Please tell me why you allow dogs of that kind in your hotel at all? And twice on the elevators there was also water on the floors (from the swimming pool?)
Restaurant was supposed to be open at 6. They didn't turn the lights on or open until 6:15. Wanted to sit on the outside patio but doors were locked so I just had coffee.
I'm sure this was a fabulous place at one time, but I couldn't wait to leave here. Not Hilton material at all.
Very helpful staff, clean well appointed rooms, and close to downtown Gatlinburg. Looking forward to returning.
Had to switch rooms because we were finding dog food all over the floor and I have a toddler which is not safe. The second room was an upgrade but it looked like someone threw up in the bathtub. The internet sucks. Do not come here if you want to use WiFi.
Comfy beds, nice rooms. Indoor pool fantastic for families. Have to take trolley downtown, but the view of the mountains make it worth it.
Amazing view and super comfortable beds/pillows. Everyone is really nice there
This was a nice place. The rooms were a little dated but the beds were true kings and so comfortable. The staff really go out of the way to make you happy. Room service was really good and great price. It is a neat concept a round hotel glass elevators inside, very nice pool area indoors for the whole family. There is so much to do in the town. And pigeon forge is 10 min away with even more to do. Can't wait to get back down for more than a day.
The hotel upon entrance is very nice. The pool is awesome and multi tiered. However there were several Band-Aids floating in it...ewww!! Also, our room was dirty when we got here. There was literally poop smeared on the toilet seat and pube hair all over the bathroom floor, along with long black women's hair all over the floor as well. it was obvious they hadnt vacuumed either. When we told them our room was dirty they just said sorry we are booked to capacity. One good thing is the beds were comfy. You have to pay for breakfast, its not complimentary. The only thing they do complimentary is give infused water( which was not available the whole time we stayed) and coffee. They also gave cookies upon check-in. Each guest got one cookie a piece you had to pay for extra. After our experience, we will be staying at another hotel next trip as we go to Gatlinburg quiet often.
Nice place. Book asking for breakfast to be included, it is cheaper that way. Loved our view, our comfy beds and pillows. Spread out, lots of places to socialize outside of staying in your room. Shuttle service is great too. Parking downtown is expensive or too spread out. Shuttle run every 30 minutes. Would stay there again. Plus, nice hot tub, swimming pool with slides for family and kids.
Very clean, great views, wonderful staff, food is great, pool is great for kids, and awesome beds and pillows!! Really have no complaints, and if I did, it would be that the bathrooms (toilet area) is super tight and small. That's just being picky. Will definitely be back next year, just like the last 3!!
Beautiful veiw , excellent service , wonderful room with a freaking amazing veiw , very nice pool and hot tub
The front desk people were not nice, they really don't like people who use Priceline to check in. The room was clean in the pool was awesome. The maintenance man of the pool was one of the nicest people I've ever met. It's kind of far away from everything which is cool in my book. Great place to stay if you can get over people with horrible attitudes at the front desk
My wife and I have stayed four times and look forward to our fifth.
Great hotel! We really enjoyed the location in the heart of Gatlinburg. Balcony view was amazing. Hotel staff were helpful. Pools and slides are one of the best we have been to. Our kids did not want to leave and neither did we.
Staff and people were outstanding. Very friendly and great service with kindness. Its worth the price
Room was nice but the rest of the hotel is dated and in need of updating.
Highly over priced for the quality of hotel and service they provide. We had to change multiple rooms and all of them were stinking. When we complained, they came over to spary freshners and clean up the AC filters. For the price they charge, we were told breakfast was inclusive but after moving in, we learnt that we had to purchase everything in this 1970 old stinking building.
Compared to most of the other hotels in the area it is very nice. However, if you are looking to stay in the Gatlinburg area I would recommend a cabin or camping in the national park.
Nice hotel, a little off the beaten path so the trollies take forever to get you back there from the strip.
We were greeted with smiles and warm cookies when we arrived. The rooms were clean and provided a great view of the city. There is also a large parking lot where you can leave your car parked and take the town trolley to avoid parking fees and traffic. I love Gatlinburg and will definitely come back to stay at The Park Vista.
Elegant rooms with a great view and excellent service.
I love the Park Vista! So thankful that it survived the recent fires in Gatlinburg & that they were still able to accommodate my kids annual ROTC Military Ball.
The Park Vista is a very nice, clean hotel. Our King room is very spacious and the view of downtown Gatlinburg is very nice. We had a problem checking in, because our room was not ready until 6:00 p.m. We were in town for a soccer tournament, and several of our rooms weren't ready before we had to leave for our first game. This was very frustrating, and some of the desk staff weren't very friendly. Other than that, the stay has been nice.
Beautiful view from our room. The restaurant inside the hotel had great food and the bar was great. The room had big comfortable beds. The only draw back was the bathroom was small. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
We had a great Birthday trip when we stayed at this hotel.
Views from the rooms are fabulous, and the location is not far from all the attractions in Gatlinburg.
We got this hotel through Hotwire so the price was keen too!
Love this place!! Beds are so comfy! Only downfall is the restaurant is a little pricey and you have to catch the trolley to go downtown unless you want to pay $10 parking everyday. Make sure you understand the trolley routes and colors as those are quite confusing. Pool area is the best around! Especially for kids! Look forward to coming back!
didn't actually stay here but the hotel was beautiful and the view from the hotel was amazing. next time I'm in town, I'd like to stay here
Pet hotel.
Not sure what happened over the years, but not the same experience as in the past. The overall cleanliness of the hotel went down. Restaurant food was mediocre at best. Yet the rooms and drink prices were high for the area. Pool area was dirty and many bugs in the pool, especially for a indoor pool.
My room and especially the bed smelled like a wet dog. The hotel was full, so even though We had no pet, We had to sleep with dog stench all night.
Will not be going back.
Great location, top of the the town, excellent view of the mountains for our mountain-view room. Excellent bedding, very comfortable, due to the shape of the building, the room feel a bit small, however it's sufficient size for double King beds. Service is good. I want to give 5 stars for this hotel, however there's a big problem with the pool area, it doesn't look remotely clean. Moss are very visible on staircase to the slide, underneath the staircase, sides of the 2 waterfalls and dirt was collected at the bottom of the incline going from kiddy pool to the regular pool. I believe this is a management issue, because the pool is open from 6 am to midnight, they don't have the time to scrub the area on a regular basis.
Wonderful food at restraunt. Great fun for families and couples. Highly recommend.
This hotel is in a great location with beautiful views. However, the hotel is very dated. The grounds had dog poo around. The balcony was full of bugs, the carpet was stained, there was hair on the towels and in the shower, and the room didn't smell fresh. The ventilation in the pool area is poor. And I wish had paid more attention to it being a pet friendly hotel. There were dogs everywhere. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone else, as I will not return!
Nice facilities. Foid st tge event was very hood. Hotel is very clean too.
Very Great hotel to stay in if you are visiting Gatlinburg. Very friendly staff and clean hotel.
Beautiful interior with nice mountain view rooms. It's easy to spot and I know that most rooms are great but ask for rooms on the upper floors. If looking to being walking distance to everything it would not be my first pick.
The view was amazing. But much, much better than that was the staff. We were only there for four nights but we came away feeling like family. There isn't a hotel I've ever stayed at that was more accommodating, more friendly, or a better place to stay at. I don't think I'll ever consider staying in another hotel in the Smokies as long as the staff is there. Other guests we met have been coming there for years and know the staff by name, and vice versa. I absolutely know that when we see Nancy and Marina again they will remember us. We will remember them because they made our stay special!
Service was great, friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were reasonably priced and the view was fantastic.
Great location, and the rooms were nice & clean. Facility is a little dated, but would definitely stay again.
We've stayed here evey time we have vacationed in Gatlinburg. The hotel is a great place to bring large families. The breakfast buffet is awesome with a good variety of food to choose from. The pool is one of the high points of each day. There's a shuttle bus that runs from the hotel to points all over Gatlinburg. The only thing negative is all the pets that are starting to come into the hotel. It seems that most hotels are allowing people to bring their pets. I have 3 dogs, but they don't come on vacation with me.
