Only thing concern are :
1. food expensive
2. shop inside store expensive
3. far distance from shopping area 2 miles
otherwise is perfect
i will coming back if later travel to miami ,
Great place to stay. Friendly staff and great pool and beach area.
I booked my hotel about 4 to 5 months in advance for my birthday celebration. Paid the non-refundable deposit. Got to the hotel and felt rushed checking in (not your normal let me get you to your room, but more of a I don t wanna be here so let s hurry this along.
The bellmen were true gentleman with my luggage and opening doors and wishing me a wonderful stay.
Had to get some extra assistance soon after because I spotted a cockroach in the room, ON THE BED! I ll be honest and admit that I have a huge phobia for bugs especially indoors (that shouldn t be inside a $1200 weekend stay hotel!) so this was not only disgusting but scary for me.
The hotel did move my room (because let s face it, they had to) and advised that they were upgrading me as a compliment. I moved up 3 flights from my original room LITERALLY, and had the same view. After many of detailed conversations, I was advised that switching my room and giving me a $100 credit on my account, is all they could do . It s never all you can do for a million dollar company but of course that s how they treat visitors.
Stay at The Palms in Miami at your own risk!!! I know I ll never do business there again. CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE YOUR PRIORITY and only the concierge staff seem to care
Just need to work on the food and service time , but everything else was great.
Beautiful hotel, swimming pool surrounded by vegetation, good beach, very comfortable rooms.
A good hotel. Rich and varied breakfast buffet. Is not really a hotel which I would have to book again. Not because it is bad, but simply because there are many others in this price range.
Rich breakfast and very attentive service. Like that.
Quaint, boutique feeling. Has a true Floridian feel. Small but quality accommodations, excellent and friendly service, fresh and delicious food. Food and drink a bit pricey. Small pool area so go early or head for the beach with great views and ample space.
A large beachfront Hotel opposite the rent Beach Hotel in Miami that we were staying at
Family and relaxing place in the middle of Palm beach
Love this hotel. Amenities and customer service is excellent, this place is a gem.
Nice room with a great view and there is in the morning, evening and at noon a buffet in the hotel restautaurant
Great hotel however beware they will charge you $12.70 for the waters in your room.
Excellent location, central to many other bars and restaurants and close to the beach.
Terrible hotel. They obligate you to pay $41 daily for valet parking and just to trash your car. My mother rented a car to drive around miami and when we gave in the car to them, it was totally fine. But later in the day when we decided to take the car out, there was a huge dent in the front bumper. When we reported it, the denied it (like the terrible trash they are). Then we asked them to check the camaras to prove the car was fine before and trashed after but they said there is no evidence and DIDNT WANT TO SHOW THE CAMERAS! Now we have to pay hundreds to a rental company because of their irresponsibility. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! Don't go here!
Great customer service! Good and drinks were a little pricey but delicious!! Would definitely come back!!
The outer layer is great. Direct access to the beach. Room in order. Unfortunately, the service is not so good, twice our room was not cleaned-a star deduction. In addition, we waited in the restaurant half an hour for a service. There is still a lot of room for improvement.
The experience was very horrible and disappointing I expected more from the Palms Hotel and Spa I came to Miami to celebrate my birthday and overall my birthday was ruined first the housekeeping came in my room without my permission while I had the sleeping sign on the door and when the came in they invested my trash and told front desk they smelled smoke in my room but that wasn't the case me and my husband would go to the designated smoking areas and there were no ash trays provided and we informed the staff and they were very rude and still did not provide us with a ash tray so me and my husband decided to go to Alvins and purchase us some souvenir and while in the process we purchased us a souvenir ash tray so when he go downstairs to smoke at the designated areas he could take his own ash tray with out the hassle of the staff being rude so when the housekeeping lady came in she seen the ash tray and reported that he was smoking in the room which he wasn't so that caused a big hassle and stress added to my stay so while sitting there we would eat out cause the food was very overpriced so they never informed us that we could reheat our food if needed so a lot of our food went to waste and when we tried to eat outside the staff came and told us that we could not eat there me thinking that since I paid 1500 that I would be able to eat anywhere that I pleased no no no the staff came over very rudely and states that we could not eat there so overall for the price I paid for everything me and my husband got treated very rudely and my birthday was very horrible i will NEVER stay at this hotel every again in my life. The staff needs to get better staff , honestly I couldn't wait to leave that hotel so gla dot be leaving
Great hotel with a friendly staff. The surroundings are great and you walk directly to the beach. I had a great stay
Nice and well enough a little expensive hotel, sweet staff, and lovely pool area, direct access to the beach, and super lovely rooms.
I m only giving this place 1 star because the outside pool / beach area is gorgeous. First of all just come here for the day and use the pool, do not stay here. EVER. We experienced 9:30AM CONSTRUCTION with no notice prior to them using a JACK HAMMER over our room. THEN we woke up to small ITCHY, bites all over us which the manager on duty immediately dismissed and didn t even look at the pics by definitely was quick to say oh it s not bed bugs like he s some type of professional? He gave us a small credit for the inconvenience of construction but that s it, the credit didn t even cover one nights stay... 10/10 DO NOT recommend. Hopefully this is helpful. Also some of front desk staff has no idea what s going on / was not accommodating for early check in.
Met a friend for the day. Room was nice, beach was perfect, service was great, spa was beautiful, massage was relaxing.
Rooms are very small
Bathroom is so small u can take a dump.
The metal piece in the shower fell twice amd they had a hard time changing my room . Disgusting
Hotel is nice pool is gorgous. But the service is really not the best. ...
Really having a bad expirience with the service..
The amenities are amazing! I love its pool area and proximity to the beach.
Great room with a view. Definitely check Essentially for dinner!!
Very nice hotel if you have the money for it. When we booked we were told we would be getting free breakfast which turned out to be wrong, so we had to order breakfast at the hotel every morning which was close to $50 a day. Wifi pretty much doesn't even work so don't plan on bringing a computer or doing anything on your phone. Our vacation was not worth the money spent and we won't be returning.
Our reservations were for a handicap room which we were not provided. When we inquired, we were told the room was a handicap room, it wasn't. The handicap elevator did not work the 4 days we were there. There was an alternative entrance which we were not made aware of until the evening before we were to check out. Staff should have been forthcoming with this information.
To start off, I had my wedding here. Great venue and great service. The wedding planner with the hotel was awesome as well.
The hotel experience, sup-par. Maybe it is the low rates, maybe it is because of the time of year. I just finished two nights at this hotel and the amount of riff-raff, (customers it attracted) was just awful. There was occasions where mothers were breast feeding in the pool, a group brought their own speaker to play music at the pool and bar, (louder than hotel music), and staff response was lousy. I guess a customer is allowed to bring a portable speaker and blast their music for all other customers to hear, at least that is what staff said at the hotel. Unbelievable.
The food is pretty good, and rooms are nice. Definitely not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. If you are traveling to Miami from another state, you might want to look for a more expensive venue. Unless you like the aforementioned.
We had to cancel at short notice and this was very friendly and accommodating
You love it , beautiful, nice weather, good service , close to the beach , cheap , Miami is crazy but you will love it
Trendy hotel, with pool and beach service, beach chairs on the beach for free. Good breakfast buffet
Unable to use a gift certificate 3 months after expiration. They wouldn't honor any services what so ever. Please be sure to use your gift certificate by the expiration date. Very poor customer service.
Very very good hotel, we had a great time with my family, it is very clean, its staff is super nice and the facilities (all) are excellent.
Very pleasant staff, especially the lovely door and cleaning staff , facilities are good and rooms live up to expectations. Pool and beach access fantastic. Negative points, shower a little mouldy and tired decor. Coffee pods More
Everything is clean! Looks great! Good service.
Biggest con, the BEDS they are as hard as a rock!!!!!!! I couldn t sleep well all night!!!!
Since it s resort they should really think about upgrading mattress. Have stayed at less expensive resorts and never had a problem with mattress.
parking is 42$ daily but it is VALET so it s understandable, you can t really get parking anywhere else.
Nice location on mid beach with direct access to boardwalk and beach.
The Palms is an excellent resort. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel decor reflects the resort description. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good, however one of the best things about this location is that a 6 dollar Uber ride gets you to all the awesome dining options in Miami Beach. Finally, a big thanks to the staff on the beach. They were friendly, prompt, and fun. We ended up at the Palms unexpectedly after our cruise got cancelled, and it completely saved what could have been a vacation disaster. We will definitely return.
Cozy hotel with large rooms, friendly staff, always ready to help. Beach 2 minutes walk from the hotel, free sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach. Very tasty and varied breakfasts, I recommend the buffet, not a very large hotel, so there are not many people and there are always free places on the beach and in the restaurant. Free coffee and coffee machine in the rooms. Free water and ice on the floor. One small minus - for lunch and dinner there is not a very rich menu, all the dishes were not familiar to us, the local fish is not tasty. Near the hotel we couldn't find where else to eat.
Rooms are nice and clean. Bathroom a little small. Friendly staff.
I'm here for my honeymoon and had a awful experience at dream so I walked out and found the palms and was very satisfyed . front desk help was perfect . I was put up in penthouse and got treated amazingly. we will absolutely be coming back :)
Excellent hotel, very nice room, very clean and up to date, very nice Beach and bar area
Easy and fast check in. Beautiful room, clean and very chic. Plenty of closet space with all necessary amenities. Pool was very relaxing. Resturant was pretty good. Drinks were great. But a bit slow on service at the tikki bar, which i could only attribute to the high volume of orders due to it being labor day weekend. I'd have no problem staying here again.
Great Hotel, we were there as familly of 24 and we really enjoy it. from Grand parents to babies.
Great beautiful resorts hotel excellent for families easy access to South Beach in front runs the beach trolley which is free and frequent. Private beach sort of smallis not recommended for singles or couples with no kids
Fantastic hotel, other than 5 stars it deserves 10, located right on the beach 2 steps from the ocean, fabulous context, seems to live a dream. If you go to Miami go there because it's the top. Super clean, staff extreme friendliness and helpfulness. Other than in Italy ......... my partner and I did 2 weeks in half board and the food was just 10 and praise, then delicious lobsters. The best vacation we've done. AMAZING ..................................
Excellent place next to the beach and with its own beach very nice pool and gardens and a very friendly treatment of the staff the very comfortable rooms with excellent showers and an incredible ocean view
The Palms was a quiet beautiful oasis! There is ample seating outside from the porch, garden, pool, and large private beach complete with loungers. All of these offered their own perfect ambience. My last day was spent switching between all of these areas with ease. Service by staff was great, even to accommodating a late dinner when we just missed restaurant closing time on the night of our arrival. Also to note, the staff was not pushy to buy drinks or food, only to check on you. The bathrooms nearest the pool were cleaned hourly without fail and the rest of the hotel was very clean as well. Close to other hotels and restaurants and an Uber away from South Beach and the Lincoln Rd mall. I stayed here upon recommendation and will definitely stay here again!
It was great had a wonderful time, love the room n the shower. Breakfast was wonderful big up to that omelet guy it's was great. Looking forward to be there soon.
Excellent hotel The attention is very personalized, the food is the best and not to mention the beach and pool.
The Palms hotel and spa was very nice with a few exceptions hence the 3 star review. The room, beach, lobby, and pool met our expectations. What didn t meet our expectations were the elevator service. It seems one out of two in the lobby More
Luxurious hotel. Pricey, but if you want to indulge, this is the place. On the beach.
Today, I should have been getting ready for our flight to #Miami for our #birthday vacation. But due to #HurricaneIrma barreling down on #Florida and the #Caribbean, we have decided to stay home and continue to #PrayForFlorida and #PrayForHouston as they deal with severe winds and widespread flooding.
However, according to The Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami (@thepalmshotel and #palmshotelmiami), we still should fly down as it's "business as usual" in Miami and no they will not issue a refund or change our #reservation to a later date due to this category 5 hurricane. So while Florida residents are scrambling to purchase bottled water and other #emergency and #survival kit items, we should still party like the world isn't ending, like #armageddon isn't coming.
I need to know what kind of #crack is being sold at #palmshotelmiami / @thepalmshotel because they clearly don't care about the welfare of their #hotelguests to be insensitive to our #safety and #wellbeing. They must be watching all the #fakenews where Florida's governor has declared a state of emergency. Silly me to not want to join them at this time.
Thanks to #Expedia for their patience and assistance as best as they could. (I was on the phone for hours and spoke with Marshall, Rana, and Jazmine over my day and a half of calling.)
As for the Palms, I will never try to book your property again for a vacation. If this is how you treat your guests I wouldn't want to be your enemy!
The Palms is from my little experience, one of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying. The entire staff go out of their way to make you feel important and well taken care off! I actually asked the gentleman and dinner to stop folding my napkin each time I used it.....pampered is not something I'm acustomed too and they do a great job of it here!! Full on spa coupled with a pool, oceanfront access and reasonable rates, make this place a must stay.
Really disappointing, try somewhere else first. They are just phoning it in. Impossible to get a drink on the beach, maybe the flags mean don t serve me . Also hard to get a seat at the pool or on the beach. We sat beside a storage trailer one day. Also hard to get a drink in the bar for some reason, they seem to get overwhelmed easily. The food is ok, but better close by. The shop in the lobby closed early every night. The concierge sent us to a chain restaurant for tacos. Try somewhere else first, it s like like this place is a great deal. There is better in the area.
Terrible. I popped a tire on my way to a spa appointment on Mother's Day and was running late to my appointment, called to cancel and they were not helpful AT ALL. Not only did they not reschedule me for another date or OFFER to.. they charged me the 100 percent charge. This is NOT what hospitality and well being is about.
Facility was nice.
Beach area smelled like garbage from the seaweed.
Would have been nice if they mentioned this.
It was a nice place. Overpriced but I think that's just Miami. Parking is steep, and then there's a resort fee. The room was very comfortable and featured a rain shower. Beach is right there so you can't beat that.
Right off the beqch literally. Pretty spacious rooms
