Neat's customer service was excellent....My old version had crashed and this support person worked tirelessly for 4 hours to recover and reinstall and set up my new program. I am well pleased!!!!

I was dubious of moving to the cloud based version and had had troubles doing so. Christian in tech-support made it all work smoothly and now I'm very very pleased. Neat company... promote this guy! Answered all my questions as well. Thank you!!

I have been a user for several years. The tutorial was great. But a few questions still linger. I am a beta user.When I scan it takes a while till it processes. Then I still have to (as it is an after thought) go back and put in in essential info. Titl and so on. I am sure this is a training issue on my part.

My only complaint is that it took me several tries on your website to actually get a live person to respond. And...when I called your phone line and clicked on #3 for technical support the machine merely repeated the options, never connected me to tech support. I finally was able to get the live chat to respond after several tries and after I actually logged in to my very basic account, which I had forgotten I actually had.
However, after the catastrophe caused by upgrading to MacOS Catalina I have been able to retrieve all my hundreds of prior documents and now will "merely" have to resort them into manageable reference categories.

Alma was amazing to work with. However, that is the only nice thing to say about the company right now. It took us just shy of a full month to sync our legacy software for our small business. You pulled the legacy software support before the new version is even fully functional. It does not have features on it that I use daily. I cannot see all of my heading columns as I could in legacy, and was told the development team was working on this. The manual adjustment feature is gone, so I'm unable to manually adjust lighter receipts that do not show up correctly, even though they scan fine in other software. The new software is rubbish and is not ready for use. I was even told that the expense reports I create should be 200 receipts or less or there might be errors. As stated, Alma was persistent and constantly checked on the issue. She spent hours helping the program when it stalled syncing as we were switching to the new software. I will be looking for a different software, as yours does not have the features I need. I have been a neat customer for over 10 years, and I am disappointed at the lack of preparation and specific capabilities the software is missing. I will not be recommending this software to anyone, and I will be looking for an alternative software and cloud service.

Neatco's Mr. Alvi A. assisted me with an issue I had with Legacy software. He was courteous, kind and patient. More so, Alvi took control of my desktop computer and swooped in. He unlocked my stuck software which had 5 files locked in the processing queue. My database was saved. Due to Alvi's kind instructions, I'm now transitioning into the 'Cloud' based Neat software and moving ahead. Thank you so much Alvi and Neatco. I'm so relieved. Paperless office all the way!

Leslie was an outstanding technician. She was thorough and polite. She was also very professional and maintained the best standards and protocols you have. Additionally I was impressed by her dogged professionslism and persistent to help me migrate to the cloud. She is a keeper - I recommend her for higher responsibility. As a senior Program Manager for Capstone Corporation I would hire her based on how she handled my issue.

Absolutely amazing!!! My tech DOLLY was more than amazing. I was having many issues getting my scanner to work with the new software. She helped me continuously for over two weeks. I would schedule a time with her to call when I was available and she was always there never let me down or hanging EVER!! Words can not explain how much I appreciate her work and dedication. Since NEAT has moved away from the stand alone leg...

Since NEAT has moved away from the stand alone legacy base, I have been very frustrated. While trying to work with it, suddenly I couldn't open my existing files to move them to the new platform - and I was trying to move from Windows to Apple - double problem. I finally went to the tech team. Alvi was very helpful. He listened to me go on about my frustrations and then went to work. It took a long time, but he was able to get my existing files moved to my new computer (still in the Windows side of my Apple) and fix the program so I can now see all my images. I am very very grateful to him for his patience, perseverance, and effectiveness. I'm still not happy with NEAT and their new platform and the problems it has caused me. (Hence no fifth star.)

They are friendly and do not rush the client in receiving the training. I highly recommend their NEAT products, software and training. You can't go wrong !

Probably the most frustrating experience I have ever had trying to get a piece of hardware to work. Seems if you don't setup an account or purchase a pricing monthly subscription it is nearly impossible to use their scanners. I would advise avoiding this company and using a snap-scan scanner, which actually allows you to get documents from your scanner to your computer.

I don't recommend this company or their products! AVOID! I've been paying for cloud service for over a year. Now I have a problem and I can't get ahold of anyone. Not even in sales. THe software doesn't work. The online support says 23 minutes to wait, then it went to 34 minutes. I've been waiting online over 1.5 hours.

Cyrus was terrific!! My Neat Connect Scanner died on me and my company purchased the ScanSnap iX500. I installed it but couldn't figure out how to use the new software with the old, so Cyrus did a remote setting to help me figure it out! He was the best! He was very caring of my needs and patient with me on the process. Thank you Cyrus!

After using the proprietary version of Neat for years, I was hesitant to change to the subscription-based service. Since the older version was no longer supported, I finally made the switch. I had an instance where a lot of my receipts did not transfer and Cyrus A. from tech support worked with me for FOUR DAYS consistently to make sure that all of my files transferred properly. I am beyond happy with the level of support I received!

She was so helpful and worked remotely over a 2 day period of time to resolve my computer issues in order to install the necessary updates. I called Neat support and the lady I spoke with was able to get Neat Desktop for Windows 10 installed by taking control of my computer. She knew how to help me but as usual Neat does not work well as advertised. I can use it on Windows but have never been able to make it work on my Mac. They continue to promise software that will work on Mac and sell their scanners to the MAC but the software fails in every way on the MAC. Poor Poor support. Do not recommend for Mac users.

Not only did Cyrus A. assist me in uploading Neat Smart to my computer, he captured all the files in my Neat v5.7 and put them in the upgraded software. He then deleted the old application. He also showed me how to access the tutorials! I was very impressed with this gentleman and how well spoken and polite he was. Thanks again, Cyrus!

I am being forced to move my personal files to their new 2.0 system which is cloud based. Personally, I do not want my personal information in the cloud it can be hacked and then I loose. Look at how many data breaches that has happen to companies around the United States in the past year. They will not even migrate my old backup s in to my new filing cabinet unless I use cloud services also I do not want pdf s I want the actual document the system was designed for in the first place now I must find a company that will be willing to help me. I feel this company can no longer be trusted with such personal, and business information. When you call you get someone offshore in the Philippines to easy to be hacked, I do not feel safe having my information on their servers. For the record I am running the most current windows operating system windows 10 Pro 64 bit and I have a 256-gig encryption software I designed and wrote myself, so my information stays safe on my own personal storage system

Awful support. I've been using Neat for 7 years. Since the introduction of their mobile app, I've had to cancel twice due to synchronization issues with the desktop app. Now, it's happening again. Calling support leaves me with a voice menu that doesn't respond to key tones or voice commands, and would only open a case anyway. Email responds telling the address is not monitored. Live chat had me waiting an hour, then I was send a link to an article and told to email some information, then I was disconnected, in spite of asking not to. Gonna have to kick them again, this time for good.

The technical service staff is always helpful. Rizza B. did a great job sorting out my issues remotely, but the product itself leaves a bit to be desired. Not being able to import online documents into Neat without having to print and then scan them is quite a nuisance especially since that feature existed in the past. I have been using Neat for all my record keeping for several years now, so I am married to the product and will wait for upgrades to happen!

I was on the chat room for 4hours thinking I was getting help. They told me it would take 30 minutes.. but the person helping me really had me on hold in between working on other customers. After 4.5 hours, I had to go to an appointment... I called and asked to speak to a manger but that never happened.. Just put in another call. My Neat machine is still not working.. I have been made a fool out of costomer services. It was a waste of a day..

My Customer Care Specialist was Alvi, who was very pleasant, easy to communicate with, very courteous and helpful and who provided me with the answer to my question of can use my Neat scanner, which has a retired legacy software, without a service subscription. I was happy to learn from Alvi that it is possible to use my Neat scanner for saving PDF documents, and opting for a subscription service later. And Alvi further provided me with the links that I needed to download the drivers and the software to do so. Five Stars for Alvi!

I was very pleased with all the assistance that I received with my Neat subscription. I have been a Neat user for years. When I had to get a new computer, I changed over to the cloud based software. I needed quite a bit of assistance to import my old files to the cloud. Alma V. was a life saver. I could not believe the amount of patience and kindness that was shown in helping me get everything up and running. Tonight I am happily scanning away. I highly recommend this software and the support that has been provided to me.

Horrible customer service. Tech support did not speak good English. I asked to speak to a person who I could understand and they disconnected me. I bought the large scanner and am disappointed with the new software. I received a charge for $69.00 for a "renewal" Had to call customer service and see why I was charged, as I had paid this "renewal" when I purchased the scanner. Spent forever on the phone. They finally realized they had overcharged me. We'll see how long it takes to get my refund for THEIR error.

Dolly was my technician at neat. I had no ability to scan and email documents. She was extremely diligent and patient and courteous while correcting the errors (wifi problems) and updated my software. She also pointed out some tips to help me going forward and indicated how I could save some money on my subscription. I am extremely satisfied. She was extremely knowledgeable. Neat is a very helpful service. I use it day to day for scanning documents, receipts and business contacts and use it for my taxes as well.

My experience with the Neat company it's been one of the best one!! I am so happy that I met Angelina E. she gave me all the help I needed and more. Her patience was unbelievable, I'm not that kind of person that knows technology, still she never complained or got nervous with me, during the week we would set a time for her to call me to follow up with my improvement, answering all my questions. We need more people like her, I come from different generations, I still need to learn slowly and she understood my needs! I just want to thank her again for all the help she gave me! Angelina you rock!!!!

I Needed to migrate old files into web based software... worked with Liza, she was awesome: professional, efficient, courteous and informative! I ve cleaned up and consolidated some files and I m VERY happy with Neat(still)!

Kudos to the Try Neat Support team for assisting with technical problems associated with the install of software purchased in 2012, after my computer crashed and had to be reset. I had lost all of my programs and the Try Neat Scanner would have ended up being a very expensive paperweight without Maria's assistance! Proof that this company is interested in the CUSTOMER part of customer service!!!

I had troubles installing the software to use the neat scanner, but thankfully the neat support team was able to remote access my computer and install all the necessary programs and make sure that everything was running properly before we disconnected.

I would definitely recommend using neat, the program is easy to use, especially if you are scanning receipts. You can also use the scanner to scan regular documents. Either which way if you ever need neat support, they have great customer service! Thanks again.

My wife and I have been a customer for over 2yrs and have been totally happy with the products even through the several hiccups that Neat has had over the years with software and hardware not working simultaneously but this has gotten under my skin and I m highly upset with the horrible customer service I have been receiving this week. I had a card canceled and tried to change cards before the due date on a new card and updated the account online. After updating the card I then called a representative to confirm that the card was updated and she informed that it was and that we should have any problems with the previous account. Of course she was wrong, they charged the account a day later and my bank charged an overdraft on the account. I tried to talk to another representative and they have no recollection of the call I had with the previous representative and their was nothing they could do to help me with the situation and the call dropped. I called back got another representative and voiced my issue and this representative informed that they would reimbursing us for the overdraft in the form of a credit and reversing the charge then will be charging us double the next month in the form of the credit. The next thing that happens is someone calls me and informs me that they will not be reversing the charges or reimbursing the the bank over $8.73. I m done with this stupid company plus the fact that it takes so much to talk to a human being.

Worst customer support of any company! I purchased a couple of years ago and the product would not work with Gmail, so I stopped using it. Recently I tried to start using it but I tried to reset my password over the weekend. Online reset option does not work, calling customer service does not work on the weekend either. Called today and online support goes round and round with no resolution. But guess what you can buy a customer support package? Give me a break!!

The people that work for NEAT are terrific. They couldn't be any better unless them came to my house to wash my windows. NEAT is a neat program, but over the years I have struggled with it now and then. Usually when they change their software. This is the way it is in tech of all things, but it frustrates me when all I want to do is get my work done. Fortunately, the people are fabulous.
