I called Neat support and the lady I spoke with was able to get Neat Desktop for Windows 10 installed by taking control of my computer. She knew how to help me but as usual Neat does not work well as advertised. I can use it on Windows but have never been able to make it work on my Mac. They continue to promise software that will work on Mac and sell their scanners to the MAC but the software fails in every way on the MAC. Poor Poor support. Do not recommend for Mac users.
