Enjoyable family outing great atmosphere friendly staff easy to deal with good food for the right price and busy spot best to book ahead for a weekend or Saturday session. The walk up from the back carpark will get your appetite up as the smell helps pull you up the back stairs. Disabled parking at the front door appeared to be 4 parking spaces allocated.

OK I guess. Strangely popular though. Meals are nice, but you are basically paying restaurant prices without the service that comes with that price. Not the place to go for a quiet meal and chat.

.I enjoyed my meal, of battered fish and chips with salad.The batter was light and crisp.Chips and salad just right.Staff were all helpful and gave good service. All round pleasant experience.
The food was delicious the bouncy castle was fun, except for the kids, the servers were nice and the view was beautiful. Tots recommend!!
I've lived in Buderim now for nearly 15 years, walking distance from the tavern. My family and I have never had a good experience in the tavern since we've arrived. My expensive medium-rare steaks are always at least medium-well, drinks are expensive and apart from one visit, the dining room staff have been abysmal. But tonight would have to take the cake. I work all day tomorrow, as do a lot of people and can't get out to put on a bet for the cup.
At 8.30 I went to THE ONLY PLACE ON BUDERIM YOU CAN PUT ON A BET and it was closed - the night before the cup! As I was walking to my car shaking my head like so many times before, two more people walked towards the locked door - that's 3 people in 10 minutes. I wonder if TAB would be happy three people were turned away from one of their betting venues. Don't let the one star fool you, if I could give zero stars I would!

Most of the stars are for the location. Unimpressed by beer selection and 2 of our 3 meals - overcooked steak is a crime!

We always enjoy the hospitality from all staff at the Buderim Tavern each time we have visited, usually for Lunch. Our Compliments to the staff in the Food preparation area, the meals are always excellent. Also Julie and the girls at the bar are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Finally we love the excellent view from the restaurant.
My husband and I were married in the function room at the Tavern last weekend, what an absolutely beautiful setting!
The view was amazing, the room looked incredible, the food was fantastic and the staff were just so easy and accommodating! Special mention to Lisa and Stacey, who made the whole thing so stress free and easy for us, it was just a magical day and we couldn t have been happier with everything!
I would 100% recommend the Buderim Tavern as a wedding venue to anyone getting married, we just loved it! :-)

Excellent service, going over and above. Very generous-sized meals and drinks. Staff were generous in upgrading meals and drinks, giving ice cream to all our teens, even though only one kids meal was ordered. Would definitely recommend and come back again. We dined Sunday lunch.
We always enjoy coming here with our family. Great place to catch up with friends or celebrate special occasions. Love their food and drinks, there s also free face painting for kids and the view is amazing.
Had the scotch fillet and calamari with chips and salad today. It was amazing, the best food iv had in a long time can t recommend enough. Plus great view. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

I had a beer and a meal there but to be honest there was not much else. Staff were not happy nor sad they were a bit robotic the food was good but very pricey like the drinks. The reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 was because of the view. I can t see myself going back there anytime soon.

I was very disappointed with the experience, I made a reservation for a family dinner to celebrate my daughter's birthday, when we arrived we found we were not seated where requested, and the staff weren't apologetic or seemed too concerned
Then we found there was a seating short, again no apology, after dinner and after waiting 30 minutes for dessert to be brought we approached a staff member and said several people were waiting for dessert, after a further ten minutes we approached another staff member who brought 3 desserts and said the others would be out shortly, after another ten minutes we approached the same staff member who apologised and said she thought someone else had taken the others
So apart from that person and the young woman taking the meal orders I couldn't give any of the staff involved with our outing any marks for service or courtesy

Usually very good. Great views. This time some booking information not actioned. Gents toilet stank of stale urine, floor wet, and soap empty. Small details like this detract from the usually good experience.

A quick bite to eat at lunch time. Had a steak sandwich and drink in the public bar. Service was quick and efficient, staff friendly. Food was great . Used Monty rewards app to gather some sponsorship for our cricket club.
Poor house policies, lacklustre food, overpriced, a real letdown.
Security was a bit of the mark. There was no one there and one of our party of 9 was knocked bak (he was no-where near drunk) so we went elsewhere
Buderim Tavern is just not a Molly pick.
For a tavern it does have everything...food...drink...poker machines...a conference room...parking (steep down back) and wonderful views... outdoor area...but if is a TAVERN....just not special....many others will not agree.

On my last trip to Buderim we (as usual) Visited the Buderim Tavern for a lunch with my elderly mother and family.
The restaurant itself is a delightful place to eat with pleasant staff and fantastic view.
What a shame the food is such a let down.
There is a nice display of prime cut steaks at the front counter.
Unfortunately they are not the steaks you get.
I ordered a $48.00 Noolan T Bone which on the menu stated would ''melt in your mouth''.
I struggled to even cut the dried up cheap cut of T bone which came out dumped on a pile of chips with a small salad on the side.
My mother pensioners steak was exactly the same cut but even tougher.
I felt so sorry for her as she is 92 and has trouble chewing as you could imagine.
Even my nieces eye fillet was tough and an effort to chew through.
I rang the manager (Adrian) and was brushed off with the usual ''ill look into it comment''.
You cannot rely of a great view and the hope that patrons will not complain to get by as a restaurant.
If your Chefs (more likely cooks) can not look at a plate before leaving the kitchen and determine if its up to standard or not you have a problem...

The call to him was solely to make him aware of the problem so he could prevent it happening again.
Meals were mixed up, SO noisy with an Elvis show going on..... It still amazes me why we need such loud music while eating dinner.. Isn't that for conversation? No return from this guest

Brilliant! In the large dining area the pub has a terrific view to the south. It was a bit rainy and misty but gave it that zombie movie kind of atmosphere. When i returned from getting a cold schooner from a very pleasant chap at the bar, one of the zombies had taken my seat, oh! noo0!, It was only Grandma!
It was a very busy day and the food waitress said it would be 45 minutes waiting time for lunch. I said, "that's just enough time for me to have 7 schooners, play some Keno, and more conversation with the Zombie...err! Grandma....! The food arrived in about 20 minutes or it seemed like 20 minutes...grandma had kept up her end of the conversation about free bus rides to places I could only dream about, well, i did fall asleep at one point. Apocalyptic!!

Nice view but the food was average and not what I expected. Rib eye was tough and over cooked, caesar salad was a few iceberg lettuce leaves with little else. Chips were good though not greasy but a weird cut.

Fast and friendly service. However it seems a bit of hit and miss when it comes to the cooking of the steaks. Ordered mine medium-rare but got medium-well done. For the price we paid we would expect it spot on.
In terms of atmosphere, it can get a bit loud when busy. The views are incredible!
Staff were nice. Great atmosphere and the food was good. I had a steak and prawns...served with chips salad and my favourite pepercorn sauce for only $27. Bargain! Good wine also.
Lovely meal, good service. We were there for Melbourne Cup day so was very busy and a little noisy which I realise is unavoidable on such a busy day.
Would you believe no seafood basket on the menu. Great food across the board although a tad pricey. Huge space with a great view. Chillie crabs with bread isn't a restaurant quality dish.

Awesome food, I'm not really into taverns but I really enjoyed myself here. There's is pokies and Keno for people that like that and in the day time the view is beautiful as it overlooks the Maroochydore to Kawana city to beach area.
Two nights ago (Friday June 22, 2018) was, what I thought would be a typical Friday night for me over the last 15 months at the Buderim Tavern. I walked into the crowded pub. I went to the high 'bar tables' as I usually do because I had long since advised that these tables do not require a reservation.
I placed my phone and glasses on a table with no personal effects on it aside from a few menus as I was advised to do 15 months ago when I first started going to the Tavern after I moved to the area. I went to the bar, ordered my drink then retunred to my table and emailed a friend on my phone as I thought about what I might order for dinner.
What occurred over the next 20 minutes still has me flabbergasted and it occurred because of an employee that is an evil little woman who has not on ly caused a high turnover of staff, but is a constant source of aggravation to regular patrons of the Tavern. .
I was approached 5 times by 4 different people telling me that the table was 'reserved' despite no reserved sign on the table and the fact that I was told that these are the only tables that do not require a reservation.
The first of the 4 people to approach me was a younger female staff member who was neither friendly nor rude. Her approach was simply that the table was reserved and I had to move and I had to move now. The second person was the 'evil' little woman who was, well, her normal rude self. The third person who approached me to move was the woman who apparently had 'reserved' the un-reservable table. The fourth was the male manager. He asked me for my side of the story. After about 5 minutes of discussion - and his foolish decision to 'stand over' me rather than sit down in front of me was, what I thought was a resolution.
I thanked him for his reasonable approach and told him I was going to get another drink before i ordered. He offered to buy my next drink and I thanked him but told him I neither wanted nor expected anything for free.
Jump to the end and the manager was back several minutes later telling me i had to leave the premises. No reason given, just that I was required to leave.
And all of this to a regular customer who spends on average $75/week simply because a power hungry and bitter little person had a bee in her bonnet that night.
Allow to clarify that I am a 55 year old man who is neither drunk nor aggressive in the Tavern...EVER. I very much get along with all of the staff there. As mentioned, I am a regular who is always respectful whenever I interact with customers and other patrons.
Whatever the agenda of the parties involved it was extremely foolish of the new leadership at the Tavern considering that community satisfaction with the pub is waning. A regular customer is now going out into the community with an incredibly negative story about the Buderim Tavern for reasons that were completely unnecessary.

Great meal. I had the small eye fillet and it was perfect. A place we can afford to shout the parents since they're seniors and the seniors menu is fantastic.
