My "go-to" hotel in Dublin, literally everytime I stay in Dublin I stay here. Rooms are spotless, food is good, staff are great.. I only wish I could get a better price so i could stay here more often!

Pricey sort of hole, built out the end of the docks for overprivileged Fathead millennials. This is where they film that stupid first dates show where you go in with high hopes and dreams of getting the shift or whatever and come out with empty pockets, a mortgage to try and pay for the meal and a profound sense of disappointment.

Grand, in a word. I need a cookie :D

You can tell Bono owns this hotel.....there's a big mural of him on the wall that's 3 floors high!!!! And at 350 a night it's just a bedroom at the end of the day ...nothing special...the staff were lovely though

Below Average food.

Below Average food.
Poor service.
Rude staff.
Overpriced

This was for lunch and based on this I wouldn't be in a rush to stay here. Had to ask 5 times for drinks. 4 times for the bill. Front of house was very rude and the food would have been better at Eddie Rockets

Just had an hour to wait until 3Arena in Dublin opened before I could enter to see a show so went into The Gibson Hotel and enjoyed a light mid day snack.
The servers were on the spot with the Menu and delivered very promptly.
It was fast and hot which was great the windy/ wintry day it was outside.
Very enjoyable and the staff welcomed everyone with a warm smile!
I highly recommend a visit here!

One of the better hotels I've stayed at in Europe. Rooms are spacious, at least the one I had, and the AC actually worked. Staff was very friendly, and the fact the 3Arena is across the street is convenient since the tour buses cant park nearby.

Beautiful hotel, very quiet though the neighborhood was under construction. Americans, be prepared to place your key card in the interior wall slot or the electricity won't work. You'll also need a degree in engineering to figure out the shower knobs. But there were plenty of towels and little bottles of shampoo, plus bottled water and the fixings for tea. The bed was brilliantly comfortable and the whole room was very clean. Do not skip the extensive breakfast bar, and try the black pudding!

Good location, convenient for early port departures and very easy to get into the heart of Dublin on the tram line. Breakfast wasn't the best, a good choice and the continental stuff was OK, but the hot food was in the wrong type of containers I think, resulting in steamed rather than crispy bacon and sausage etc. Bar food on the other hand was excellent, the noodle dishes were tasty and a good size. The room was excellent, but there's a building going up right next door and work starts early. So check which side your room is on.

Overall I was satisfied with the quality of service we received, the hotel is fresh, modern and very clean, the staff are always friendly and helpful, however, I was very disappointed to be charged for a hot chocolate at breakfast, in addition to the 13 charge for breakfast, bearing in mind that my son did not have either tea or coffee as a beverage with breakfast, and only eat a bowl of Coco Pops and half a plate of scrambled egg. While it was only 3.45, paid in cash - still waiting for the change, and of the people that I mentioned it to, the phrase petty has been used a number of times.

When we got back to the hotel we decided to have a drink. It took ages to get served at the small bar. There was loud music coming from the other bar which was reserved for a function which became annoying so we retired to bed. There is no soul to this place so will not be staying again.

Beautiful hotel. Very handy location just beside 3 arena. The staff was quite slow and kept forgetting my order. Qas disappointed paying this much money and waiting forever for my order cause they kept getting it wrong (for room service)

Hotel is very pricey for what you get in return. Is not in the ideal location if you want to visit the city. Room is neat and of reasonable size, WiFi is good. Breakfast therein was very disappointing especially the price / quality ratio. It is a buffet where not everything was fresh, the range was also not very wide.

Comfortable hotel. Convenient conference location by the port of Dublin. Ok food. Pleasant staff. Slept well. Easy to get to: just by the first stop of the express bus from the airport.

The beds/rooms are nice except the showers awful temperature knob, the restaurant had a makeshift wooden wall running through it and slow service but that can be forgiven due to covid. Also I ordered a birthday package and for my girlfriend and she got a hen party balloon with a small Tesco like birthday cake square.

The Gibson is an outstanding Hotel. We were offered a complimentary upgrade on arrival and got to enjoy the Gibson Suite for the night. I couldn't rate the room any higher, it was fantastic. The staff were courteous, polite and very helpful from the beginning to the end of our stay. The food in the restaurant Hemi was amazing, particularly if you love your Asian food. If you're attending a show in the 3 Arena I couldn't recommend The Gibson more as it's directly across from the front of the venue. All in, it's an excellent choice for business or leisure

Nice hotel and staff, food and service is excellent. Nice diversely constructed menus at the Hemi & Coda, although a plank of wood v a plate doesn t really look well on a first date :).
Rooms are pretty good, sizes are mid-level.
The lobby looks very clinical and cold but the rest of the hotel is pretty nice. If you want a nice relaxing stay be sure there are no concerts on at the time. Soundproofing in the rooms is really good but for foot traffic it can get hectic. Worth a stay though.
Price varies depending on concerts and seasons.

We had a great stay here. It s really fresh, young and contemporary, with stylish rooms, and a perfect location right next to a tram stop.

Our room was all offset angles with a huge window, Really smart and with a huge, comfortable bed. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and there was a really nice air to the place. It s really easy to get to (and leave from), as it s the end of the tram line, so there s often a tram waiting to take you into town.

We found the deal as a Secret Hotel on Travelocity - sometimes it s easy to work out fi this might be the secret one!

Whenever there is an event on across the way at the 3 Arena the hotel seems to cater for the people using the hotel for food and drinks and residents are left to fend for themselves. I arrived at the hotel late one evening and went down to the bar for a drink but couldn't get anywhere near as the bar was rammed with people going to a concert. I then decided to go to the restaurant for dinner and was presented with a card with two options of a set meal a 2 course and a three course. Both menus did not have anything on them I fancied and there was no salad on either menu which I found bizarre for a 4* hotel. Knowing there were nor tables available in the bar because of the consort across the road I asked if I could order a bar meal and eat it in the restaurant and was told NO. There were only 5 people in the restaurant. I ended up going back to my room and having room service that included room service charge and was awful I chose the chicken burger and the chicken was as tough as leather.

Stayed here for two nights, the room was very nice. The bed was super comfortable and apart from the ventilation in our room being a little loud the room was very quiet. IF you stay here I do however recommend going out for breakfast instead of eating in, you'll get better food for cheaper in a good old breakfast place.

a lovely hotel if you have nay business down that end of Dublin, eg. going to a gig or show in the 3 Arena.
Worth going in for a drink on the roof also if you are nearby as the views of the are can be lovely

Not worth the money on this occasion.

Not worth the money on this occasion.
Room was lovely, but unfortunately the bar let it down. No atmosphere, attention to customers, Heineken was terrible and at the price they charge it should be perfect. Very disappointed and will be choosing another hotel in future.
