An excellent address on Dublin. Modern hotel, at the foot of a bus stop that brings you directly to the airport and the tram terminus that brings you to the city center. A very good Thai-inspired restaurant to report, being the difficulty to find good tables in the city

Stayed in The Gibson Hotel on Saturday 8th Aug for my sisters hen party. From the second we arrived every single member of staff was amazing and so helpful.
We were upgraded to a fabulous suite, which was such a lovely surprise.
Would highly recommend The Gibson, we enjoyed every second of our stay.

To be avoided on concert nights. They tell you on phone bar menu available but when you arrive doorman recommends a dive around the corner as bar is now only serving drinks. Don t bother ringing hotel to complain because the phone just rings out. Unprofessional all round. Not worth the one star I had to give to post review

Consider your options before booking here. Management has you bring your laundry down to the front desk because they can't be bothered to pick it up from your room. Underwear on display. Your room has to be activated by a key card which means if you don't want a boiling room you'll have to leave it in there. However housekeeping will steal it and not tell you about it. Then you want answer from management "faith" they will ignore you to play on the computer. Great customer service (sarcasm). Consider motel 6

The hotel is very clean, modern and in an excellent location but I was disappointed by the lack of adequate bath towels in the room and I thought the breakfast was only satisfactory, I expected better.

What an enchanting building, so grand. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are about twice the size of any other hotel I have stayed at. The reception staff are on point. Always immaculately dressed, well groomed and helpful almost to a fault. Personally I would like to thank Juanito (pronounced Wanito) he was so helpful when I had problems taking my belongings to the room and he even went out of his way, above the call of duty, to help me unpack them.

I would have given five stars however the people in the room opposite us were, how can I say it. Weird. They invited themselves into my room after knocking the door with a bottle of vodka. At this point I allowed them to stay purely out of curiosity to see in which particular direction this was going to go. I am going to give you a test, it's an easy multiple choice one.

What do you think happened next? No lying now and no cheating by scrolling forward.

A. The girl vomited on the bed whilst she was bouncing up and down shouting about how she was going to Marbella next week.

B. The couple didn't leave the room until about 10am.

C. The "man" of the couple was having his girlfriend stand in front of him while she showed some rubbish on her phone yet at the same time his hand was down my male friends trousers interfering with him straight in front of me.

D. The "man" kept on saying the same rubbish over and over again which included how he had just got oout of jail 8 weeks ago and he was going to get married to the love of his life, said strumpet that was wearing shorts that could have possibly been used as a tent for a north pole expedition. This tent would also be able to fit the dogs in if you were using huskys otherwise you could fit at least 15 men in there.

So tick tock, which letter do you think it is........

As it happens all four.

I do love this hotel for the grand amenities however perhaps either a parole check or a sensible doorman that doesn't let girls in that dress like my big fat gypsy wedding might make some people's stay a little less..... Diverse.

Hotel was really nice and we enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the breakfast. It is buffet style and the food is quite good but it was a bit cold. If the breakfast was warmer I'd give 5 star.

Another crowd was eating our pastries and cookies. The hotel staff was trying to convince us that that wasn't the case and refused to supply more. So, some of us didn't get any. Thank you very much.
There was some horrible smell coming from the hallway, just as if the floor was mopped with a smelly old mop.
