Contemporary, modern hotel with reasonably sized rooms and generous bathrooms. Free, fast, unlimited wifi is a big big plus; slightly inconvenient location and mystery stains on the carpet are minuses. Will definitely return though.

Not a fan of the hipster minimalist vibe with signs pointing out they cleaned under the bed and other oddness. The tv didn't work, carpet was stained, and the walls were marred with scratches and marks. The place was a bit beat up.

I spent a couple of nights in the Gibson Hotel. It is in a renovated area of the city just in front of the 3 Arena. I really enjoyed the staying, the room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very polite and professional. Super suggested!

Room is nice, a couple of small things make it look worn. Marks on the wall, there's also a piece of skirting board damaged in the bathroom. It's in an ideal location for the three arena. Bit of a walk to town but has access to the Luas.

I went here with my workplace for the summer "barbeque". You don't actually see any cooking - the food is just laid out buffet style. At 28 per head, it's the most expensive burger I've ever had... food was ok, but nothing special. Staff were pleasant and bar area is nice. Very poor value for money.

Average hotel out of downtown Dublin. This hotel is very pretty and has a lot going for it. But where it falls short is that it s way out of the city. You go have the train right outside the hotel which is nice and allows you to travel into the city centre in 10 minutes. You will find nothing in this area that isn t in the hotel itself. The restaurant is vegetarian friendly and the hotel is definitely gay friendly.

Stayed last night the Gibson is a beautiful hotel and the staff are amazing they go above and beyond. The only issue I had was sour milk in the room for tea and only noticed after drinking and was sick. Minor issue could happen to anyone.
Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience!

Service was good but food is mediocre at best. Really not worth the money. Looks much more appealing on TV.... which btw is all completely staged from the staff to the background diners. I wouldn't eat there again.

Can't fault the quality of the room. One of the nicest beds I have ever slept in. Breakfast is simply a feast as the options are endless and the produce is fresh. Staff treat you like royalty and they deserve every praise.

Amazing venue with fantastic food drink and scenery. The servers that serviced both myself and my friend today were only amazing and only too happy to present us both with amazing food and drinks. Would highly recommend visiting them.

Everything about the hotel was lovely. As I said in a previous review Claire who waited on our table at dinner went above & beyond to make our dining experience excellent. Breakfast was a different matter however. Breakfast service was poor. I asked twice to have tea served. Then I had to ask again for milk. We weren't late for breakfast but they had run out of tomatoes mushrooms & the coffee machine seemed to be put of order. Pity as we enjoyed our stay otherwise

To be honest we have stayed here before and it was fantastic. Infact flawless. I have never completed one of these surveys until now. I won t ramble, but main restaurant was closed due to filming in the hotel. They did make other arrangements for guest. If they had of included this detail via email I could have made other arrangements.
Room was very clean and staff just alright. The receptionist upon leaving was either having a bad day which is ok as we are all human or completely not interested in us which I think was the real reason. I don t expect people to jump up and down, but a good morning, how was your stay etc... would have been nice. I think a great hotel that was let down by management and not informing guest prior to arrival about disruptions. I hope this helps going forward for your business.

Stayed in the Gibson for a Friday overnight on a fantastic Take the Break offer and the staff who are working through such a difficult period made our stay worthy of the highest review from check in to check out. Well done to the Gibson and to the staff who ultimately determine how guests review their stay. A wonderful experience. Thank you.

I had a delightful stay at this wonderful eco hotel! It has amazing design, which gives you opportunity to take unforgettable pictures for a longlasting memories. I had a direct view onto hotel atrium. Unforgettable! However, the hotel is situated 3 km far from the city centre (approximately 30 minutes of walking).
It was a big surprise for me to find tea bags, instant coffee, sugar, cups, an iron, an ironing board and a kettle in the closet. Also, at reception you can buy an adaptor (1 for 5 EUR).

Although the food looked amazing, I can not say the same for the taste. It was extremely bland, for a thai green curry there was no flavour or spice to it and the chicken was very dry. I was very disappointed with the food.

I couldn't be happier with my stay here. Our room was beautiful, well equipped and excellently decorated. The staff went to a lot of trouble with extra cleaning and safety measures due to the threat of coronavirus. The food and drink was delicious, reasonably priced, with a well thought out menu and presented impeccably. The best feature of this hotel is the staff. Every staff member I interacted with was helpful and friendly, and as welcoming as if I were a guest in their own home. Maja on front desk was especially helpful and kind. I'll be staying here again.

Great hotel, lovely rooms with nice showers and hair dryers. 6th floor rooms have great balconies that you will want to use. Bar are is spacious with nice outdoor seating, but not the most expert bartenders (but very nice).

Located in the middle of the industrialize city. Standing beside the city port and some ruined buildings, but the building can be a beauty on its own. The glass walled elevator and indoor garden are for keeps! Strategically located as well in front of a train station and an event place (3Arena) and a newly opened mall (Point Village) with a 3D theater (Odeon).

Just had lunch in the Hemi Bar. Club sandwich was extra filling and nice soup. Staff were extra friendly. Well worth a detour towards the Point Village, especially if in advance of a show at the 3Arena.

Arrived at the hotel at 4pm, told the room would not be ready for at least another half an hour (check in 3pm), and sent back on our way. For the price paid this is a disgraceful way of treating your customers. The room itself, a deluxe room, was fantastic, dinner was good and breakfast was very good. But the lack of common courtesy was a very disappointing start to a night away which cost almost 300eur

Convenient location to get into the center of Dublin and easy access to the docks as well. Little pricey for the amenities but it was clean. The included wifi was insufficient for any sort of decent quality Skype video call.

We stayed here as we were seeing a concert at 3 arena. We couldnt fault the hotel at all, it was a lovely clean spacious room, however, the staff at reception clearly need more training. First we were given the wrong room and when we addressed this the lady seemed a little put out, then later on the second day our swipe card wouldnt let us in.the lift or room as it had been.put on.the records that we had left ???? The breakfast was of high quality and Declan that served us is a credit to the hotel, warm funny and attentive. We did enjoy our stay

Spacious and clean room, large bathroom. Peaceful quiet environment for sleeping. Tram in front of the hotel and within 10 minutes in the Center. Did not eat in the hotel, therefore no opinion on this.
Had dinner outside in the center of Dublin in the morning and evening.
There are dining options next to the hotel.

Nice clean hotel at the end of a metro line and very handy for the stadium for concerts.
Views are not much however. Excellant eateries just outside if you need a break from the hotel restuarant or run out of money!

I booked a room and paid for it upfront for a night in oct 2020 as a surprise . i then found out another hotel had been booked for a few days as a surprise for me. I rang the gibson and was talking to a lovely member of staff called fatima. I had to ring back the next day to talk to soneone in bookings to be told they wouldnt cancel. Now i can understand if my booking was in a day or to and them not to cancel but ten months away its not as if they wouldnt be able to let room for that night. So disappointed

Fab!!
