The hotel is very nice! Its clean and tidy. The room was big and spacious, the bathroom clean and there have been no signs of mold or anything. The staff is nice and competent. I liked the bar very much, as it has a good variety of beer (the Coor's could be replaced by a "real" beer imho).
I particularly liked the location as its quiet and off the center, but still you are in the center in a few minutes. Unfortunately, the windows in the room could not be opened. I really would like to get some fresh air from time to time. Even if it only would be a few inches.
Overall very good hotel!

Went to the bar for a drink before the cinema. Awful experience, the place is filthy, the staff are unhelpful and ignore you. There was one nice bar man a young Dublin guy who seemed to do all of the work, he couldn t apologise enough for the delays and the filth as he re-cleaned everything before he could use it. He remade my drink (I didn t ask him to) several times as either the glass was dirty, then the spoon was dirty, then the cream was sour. I won t be going back.

I was at a Wedding in the Gibson Hotel yesterday and all I can say is they looked after everyone very well the food was great the service was excellent and the staff were professional and friendly. The Bride and groom were treated like royalty which made their day extra special. I would recommend the Gibson Hotel for any event or function.

Excellent breakfast, food & presentation. Helpful staff. Food waa a bit slow coming out however and quite pricey. Also had lots of spiders in the room on the curtains which I guess arnt part of the cleaning checklist.
The local tram stops right outside the door. Cinema next door as well as starbucks but the shopping center is otherwise under construction at this time. Not much else around on the docks. Requires a short 10min walk to start finding more life

Stayed here a good few times and have yet to be disappointed. Couldn't be any closer to the 3arena so perfect for attending concerts. Also right beside the point Luas stop, making it easy to get from either bus or train station or the city centre. Very modern and clean. Breakfast buffet is one of the best I've had in terms of freshness and quality. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

New hotel. Very clean, large rooms. Friendly staff. Small details make the place memorable, e.g. the offer to take flower to brighten your room for free or dressing the decorations in Irish colors for the rugby game.

Very bright and airy. Big city hotel. Glass & modern. As an American, it was typical.. but there was no Dublin charm, in my opinion. No architecture to awe over.
Breakfast was ok.
Staff were nice.

Spotless comfortable hotel with very obliging staff. Tram stop outside the door which brings you to the city centre in minutes. Very convenient to the 03 arena for concerts. Highly recommend.

The hotel is a normal one, though they try to sell something more through witty advertising than anything else. The restaurant should be very good, as a local TV series is filmed. The rooms are quite normal but the gym is quite old and all equipment shows only Miles !! Great sauna and relaxation area!

Modern and cool hotel. Easily accessible from the airport, as it's the 1st stop on the airlink and aircoach buses (02 center). Convenient to Eastpoint Business Park on foot or by shuttle. About 30-40 minutes to walk to Grafton Street or Temple Bar. The rooms are spacious with plenty of natural light and a nice bathroom. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed here a conference recently. Rooms are a good size. Quite a lot of walking of you get a room that's not close to the lift. Breakfast was above average and conference facilities were spacious.

We have stayed in the Gibson every time we come to Dublin to attend any event in the 3 Arena. The location, access from the Port Tunnel, secure parking, transport links make it just perfect.
I would have liked a wider choice of food to eat in the evening.
Fantastic staff who couldnt do more to make any guests stay a complete joy.
I love the place and recommend it to all my friends.

Was there for a function and we were looked after very well lovely bar and restaurant. Great views as well. I do not know what the rooms are like as I was not in any of them. Reception very helpful and all the staff the same. I would definitely recommend it for functions that's for sure

This hotel does not allow early check-in and the front desk staff were not helpful. We arrived in the morning to check in for a 7 day stay. We had taken an overnight flight from the US and were tired. I was told that there were no clean rooms, but the staff did not check if this was actually the case. They told me that all rooms would be available at 3pm but not a single room would be clean before that. This makes no sense and shows a willingness to lie right to the customers face. Perhaps there was no room available yet but they could have checked and offered to have us come back in an hour or two. We were not told any of this until after actually doing the "check-in" paperwork. We then had to basically check in again in the evening when staff were willing to let us into a room. Since I was awoken during our stay at 8:30 am by staff trying to clean my room I find it very hard to believe that there were no rooms ready for us before 3 pm. There was no "do not disturb" card for us to use in the room.

During both of our attempts to check in, no information was provided to us about the layout of the hotel, about the facilities available, the breakfast, the WI-FI, etc. We asked to use the gym and relaxation rooms, but twice I was given a card that did not actually open those rooms. Both times by the same young man who was so rude and unhelpful during my checkin. I got one that worked on my third attempt after talking to someone else. When I finally got into the relaxation room, the drain in the steam room was not working, so you would have to stand in a few inches of slimy water if you wanted to actually have a steam. It was too unpleasant to do. The beds were small and turning on the bathroom light results in a light being shined right in the face of the person still in bed. Pretty amazingly bad design choice there. Also it was quite awkward to close the blinds all the way to actually make the room dark because it is hard to reach high enough without the usual hand rod at the top corner of such curtains. Almost all of these issues could be easily resolved, but not sure if I would risk it with this hotel next time I'm in Dublin.

A bit pricey I thought! I used this hotel for the bar on New Year's Eve. For two small 330ml bottles of non-alcoholic Heineken Zero beer I paid 12!!! Moral of the story is... drink alcoholic beer in pint glasses, they are cheaper!

Impeccable hotel, clean spacious rooms with a large balcony. It is not right near the center but well served by public transport, the tram is 20 meters from the hotel. Rich buffet breakfast.

My second time staying at Gibson, the room is always clean, tidy & much space around. The bathroom is good to have it in your own home. They serve good choices off cocktails, hopefully you guys can improve the taste of the main course.

I was Disgusted i paid 239 Euro for a double room for 1 night that included Building works being done behind the hotel that we were not informed of when i was checking in this woke up me and my partner in the morning ,going to the room the bathroom included 1 big towel and 3 small towels for 2 people which is ridiculous going onto the tea and coffee area there was no biscuits which every hotel has i shouldn't have to request these items when im paying these prices i wont ever be staying here again and wont be recommending again a pathetic effort for a hotel which is more worried about filming first dates then its guests Happiness

Fabulous Hotel in a great location. Luas on doorstep that brings you right into heart of shops, restaurants and bars in Dublin. Gorgeous spacious rooms with lovely views of the city.Staff are so friendly and breakfast was fabulous. Excellent location if you're looking for a place to stay after a concert in 3Arena . Our second time to stay here and will certainly be returning. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I love the vibes given off by The Gibson, the way it looks and how it's connected to the city center via an easy Tram. The room itself was great with large, spacious rooms and a luxurious bathroom. I didn't experience much of the food but I hear it was pretty decent. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Now this is what I can modern architectural craft meets prestine comfort.
The rooms have this vibe of sophistication and the interior of the hotel is just modern beauty at its finest.

Had a steak and chips which was well cooked.

Nice friendly staff as well.

Was at the Gibson for a conference and found the staff most helpful and accommodating and the hotel facilities excellent for running such a conference. A welcoming coffee and pastry on arrival, similarly at break time and a lovely buffet lunch.

Great location. Perfect for access to 3 arena. Luas stop right outside hotel. Very clean, modern decor with lovely big rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was a bit pricey so we didnt bother. Showers fabulous if only the water would stay at the right temperature. The water was either too hot or too cold. The room was very comfortable but I got a very uncomfortable pillow (flat and hard) but the bed was fine. Staff were lovely. Parking was 14 overnight and very convenient to the hotel entrance

Great location, lovely staff and food was excellent. I didn't stay in a room, I was there for a conference and I've been before. The room is really well designed for a conference type function
